The main purpose of the article is to explain the actual role of mythological consciousness in the mod- ern spiritual life of society, thereby overcoming the generally sceptical, if not negative, attitude towards mythologisation in modern social science. The subject of the article is nature and forms of mythological consciousness. The authors? premise is that rather than being a collection of myths, mythological consciousness is an independent way of spiritual penetration into the world, the transformation of the sensually perceivable and the sign-symbolical reality into an inseparable whole. Mythological consciousness is interpreted as an immanent component of social consciousness. A special role is assigned to the centres of mythological consciousness, in which its nature is encoded. Mythologemes, archetypes and mentality are kinds of a link between social consciousness and social unconsciousness. By revealing the mythological nature of ideas, values, images, symbols, and signs as unavoidable forms through which worldview mindsets and conceptual pillars of modern science are formed, we find ways to unleash their true intellectual and spiritual potential. The final result of the article is the validity of the statement that the ideological structure of modern so- cial thought is its mythological component.

The article treats theoretical aspects of self-actualization, which is viewed by Russian and foreign scholars as the realization of one’s potential, desire to accomplish one’s goals, continuous development of one’s spiritual potential, one’s unique perception of the world, one’s emotional and psychological well-being (Gozman, 1995), efficient self-regulation and self-control. The article analyzes the results of an empirical research of novice teachers’ self-actualization. It describes the peculiarities of self-actualization of two groups of students. The representatives of the first group were highly conformable and dependent on others, were easily controlled by external powers, had the external locus of control, were learning to be independent in their actions, were learning to be guided by their own principles and beliefs. The representatives of the second group treated their life as a comprehensive process, were affable and friendly, abided by social norms, were guided by their own moral values and principles. The authors use correlation analysis to identify the correlation between students’ self-respect and their behavioural flexibility, their system of values and the support they get, as well as the correlation between their system of values, their behavioural flexibility and synergy, between behavioural flexibility and communicability, between self-respect and self-perception. These correlations show that people who respect themselves, who display respectful behaviour and have strong values are less prone to feel externally imposed depression, are guided by principles of self-actualization. The correlations also show that close emotional contact with other people involves other people’s moral values and self-respect.

The article considers the problem of transition to the anthroponatural paradigm of development, which is relevant for the modern stage of the world civilization process. It is noted that the global environmental crisis, the signs of which were clearly identifi ed at the turn of the 20th – 21st centuries, was the result of unbalanced transformative activities of people, as a result of which the very possibility of life on the planet was threatened. The current situation has shown the need for fundamental changes both in the existing type of management, based on unregulated consumption of natural resources, and in public consciousness in the direction of reorienting it to a rational attitude towards the environment, which would ensure the survival and further progressive movement of civilization. In the development of a coevolutionary strategy for the interaction of society and nature, based on a new system of moral values, the natural scientific, religious, philosophical and literary and artistic heritage of cosmism has significant spiritual potential. Based on the analysis of the works of representatives of Russian cosmism, it is concluded that the idea of the active role of humanity in transforming the environment involves, in addition to improving the scientifi c and technical sphere, the development of worldview attitudes focused on understanding a man as an organic part of natural (cosmic) unity, developing according to general evolutionary laws. The current sociocultural situation, characterized by a number of global problems (environmental, raw materials, food, etc.), indicates the need to move to an anthroponatural paradigm of civilizational development, which could ensure the joint evolution of people and nature, the formation of appropriate ethical standards and principles of ecological thinking. Clearly, the future of mankind, the prospects of which were outlined by the representatives of cosmism, is impossible without reliance on a solid moral foundation, thanks to which the population of the Earth has the opportunity not only to overcome the crisis consequences of its own activities on the planet, to carry out rational and balanced environmental management, but also to enter the next round of its development – the active exploration of outer space.

The article considers the formation of schoolchildren's artistic and aesthetic taste and the influence of landscaping of school green areas on this process. During natural sciences, students should form the concept of the beauty of plant objects, the relationship of individual-personal reaction, and the object's quality. The purpose of education in this context should be the consistent implementation of the humanistic principle - a careful attitude to the inner world, his interests and needs, enrichment of his spiritual potential. Achieving this goal is facilitated by introducing the educational process of a personality-oriented approach aimed at the holistic development of a student's personality. The formation of children's artistic and aesthetic taste is one of the urgent problems of the harmonious development of personality, the successful solution of which improves the quality of pedagogical process in general secondary education. Feelings and understanding of beauty, artistic and aesthetic taste are not formed independently. They should be nurtured, consistently formed and developed. One of the top places in the formation of aesthetic taste is studying the decorative qualities of woody and herbaceous plants in the green areas of secondary schools. Both lessons of subjects of a natural cycle and practical classes of circles can be conducted on their basis. Successfully designed green space develops students' aesthetic perception of form and space, symmetry and asymmetry, a combination of light and shadow, texture and colour, i. e. the formation of artistic and aesthetic taste. Plantations of tree plants and flower arrangements contribute to the formation of the concept of the beauty of plant objects, the relationship of individual-personal reaction and the quality of the object. Conducting classes on the territory of green areas of educational institutions compensates for the lack of communication with wildlife, forms the childrens' artistic and aesthetic taste, cultivates a caring attitude to the environment.

The article deals with the specific facets of the issue “Composer and Folklore” based on the example of piano transcriptions in musical and creative practice of Kazakhstan during different decades. Based on the traditions of musicology in the study of national composition schools, the genre that has acquired a special and ever-increasing representative value in the modern cultural situation is presented. In the works that are in active demand in the field of musical performance, the expediency of relying on the text of the original folk source for the implementation of the adequate and complete interpretation (performing, musicological, etc.), regardless of the measure of its rethinking, is emphasized.Since the most bright patterns of folk and “oral and professional creativity” (T.B.Gafurbekov) are interpreted more than once, the versions of various authors are compared. There are comments of the “series of transformations” of the well-known folk song “Kamajay” using musical illustrations. Its two piano variants show the significance of variation methods using genre-style models that bring new meanings to the content of the whole. “Improvisation” (1978) by A.Bestybayev (born in 1959) in the historical context is a symbolic work in view of its obvious conceptuality. The creative figure of the composer himself demonstrates the spiritual potential that will be even more convincingly marked and revealed later.Perspectives of studying the “National” category in its multiple manifestations in the development of the artistic culture of Kazakhstan are seen not only in view of the determination of the broader theoretical context, but also in view of the consistent introduction of works, documents, facts into the research practice, which were for certain reasons “forgotten” or not fully involved [1]. History and traditional values are able to actualize multi-level issues that are significant for the nation’s self-determination on the “global map of the XXI century” (N.А.Nazarbayev) through cultural achievements.
