This study is intended to increase the student’s achievement and process to excute the social studies learning withRole Playing approach.This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented to 4th elementary students inSDN Nogosaren Gamping Sleman as the object of study. This study contains two cycles, starts from planning,implementation, monitoring, reflecting and improving. The data were collected by using learning achievement test,observations, and interviews. The data from learning achievement tests were analyzed by using the descriptivequantitative technique. The data from observations and interviews were analyzed by using the descriptive qualitativetechnique on the basics of the results of the observation and reflection.Findings suggest that by the Role Playingapproach implementation, the civic education can get its best result. The student’s score increases. It is proved bythe average score in each examination. At the first cycle, the average score is 69,43 and the second cycle is 74,90.

This study is a  Classroom Action Research(CAR) implemented to 8 th grade students in SMPN 3 Gamping Sleman as the object of study. This study contains three cycles, starts from planning, implementation, monitoring, reflecting and improving. The data were collected by using learning achievement test, observations, and interviews. The data from learning achievement tests were analyzed by using the descriptive quantitative technique. The data from observations and interviews were analyzed by using the descriptive qualitative technique on the basics of the results of the observation and reflection. Findings suggest that by the  Cooperative Learningapproach implementation, the social studies can get its best result. The student’s score increases. It is proved by the average score in each examination. Atthe first cycle, the average score is 66.44; the second cycle is 67.41; and the third cycles is 77.67

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran two stay two stray berbantuan multimedia, dan (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IX-A SMP Negeri 1 Sidamanik Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan desain Kemmis & Taggart, yang terlaksana dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran two stay two stray berbantuan multimedia dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa: pada kondisi awal siswa yang aktif hanya 55,56 %, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 59,10%, dan pada siklus II menjadi 85,50%. (2) pembelajaran IPS dengan penerapan model kooperatif two stay two stray berbantuan multimedia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa: dari kondisi awal rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 68,61, meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 71,94 dan pada siklus II menjadi 82,10. Dengan demikian ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari kondisi awal 58,33%, pada siklus I menjadi 77,78%, dan pada siklus II menjadi 100%. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MULTIMEDIA-AIDED TWO STAY TWO STRAY MODEL TO IMPROVE LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN SOCIAL STUDIESAbstractThis study aims to: (1) improve learning activities by means the implementation of the two stay-two stray instructional model, and (2) improve the learning achievement Social Studies of class IX-A, SMP Negeri 1 Sidamanik Sumatera Utara. This study is classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, using Kemmis & Taggart design. The data collection techniques used were observation, achievement test, and documentation. The data analysis used the quantitative descriptive. The results are as follows. (1) The implementation of media-aided two stay two stray instructional model in social studies teaching can enchance learning activities and learning achievement. There is an increase in students’ learning activities: in the precycle, only 55.56%, in cycle I, the average score of students’ activities was 59.10 % and it became 85.50% in cycle II. (2) There is an increase in students’ the average of learning achievement: in the precycle, only 68.61, in cycle I, the average score of of learning achievement was 71.94 and it became 82.10 in cycle II. There is an increasing mastery of classical learning. In the precycle, only 58.33% of  students achieved learning mastery, in cycle I, it became 77.78%, and in cycle II, it became 100%.

Learning achievement is greatly influenced by the learning experience. The learning experience is of course through various models and learning approaches, one of which is cooperative. One of the learning achievements that will be observed and studied is the content of citizenship education (PPKn). It is very important to instill civic education in students from an early age. This aims to instill the character of students who are in accordance with the foundations of the Republic of Indonesia which are contained in the 5 principles of Pancasila, for example being devotion, grateful, love for the country, unity and so on. Therefore, in order to improve students' learning achievement in PPKn content at SDN 3 Srabah, Bendungan District, Trenggalek Regency, a classroom action research was held using cooperative learning, the Snowball Throwing model by taking the subjects of this study were class III Semester I class students 2018 academic year. / 2019, amounting to 4 students. This research uses action research which is conducted in a cycle.This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of two meetings with a time allocation of 4 x lesson hours. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. From the analysis of the research data, it was found that the students' average score was 65,00 in the first cycle increased to 82,50 in the second cycle. Student learning completeness also increased, where learning completeness in the first cycle was only 50%, in the second cycle it increased to 100%. So it can be concluded that learning the Snowball Throwing model can improve PPKn learning outcomes in class III Semester 1 students of the 2018/2019 academic year at SD Negeri 3 Srabah, Bendungan District, Trenggalek Regency.

