Abstractlearning process  good teaching  can create a situation that allows children to learn, so that is the starting point of the success of teaching. The low quality of education depends on the management of the teaching and learning process which can be interpreted as being less effective in the teaching and learning process, the causes: (1) Low learning activities, (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The case in Solok City Middle School, the low level of student learning activities allegedly influenced the low student learning outcomes. Based on observations on class VIII A which included the superior class had not yet achieved the desired completeness, the class with the least completeness was class VIII B which was 33.33% with KKM 65 criteria. Seeing this reality, teachers were required to motivate students and foster enthusiasm student learning. Therefore, to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, the author tries to apply student learning activities through discussion methods in small groups. To learn a lesson well, we need to hear, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. Not only that, teachers need to "do it", that is to describe something in their own way, to show their example, to try to practice their skills and to do tasks that demand the knowledge they have gained. Problems to be studied in this research are: Does using STAD cooperative model can improve the learning result of mathematics? Steps taken in using the STAD cooperative model.           The place of study is the place used in conducting research to obtain the desired data. This research took place at SD Negeri 08 Koto Berapak, Bayang District. The time of study is the time of the research or when the research is held. This study was conducted in the academic year 2017.         The subjects of the study were the students of the second grade of SD Negeri 08 Koto Berapak, Bayang District, in the year of 2017 on the subject of mathematics. This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). According to the PGSM Project Trainers Team, the TOD is a reflective form of study by actors undertaken to enhance the rational stability of their actions in performing their duties, deepening their understanding of the actions, and improving the conditions under which the learning practices are conducted (in Mukhlis, 2000: 3). Meanwhile, according to Mukhlis (2000: 5) PTK is a form of review that is systematic reflective by the actors to improve the learning conditions undertaken. The main purpose of PTK is to improve / improve the learning pratek on an ongoing basis, while the purpose of inclusion is to grow a culture of research among teachers            That is a set of plans and arrangements about classroom learning activities, as well as assessment of learning outcomes. It is a learning tool used as teacher's guidance in teaching and composed for each round. Each RP contains basic competencies, indicators of achievement of learning outcomes, specific learning objectives, and teaching and learning activities.            The results of data analysis and discussion can show some of the progress achieved during learning either through classical learning, cooperative STAD model, playing quiz, or learning outcomes. So the results of this class action research can be drawn conclusions as follows: 1. Learning STAD cooperative model can encourage students to learn about math more excited, improve learning process, and learning outcomes. 2. Playing quiz can encourage students to learn about math to be more passionate, improve learning process, and learning outcomes.             Some other findings obtained are the emergence of student creativity in making questions and answers, the number of questions posed by students, the responsibility of completing the task, the loss of boredom, even students prefer to complete the task rather than rest.

IPS learning process that occurs at SDN II Kemloko 2nd grade class has not been achieved its satisfactory. This is due to the way the teachers teach which is still in mediocre level, in a way of providing the students with interesting learning method and interesting models that may make students happy to follow the learning activities. By the result, the students’ learning outcomes for the 2nd grade class at SDN II Kemloko still below the pre-determined score, commonly known as KKM. In order to make this condition better, the researchers are triggered to conduct a research by implementing a Class Action Research (PTK), by referring to a research model raised by Thursday and Mc. Taggart. That research model proposes 4 important stages, which are (1) preparation / planning, (2) implementation of the action, (3) observation / observation, (4) reflection. In this classroom action research, the researchers implement a learning model, which is Make a Match. Afterwards, the result shows that the 2nd grade students can experience learning outcome. It turned out that after using this model of Make a Match, there is a significant improvement. The results obtained from cycle 1 portraying a number of 17 students shows that there are 9 students who successfully accomplish the task, which is equivalent with 52.94%, and the rest of the students, which are 8 students, are not able to accomplish the task, equivalent with 47.06%. Further, the second cycle presents that the students who pass the results are 10 students with a percentage of 58.82%, while the unaccomplished ones are 7 students with a percentage of 41.18%. According to the results, the result shows that the accomplished number of students is above the average. It is strongly suggested that others may implement the learning model of Make a Match, particularly teachers.

The concept of chemistry is difficult and complicated because it is abstract. Students are encouraged to have a religious mindset. The current learning process in chemistry subjects is still teacher-centered. Different students' understanding needs to be addressed. Therefore, low-ability students can not understand the concepts; consequently the students' learning outcomes and mindset are less religious while learning chemistry. An effort for students to think religiously and improve student learning outcomes is through the use of learning methods and adequate learning resources to improve learning activities and students more active in the learning process. This problem can be solved by developing the 'religious character' of students through the application of Context Rich Problems. This research is PTK (class action) with qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted in MA Nahdlatus Shaufiah Wanasaba. Sampling using simple technique. The sample of the research is the students of class X. The results show that, the religious character and learning outcomes from cycle to cycle have increased. The average score of the students' religious characters in the first cycle was 66.67% and the second cycle was 94.63%. The completeness of each learning outcomes in the first cycle is 44.44% and cycle II is 92.59%. We conclude that the development of the religious character of the students through the application of integrated Context Rich Problems can be used as an alternative to enhance the ability of religious character and student learning outcomes.
