This article is the first to examine Abay studies, starting from the period of the repressed Alash to the period of independence. The first studies of Abay returned to the scientific circulation only in 1988. These highly professional literary works for the first time laid the theoretical foundations of scientific research of creativity of Abay Kunanbayev. These are articles by A. bukeikhan, A. Baitursynov, M. Dulatov, Zh. Aymautuly, M. Zhumabay, M. Auezov, S. Toraigyrov, M. Zh. Kopey, R. Marsekov, I. Zhansugurov, K. Zhubanov. These articles are the first to substantiate the theoretical foundations of scientific Abay studies. Only during the period of independence was the true picture of the formation of Abay studies restored. In the works of A. Bukeikhan, a list of books read by Abai was compiled for the first time, Abai's poetic skill was highly appreciated, and it is emphasized that the poet's poems about the seasons are on a par with similar examples of world classical poetry. In the article of the leading Kazakh poet A. Baitursynov, the theoretical discourse of the poetic world of Abay is first substantiated. Abayeved analytically identified the narrative and discursive features of the poetic word Abay, focused on the image of eternal universal values. Thus, the universal value of the national code reflected in the Abai texts has been established. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that Abay studies of the Alash period is the main stage of formation and development of scientific Abay studies, so it determines the current development of this scientific branch at the present time.

This article is dedicated to the 110th birthday anniversary of a great Russian poet, native of Smolensk, one of the founders of the Smolensk Poetic School Aleksandr Tvardovsky (1910–1971). It examines how Smolensk motifs and Tvardovsky’s love for his home town are reflected in his works at the onomastic level. Smolensk-onyms reflected in long poems are analysed here, the focus being on anthroponyms and toponyms naming the characters and indicating the locations associated with Smolensk region. A close connection between the choice of proper names and Tvardovsky’s biography is established. An attempt is made to demonstrate how, using onomastic units introduced by the author into the storyline of his artistic text, the general principles of autobiography and chronotopy are realized, which have been noted earlier in critiques of Tvardovsky’s literary works. The onomastic component of the poems is analysed thoroughly and comprehensively, which helps us to decode the conceptual chain writer – name – text – reader and identify the author’s attitude to the characters and the ideological and thematic content of the works, as well as some of the author’s personal characteristics, tastes and passions. At the onomastic level, the thesis about the role of Smolensk motifs in Tvardovsky’s literary works is once more substantiated. A review is presented of onomastic studies analysing proper names of different categories in Tvardovsky’s poems (mainly conducted by the representatives of the Voronezh Onomastic School and the author of this article). It should be noted that Smolensk proper names in the entire body of Tvardovsky’s poetry are analysed for the first time.

Are there theoretical foundations that may substantiate communication in an online environment in regard to accounting reporting and implementation of information via mobile accounting technologies that brings together communication, numbers and computing? This conceptual paper explores the creation of an imagined community that has all the characteristics to connect accountants together with the implementation of mobile devices based on Anderson's theory of imagined communities. It describes a wide range of trends in relation to current and emerging technologies used and maps processes of financial reporting into this milieu via the notion of imagined communities. It argues that a sense of coherence exists between its members who feel a sense of belonging to the same group, even if they have never met. The paper examines for the first time in this conceptual multidisciplinary study whether the characteristics of the imagined communities that construct identity are related to accounting community formation and this is the theoretical contribution of the paper.

On the basis of archival materials and other sources, the complex process of formation at the Belarusian State University of mathematical education and scientific research in various fields of science is considered. Particular attention is paid to the years that did not stop in 1919–1921 discussions among officials and scientists about the legality of creating a separate mathematics faculty specifically for the opening of the Belarusian State University. In this case, for the first time, the position of an outstanding mathematician and organiser of mathematical education, a native of Belarus, I. R. Braitsev, is presented in detail. The author defines the 1920s as an undoubtedly significant stage not only in the formation of the mathematical component in the general character of Belarusian State University, but also in the formation of the foundations of the future high level of university mathematics.

