Still low ability to find the main points of the news so it takes innovative and interesting learning strategies, one of which is the strategy of student created studies. This study was done to examine the effect of student created studies strategy on the ability to publish the principal items of eighth grade students of SMPIT Boarding School Darussalam. This research used true-experimental method. The population in this research was eighth grade students of SMPIT Boarding School which consisted of 61 students. Sampling was taken by using simple random sampling technique, then obtained class VIII B was selected as the experimental class and class VIII A was selected as the control class. The experimental class uses the influence of peer editing technique while the control class uses conventional learning with discussion technique. Technique of collecting data was technique of form of description. In the experimental class the average pretest score was 56.29 and postes 77.58 whereas in the control class the mean pretest score was 59.67 and postes 65.17. Based on the t test  for postes at significant level α ie 0.05 obtained thitung 4,83 and ttable ie 2,00. Because tobtain greater than ttabel, it was concluded that student created studies technique has an effect on the ability of find the headlines of eighth grade students of SMPIT Boarding School Darussalam.  Keywords: influence, student created studies strategy, headline

Understanding the concept is a benchmark students can proceed to the next stage in the learning process and the stage of thinking Van Hiele is a good solution to direct students to the actual concept of geometry. Stages of thinking Van Hiele specializes in teaching geometry. There are three main elements in teaching geometry, namely time, teaching material, and the teaching methods applied. If the three elements are arranged in an integrated manner, they will be able to improve students' thinking abilities to the higher stages of thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in understanding of the geometrical concepts of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Langsa through the Van Hiele thinking stage. This research was classified into quasi-experimental research. This study uses a One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign research design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Langsa. Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique and students of class VIII I were selected as sample classes. The instrument of this study is the ability to understand concept tests. This test was arranged in the form of a description consisting of 6 questions. From the results of the calculation of the percentage understanding of students' geometrical concepts showed an increase of 48%. The results of data analysis obtained that count> t table is 12.59> 2.08, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in understanding of students' geometry concepts through the stages of van hiele thinking at SMP Negeri 8 Langsa.   Keywords: Stages of thinking Van Hiele, Ability to understand concepts and Geometry.

<p class="normal">Efikasi diri dapat diartikan sebagai penilaian seseorang tentang kemampuan-kemampuan yang dimiliki individu dalam mencapai sesuatu yang telah ditargetkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan secara deskriptif tentang efikasi diri pada siswa, khususnya kelas VIII MAN Wonokromo Bantul.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MAN Wonokromo Bantul sejumlah 282 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah <em>simple random sampling</em>. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan statistik diskriptif berupa frekuensi dan persentase. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan diperoleh hasil bahwa efikasi diri siswa  kelas VIII MAN Wonokromo Bantul cenderung menunjukkan kategori sedang. Dari 142 siswa kelas VIII yang memiliki efikasi diri dengan kategori sangat rendah sebanyak 9 siswa (6,34%), efikasi diri dengan kategori rendah sebanyak 35 siswa (24,65%), efikasi diri dengan kategori sedang sebanyak 62 siswa (43,66%), efikasi diri dengan kategori tinggi sebanyak 26 siswa (18,31%) dan efikasi diri dengan kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 10 siswa (7,04%). Seyogyanya hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling sebagai upaya untuk membantu meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa.</p><p class="normal"> </p><em>Self-efficacy can be interpreted as someone's assessment of the abilities that individuals have in achieving something that has been targeted. This study aims to provide a descriptive explanation of self-efficacy in students, especially grade VIII MAN Wonokromo Bantul. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. The subjects used in this study were eighth grade students of MAN Wonokromo Bantul totaling 282 students. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is using descriptive statistics in the form of frequency and percentage. Based on the analysis and discussion, the results showed that the self-efficacy of eighth grade students of MAN Wonokromo Bantul tended to show moderate categories. Based on 142 class VIII students there were students who had self-efficacy in the very low category as many as 9 students (6.34%), self-efficacy in the low category as many as 35 students (24.65%), self-efficacy in the medium category of 62 students (43 , 66%), self-efficacy in the high category as many as 26 students (18.31%) and self-efficacy in the very high category as many as 10 students (7.04%). The results of this study should be a guide for teachers guidance and counseling as an effort to help improve student self-efficacy</em>

