It is established what features are situational factors on the organizational culture implemented in the company. Corporate culture is formed under the influence of natural and directed factors. The first are the external environment in which the organization operates, including social norms, market and economic situation, the place of organization in society. The second group of factors that produce the company’s culture are purposeful actions of management and employees. Situational factors under the influence of which the corporate culture in business currently operates influence the behavior of both the individual employee and the team as a whole. In the most effective organizations, culture supports and promotes the goals and strategies of the company. Standards and expectations help employees work to achieve company success. It is also noted that for the maintenance and development of corporate culture in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, such components as corporate values, the role of leader and the brand of the employer are important. Corporate values, which are spelled out in internal documents and transmitted to employees on a periodic basis, form the company’s reputation. Leadership serves as a behavioral guideline in the activities of the company’s employees, allows to increase their productivity. The brand of the employer is an important factor that determines the external and internal image of the organization in the long run. It is suggested that in order to improve the existing or form a new corporate culture, the company should conduct a detailed analysis of changes in the organization, eliminate outdated practices that have lost their meaning and get feedback from employees on the main key elements of a new or improved corporate culture. Corporate culture management is an important element in the life of the company. Diagnosis of corporate culture allows you to determine the strength of the company’s culture, which, in turn, makes it possible to predict the stability of the company under the influence of external and internal destructive factors.

The Article presents an analysis of the role of the media sector in the structure created by the placement of tourist routes in the subjects of the Russian Federation. The sample size was 6000 routes in all federal districts of Russia. The problem of poor service provided by the hotel services in Russia is one of the major problems hindering the development of domestic tourism. Value for money and sometimes do not match. Part of the situation could have saved the increasing competition with the hotels listed in the international circuit, which created its own rules of corporate culture, high standards of service, clearly defined for each category of hotel (in terms of stardom). However, this does not justify a revision of its marketing strategy of independent hoteliers. It is also important to pay attention to accommodation, similar to hotels and other accommodation facilities. They are also well represented in the tourist market. According to the author, the low level of service in accommodation facilities is determined not so much by the reluctance of management to improve it, as the structure of demand from tourists and tour operators, to create a product. Most of the routes, which include the need to accommodate tourists, implemented on average, in the area the day — two. At the same time, tourists do not stay in accommodation facilities for a long time and continue your route on. This circumstance serves as an incentive to change the quality of services. Moreover, the article stipulates that personal and other accommodations are well represented in the routes of major federal districts like Central, Ural, Siberia, Far East. Accommodation in hotels more common routes in the North- West, Volga, the Crimea and North Caucasian Federal District. Accommodation facilities, in this case, are the operators of the individual passive format services. However, this strategy cannot be used by all players of the hospitality industry in all federal districts. The specificity of the regions and their remoteness from each other, the price level in the field must be limiting conditions in which hoteliers could develop. It is therefore proposed that the need to actively offer ideas own hiking tour operators or actively interact with them, attracting all new, including the unorganized tourist flows.

Most of the studies about value creation have been focused on economic and social value. To create value, it is necessary to have a holistic vision that integrates economical, psychological-social and ethical aspects. Likewise, studies have concentrated on the role of top management through the formulation of new strategies, implementation of new technologies, operational models, etc. The influence of supervisors, the first line of command, has not sufficiently been identified in relation to value creation. Some studies have analysed climate and culture as important factors for employees’ well-being, satisfaction and engagement but little attention has been paid to creating value. We analysed how supervisors strengthen climate and culture in order to create three types of value: ethical, social and economical. As value creation is a social event always co-created, we utilized an organizational model to present a holistic view for creating value. We collected data from 129 supervisors of large and medium companies through semi-structured interviews to know their perspectives related to: (a) creating employees’ experiences and (b) sharing corporate values. We identified the influence that supervisors exert in relation to climate experiences and corporate culture values, executed a programme for developing a leadership focused on creating value and applied a survey to verify the results achieved.

In this work, we find that the zero capital income tax result might not hold, even at the steady state, when the government discount rate differs from the individual one. As intuitive Pigouvian considerations would suggest, capital income should be taxed (subsidized) when the government is less (more) impatient than individuals are. However, a counterintuitive asymmetry emerges as for the steady state since, in the long run, capital income cannot be taxed because of the explosive distortionary effect of positive taxes. The asymmetry is ruled out with a logarithmic utility function because, in this case, the anticipated policy path does not affect current individual choices and thus the cumulative distortionary effect of taxes disappears.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a member of a family of heterodimeric glycoprotein hormones that have a common alpha subunit but differ in their hormone-specific beta subunit. Site-directed mutagenesis of the two asparagine-linked glycosylation sites of hCG alpha was used to study the function of the individual oligosaccharide chains in secretion and subunit assembly. Expression vectors for the alpha genes (wild-type and mutant) and the hCG beta gene were constructed and transfected into Chinese hamster ovary cells. Loss of the oligosaccharide at position 78 causes the mutant subunit to be degraded quickly and less than 20% is secreted. However, the presence of hCG beta stabilizes this mutant and allows approximately 45% of the subunit in the form of a dimer to exit the cell. Absence of carbohydrate at asparagine 52 does not perturb the stability or transport of the alpha subunit but does affect dimer secretion; under conditions where this mutant or hCG beta was in excess, less than 30% is secreted in the form of a dimer. Mutagenesis of both glycosylation sites affects monomer and dimer secretion but at levels intermediate between the single-site mutants. We conclude that there are site-specific functions of the hCG alpha asparagine-linked oligosaccharides with respect to the stability and assembly of hCG.

The article reveals the problem of making a decision on the design of a corporate uniform in the context of the contradictory requirements for uniformity of clothing for employees and the needs of participants in the dress code for self-expression. The combination of the above factors creates specificity in the assessment of uniform projects, since it becomes necessary to predict the stability of the dress code policy, the acceptance of its requirements by all interested parties. To solve this problem, a method is proposed for assessing the design decisions of a uniform from the standpoint of a balanced reflection in its design of the values of corporate culture and the possibilities of personal self-identification of participants in the dress code. The article considers an example of the development and testing of a semantic map, reflecting the probabilistic relationship of design parameters, in the assessment and refinement of models-proposals of a corporate uniform. The evaluation criteria presented in the semantic map format allow reflecting both the marketing role of the uniform in the promotion of the company′s services and the actual needs of the dress code participants identified during the expert discussions.

Insects play an important role in the stability of ecosystems by fulfilling key functions such as pollination and nutrient cycling, as well as acting as prey for amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. The global decline of insects is therefore a cause for concern, and the role of chemical pesticides must be examined carefully. The lethal effects of insecticides are well understood, but sub-lethal concentrations have not been studied in sufficient detail. We therefore used the western honeybee Apis mellifera as a model to test the effect of the neonicotinoid insecticide clothianidin on the movement, biosensory abilities and odor-dependent conditioning of insects, titrating from lethal to sub-lethal doses. Bees treated with sub-lethal doses showed no significant movement impairment compared to untreated control bees, but their ability to react to an aversive stimulus was inhibited. These results show that clothianidin is not only highly toxic to honeybees, but can, at lower doses, also disrupt the biosensory capabilities of survivors, probably reducing fitness at the individual level. In our study, sub-lethal doses of clothianidin altered the biosensory abilities of the honeybee; possible consequences at the colony level are discussed.