ISTANBUL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL Istanbul International Film Festival (31 March-15 April 2007) celebrated its 26th birthday this spring with more than 200 films from around the world. This year, for the first time in its history, the festival opened with a film by a Turkish director, Ferzan Özpetek although the Italian production Saturn Opposite about depressed 40-year olds nostalgic about their youth, featuring some of the well-known actors of Italy could hardly be considered a Turkish film. The closing film was the US production, The Good German by Steven Soderbergh featuring George Clooney and Cate Blanchett. The films that compete for the Golden Tulip award are chosen for their relation to art and the artist or are adaptations from literary works. The fact that Istanbul takes place shortly before Cannes makes it rather difficult to find quality films for the International Competition, which had not been previously screened elsewhere....

The main purpose of the paper is to trace the history of the identification of the Angel of the Lord with the Archangel Michael and to identify the main stage in the formation of the cult of the Archangel. By comparing the text of Holy Scripture, apocrypha and Byzantine hagiographic texts, a clear picture of the influence of the apocryphal tradition on the Byzantine cult of Michael the Archangel is revealed. In the Old Testament, Michael is mentioned by name only three times - in the book of Prophet Daniel; in the New Testament - only twice in the Revelation of John the Divine and in Epistle of Jude. However, in the Bible there are numerous references to the nameless Angel of the Lord. For the first time Origen identified Prince Michael from the book of the Prophet Daniel with the archangel Michael, which was accepted by the following tradition. In the apocrypha, however, the worship of Michael is not always endowed with those aspects that will appear later. Perhaps the fact that the worship of Michael has absorbed the functions of other archangels relates to the popular hagiographic tradition devoted to the archestrategos. The first text of this tradition, which became widespread in Byzantium, was the “Miracle in the Chonae” (8th century). But the most exhaustively tradition of worship the archangel is reflected in consolidation of the identification of the nameless Angel of the Lord from the Old and New Testaments with Michael and provides the most complete exposition of the aspects of veneration of the archangel in Byzantium.

<div><p><strong>Abstract :</strong> The aim of this research is to conduct a critical analysis of Mario Bunge’s view that mental reality is identical with the reality of brain function known as mind-brain identity theory. The analysis is performed using Neosadrian perspective, i.e. a new form of Mulla Sadra’s philosophy which is developed by Tabataba‘i and his disciples. The author tries to elucidate the main claims held by Bunge and to launch some critiques upon those claims. The main conclusions achieved through this research include the following. Firstly, mind-brain identity theory cannot be accepted. Secondly, current development of scientific studies corroborating certain relations between brain and mental states does not justify the validity of the identity theory, also does not falsify its opposition. Thirdly, a religious-sufistical philosophy, such the Neosadrian, can be consistent with current development of scientific research.</p><p><em>Keywords :</em> <em>Mind-brain  identity  theory,  Mario  Bunge, Neo-Sadrian,  science,  religious-sufistical philosophy.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak :</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kritis atas pandangan Mario Bunge bahwa realitas pikiran identik dengan realitas fungsi otak, yang dikenal dengan teori identitas pikiran- otak.

This study is under the title of “The Speech Acts in Nali and Salim’s Two Poems”. It is an attempt to analyze these two poems in a pragmatic point of view, particularly in terms of speech acts. The significance of speech acts is not to recognize linguistic meaning of words in sentences and utterances, but it is according to the sender’s purpose in the context that they occur. Thus, the language of poetry as a way of using language, especially classical poetry, is not an ordinary language. Consequently, the paper hypothesizes that the speech acts have to be embodied in the poems accurately because there is supposed to be a hidden and invisible meaning in every verse behind its expression and form. The scope of the study is to examine the two poems, and it is benefited from their investigation that has been done in their anthology. In addition, whenever needed, the speech acts are identified in short because much has been mentioned about them in the scientific research institutions.
