Preservation and enhancement of national values — is the main goal of the work according to the implementation of the program «Rukhani Zhangyru». The program «Rukhani Zhangyru» is a new stage in the historical development of modern Kazakhstan. The modernization of the public consciousness of each individual involves a revision of the young people's attitude to themselves in order to achieve success in their professional activities and consolidate their competitiveness. At the same time, it is important to preserve all the positive experience that has accumulated over the centuries, the peculiarities of the people and the country, in this process and education plays a system-forming role. Today in Kazakhstan, the issue of promoting values in the student environment, developing young people's feelings of belonging to the present and past of the Motherland, responsibility for its future is acute, but the potential of the educational space in the implementation of this process is not fully disclosed. In the conditions of the changed educational space of these states, the process of forming a new generation of socially active, responsible for the development and preservation of spiritual values of young citizens with all the values put forward by the states is relevant. In order to determine the initial level of formation of the values of «Rukhani Zhangyru» among Kazakhstani students, there was organized an online survey among students and teachers of Kazakhstani universities using the Google Form. The significance of this survey lies in the possibility of stating the initial state of the formation of the values of «Rukhani Zhangyru» among Kazakhstani students. In turn, these results will be the starting point for determining the content of promoting the values of «Rukhani Zhangyru» in Kazakhstan's universities. the survey confirmed the need to activate the process of socialization of students. Our idea is to ensure the consistency of the educational process through its integration into the content of educational disciplines. In this aspect, the promotion of the values of «Rukhani Zhangyru» among students needs to find methodological solutions and strategies that are the subject of further work within the project. The expected results will contribute to the promotion of the values of «Rukhani Zhangyru» among students

In the conditions of the changed educational space of these States, the process of forming a new generation of socially active, responsible for the development and preservation of spiritual values of young citizens who have all the values put forward by the States is relevant. The Purpose of this article is to study, analyze and generalize domestic and foreign experiences in the issues of introducing students to the system of national values, revealing the potential of the educational environment in promoting values in the youth environment and strengthening its competitiveness. Methods: methods such as analysis, generalization,and comparison are used, they allowed to reveal the depth and relevance of the problem within the educational space. Results and their significance: domestic and foreign experience in introducing students to the system of national values is Studied and generalized. Educational resources are considered as a guarantee of formation of values of youth, self-determination of each citizen in the conditions of modernization of consciousness.

The planned modernization of the higher education system should be based on the analysis of the initial state of the system at the present time, problems encountered in recent years and suggestions from all stakeholders. The quality of education of graduates (level of competence) depends on the organization and implementation of the educational process (the contribution of the University) and the activity of students (the contribution of students). Considered the expediency of using the results of student’s surveys to adjust the educational process. Shown that the educational program can take into account the propensity of students to a particular type of activity (technologist, organizer, researcher). Determining the causes of students ’ anxiety helps to improve the educational process and relations with students. Argued that the quality of education increases with earlier adaptation of students to the educational environment of the University. It is shown how the degree of formation of volitional qualities of students affects the manifestation of such properties as responsibility, discipline, organization and diligence. The success of professional activities of graduates of educational organizations will be determined by the direction of their life goals. The assessment of life goals of students shows the need for continuous improvement of socio-cultural (educational) environment in universities. Measures for improvement of educational process and improvement of pedagogical qualification of teachers are offered.

Globalization, informatization, digitalization, led to large-scale changes that have problematized the modern process of upbringing. The modern practice of upbringing in Kazakhstan is aimed at solving the problem of forming an intellectual nation. The key figure in the upbringing process is the teacher. The modernization of public consciousness taking place in Kazakhstan, the renewal of both the content of education and the system of upbringing require understanding not only the content, but also the methodology of the professional training of teachers for the upbringing of children, for the organization of the upbringing system in educational organizations. We believe that the analysis of traditional and clarification of modern methodological foundations of professional training of future teachers of Kazakhstan for upbringing work will give us the opportunity to develop a strategy for training future teachers in the conditions of spiritual renewal of Kazakhstan's society. The article reveals the experience of Abai KazNPU. As a result of the conducted research, we came to the conclusion that the process of training a teacher in Kazakhstan, who has a high degree of ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity, requires strengthening the upbringing and socializing components of the educational process of the university. The strategy of professional training of a modern teacher should be a polyparadigmatic concept with the leading role of ideas of personality-oriented, competence paradigm.