This action research aimed to determine the effect of Scientific Approach with Gasing Method in Physics Learning of class XII Mipa 3 SMAN 3 Solok Selatan. The type of research that has been used is classroom action research with two cycles. The data of physics learning outcomes were collected by learning achievement test and students learning activities were collected by observation sheet. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results indicated that (1) the average score of learning outcomes was increased from 73,75 (cycle 1) becomes 80,31 (cycle 2); (2) the average score of students‘learning activities was increased from 66,25 (cycle 1) to 86,25 (cycle 2)

This research comes from the low percentage of achievement of the 6<sup>th</sup> Grade student’s Minimum Completion Criteria (MCC) at  SDN Unggulan Magetan. There are 2 of 19 students (10%) passed in the post test on the teaching materials to identify the Continents in the World by using the Drill model learning assisted by Google Maps, and the remaining 17 children were have not passed (90%). These data indicate that the learning outcomes in these teaching materials were incomplete. Therefore, in this case it is necessary to hold classical remedial. The classical remedial process in this case the writer did through classroom action research activities. The objectives of this classroom action research activity are: (1) determining the application of Google maps assisted Drill method in social studies learning; and (2) determining the effectiveness of the application of Google Maps assisted Drill method in social studies learning in order to increase student motivation and achievement. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: (a) formulation of an action plan, (b) implementation of action, (c) observation, and (4) reflection. Data were obtained through observation, tests, interviews and notes on the results of reflection. Results of the research revealed that (1) the application of the Google Maps assisted Drill method can increase motivation and learning achievement in the social studies subject of the 6<sup>th</sup> grade student at SDN Unggulan students; and (2) there was improving number of student learning motivation from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1 the average score of student learning motivation reached 57.8, while in cycle 2 the average score of student learning motivation reached 78.6. seen from the results of tests conducted by the teacher after completing teaching and learning activities. As initial data or pre-cycle the average value reaches 56, then cycle 1 gets an average value of 64. In cycle 2 the average value reaches 78.

The problem of classroom action research is the low learning outcomes of VC grade 164 students in Pekanbaru. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes of VC grade 164 students in Pekanbaru by applying the cooperative method of numbered heads together (NHT). The results of the research and class actions of the Social Studies Course conducted at the VC class SDN 164 Pekanbaru students concluded; Learning outcomes in the first cycle have increased compared to conventional learning. Pre-cycle learning outcomes are an average of 50.25 or sufficient categories; in cycle I, learning outcomes reached an average of 71.75 or in the Good category; in cycle II it increased again by 80.25 or in the Good category; Prasiklus classical completeness is 10 students (25.00%.); the first cycle is 27 students (67.50%); and in the second cycle were 38 students (95.00%). Students who have not been completed are remedial. Observers observed that VC grade 164 students at Pekanbaru Pekanbaru seemed to understand the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Method. They learn and understand shared material in heterogeneous groups of 4-5 students. Based on the results of improved learning studies, the application of the cooperative method of numbered heads together (NHT) succeeded in correcting the problem of the low social studies learning outcomes in VC Class SDN 164 Pekanbaru 2017/2018 Academic Year.

This study was an Action Research which was conducted because the student’s achievement on Mathematics  were still lower than The Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM). The research was conducted to see whether the Systematic Problem Solving Strategy could improve the student’s learning achievement. The aim of the research was to improve the student’s comprehension on Algebra Limit Function subject In Mathematics, so their learning achievement also improved significantly. The research participants were the students of grade XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Kerinci. The researcher was helped by a collaborator who was a Math Teacher at the same school. The study was done in two cycles with four stages, (a) Planning (b) Action (c) Observation (d) Reflection. The result of data analysis showed that the student’s average score in cycle 1 was 69 (65%). It became higher in cyle 2 to 83 ( 85%). There was significant improvement seen from the result of cycle 1 compared to cycle 2. It could be concluded that the implementation of Systematic Problem Solving Strategy on Algebra Limit Function subject improved the student’s learning achievement significantly. Therefore, it was suggested to Math Teachers to apply the strategy in teaching  as the alternative solution particularly in Algebra Limit Function subject

