The chief aim of this article is to examine the emotional intelligence (EI) and personality traits as the predictors of job performance of IT employees in India. To obtain this, the data was collected from 158 middle management employees working in Indian IT sector through random sampling method with the help of three scales such as DKEIT, JPI, and MPI. After data collection, the study carried out a different statistical analysis which includes frequency, correlation and regression analysis through SPSS 23.0 version. The study findings reported that both EI and Personality Traits impact the performance of job of IT employees, i.e. both Personality Traits and EI operate as a predictor of Job Performance of Indian IT employees. Based on which, the article gives few recommendations to future researchers.

The present paper seeks to investigate the Machiavellianism in relation with Emotional Intelligence among Adolescents. It was hypothesized that Machiavellianism and Emotional Intelligence would be negatively correlated and Emotional Intelligence would be a significant contributor in predicting variance in Machiavellianism. In order to test the hypothesis 240 adolescents (120 females and 120 males) in the age range of 13 to 18 years were selected through random sampling. The measures used were Machiavellianism Scale (Mach IV Scale) and Modified Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale (Schutte 1998). The correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to assess the data. The results revealed significant and negative relationship between Machiavellianism and Emotional Intelligence .Emotional Intelligence emerged as a significant predictor of Machiavellianism. Thus, considering the possibility that individuals might have a dispositional tendency to emotionally manipulative behaviour immediately brings to mind the trait of Machiavellianism.

Bar on Emotional Quotient Inventory (Short form) was adapted as a research instrument validated through expert’s opinions and pilot testing with reliability coefficient Cronbach Alpha values 0.86. Data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. Major conclusions were; majority of BS students had markedly high level emotional intelligence and had excellent, very good and good levels of academic achievement. Female BS students had higher academic achievement than male BS students but emotional intelligence level was equal. There was significant moderately strong and positive relationship between academic achievement and emotional intelligence of BS students. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to measure the level of awareness and to analyze the implementation of foodbank program among students. A total of 350 students were selected using simple random sampling method. The data were analyzed descriptively via Statistical Package for the Social Science Version 25.0 (SPSS version 25.0). Using descriptive statistics, the finding indicated that the university students had a high level of awareness about the foodbank program with a mean score value 3.61 and the result for the implementation of foodbank program among university students showed a high level with a mean score 3.99. Based on the Linear Regression Analysis results, the overall findings indicated that students’ foodbank awareness were closely related to the implementation of foodbank program in university with β=0.732

In other to be in line with the quantitative approach chosen for this proposition, the medium through which information will be collected from respondent. only empathy and self-motivation has stronger influence (as in seen in the mean figures, correlation and regression analysis) on the academic performance of the students of economic department. It is found that while self-awareness, emotional management and interpersonal skill has a weak influence (as seen only in the mean and correlation figures) on the academic performance of students. Thus, this study recommends that students who want to succeed in their academic pursuit should take notes of their emotions intelligence (empathy and self-motivation skills).