Основные проблемы современного образования нельзя решать без его развития. Ученые и практики обращают внимание на устаревшие формы и технологии управления работой со студентами. В современных условиях решать проблемы образования традиционными системами управления и методами становится все сложнее, поэтому возникает необходимость в адекватном построении методической оснащенности образовательного процесса в учебном заведении, что актуализирует необходимость обеспечения системы образования методическими  разработками, дидактическими материалами, которые отвечают современным требованиям педагогической практики. Организационными формами методической работы вуза являются: научно-методическая и педагогический совет; аттестация преподавателей; предметные кафедры, творческие лаборатории преподавателей; школа молодого преподавателя; психолого-педагогические и методические семинары; методические школы преподавателей-новаторов; подготовка методических пособий, публикаций в периодических и профессиональных изданиях. Большинство вышеупомянутых видов методического обеспечения являются традиционными, но все они дают возможность внедрять инновации. Однако обращается внимание только на формы и методы организации образовательного процесса, а не на психолого-педагогическое сопровождение познавательной деятельности преподавателей и методическое обеспечение управленческой деятельности как источника качества и результативности их профессиональной деятельности. Реалии выдвигают новые требования к методическому обеспечению образовательного процесса в вузt, требуя менять цели, функции и содержание, превращая уровень его качества в научно-методический. Суть и назначение научно методического обеспечения заключается в создании условий для формирования и личностно-профессионального становления преподавателей, развития их педагогических способностей, творческого потенциала. The main problems of modern education cannot be solved without its development. Scientists and practitioners pay attention to outdated forms and technologies of managing work with students. In modern conditions, it is becoming increasingly difficult to solve the problems of education with traditional management systems and methods, therefore, there is a need for an adequate construction of methodological equipment of the educational process in an educational institution, which actualizes the need to provide the education system with methodological developments, didactic materials that meet modern requirements of pedagogical practice. Organizational forms of methodological work of the university are: scientific and methodological and pedagogical council; certification of teachers; subject departments, creative laboratories of teachers; school of a young teacher; psychological, pedagogical and methodological seminars; methodological schools of innovative teachers; preparation of methodological manuals, publications in periodicals and professional publications. Most of the above-mentioned types of methodological support are traditional, but all of them make it possible to introduce innovations. However, attention is drawn only to the forms and methods of organizing the educational process, and not to the psychological and pedagogical support of the cognitive activity of teachers and methodological support of managerial activities as a source of quality and effectiveness of their professional activities. The realities put forward new requirements for the methodological support of the educational process at the university, requiring changing the goals, functions and content, turning its quality level into a scientific and methodological one. The essence and purpose of scientific and methodological support is to create conditions for the formation and personal and professional development of teachers, the development of their pedagogical abilities, creative potential.

