ABSTRAK   Latar Belakang: Anemia pada kehamilan memerlukan perhatian karena potensial membahayakan ibu dan anak. Anemia pada ibu hamil meningkatkan risiko kematian ibu. Tingginya kejadian anemia berkaitan dengan  kurangnya asupan zat besi, selain itu rendahnya pendidikan, dan  informasi. Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai merupakan salah satu puskesmas Pelayanan Obstetri Neonatal Emergensi Dasar (PONED) di Kota Palangka Raya dan jumlah ibu hamilnya mendapatkan tablet FE paling rendah. Tujuan : untuk menganalisis hubungan faktor asupan zat besi dan sosial ekonomi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai Metode: Jenis penelitian ini dengan  rancangan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Ibu yang hamil yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai berjumlah 140 responden. Pemilihan sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan consecutive sampling Analisis univariat dilakukan dengan distribusi frekuensi, analisis bivariat dengan chi-square. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan Variabel asupan zat besi ada hubungan bermakna dengan anemia(p=0,03).  Variabel sosio ekonomi (pendidikan Ibu (p=0,05), pendidikan suami (p=0,81), pekerjaan Ibu (p=0,40), pekerjaan suami (p=0,27) dan pendapatan keluarga (p=0,85)) tidak ada hubungan bermakna dengan anemia. Simpulan : asupan zat besi merupakan faktor risiko kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil.   Kata kunci: Anemia dalam kehamilan, Asupan Zat Besi, dan Ibu hamil     ABSTRACT   Background: Anemia occurance during pregancy emerges to put into consideration, since it potentially harmful for both mother and infant.  It is usually raise the risk of mother mortality. Highly occurance of anemia was suggested to related to especially for Iron (Fe). Moreover, it is was due to low educational level,and information. Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai is one of public health in Palangka Raya Municipality, on which has basic emergency obstectric-neonatal services, so-called PONED. There is also showed that the number of mother has a lower access to Fe tablet. Objective  : The study is to analyze the relationships between iron (Fe) consumption and social economic with anemia occurance durng preganancy in an area of Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai. Methods: Research is cross sectional design.  Sample was 140 pregnant women surrounding the Puskesmas Kereng Bangkirai. The sample was determined using consecutive sampling method. Univarate analysis was conducted using distribution of frequency, bivariate with chi-square analysis. Results: revealed that the Fe consumption (p=0.03) has significance relationship with anemia occurance. The socio-economic  (mother level of education (p=0.05), husband level of education (p=0.81), mother occupation (p=0.40), husband occupation (p=0.27), and family income (p=0.85). Conclusion: It is suggested,  that the Iron (Fe) consumption is the risks factor of anemia occurance during pregancy.   Keywords: anemia during pregnancy, the Iron (Fe) consumption, women pregnancy

Background: Toddler is an important period in child growth that will determine the future development. The accuracy of toddler feeding is affected by mother’s knowledge of nutrition, considering mother as the main food provider for family. Besides, nutrition intake of toddler could also affected nutritional status. Objectives: This study aimed to determine associated of mother’s nutrition knowledge and toddler’s nutrition intake with toddler’s nutritional status (WAZ) at the age 12-24 months. Methods: This study was an observational analytic research with cross-sectional design in Tambak Wedi Village, Kenjeran Sub District, Surabaya done in July 2017. The sample was 47 toddlers at the age of 12-24 months. The independent variables were mother’s characteristic (age, employment, education, family income), mother’s nutritional knowledge, and toddler’s nutrition intake (calories, carbohydrate, protein and fat). The dependent variable was toddler’s nutritional status. The data collected by interview used questionnaire such as 2x24 hours food recall for toddler’s intake nutrition, and weight measurement. Results: The result showed that most of respondents have good knowledge with normal nutritional status (81.8%) and respondents have less knowledge with unnormal nutritional status (92.9%). The result of chi square test showed that there was a relation between mother’s knowledge (p = 0.000), toddler’s calori (p = 0.008), carbohydrate (p = 0.024) and protein intake (p = 0.002). Meanwhile, there was no association between characteristic of motherand fat intake (p = 0.175) with nutritional status (WAZ). Conclusions: The conlusion of this study is toddler’s nutritional status influenced by mother’s knowledge about nutrition and toddler’s nutrition intake. Therefore, it is necessary to increase mother’s knowledge about nutrition through counseling and increase toddler’s nutrition intake (calories, carbohydrate and protein). ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Masa balita merupakan suatu periode penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak karena masa balita yang akan menentukan perkembangan anak di masa selanjutnya. Ketepatan pemberian makan pada balita dapat dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi karena ibu sebagai tombak dalam penyedia makanan untuk keluarga. Selain pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi, tingkat asupan makan balita juga dapat secara langsung mempengaruhi status gizi balita tersebut.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dan asupan makan balita dengan status gizi balita (BB/U) usia 12-24 bulan.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional dan dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tambak Wedi Kecamatan Kenjeran Kota Surabaya pada bulan Juli 2017. Sampel penelitian yaitu balita usia 12-24 bulan sebanyak 47 balita. Variabel independen yang diteliti adalah karakteristik ibu (usia, pekerjaan, pendidikan dan pendapatan keluarga), pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi, dan asupan makan balita (energi, karbohidrat, protein dan lemak). Variabel dependen yang diteliti adalah status gizi balita (BB/U). Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara dengan kuesioner recall 2x24 jam untuk mengetahui asupan makan balita dan pengukuran berat badan balita.Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu balita memiliki pengetahuan tentang gizi yang baik dengan status gizi balita normal (81,8%) dan yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang dengan status gizi balita tidak normal (92,9%). Hasil uji statistik chi square menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu (p = 0,000), asupan energi (p = 0,008), asupan karbohidrat (p = 0,024) dan asupan protein balita (p = 0,002) dengan status gizi balita (BB/U). Namun, tidak terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik ibu dan asupan lemak balita (p = 0,175) dengan status gizi balita (BB/U).Kesimpulan: Status gizi balita dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dan asupan makan balita (energi, karbohidrat dan protein). Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi melalui penyuluhan dan peningkatan asupan makan balita (energi, karbohidrat dan protein).

ABSTRACT Background: Based on RISKESDAS data from 2007, 2013, and 2018, the prevalence of injuries in Indonesia had increased from 7.5%, 8.2%, and 9.2% respectively. In 2018, the proportion of injuries ranked 12th place in morbidity in Indonesia with the highest cases in Central Sulawesi Province (13.8%). This study aimed to determine of injury inci­dents in the productive aged groups in Central Sulawesi. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional design conducted in Central Sulawesi from October 2019 to January 2020. A total of 1,323 reproductive-aged household mem­bers was selected by random sampling method. The dependent variable was the incident of injury. The independent variables were age, gender, level of education, employment status, and nutritional status. The data were collected from secondary data of basic health research data in 2018 with household dan individual questionnaires. Bivariate analysis was performed by chi-square method. Results: The bivariate analysis showed that the incidence of injury among the productive aged groups increased with age (OR= 1.50; 95% CI= 1.10 to 2.05; p= 0.021), gender (OR= 1.29; 95% CI= 1.03 to 1.62; p=0.030), level of education (OR= 2.01; 95% CI= 1.14 to 3.56; p= 0.010), employment status (OR= 1.86; 95% CI= 1.19 to 2.90; p= 0.005), and nutritional status (OR= 0.77; 95% CI= 0.55 to 1.07; p= 0.033). Conclusion: The incidence of injury among the productive aged groups increases with age, gender, level of education, employment status, and nutritional status. It is estimated that 60% of maternal mortality resulting from gestation happened right after giving birth, and 50% of puerperium deaths happened in the first 24 hours. This research aims to know the relation between the amount of bleeding, remaining placenta, and the act of episiotomy to puerperal sepsis cases. This research uses analytical description methods with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this research was the postpartum mothers in puerperal sepsis cases in October – December 2017 at RSAB Harapan Kita Jakarta Barat counted 85 persons. The sampling method used in this research is an accidental sampling method with 32 respondents. The Instruments of this research are medical records and questionnaires with the chi-square analysis method. This research data analysis has the quality of univariate and bivariate, which means knowing about the relation between the amount of bleeding, remaining placenta, and the act of episiotomy to puerperal sepsis cases. This research shows a relation between the amount of bleeding with a p-value (0,035) and OR (7,200). There is a relation between remained placenta variable with a p-value (0,035) and OR (7,200). There is no relation in the act of episiotomy variable with p-value (0,142) and OR (3,500) to puerperal sepsis cases. The researcher suggests RSAB Harapan Kita increase the quality of their health services, mainly socialize information and give education for maternity women about various birth complications, such as bleeding and remaining placenta and sepsis puerperalis's risks.

