The article presents issues related to the study of the triad of «ethno music, ethnophor, ethnographer» in the axiological aspect. Their research is updated in connection with the consideration of the trinity of «ethno music, ethnophor, ethnographer» in the global world from the point of view of the spiritual and cultural values of the Kazakh people aimed to increase their importance in modern society. The necessity of theoretical understanding of the problem «ethno ear» («auditory abilities of the ethnos») is revealed - which is a common «tool» in the trinity of the concepts of ethno music, ethnophor and ethnographer, which is the rationale for such important moments related to national identity as «intonation specificity», «culture of listening / listening», « memorizing skills», «ways of articulation», etc. It is emphasized that in the course of analyzing the genres that form the basis of ethno music, it is advisable to re-examine the contribution of outstanding personalities – those people who have managed to transmit them to the present day, and those who have been able to record them. Moreover, not considering the examples, methods of upbringing, lifestyle and worldview, customs and traditions of the ancestors only as a shady of images of the distant past or book values, but working to ensure their real «return» to everyday life through the firm fixation in the minds of the younger generations. Thanks to this, one can awaken the respect for the national cultural heritage in young people. In the course of the development of these issues by genre directions, the works of domestic researchers, scientists from foreign and CIS countries were taken into account. The main theses of the article can serve in the future as a guide and necessary support for students of traditional music, secondary specialized and higher educational institutions, Master, PhD students and teachers.

The article analyzes how important traditions and value orientations are as influencing factors in the work carried out on the basis of the "Rukhani Zhagyru" program. Guided by the theoretical foundations of renewal, the authors focused on the originality of renewal in the conditions of modern Kazakhstan and describe the impact of various historical changes of the last century on the consciousness of modern society. It is important that the traditions and values which are important in the course of spiritual modernization were formed in accordance with the national consciousness and proceeded from the sources of spirituality of the Kazakh people of the past epochs. Only guided by such a position, Kazakh society can give birth to systemic cultural values, combining genuine renewal with spiritual revival. It is important to characterize the possibility of renewal of national values from the cultural and anthropological point of view and consider the importance of the place of historical sources and national literary relics in their socio-philosophical substantiation. At the same time, the focus on the issues of implementation of the state programme, its beneficial impact and the importance of considering national values in the modernization of the cultural sphere increases the value of scientific concepts related to spiritual modernization.

The article is devoted to the study of social dance as a phenomenon of modern dance practice. It is emphasized that in modern culture there is an increase in interest in social dance, which necessitates a theoretical understanding of this phenomenon in particular and dance culture in general from the standpoint of modern science, because at the moment its level does not correspond to the degree of practical interest in social dance. It is stated that for most world civilizations, dance in general and social dance in particular, is one of the most important expressions of their worldview, which represents both historical and contemporary cultural values. And forms of movement illuminate and define gender, shape personal and group identity, and reflect and define political and religious status and aesthetic values. Thanks to advances in the media, social dance is now one of the most popular pastimes in the world, combining dance forms of past centuries with new ones, such as hip-hop and contact improvisations. The study found that the phenomenon of social dance in the context of dance practice in the XXI century. is an organic combination of elements of various areas of dance culture with the culture of modern society, as well as the promotion of philosophical and ideological paradigm of freedom of movement and communication in dance.