The article presents a lapidary analysis of possibilities of using the case method and the project method in the formation of professional thinking of students studying philology and journalism. We also consider the possibilities of using case technology and project method in the process of studying professionally oriented disciplines. The practical significance of the work comes down to disclosing the effectiveness of the case method and the method of projects in the process of forming professional skills. The relevance of this article is determined by modern realities of educational process at the university. The case method and the method of projects make it possible to increase the motivational component of learning and contribute to the development of teachers’ progressive thinking and students’ creative potential, both of which are necessary for professional activities. In this article we also made an attempt at revealing the essence of these methods in the educational process at bachelor’s level. They turned out to be the main methods for the formation of students’ universal and professional competencies. The project method and case method act as an integral factor in the gamification of educational process contributing to the formation of skills of expedient action, activation of thinking, instilling the skills of independent search for solutions in standard and non-standard situations that may come up in the course of professional activity. Students actively and productively master the necessary competencies while revealing their latent potential. The case method and the project method demonstrate great efficiency in improving the quality of personnel training; the specific types of their practical implementation are developed jointly during classes by university teachers and employers’ representatives. The purpose of the article is to determine the methodological potential of the case method and the method of projects in the formation of professional thinking of future philologists and journalists and to consider the possibilities of using case technology and the project method in the process of studying professionally oriented disciplines. The project method is a relevant and effective technology that significantly increases the level of mastery of educational material, the internal motivation of students and their independence. The case method initiates the development of professional thinking, independence, unconventional thinking and creativity. When faced with a formulated problem, students concentrate on finding a solution to the problem and the teacher’s skillful interpretation of the problem directs students to search for non-standard ways. Everything mentioned above leads to the development of integrative thinking and significantly expands students’ capabilities. The practice of working with the case method and the project method in the classroom confirms their effectiveness in the professional development of university students, expanding their professional horizons and the formation of professional thinking.

In the article, the authors analyzed the research on the problem of preparing the future preschool teachers for professional activities in an inclusive education. The barriers to the implementation of inclusive education in the practice of general education institutions have been identified. The conditions and ways to overcome obstacles and difficulties in the solving the problems of inclusion are highlighted. Attention is focused on the importance of the forming the professional and personal qualities of the future preschool teachers, required for working with children with special educational needs. It is proved that for effective implementation of the inclusive education in the practice of general education institutions by the future preschool teachers it should make some changes to the methodology of the organization of the educational process of the university in the process of their preparing. A number of tasks aimed at the preparing future preschool teachers for the professional activities in the inclusive education have been identified.

During the last decade there were a lot of organizational changes in the academic libraries. The academic library become one of the leading divisions of the university in formation of information culture of students. It is obvious that academic libraries currently are caught up in a cultural and informational tsunami. The new global information-communication environment is formed very quickly. Modern ICT also is an integral part of modern academic library. These two main factors undoubtedly influences changes of classical schemes of organizational culture. The academic library nowadays is acting as educational change agent. Moreover, mass higher education, flexible delivery, student centred and problem based learning, information literacy and other graduate attributes, are accelerating curricular and educational change in progressive universities. Academic librarians need to be as partners for academic teachers and others in that change. The academic library directly takes part in educational process of university. It is clear that the universities should play the important role in human resource develop-ment to serve the needs of improving the efficiency and quality in all aspects of the people in the country. Such a mission can be solved only in very close participation of the academic library in educational process. The objectives of this study are (1) to study the basic concepts and levels of information culture, (2) to study the main criteria of the information culture in the academic libraries and related parameters affecting the development of the academic library to be a modern organization; and (3) to analyse practical aspects of display (expression) of the mentioned parametres of information culture. The main idea of this study is that in the academic library, as well as in other open organisation, it is pos-sibly to create favourable conditions for effective formation of information culture. The mission of the university academic library must therefore move beyond excellence in information identification, acquisition, organisation, access and skills development. It should be described and asserted in educational terms. It is obvious, that academic library must continue to redefine own role within the teaching and research mission of the university. All necessary conditions should be created in order to guarantee continious process of formation of information culture. Based on an example of the academic library of the University of Siauliai the basic directions of modernisation of functioning of library and effective ways of its participation in educational process are shown in the paper. The article examines the state and prospects for the development of spirituality in modern Kazakhstani society in the context of the modernization of public consciousness and the spiritual revival of culture. Spirituality as one of the fundamental principles of the socio-cultural code of the people is rooted in the historical past. To master and understand the spiritual culture of modern society and to take a panoramic view of the future, it is necessary to extract from the cultural heritage the meaning-forming socio-cultural spiritual values. Spirituality acts as a moral concept in the philosophical searches of Abai and Shakarim. As you know, the basis of the moral teachings of Abai and Shakrim is the spirituality of the Kazakh people, which is preserved in traditions and customs in oral folk art and the works of thinkers of the Great Steppe. The article emphasizes that spirituality is a kind of measure for defining true humanity, an indicator of the degree of meaningfulness of a person’s being. The whole life of a person in the creative quests of Abai and Shakarim is the process of the birth of a personality, self-improvement of the inner spiritual world. By joining the spiritual, moral experience of other people as well as thinkers of the past, a person realizes his spiritual self-determination in the socio-cultural space of the modern world. The spiritual potential of the creative searches of Abai and Shakarim is relevant and in demand at the present stage of the modernization processes taking place in Kazakhstan.