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias dengan teknik arsir ditinjau dari komposisi, Proporsi dan gelap terang karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dengan jumlah 144 karya dan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII-A yang berjumlah 29 karya dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara rata-rata mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan total 25 Karya, sedangkan mendapatkan kategori Baik total 2 karya. Dan 2 karya siswa pada kategori Kurang. Pada hasil rekapitulasi nilai karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias indikator Komposisi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,9. Indikator Proporsi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,6. Dan indikator Gelap-terang mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 79,9. Dengan demikian kelemahan hasil karya siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara terletak pada indikator Proporsi, dan  dari 29 karya siswa yang menonjol  adalah indikator Gelap Terang. Selanjutnya nilai terttinggi pada karya siswa dengan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86 pada karya nomor 23. Sedangkan nilai terendah pada karya siswa dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 74 pada karya nomor 28.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dikatakan cukup baik, karena terdapat kelemahan penerapan indikator proporsi, namun nilai lebih pada indikator Komposisi dan Gelap Terang.Kata Kunci: hombo batu nias.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the work of drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo with shading techniques in terms of composition, proportion and darkness of the work of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara with a total of 144 works and the study sample was class VIII-A, amounting to 29 works using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The results showed that the analysis of works drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo class VIII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara on average received the category of Enough with a total of 25 works, while getting the Good category a total of 2 works. And 2 students' work in the Less category. In the recapitulation of the value of the Nias stone hombo illustration illustration, the Composition indicator gets the Fair category with an average value of 78.9. Proportion Indicators get the Fair category with an average value of 78.6. And the Dark-light indicator gets the Fair category with an average score of 79.9. Thus the weaknesses of the work of VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara are in the Proportion indicator, and of the 29 outstanding student works are Dark Light indicators. Furthermore, the highest value in the work of students by getting an average value of 86 in the work number 23. While the lowest value in the work of students with an average value of 74 in the work number 28. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the results of the Nias hombo illustration illustration works SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara is said to be quite good, because there are weaknesses in the application of the proportion indicator, but more value in the composition of the Dark and Composition indicator. Abstract This article aims to find out how much the contributions of the students’ task toward dance art learning outcomes at class VIII in SMP N 2 Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.This type of study was quantitative with a correlational method. The population in this study was all eighth grade students of SMP N 2 Koto XI Tarusan, while the sampling technique was carried out by the Cluster Sample technique where in this study the samples were taken which were 25 people. Data analysis was done by using product moment correlation using the correlation test.The result of the study shows that there is a contribution between coordination of students’ tasks towards dance art learning outcomes at class VIII in SMP N 2 Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan and a contribution of 18.5% is obtained. It is recommended for  the teachers and students to pay attention to these factors.Keywords: Contribution Students’ Task, Dance Art Learning outcomes

This study aims to: (1) increase the motivation of class VIII student of MTs Al-Amin Pakis on the subject of growth and development, using the learning model of ARIAS at strategic cooperative learning Think-Pair-Share (TPS), (2) increase the yield class VIII student of MTs Al-Amin Pakis on the subject of growth and development, using ARIAS model study on cooperative learning strategies ThinkPair-Share (TPS). In this research is classroom action research (PTK/Classroom Action Research) by using a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used to examine all the data that have been collected for researchers carrying out the practice of applying the learning model of ARIAS at learning strategies in the classroom TPS VIII through science lessons about growth and development in MTs Al-Amin Ferns. Data derived from the results of observations, interviews, tests and other data. Data analysis was performed through three steps: data reduction, a data display (presentation of data), conclusion drawing/verifcation (conclusion). Based on the analysis it can be concluded that: (1) the use of the learning model ARIAS on cooperative learning strategies Think-Pair-Share, can increase learning motivation eighth grade students of MTs Al-Amin Ferns in the subject of growth and development, (2) use ARIAS learning model on cooperative learning strategies Think-Pair-Share, can improve learning outcomes eighth grade students of MTs Al-Amin Ferns in the subject of growth and development.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of examples non examples learning model on the ability to write an official letter of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bojong Academic Year 2015/2016. This study uses an experimental method conducted from April to May, white a population of this research is all class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bojong students in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample technique used is cluster random sampling, so that from the sampling technique the sample obtained is the class VIII B and class VIII A. Each of them is 28 students. So the overall sample is 56 samples. The VIII B class was given treatment in the form of the use of examples non examples learning model. Whereas class VIII A used an expository learning model in the learning process. Based on the results of data processing, it was obtained an illustration that the students’ official letter writing skill using the examples non examples learning model in the experimental class was quite good. It could be seen from 28 students, there are 20 students or 71.41% who get score more than 68. While the rest 8 students or 28.56% got a score between 50-67 by an average score of 71.78; highest value 83, and lowest value 50. While the students’ official letter writing skill using the expository learning model is not good. As illustrated by 28 students who were sampled, there were 10 students or 35.7% got more than 54. While the remaining 18 students or 64.27% got scores between 30-53. by an average score of 51.35; the highest value is 64, and the lowest value is 30. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the use of examples non examples learning model on the ability to write an official letter for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bojong academic year 2015/2016.