In this article the author attempts to clarify the meaning and essence of the terms autochthonous and authentic folk musical instrument, which is of exceptional importance for explaining the process of formation of the national instrumental tradition, in particular its collective forms under consideration, on the example of the musical folk-instrumental culture of the Carpathian folklore tradition. Іn particular, the status of the study of selected issues in recent studies and publications is analyzed; a comparative analysis was carried out of the dictionary definitions of the terms autochthonous and authentic; their semantics is substantiated in defining the term "Ukrainian folk musical instrument". Significant contribution to the study of the problem theoretical understanding of the semantics of the terms "autochthonous" and "authentic" in the definition of "Ukrainian folk musical instrument" became the works of V.Dutchak, I.Zinkіv, M.Imkhanitsky, I. Matsievsky, Ya. Pavliv, M. Stankiewich, N. Suprun-Yaremko, M. Khay, L. Cherkasky, B. Yaremko. The term "autochthonous" is explained as a local, indigenous one, which makes it possible to distinguish those traditional instruments that originated in the studied territory and became important in the creation of folk-instrumental culture of the ethnic groups of the Carpathian region. Also autochthonous are those instruments (archeological "fossils" and those preserved in Ukrainian "musical" iconography) that have existed since ancient times in our country. The main criteria of "authentic" determine the originality and rootedness of folk musical instruments in this territory. In our opinion, the terms "autochthonous" and "authentic" are fundamental in defining the concept of "Ukrainian folk musical instrument". After all, nowadays, academic folk instruments function in the musical educational institutions of Ukraine and, at the same time, in the national environment to perform traditional music.

The article is devoted to the issue of an understanding of a person's way of life through the prism of perception of Aristotle's ethical teachings as an important element of human culture, expressed in the virtuous attitude of people to the world. The presented article reveals the key aspects of virtue in the "Aristotelian" sense and the understanding of the correctness of human actions by the ancient philosopher. As the main value and moral guideline, the scale of virtuous knowledge developed by Aristotle is considered, where virtue itself is the "golden mean", and extremes (vices) are found on different sides of the latter. This work reflects the views of the ancient philosopher on human virtue. He considers the right actions of a person from the point of view of conscious moderation and reasonable prudence in their commission while rejecting the desire to help a person at any cost, as the basis of the measure virtue. Aristotle sees the achievement of "happiness" as the main goal of human behavior. But a feeling of satisfaction from the blissful state should not be expressed as a result of neglect of the moral principles of society but rather through personal growth, achieved through self-improvement, self-restraint, and detachment from attachment to the benefits of the outside world. According to Aristotle, sensory pleasures are achieved not by striving to achieve a comfortable existence in any way but by sensible and moderate motives of a person to feel genuine pleasure through the right actions. It is noted that the Aristotelian doctrine of virtue requires its theoretical understanding and analysis within the framework of the ethics of virtue, which claims to be the practical application of its results in modern society.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic features of the names of buildings, roads and landscapes in Chinese educational institutions. The analysis is carried out from the point of view of the provisions of axiological linguistics in order to identify values expressed in language and texts. In the analysis of speech material, the author concludes that the names of buildings, roads and landscapes in Chinese colleges and universities have a linguistic identity that reflects certain cultural characteristics of China and its rich historical heritage. The names that are the symbol of the educational institution are used not only to distinguish it from others, in particular its concepts and characteristics of management, its history, cultural heritage and spiritual atmosphere, but also to explain and convey cultural values, create a cultural atmosphere and improve the humanistic consciousness of teachers and students.

