Purpose: test development to determine the level of environmental literacy of students in the basic educational program of secondary general education, taking into account the level of knowledge of students in grades 10–11 and approbation of this testing at MBOU Secondary School no. 32 in Novocherkassk. Materials and Methods. While developing the tests, the literature analysis in the field of environmental safety was carried out, the training of the test groups at school was taken into account, which was the reason for an additional analysis of textbooks in general education subjects related to ecology and (or) environmental safety, with regard to the fact that the textbooks selected for analysis should be included in the federal list of textbooks. The structure of the test is described, and an example of test questions is given. Results and Discussions. The test result processing was carried out using MS Excel. The diagrams were built for each test group based on the results obtained, reflecting the level of environmental literacy of each studied class, then, on the obtained test result processing, a general summary diagram determining the level of students’ environmental literacy in four classes was built. The trend line as a growth indicator in an unsatisfactory test result was used in chart. Conclusions: students of secondary general education have a rather low level of environmental literacy. During the tests checking, the regularity that students answered correctly mainly the questions related to school subjects was revealed. The studies confirm that environmental education in schools which has only a small niche in educational work is not paid enough attention.

Statement of the problem. The relevance of the study is determined by the social order of modern society for the training of students who are able to quickly adapt to changing environment, apply the knowledge gained in practice, and be active in mastering educational material. All of this can be achieved with the help of interdisciplinary academic courses that contribute to the achievement of metadisciplinary results required by the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education. The pedagogical experiment was aimed at testing and evaluating the effectiveness of this method. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for teaching an interdisciplinary course in Ecology in the 5th–9th grades of a secondary school and to experimentally prove its efficacy. The research methodology consists of the analysis and synthesis of normative legal documents in the field of basic general education, scientific works of foreign and Russian scientists, experience in teaching Ecology in the 5th–9th grades. Research results. An interdisciplinary academic course in Ecology for the 5th–9th grades was developed and tested, the indicators of qualitative and quantitative performance of students before and after studying the course were analyzed. Conclusion. The interdisciplinary academic course in Ecology for the 5th–9th grades includes elements of N.B. Shumakova’s interdisciplinary teaching methodology and the following integrated concepts: system, science, force, adaptation, and interconnection. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the proof that interdisciplinary interaction in a general education institution allows achieving meta-disciplinary educational results that increase the quality of academic performance.

Introduction. The introduction substantiates the problems of modern educational practice, the relevance of improving legislation in education, and the search for new approaches and tools for organizing educational activities. Materials and methods. Theoretical and empirical research methods are employed to corroborate the consolidation of the concept of education at the national level; identify the goals, objectives, and directions of modern educational work with children; and reveal effective tools for organizing educational activities in the regional general education system. Results. A set of measures has been implemented at the institutional level to test an exemplary educational program, and conditions have been created for the successful development and implementation of working programs. Conclusions. The main lines for the analysis of the educational program implementation results, methods of obtaining information, evaluation criteria, and key issues that determine the prospects for the educational system development are determined. The article considers parameters, factors and criteria of evaluation of professional development of teachers by heads of school. It was determined that evaluation of professional development of a teacher of the general educational institutions is implemented according to the following parameters: the readiness of a teacher of the general education institution for pedagogical activity, the content of the activity of the teacher of the general education institution, and the result of educational work of the teacher of the general educational institution. It was highlighted that the parameter “The readiness of a teacher of the general education institution for pedagogical activity” consists of the following factors: continuing education and personal qualities of a teacher. It was revealed that the parameter “The content of the activity of the teacher of the general education institution” is determined by such factors as professional duties and creative pedagogical activity. It was also specified that the parameter “The result of pedagogical activity of the teacher of the general educational institution” implies the factor of a teacher`s social activity. The article reveals the results of diagnostics of teachers` professional development evaluation by school administrators via the level of the readiness for pedagogical activity, the content and the result of educational work of a teacher of the general education institution

The article considers the use of “Crossfit” exercises system during physical culture lessons among senior schoolgirls in terms of educational program at general education institution. The author created the experimental content of the lessons on the basis of “Crossfit” exercises. It was distributed within a weekly load fulfillment using different variations of exercises. Owing to innovative technology of this “Crossfit” exercises system, used at physical culture lessons, the authors stated interest increase among senior schoolgirls in physical culture lessons. They proved valid increase of the following indices: the level of physical readiness, subjective indices of psychoemotional state and in general health state improvement. The held research proves the expediency of “Crossfit” exercises system use at physical culture lessons among senior schoolgirls in comparison to classical variants of means used at general education schools.

The changes in the economy and social sphere raise the problem of revising approaches to the vocational self-determination of young people. Special attention should be paid to the system of general secondary education which requires significant modifications. The article formulates real challenges posed to the education system that affect the formation of vocational self-determination. The paper presents some benchmarks for developing career guidance aimed at schoolchildren and adults that are enshrined in federal, regional and municipal regulations. The author also describes some approaches to the formation of schoolchildren vocational self-determination implemented through pre-subject oriented instruction and industry-specific training in the context of cluster-network forms of interaction between the school and institutions of secondary vocational, higher and additional education, as well as with enterprises and business. This paper also presents the innovative project developed by Municipal Budgetary General Education Institution called "Secondary School No. 60 in Novokuznetsk" of the Kemerovo Region and describes career guidance activities within the framework of its implementation.

