Research on the intelligent construction of prefabricated building and personnel training based on BIM5D

With the promotion of BIM Technology, prefabricated building is developed rapidly in China. However, BIM technology has been only partially applied to prefabricated building, and there is still a gap between prefabricated building and intelligent construction. This paper focus on BIM 5D, together with relevant information technologies, all of which will be highly integrated and applied to prefabricated building, with the mission to get related information and enable the rapid flow of information, as well as bringing human perception, memory, knowledge and wisdom into prefabricated building, driving the development of prefabricated buildings to intelligence and leanness. Intelligent construction is an innovated construction model based on the combination of latest information technology and engineering construction. Thus, it is particularly important to train personnel with corresponding knowledge structure, knowledge system and professional ability for intelligent construction. This paper also discusses about how to train personnel on prefabricated building and intelligent construction.

Modern information technologies enable information systems to record the changing history of information units, and then play back such histories under users requests. This paper proposes a scenario paradigm equipped with a scenario-oriented approach to support the idea of replaying day-to-day activities. The proposed method attempts to organize related information and knowledge elements as a context (scenario) so that the history of daily activities can be recorded, and then be queried and replayed as a flow of information scenarios for a specified interval of time. Thats Your Life Information System (TYLI) is employed as an example in this paper for evaluating the usability of the scenario paradigm and the scenario-oriented approach.

Abstract Managing large collections of documents is an important problem for many areas of science, industry, and culture. Probabilistic topic modeling offers a promising solution. Topic modeling is an unsupervised machine learning method and the evaluation of this model is an interesting problem on its own. Topic interpretability measures have been developed in recent years as a more natural option for topic quality evaluation, emulating human perception of coherence with word sets correlation scores. In this paper, we show experimental evidence of the improvement of topic coherence score by restricting the training corpus to that of relevant information in the document obtained by Entity Recognition. We experiment with job advertisement data and find that with this approach topic models improve interpretability in about 40 percentage points on average. Our analysis reveals as well that using the extracted text chunks, some redundant topics are joined while others are split into more skill-specific topics. Fine-grained topics observed in models using the whole text are preserved.

Working memory (WM)-based decision making depends on a number of cognitive control processes that control the flow of information into and out of WM and ensure that only relevant information is held active in WM’s limited-capacity store. Although necessary for successful decision making, recent work has shown that these control processes impose performance costs on both the speed and accuracy of WM-based decisions. Using the reference-back task as a benchmark measure of WM control, we conducted evidence accumulation modeling to test several competing explanations for six benchmark empirical performance costs. Costs were driven by a combination of processes, running outside of the decision stage (longer non-decision time) and showing the inhibition of the prepotent response (lower drift rates) in trials requiring WM control. Individuals also set more cautious response thresholds when expecting to update WM with new information versus maintain existing information. We discuss the promise of this approach for understanding cognitive control in WM-based decision making.

Disgust is a core emotion evolved to detect and avoid the ingestion of poisonous food as well as the contact with pathogens and other harmful agents. Previous research has shown that multisensory presentation of olfactory and visual information may strengthen the processing of disgust-relevant information. However, it is not known whether these findings extend to dynamic facial stimuli that changes from neutral to emotionally expressive, or if individual differences in trait body odor disgust may influence the processing of disgust-related information. In this preregistered study, we tested whether a classification of dynamic facial expressions as happy or disgusted, and an emotional evaluation of these facial expressions, would be affected by individual differences in body odor disgust sensitivity, and by exposure to a sweat-like, negatively valenced odor (valeric acid), as compared with a soap-like, positively valenced odor (lilac essence) or a no-odor control. Using Bayesian hypothesis testing, we found evidence that odors do not affect recognition of emotion in dynamic faces even when body odor disgust sensitivity was used as moderator. However, an exploratory analysis suggested that an unpleasant odor context may cause faster RTs for faces, independent of their emotional expression. Our results further our understanding of the scope and limits of odor effects on facial perception affect and suggest further studies should focus on reproducibility, specifying experimental circumstances where odor effects on facial expressions may be present versus absent.