The objective of the study is to find out the effect of using save the last word for me method toward students’ writing skill for the eighth grade students’ at SMPN 36 Batam in academic year 2016/2017. The kind of this study was quantitative research. The research design was experimental design. In this study focused on quasi experimental design. The population of this study was all students for the eighth grade at SMPN 36 Batam in Academic Year 2016/2017 consist of 270 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Then, the total number of sample was 60 students that consisted of 30 students of class VIII.6 who were taught by using Save The Last Word For Me method and 30 students of class VIII.4 who were taught by using Think Pair Share method. The data was collected by test. The data was analyzed by using normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The result showed that the t-observed was 2.97 and the t-table was 2.002. It means that t-observed was higher than t-table. Therefore, alternative hypothesis () was accepted and null hypothesis () was rejected. The research found that there was a significant effect of using Save The Last Word For Me method toward students’ writing skill for the eighth grade students’ at SMPN 36 Batam in academic year 2016/2017

There are three objectives in this study as follows. First, this study describes the reading comprehension skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang. Second, this study describes the writing skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang. Third, this study was to analyze the correlation between reading comprehension skills of the news text and writing skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The research design applied in this study is a correlational relationship of two variables. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 17 Padang in the academic year 2019/2020. The samples in this study were 32 students. Samples were taken using simple random sampling or simple random sampling. The research instruments are objective tests and performance tests. Based on data analysis, three results were obtained from this study. First, reading comprehension skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang with good qualifications with an average score of 81.80. Second, the skills of writing news texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang with good qualifications with an average score of 72.30. Third, there is a significant relationship between the relationship between reading comprehension skills and news text writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang which has a significant level of 95%. Based on the hypothesis test, it is accepted that the skills in writing news texts are also in sufficient qualifications (76-85%). Based on the results of the study, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted because the test results prove that t count is greater than t table, namely 8.01> 1.63.

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning models and studentlearning styles on the results of learning Social Sciences. Conventional learning models thatrely on reading books, multiplying practice exercises, teacher explanations in the classroom,students are expected to be more diligent in practicing questions suspected of influencingsocial studies learning outcomes. Conventional models are considered to be less than optimal,because basically students will easily feel bored because they have to open sheets per sheetby understanding the contents of the book and listening to the teacher's explanation in frontof the class verbally.This study uses an experimental comparison method containing activities planned and carriedout by researchers, 2x2 factorial design in this study to find out whether there are differencesin social studies learning outcomes between students who obtain learning with cooperativelearning models and students who obtain conventional learning. The population in this studywere all eighth grade students of Al-Kamil Middle School Islamic Boarding School in CianjurRegency, West Java. Affordable population there are eighth grade students of Al-KamilMiddle School Islamic Boarding School District. Cianjur numbered 120 students. The resultsof this study indicate that there is an interaction effect between learning models and learningstyles on the results of social studies learning at Al-Kamil Middle School Islamic BoardingSchool. Learning outcomes of students who have independent learning styles and followcooperative learning models are higher than students' learning outcomes that followconventional learning models. Likewise the learning outcomes of students who havedependent learning styles and follow cooperative learning models are higher than students'learning outcomes that follow conventional learning models