The organization of professional training of students of a pedagogical university is realized on a competence-based approach, which requires a implementation of new methods, tools and procedures aimed at assessment educational results. The complexity of the formation and assessment of competencies is explained by their multicomponent structure and the ability to manifest themselves during students’ performance. Modern methods and tools of assessing competencies should be based on modeling situations that enable students to perform quasi-professional activity and the description of key elements of each competence domain. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for assessing the communicative competence of students of a pedagogical university studying at the Faculty of foreign languages. Methodology and methods of research. The methodological basis of the study was made up of: the competence-based approach and its views on new results of the educational process at the university, methods of assessing competencies (N. F. Efremova, Ibragimov G.I., Baartman L.K., Kanik M.); a contextual approach that explains the need to create educational situations that model the conditions of professional activities for the formation and assessment of modern educational results (A. A. Verbitskiy). Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, pedagogical modeling. Research results. A methodology for assessing the communicative competence of students of a pedagogical university studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages has been developed and presented. The quality criteria for modern assessment methods and instruments are formulated (authenticity, transparency, the significance of the content of assessment materials for students, effectiveness). The author of the article develops and presents a model of an assessment method based on the analysis of video fragments of communicative situations. The procedure for modeling communicative situations that can be used to compile assessment materials is described in detail. The foreign experience of designing pragmatic tests of oral communication (Discourse Completion Task) is analyzed, ways of improving these tasks are proposed.

В статье представлены результаты пилотного исследования, нацеленного на выявление отношения студентов среднего профессионального образования к технологиям виртуальной реальности (VR-технологии), используемых в процессе обучения. Теоретическая часть работы посвящена изучению этапов развития VR-технологий, обоснованию актуальности применения их в среднем профессиональном образовании, рассмотрению примеров организации в рамках учебно-профессионального пространства виртуальных мастерских, ориентированных на моделирование высокотехнологичных производственных процессов с помощью виртуальной реальности. Практическую ценность имеет опрос студентов Университетского колледжа Российского государственного профессионально-педагогического университета (РГППУ, Екатеринбург) относительно их осведомленности о VR-технологиях, заинтересованности в их использовании в процессе обучения, выявлении наиболее эффективных способов применения VR в образовании. Эмпирическая часть исследования представлена в виде таблиц, диаграмм по результатам онлайн-опроса студентов. Данные исследования могут быть использованы при разработке новых образовательных программ в системе среднего профессионального образования. The article provides the results of a pilot study of the students of secondary vocational education interest in the technologies of virtual reality (VR technologies) used in the educational process. The theoretical part of the work consists of studying the issues of the formation of virtual reality and the justification of this technology in secondary vocational education. Several examples of organization within the educational virtual workshops focused on modeling high-tech production processes using virtual reality. The research is of practical value, which is devoted to the results of a survey of students of the University College of the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University (RSVPU, Yekaterinburg) about their awareness of VR technologies; interest in learning through their use, identification of the most effective ways to use VR in education. The empirical part of the study is presented in the form of tables, diagrams based on the results of an online survey of students. The results of the study can be used in the development of new educational programs of VET.