Background. Goals In recent years, there is a growing interest in musical thinking, which is a key element of musicology and music philosophy, since music is a conscious, mental activity of a person and understanding the mechanisms of this activity, we can signifi cantly expand and deepen our understanding of music. The purpose of this study is to defi ne and supplement and clarify the concept of M. G. Aranovsky musical thinking our author’s approach, concretizing and clarifying the methodological and heuristic function of symmetry in musical thinking and its anthropological content. The work uses methods of comparison, analysis and synthesis. Musical thinking manifests itself in three forms of basic musical activity - composing, performing, listening, to which we also add theoretical (research) and pedagogical They are based on the processes of musical thinking and the fulfi llment of certain goals: the creation of an artifact, interpretation, reproduction, perception, analysis and theoretical understanding. The three spheres of realization of musical thinking are emotional-sensual, rational-logical and textual, semantic. These forms are closely intertwined and function on the basis of musical language, which is the foundation of any musical creative activity. The direct interaction of music and rationality is displayed in terms of “musical logic” and “architectonic musical ear”. Logic is the science of the most common laws of thought. These laws of thinking are expressed in the most abstract forms, patterns, rules that can be interpreted as conformity of something to specifi c norms, patterns. With regard to music, logic implies following certain standards and rules. Since the rational principle in music is closely associated with the irrational unconscious, the common logical norms that have been formed in a certain historical epoch within the framework of the dominant system of musical language are refracted through the individual stylistic features of the composer. A specifi c type of thinking - musical - generates the corresponding type of logic. Therefore, it is possible to express musical thinking by the sum of concepts - musical logic, musical speech and semantics of musical speech. M. G. Aranovsky identifi es four layers of musical logic: combinatorial, linguistic, contextual and artistic, i.e. those aspects (levels, edges) of the creative activity of a musician, in which there is logic. The lowest and at the same time fundamental level of musical logic is combinatorial, it is the sphere of primary elementary logical combinations of the simplest elements. However, the logic of this level extends to all scales of structures, from small motive links to sections of a one-part form. M. G. Aranovsky proposes to distinguish three types of logical combinations: 1. Identical - based on a constant repetition of structural units, where the formed elements are identical with each other (for example, AAAAAA). In terms of symmetry, this is a transformation of a simple movement along the time axis. It can again be noted as the simplest type of isomorphism, where only one characteristic changes - temporary. If we exclude it from consideration, then we can say that this is a “degenerate case” of isomorphism, which is an automorphism. 2. Equivalent - based on the modifi ed version of the repetition, in which there are both similarities and differences, i.e. incomplete identity is formed (for example, A1A2A3A4). From the point of view of symmetry, this combination of sequences represents the “unity” of the operation of symmetry, movement and violation of symmetry as such, i.e. in this sequence, some properties are repeated, while others change. This temporal process can be represented as isomorphism in the proper sense of the word, when some elements remain identical, while others change, and in general the objects are different, but similar. 3. Alternative - a combination of sequences of different units with complete exclusion of formal or obvious similarity (for example, ABC). Through symmetric transformations, this kind of logical combinations of primary elements can be described as an even greater symmetry violation, which preserves only the general “sequence of elements”, i.e. a small number of common properties, while these elements themselves are significantly different from each other. In this case, one can speak of a deep “transformation” of isomorphism, which can be called “metamorphism” (gr. Metamorphoómai - transformation of form). The basis of this transformation is a violation of the original symmetry in such a way that much more properties change than in the case of isomorphism. It can be schematically represented as A1 → B, A2 → C, etc. Thus, metamorphism can be considered both as a similarity, which has undergone a rather strong transformation, and as a symmetry violation, leading to a signifi cant complication of the structure. Thus, the result of this study is the position that, from the point of view of M. G. Aranowsky, the temporal process is the basis of musical thinking. The built-up chain “temporal process → musical logic → musical thinking” is the anthropological specifi city of human thought (in the musical sphere) associated with temporal processes in which a person is “immersed” and from which he cannot “exit” under any circumstances. Findings. we conclude that this chain can be called the “temporal-anthropological triad”. It represents the sequence “automorphism → isomorphism → metamorphism”. Each of its stages is different from the previous increase in the level of complexity. Of particular interest is the transition from isomorphism to metamorphism, since it is associated with the process of symmetry breaking. The mechanisms and principles of this disorder need further investigation.