ABSTRAK : Penilaian ini berisi proses pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas VI yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 18 Kendari. Tujuan dan karya tulis ini, adalah membuktikanbahwa kegiatan bermain dan membuat display dapat memberikan keberhasilan pada proses pembelajaran siswa dalam rangka pencapaian mastery learning. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melibatkan 12 siswa kelas VI yang ada di SD Negeri 18 Kendari yaitu siswa kelas VI untuk tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Alat penilaian yang digunakan berbentuk tes dan non tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Antara lain siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang saling berkaitan. Faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran siswa yakni mengamati kelancaran pembelajaran, suasana dan aktivitas pembelajaran serta hasil belajar siswa. Rubrik penilaian dilakukan pada saat siswa terlibat dalam kegiatan kelompok ketiga membuat display dan melakukan permainan. Rubrik bertujuan untuk melihat keterampilan-keterampilan yang diharapkan pada paradigma pembelajaran dalam pedoman KTSP yaitu,1) learning to know, 2) Learning to do, 3) leraning to be, dan 4) learning to live togather telah dicapai oleh siswa. Perbandingan hasil pre-test, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III, serta rubrik penilaian saat pembuatan display dan permainan menunjukan bahwa keterampilan yang diharapkan dari setiap kriteria penilaian dapat dilalui dengan nilai yang baik oleh semua kelompok. Meskipun penilaian rubrik dilakukan dalam kelompok, namun keterampilan itu tetap menjadi tanggung jawab setiap individu siswa. Hal penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan tehnik permainan dan display dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS karena suasana belajar dirasakan menyenangkan dan siswa lebih aktif menyelesaikan tugas serta terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Prestasi Belajar, STADABSTRACT: This assessment contains the social studies learning process for grade VI students conducted at SD Negeri 18 Kendari. The purpose and this paper, is to prove that playing activities and making displays can provide success in the learning process of students in order to achieve mastery learning. In this study the authors involved 12 grade VI students in 18 Public Elementary School Kendari, namely grade VI students for the 2014/2015 school year. Assessment tools used in the form of tests and non-tests. This research was conducted in three cycles. Among other cycles I, cycle II and cycle III is a series of interrelated activities. The factors examined in this study were the students' learning processes, namely observing the smooth learning, the atmosphere and learning activities and student learning outcomes. The assessment rubric is done when students are involved in third group activities making displays and playing games. The rubric aims to look at the skills expected in the learning paradigm in the SBC guidelines, namely, 1) learning to know, 2) learning to do, 3) learning to be, and 4) learning to live togather has been achieved by students. Comparison of pre-test results, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III, as well as the assessment rubric when making displays and games shows that the skills expected from each assessment criteria can be passed with good grades by all groups. Although the rubric assessment is done in groups, the skill remains the responsibility of each individual student. This study shows that the application of game and display techniques can improve social studies learning outcomes because the learning atmosphere is felt to be fun and students are more active in completing assignments and there is an increase in learning achievement. Keywords: Activities, Learning Achievement, STAD

IMPROVEMENT OF LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON LESSONS OF LIMIT THROUGH VARIATION PEER-TEACHING MODELSThis research aims to improve Mathematics learning activities and improve mathematics learning achievement of the Limit material through the variation peer-teaching models model for class XI MIPA 3 students in the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Bogor. This research was conducted from January 2019 to June 2019. The subjects in this Classroom Action Research were students of SMA Negeri 9 Bogor in class XI MIPA 3, totaling 35 students consisting of 13 male students and 22 female students. Data collection techniques with written tests and observations. Data analysis using comparative description analysis and qualitative description. The results of this Classroom Action Research are: students' mathematics learning activities in the initial conditions, cycle I and cycle II have increased. The average score of student learning activities in the initial conditions of 2.74 increased to 3.77 in the first cycle and increased to 4.30 in the second cycle, while the mathematics learning achievement of students in the initial conditions, cycle I and cycle II increased. The average value of student achievement in the initial conditions of 39.13 increased to 71.17 in the first cycle and increased to 88.13 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who completed also increased, in the initial condition, students who completed learning were only 17.14%, increasing to 50% in cycle I and increasing to 80% in cycle II. This increase is due to the variation peer-teaching models learning method, all students can be actively involved in learning. Students who are appointed as tutors are active in helping their group members overcome learning difficulties. Students who have difficulty learning actively ask questions and discuss with tutors who are their own friends.

This article aimed to improve the understanding of the concept of purchase and sale in class III Elementary School of Mekarjaya III through the application of information multiliterasi learning models. This research was  classroom action research. This research was conducted in three cycles. The results showed that the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle has average 63.2 with the percentage of classical completeness which was 48.5%. In the second cycle the average score of students were 70 with the percentage of classical completeness  63.6%. In the third cycle the average value of students were  81.2 with the percentage of classical completeness 87.9%. Then it can be concluded that the application of the multiliteration learning model of information on social studies subjects has success to increase the understanding of the concept purchase and sale in class III Elementary School of Mekarjaya III District Majalengka.