ABSTRACT Nurses in meeting spiritual service needs in patients are influenced by one of the factors namely spiritual intelligence. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between characteristics and nurse's spiritual intelligence by fulfilling the inpatient spiritual service needs in Banten Hospital in 2019. The study was conducted in Banten General Hospital in July-August 2019. This research was quantitative with a cross-sectional design by using a questionnaire as a primary data and using Chi-square test as the data analysis. The sample used all nurses in population with total sampling to 71 nurses. The results showed that respondents who fulfilled the needs of spiritual services were not as good as 37 respondents (52.1%). Bivariate results showed variables related to meeting spiritual service needs, namely the level of education (p value = 0.039), length of work (p value =0.042), and nurse spiritual intelligence (p value =0.022). Based on the results of this study it is suggested that there is a need for assistance or special mentors conducted by senior nurses to junior nurses (length of work ≤ 4 years). Because the results of this research prove that nurses who have a new length of work who have the opportunity to meet the needs of spiritual services are not good for patients. Background: It is undoubted if basic immunization has benefited immensely to child for over the years. Nevertheless there aresome parents who remains reluctant to immunize their children. This condition could be proved by the achievement of UCI (Universal Child Immunization) in 2015 in Klaten which involved 401 villages. There was only 90% of the total population who participated in this program. The Purpose: To analized the relationship between education level, work satus and mother's knowledge about basic immunization with the successness of giving basic immunization to babies. The Subjects: The study was observational analytic with cross sectional design. The population were all mothers who had infants aged 9-12 months in January-February 2018 in Wonosari District taken using total sampling technique. The data was then collected by using questionnaires. The results: Most of the infants were 11 months old (50%), most of mother were 25-35 years old (66.8%), most of the mother's education level was Senior High School (46.7%), most of the mother's knowledge about immunization was high (96.7%), the majority of mothers did not work (53.3%), most infants were fully immunized (96.7%). Chi Square analysis found that the correlation between education level and the successness of immunization in infant p=0.245, work relation with success of immunization giving to infant p=0.341, and relation of mother knowledge about basic immunization with successness immunization giving to infant p=0.000. The conclusion: There was no correlation between the level of education with the successness of immunization in infants (p=0.245), there was no relationship between work status with successness immunization in infants (p=0.341), and there was a statistically significant relationship between maternal knowledge of basic immunization with successness immunization in infants (p=0.000). Abstract: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a disease with high blood glucose level due to the inadequasy of insulin. Erectile dysfunction or inability to maintain an erection often occurs among males due to various factors. Males with DM have higher risk of erectile dysfunction compared to those without DM. This study was aimed to determine the relationship of the age of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patient and erectile dysfunction. This was an analytical survey study with a cross sectional design. Respondents were all patients with T2DM at the Endocrine Polyclinic of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado from October 2015 to January 2016. There were 38 respondents in this study; most had mild erectile dysfunction (36.8%). The Chi-square analysis showed a significant relationship (p<0.05) between the age of T2DM patients and erectile dysfunction. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the age of T2DM patients and erectile dysfunction. The older the patient, the more severe the erectile dysfunction.Keywords: diabetes mellitus, erectile dysfunction Abstrak: Diabetes melitus (DM) adalah penyakit dimana kadar glukosa dalam darah tinggi karena tubuh tidak dapat melepaskan atau menggunakan insulin secara adekuat. Disfungsi ereksi (DE) atau ketidakmampuan mempertahankan ereksi seringkali dialami oleh pria karena berbagai faktor. Laki-laki yang menyandang DM berisiko DE lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang tidak menyandang DM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan usia penyandang DMT2 dan tingkat DE. Jenis penelitian ialah survei analitik dengan desain potong lintang. Responden penelitian ialah semua pasien DMT2 di Poliklinik Endokrin periode Oktober 2015-Januari 2016. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan dari 38 responden, terbanyak yang mengalami DE ringan (36,8%). Berdasarkan analisis chi-square didapatkan hubungan bermakna (p <0,05) antara usia penyandang DMT2 dan DE. Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara usia penyandang DMT2 dan disfungsi ereksi. Semakin tinggi usia, semakin parah tingkat disfungsi ereksi yang terjadi.Kata kunci: diabetes mellitus, disfungsi ereksi