The present paper aims at exploration of Shauna Singh Baldwin’s specific technique implemented to present women predicament in selected stories from feministic point of view. The feministic point of view has developed out of a movement for equal rights and chances for women society. The present search is based on analytical and interpretative methods. Shauna Singh Baldwin is a writer of short fiction, poetry, novels and essays. Her ‘English Lessons and Other Stories’ explores the predicament of earlier neglected women of Sikh community by putting them in the context of globalization, immigration to West and consumerism at Indian modern society. “Montreal 1962” presents a Sikh wife’s attachment, love, determination, struggles and readiness to do anything for survival in Canada where her husband is threatened to remove his turban and cut his hair short to get the job. “Simran” presents the story of sacrifice of individual desire by a young Sikh girl because of her mother’s fundamentalist attitude. The title of story “English Lessons” presents injustice to an Indian woman who has married to an American, who compels her to become a prostitute and a source of his earnings in the States. The fourth selected story “Jassie” tells us about the timely need of religious tolerance in the file of an Indian immigrant old woman. Being a feminist writer, though Baldwin has never claimed directly to be, she has very skillfully presented the issues of feminism through her own technique of presentation. She has used technique of presenting absence or opposite to highlight it indirectly. Thus, true to her technique, though not explicitly declared, Baldwin is one of the feminist writers who skillfully deals with feminine concerns.

In this article, the authors comprehend the moral and ethical phenomenon of "Adyge habz the problems of its preservation and development in modern society in the context of globalization. The study of traditions is undoubtedly relevant in modern conditions, when many ethnic groups persistently retain interest in past values, their origins and prospects. The authors note that this problem is relevant not only for the Adygs, but also for other peoples of the North Caucasus, which have their own analogues of national moral and ethical codes. Based on the results of the conducted sociological research, it is concluded that the role of Adyghism (adygag) in the system of traditional ethno-cultural values of the Adyghes has decreased, and therefore there is a need to revive and develop the national identity of the Adyghes.

Proverbs are important data depicting the traditional culture of each nation. Vietnamese proverbs, dated thousands of years ago, are an immense valuable treasure of experience which the Vietnamese people desire to pass to the younger generations. This paper aims to explore the unique and diversified world of intelligence and spirits of the Vietnamese through a condensed and special literary genre, as well as a traditional value of the nation (Nguyen Xuan Kinh 2013, Tran Ngoc Them 1996, Le Chi Que and Ngo Thi Thanh Quy 2014). Through an interdisciplinary approach, from an anthropological point of view, approaching proverbs we will open up a vast treasure of knowledge and culture of all Vietnamese generations. The study has examined over 16,000 Vietnamese proverbs and analysed three groups expressing Vietnamese people’s behaviors toward nature, society and their selves, and compared them with English and Japanese proverbs. The research has attempted to explore the beauty of Vietnamese language, cultural values and the souls and personalities of Vietnam. Approaching Vietnamese proverbs under the interdisciplinary perspective of language, culture and literature is a new research direction in the field of Social Sciences and Humanity in Vietnam. From these viewpoints, it is seen that proverbs have remarkably contributed to the language and culture of Vietnam as well as and constructed to the practice of language use in everyday life which is imaginary, meaningful and effective in communication. Furthermore, the study seeks to inspire the Vietnamese youth’s pride in national identity and to encourage their preservation and promotion for traditional values of the nation in the context of integration and globalisation. In the meantime, it would be favourable to introduce and market the beauty of Vietnamese language, culture and people to the world, encouraging the speakers of other languages to study, explore and understand Vietnam.

The main direction of the educational process is to develop the education system in accordance with the strategic directions of social and economic development of the republic, integrating it into the world educational space, preserving its national essence through the use of national customs and traditions, as well as cultural values, creating conditions for the formation of a personality in the national spirit, development of a high level of outlook and creative potential of the personality, cognitive competences. The implementation of these tasks requires a review of the content of the educational process in the country's schools from a new methodological standpoint, based on the use of elements of national customs and traditions. Such a new methodological system shows the need for radical changes in the traditional educational process, the development of a creative approach to teaching, and the updating of the content of education on a national basis. In the modern period of the development of society in the educational process of educational institutions the principle of education is implemented, taking into account the comprehensive development of students, such a system of education and upbringing provides an opportunity for the formation of cultural and ethnic identity, it is aimed at an in-depth study of the spiritual culture of the people and the ability to connect it with modern values. This system of education and training is based on the link between national customs and traditions (customs and traditions related to children's upbringing, household customs and traditions, social customs and traditions) and the educational process.