Objectives to identify the specific features of central nervous and respiratory systems functioning in pupils of last grades in secondary school in conditions of high intensity of educational work. Material and methods. The study assessed the intensity of the educational process in a multidisciplinary lyceum for more able learners and a secondary school for general education in accordance with the Federal Recommendations "Hygienic assessment of the intensity of students' educational activities". In both educational institutions, the observation groups were formed from pupils of grades 9th and 10th. The first group consisted of 200 children from the lyceum specializing in education of gifted learners. The second group included 200 children from a traditional secondary education school. The functional state of central nervous system was evaluated by the method of variational chronoreflexometry. The state of respiratory system was assessed using the spirography method. Results. In conditions of pronounced tension of the educational process (class 3.1), in the pupils of a multidisciplinary lyceum the level of nervous reaction was stabilized, the ability of the central nervous system to form an intra - and intersystem adaptation was increased in comparison with the corresponding data of general secondary school pupils who were studying with the optimal educational workload(class 1). These results can testify the sufficient training status of nervous processes as a result of intense cognitive activity underlined by the harmonious development of systems that ensure functioning of the central nervous system in an operational mode. Conclusion. The study results can be useful for educational institutions specializing in teaching students with increased educational abilities. We suppose that the introduction of techniques for the development of operational indicators of central nervous system into the educational process might ensure high intellectual achievements.

В статье предпринята попытка теоретического анализа и изучения научной литературы по организации и становлению воспитательной работы с осужденными в местах лишения свободы, продемонстрирована взаимосвязь между политико-воспитательной работой, ресоциализацией и исправлением осужденных в пенитенциарных учреждениях. Проведенное исследование позволяет предполагать, что воспитательная работа является основополагающим средством исправления различных категорий осужденных (регламентировано ст. 9 УИК РФ). На этой основе критерием исправления будет становиться устойчивое правопослушное поведение человека. В связи с этим возникает необходимость использования психолого-педагогической программы по перестройке и самооценке осужденных, позволяющей формировать их готовность к самореализации, когда осознание совершенных преступлений становится внутренне неприемлемым. Авторами отмечается, что, самоисправление человека зависит от ряда направлений воспитательной работы: нравственного, правового, физического воспитания, получения основного общего образования, получения профессии. Очевидно, что для закрепления положительного результата процесс ресоциализации в пенитенциарных учреждениях должен проводиться сотрудниками всех отделов и служб на основе комплексных программ, разработанных с учетом специфики и возраста осужденных.The article attempts a theoretical analysis and study of scientific literature on the organization and formation of educational work with convicts in prisons, demonstrates the relationship between «political and educational work», re-socialization and correction of convicts in prisons. The study suggests that educational work is a fundamental means of correcting various categories of convicts (regulated by article 9 of the criminal code). Based on this criterion fixes will become sustainable human behavior, demonstrating a conscious rejection of the violation of legal norms with the aim of securing sustainable patterns of law-abiding behavior. There is a need to use the psychological and pedagogical Program for restructuring and self-assessment of convicts, which allows to form on this basis their readiness for self-realization, when the awareness of the crimes committed becomes internally unacceptable. In this regard, the self-correction of a person depends on a number of areas, namely, moral, legal, physical education, basic General education, profession, forming the basis of educational work. It is obvious that in order to consolidate a positive result in penitentiary institutions, the activities of all departments and services should be carried out a process of re-socialization on the basis of comprehensive Programs developed taking into account the specifics and different ages of convicts.

AbstractHolistic interpretation of Earth heritage is one of the most important tasks of UNESCO Global geoparks. The ABC (abiotic, biotic, and cultural interconnections) concept is a potential interpretive approach used in Earth heritage popularization through geotourism. Apart of the deeper understanding of this concept, this study explores the application of this concept in selected geoparks. The Colca and Volcanoes Andagua UNESCO Global Geopark (Peru) and Muroto UNESCO Global Geopark (Japan) served as a case study in the frame of this qualitative research conducted during the summer 2019. Results show that the ABC approach is nearly perfectly understood by both geoparks, however there are both internal and external factors which influence the extent and form of how this concept is applied in practice. Except for specific geographical settings, different stages of geopark product development, and different managerial approaches, they mainly include the level of scientific knowledge and general education in the given geopark, as well as level of knowledge management and networking with another UNESCO global geoparks. The more experienced Muroto Geopark interpretation exhibits a comparatively higher level of visible ABC application, while the Colca and Volcanoes Andagua Geopark can benefit in the future from the natural inclination and ability of the local people to integrate the cultural aspects into their Earth heritage interpretation.