Abstract: Denture appliances is not just as a replacement for any kind of tooth loss but it is also a necessary to keep the hygiene and maintenance of the denture appliance, therefore, the denture appliances will not cause any bad effects on oral health. Knowledge of how to keep the denture appliance clean could be represented by a positive attitude through cleaning one’s denture appliance. This study was aimed to analyze the effect of education level on the maintenance efforts of denture appliances among denture users in Upai, North Kotamobagu.This was an analytical descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. Samples were obtained by using total sampling method. The instrument of this study was a valid and reliable questionnaire. Data were analyzed with the Chi-Square test. This study was conducted from February to August 2016. The results showed that 41.9% of the samples had moderate level of education; 47.1% had low education; and 11% had high education. In keeping their denture appliances clean, there were 74.2% that had moderate efforts; 13,6% had bad efforts; and 12.2% had good efforts. The Chi-square test showed a p value of 0.001 (p<0.05). Conclusion: Most of the denture users were low-level educated, however, most of them had moderate efforts in keeping their dentures clean.Keywords: education level of society, maintenance efforts of denture appliances. Abstrak: Penggunaan gigi tiruan tidak hanya sebatas penggantian gigi yang hilang tetapi harus memperhatikan pemeliharaan kebersihannya agar tidak berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan rongga mulut. Pengetahuan yang baik dari masyarakat akan membentuk sikap positif dan diwujudkan melalui tindakan pemeliharaan gigi tiruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pendidikan masyarakat terhadap upaya pemeliharaan gigi tiruan di Kelurahan Upai Kecamatan Kotamobagu Utara. Jenis penelitian ialah deskriptif analitik dengan desain potong lintang. Populasi penelitian yakni masyarakat pengguna gigi tiruan lepasan (GTL) di Kelurahan Upai Kecamatan Kotamobagu Utara sebanyak 155 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis hasil penelitian digunakan uji statistic Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 41,9% masyarakat kelurahan Upai memiliki tingkat pendidikan sedang, 47,1% memiliki tingkat pendidikan rendah, dan 11% memiliki tingkat pendidikan tinggi. Terdapat 74,2% memiliki upaya yang cukup dalam pemeliharaan gigi tiruan, 13,6% buruk, dan 12,2% baik. Hasil uji Chi Square mendapatkan p=0,001 (p<0,05). Simpulan:: Tingkat pendidikan masyarakat pengguna gigi tiruan umumnya tergolong rendah tetapi memiliki upaya yang cukup dalam pemeliharaan gigi tiruan. Juga terdapat pengaruh bermakna dari tingkat pendidikan masyarakat terhadap upaya pemeliharaan gigi tiruan. Kata kunci: tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, upaya pemeliharaan gigi tiruan.

ABSTRACT   This research aims to know the difference between snacking habit and nutritional status of catering and non-catering food consumer in SD-UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh as well as knowing the corelation between snacking habit and nutritional status in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh. This research used cross sectional design with thirty eight respondents were collected by Simple Random Sampling method. Snacking habit was obtained by using FFQ. The data were analyzed by using Chi-Square and Mann Whitney analysis. Univariate analysis showed that the snacking habit on catering food consumers was 28.5%, whereas on non-catering food consumers was 76.5%. Bivariate analysis result showed the difference between snacking (p= 0.004) and nutritional status ( p= 0.044) on catering and non-catering food consumers in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh. There was no corelation between snacking habit and the nutritional status in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh (p= 0,117) and ( p=0,142). There was difference in snacking habit and nutritional status on students who were catering and non-catering consumers in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh and there was no corelation between snacking habit and nutritional status in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh.  Key words: Snacking habit, Nutritional status, catering food, non-catering food.  ABSTRAK Kebiasaan mengonsumsi jajan dapat mempengaruhi status gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kebiasaan jajan dan status gizi anak sekolah pengguna katering dan non-katering serta mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan jajan terhadap status gizi di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional dengan 38 responden dengan metode Simple Random Sampling. Kebiasaan konsumsi jajan diperoleh menggunakan FFQ. Data di analisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil uji univariat menunjukkan bahwa pada anak sekolah pengguna katering kebiasaan jajan yaitu sebesar 28,5% sedangkan anak sekolah yang non-katering sebesar 76,5%. Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kebiasaan jajan ( p = 0,004) dan status gizi ( p= 0,044) pada anak sekolah pengguna katering dan non-katering di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan jajan terhadap status gizi di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh (p= 0,117) dan (p= 0,142). Stunted children will have normal cognitive ability if nutrition is improved. The rapid brain growth in the first 1,000 days of life means that children should not be malnourished. Stunting is generally caused by a lack of macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein, and fat) and micronutrients (calcium and zinc). The mobile application called stunting child nutrition (GiAS) has features that can detect stunting, monitor toddler growth, recommend daily menus for toddlers, nutritional adequacy rate (RDA) in 2019, and others. The purpose of this study was to make it easier to distinguish macronutrients, zinc, and calcium from stunting and non-stunting children aged 12–24 months using the GiAS android application. It is conducted at the Citeureup Community Health Center, Cimahi city, for June–July 2020. The sampling technique was a simple random sampling of 88 respondents. This type of research is an observational analytic with a statistical test is a cross-sectional design. The results of the study using the Mann-Whitney test showed differences in carbohydrates (84.99±26.31 vs 151.16±68.43, p=0.001), protein (30.81±11.03 vs 60.55±38.43, p=0.001), fat (32.80±15.39 vs 64.84±47.81, p=0.001), and calcium (0.55±0.40 vs 1.43±1.16, p=0.001) and there is similarity of zinc (0.005±0.004 vs 0.010±0.016, p=0.084) after 7 days of using the GiAS application between stunting and non-stunting children. The probability value <0.05 means that the application can compare macronutrients, zinc, and calcium between stunted and non-stunted children on the 7th day. Chi-square analysis showed an increase in children's weight and height under five at two weeks and one month (p=0.001). In conclusion, the comparison of macronutrients, zinc, calcium in stunting and non-stunting children aged 12–24 months can be differentiated using the GiAS application. APLIKASI GIZI ANAK STUNTING (GIAS) BERBASIS ANDROID UNTUK MENILAI ZAT GIZI MAKRO, ZINC, DAN KALSIUM PADA ANAK STUNTING DAN NON-STUNTINGAnak stunting akan memiliki kognitif yang normal jika dilakukan perbaikan gizi yang optimal. Pertumbuhan otak yang pesat di 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan menjadikan anak tidak boleh kekurangan nutrisi. Stunting umumnya kekurangan zat gizi makro (karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak) serta zat gizi mikro (kalsium dan zinc). Aplikasi mobile bernama gizi anak stunting (GiAS) memiliki fitur yang dapat mendeteksi stunting, memantau pertumbuhan balita, merekomendasikan menu harian untuk balita, angka kecukupan gizi (AKG) tahun 2019, dan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah kemudahan membedakan zat gizi makro, zinc, dan kalsium anak stunting dengan non-stunting usia 12–24 bulan menggunakan aplikasi android GiAS di Puskesmas Citeureup Kota Cimahi periode Juni–Juli 2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simpel random sampling sebanyak 88 responden. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan uji statistik adalah desain cross-sectional (α=0,05). Hasil penelitian  menggunakan Uji Mann-Whitney terdapat perbedaan karbohidrat (84,99±26,31 vs 151,16±68,43; p=0,001), protein (30,81±11,03 vs 60,55±38,43; p=0,001), lemak (32,80±15,39 vs 64,84±47,81; p=0,001), dan kalsium (0,55±0,40 vs 1,43±1,16; p=0,001) serta ada persamaan zinc (0,005±0,004 vs 0,010±0,016; p=0,084) sesudah 7 hari penggunaan aplikasi GiAS antara anak stunting dan non-stunting. Nilai probabilitas <0,05 berarti aplikasi dapat membandingkan zat gizi makro, zinc, dan kalsium antara anak stunting dan non-stunting pada hari ke-7. Analisis chi-square terlihat peningkatan berat badan dan tinggi badan balita pada 2 minggu dan 1 bulan (p=0,001). Simpulan, komparasi zat gizi makro, zinc, kalsium anak stunting dan non-stunting usia 12–24 bulan dapat dibedakan menggunakan aplikasi GiAS.

Dental and oral hygiene problem is the leading cause of daily activities disruption in children such as missing school, bad learning concentration, appetite and nutritional intake. Knowledge of dental and oral hygiene should be given at early age in family by the parents. The aim of our work was to determine relationship between parents’ knowledge and dental hygiene of the SDLB children (children with special needs). We undertook this research with analytical survey. A cross-sectional design was carried out. The sampling method was total sampling namely parents of children with special needs and the children as many as 80 people. Chi-Square test was performed to analyze the data. The results show that the knowledge of parents about dental and oral hygiene is not good (85%), while the dental and oral hygiene in children with special needs is poor (85%). Based on the Chi-Square Test, it produces a p-value of sig (2-sided) = 0.002 in the test, so it can obtain a p-value (probability value) from the test (p = 0.002 = 0.05) so that Ho is rejected. In conclusion, a relationship between parental knowledge and oral hygiene in children with special needs does exist.