Второе направление - повсеместное и поэтапное внедрение в медицину информационных технологий. С болью в спине могут столкнуться люди не только пожилого возраста, но и подростки и даже грудные дети. Боль эта может быть вызвана многими причинами: как усталостью, так и всевозможными заболеваниями, которые могли развиться со временем или быть от рождения. По данным статистики ВОЗ, 80% населения страдает клиническими проявлениями остеохондроза позвоночника. В Российской Федерации большая часть амбулаторного приема неврологов и ортопедов занимают болезни позвоночника. Зачастую эксперту сложно однозначно оценить объект по некоторому критерию, возникают сомнения и поиски усредненной оценки. Но нередко затруднения в точном определении значения возникают не из-за недостатка опыта, а как раз, наоборот, из-за интуитивного понимания размытости оценки. Излишняя точность понятия может привести к потере части наилучших альтернатив или неправильному их ранжированию, если таковое применяется. Поэтому возникает необходимость разработки все более гибких по отношению к человеческому восприятию информации методов, позволяющих учитывать неопределенность все в большем количестве измерений. Целью данной работы является изучение методов, позволяющих с большой точностью определить заболевание позвоночника по некоторым жалобам пациента. Задачами работы являются выбор методов для просчета альтернатив, выбор критериев для альтернатив, и собственно, сами расчеты по выбранным методам Modern medicine has two priority areas of development. The first direction is the creation of the latest drugs, as well as the development of vaccines against new viruses. The second direction is the widespread and gradual introduction of information technologies into medicine. Back pain can be experienced not only by the elderly, but also by adolescents and even infants. This pain can be caused by many reasons: both fatigue and all kinds of diseases that could develop over time or be from birth. According to WHO statistics, 80% of the population suffers from clinical manifestations of osteochondrosis of the spine. In the Russian Federation, most of the outpatient visits to neurologists and orthopedists are spinal diseases. It is often difficult for an expert to unambiguously evaluate an object according to some criterion; doubts arise and searches for an average assessment. But often difficulties in accurately determining the meaning arise not because of a lack of experience, but, on the contrary, because of the intuitive understanding of the fuzziness of the assessment. Excessive precision of the concept can lead to the loss of some of the best alternatives or their incorrect ranking, if applicable. Therefore, there is a need to develop more and more flexible methods in relation to human perception of information, allowing to take into account the uncertainty in more and more dimensions. The aim of this work is to study methods that allow to determine with great accuracy the disease of the spine based on some of the patient's complaints. The tasks of the work are the choice of methods for calculating alternatives, the choice of criteria for alternatives, and, in fact, the calculations themselves according to the selected methods

The paper is based on the use of WhatsApp in sharing of livestock related information among the farmers. A WhatsApp group of randomly selected 96 farmers from eight different districts of the Himachal Pradesh, India was created under the study. In a period of six months, information was shared in multiple forms among the farmers. A total of 62 queries during six months to seek information and advice on various livestock related problems were posted by the farmers. Maximum number of queries pertained to animal health followed by animal breeding, feeding, government programmes and dairy processing .The livestock extension agencies have the opportunity to explore and develop relevant information which can be disseminated through WhatsApp to the farmers.

The article deals with the problem of selecting efficient ships by the feasibility study in which brake power, main dimensions, payload, speed and fuel consumption are determined. The necessity of using the proposed selection at the initial stage of the ship's design is justified; the problems that arise at the present time are denoted. The purpose of the article is to propose a criterion for the selection of efficient vessels, "tied" to the operating conditions, based on the marginal cost of the ship. A method for its determination is presented. At the same time, annual revenues and operating costs should be determined by modern methods of business planning for the operation of the fleet. When searching for the parameters of the ship, the optimal fuel consumption is determined. The rest of the costs can be found according to the coefficients "tied" to the fuel consumption and calculated on the basis of existing prototypes. The results of calculations by the proposed method are shown; its merits and opportunities for improvement are noted with the availability of relevant information. The conclusion is made about the convenience and applicability of the proposed option for selecting efficient ship for the feasibility study based on optimization methods for determining the parameters of vessels under conditions of a high level of use of information technologies.

The global crisis in Climate Change (CC) requires Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) Information and Technologies (CSAITs) to address it. Mobile Phone Applications (MPAs) among other ICTs could be veritable tools for enhancing job performance of field staff by facilitating their generation and dissemination of relevant information to adapt, cope with and mitigate the effects of CC. This study examined access and dissemination of CSAITs using MPAs by field staff in Edo State Agricultural Development Programme (ADP). Specifically, it described the socio-economic characteristics, access and dissemination of CSA-related information, use of MPAs for CSAITs and the constraints to usage of MPAs among field workers. Data were collected from the 120 field staff comprising 78 Field Extension Workers and 42 Enumerators of Edo State Agricultural Development Programme (ADP), Nigeria. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). Results show that 55.8% of respondents were males and 40.8% were between 41-50 years of age, 54.2% were HND/B.Sc holders and 50.8% had between 11-20years working experience. The CSAITs mostly accessed (≥50%) using MPAs include irrigation and “fadama” farming, weather forecasts and zero or minimal tillage and non-burning while CSAITs mostly disseminated include manure application, mulching, and timely harvesting. The MPAs used for CSA-related tasks include voice calls ( =2.78), Short Messaging Service (SMS) ( =2.53), calculators ( =2.46), camera ( =2.46) and emails ( =2.43). Constraints to using MPAs for CSAITs-related tasks included inadequate knowledge and skills in CSAITs ( =3.72) and in the use of many MPAs and

Advances in computer and information technologies have been utilized by companies all over the world since the 1990s. Corresponding roughly to the same period, global trade has increased dramatically. The opening up of large markets like China and the Eastern Europe contributed to this trend. National companies turned global and had to manage operations in a number of different countries. Companies strived to maintain better customer relationships through CRM programs aimed at managing the flow of information, interacting with the customers, and in the end, formulating individualized offerings for them. Globalization has led to the development of the new notion of Global Customer Relationship Management as opposed to having independent local CRM programs operating in the subsidiaries. This chapter presents the issues facing the implementation of such Global CRM programs and provides the important conceptual frameworks proposed in the literature.
