The COVID-19 pandemic has led to online learning. The sudden learning process shift from offline to online causes new problems, including students’ difficulty in interacting during the learning process. The media used are usually only in the form of WhatsApp groups and emails which caused students to have difficulty understanding the lesson, limited learning resources and insufficient study time. One way to overcome this problem is to create a web-based physics e-module as an appropriate learning medium in this online learning period. The learning model used was discovery-based learning in order that students could find concepts independently. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a web-based e-module using a discovery-based learning model to increase student's interest and desire to learn. The development used in this research was 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This research was carried out until the development stage. At the development stage, the e-module validation was carried out by 4 experts as validators. The validation results obtained were 87.8% with very valid criteria. Meanwhile, the practicality of this web-based physics e-module was carried out on students and physics teachers of class XI MIPA 1 SMA N 2 Padang Panjang with percentages of 89.6%, respectively, with very practical criteria. To sum up, this web-based physics e-module using a discovery learning model on Newton's Law material was very valid and very practical to use.

Learning must be focus on creating conceptual change in students. One of the alternatives is using CCM-CCA-based learning devices because CCM-CCA is a learning model that can create cognitive conflict as a condition for conceptual change. This research is directed to develop learning devices based on CCM-CCA that can improve conceptual understanding. The learning devices developed to consist of LEU (Learning Events Units) and SW (Students’ Worksheet) for Newton's Law material about motion and work-energy. The results of the validation of learning devices (LEU and SW validation) indicate that these devices are valid in content and construction so that they are suitable for the learning process. Based on the results of the implementation of the device and the test results, it was concluded that the CCM-CCA-based learning device was able to improve conceptual understanding. The increase was obtained through an N-Gain analysis with an N-Gain value for LEU of 60.44% and SW of 54.01%. The percentage of the N-Gain score is included in the increase with the medium category.

In learning science, it is necessary to have a learning model that can integrate scientific literacy skills. This study aimed to develop discovery learning-based module to improve students’ scientific literacy. We used R & D research that adapts the 4-D model device development procedure, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Product assessment was carried out after revision stage I by 3 media experts, 3 material experts, and 1 SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti teacher. To determine student responses, the product was tested for feasibility and readability on 5 X grade students of SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti through a limited trial. The product was revised and tested again through a broad trial on 16 students. The revision through experts’ comments and students’ initial responses has affected the readability, feasibility, and usability of developed Newton’s Law module. There were no students who have high scientific literacy. Students who have low scientific literacy were 13 and students who have moderate scientific literacy were 3. It can be said that the module cannot significantly improve students’ scientific literacy because of online learning environment. Keywords: Discovery learning, Modul, Newton’s Law, Scientific literacy

The 2013 Curriculum emphasizes on active learning pattern. However, based on the questionnaire spread in junior high school 18 Padang, it was gotten the result that teachers still have difficulty in implementing it, especially in affective competence of confidence. The affective competence of confidence will encourage students to be active in learning process, both in asking questions and expressing opinion. In cooperative learning, students are provided a vehicle to increase their confidence through presenting their discussion result in front of the class. By considering this issue, there is an alternative solution that can be used by teacher, which is example non example method. This method is one of cooperative learning method. Besides that, it can support the implementation of scientific approach and discovery learning model in learning process. The scientific approach and discovery learning model are the approach and model recommended in the 2013 Curriculum. Purpose of the research was to know effect of example non example method in scientific approach and discovery learning model on students' affective competence. It was a quasi-experimental research.
