financial statements have an important role for stakeholders to be able to provide information for decision making. Therefore, managers are required to be able to prepare quality financial reports. Financial statements are declared qualified if they meet the qualitative quality of financial statements. In this study trying to show the effect of leverage, firm size and tenure of directors on the quality of financial statements. The object of this study is in Islamic banks in Indonesia. The research sample consisted of 11 Islamic commercial banks with an observation period in 2013-2017. From the results of data processing, the results show that the leverage variable cannot affect the quality of islamic banks financial statements, while firm size and director tenure have a significant effect on the quality of financial statements

According to the IASB's IFRS framework, qualitative characteristics are the attributes that make the information provided in financial statements useful to others. This study was conducted to investigate the quality of financial reports before and after adopting IFRSs in Ghana, and also the influence of firm-specific characteristics which include firm size, profitability, debt equity ratio, liquidity and audit firm size on the quality of financial information disclosed by firms listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.The research was conducted through detailed analysis of the pre-official adoption period, (2006) and post adoption period, (2008) financial statements of the listed firms.  Descriptive analysis was performed to provide the background statistics of the variables examined.  This was followed by regression analysis which forms the main data analysis.  The results of the quality of financial information disclosure mean of 76.80% (pre adoption) and 87.09% (post adoption) for the two years indicate that the quality of financial reports has improved significantly after adopting IFRSs. The study thus confirms that the implementation of IFRSs generally reinforce accounting disclosure quality.  It also indicates listed firms' overwhelming compliance with the IASB's IFRS Framework.The results of the multiple regression analysis show that company size, represented by net assets and Auditor type were found to be associated at a statistically significant level with the quality of financial information disclosed.  With the improvement in the quality of the financial reports after adopting IFRS users are assured of useful information for financial decision-making.Keywords: Quality of financial reports' disclosure, Firm-specific characteristics, International Financial Reporting Standards, Mandatory disclosure, Ghana. JEL Classifications: M40, M41, M48

<p class="bdabstract">Islamic Bank as a type of Islamic financial institution has the authority to collect and distribute funds to the public. In carrying out its operational activities, Islamic Banks have transactions that can lead to non-halal income because Islamic Banks also make transactions with Conventional Financial Institutions. PSAK 101 has regulated the disclosure of no n-halal income as part of the Report on the Sources and Use of Virtue Fund. The purpose of this study is to determine the description and disclosure of non-halal income in the financial statements of Islamic Commercial Banks. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 14 Islamic Commercial Banks operating nationally and publishing complete financial reports in 2019 on the official website of Islamic Commercial Banks. The results showed that non-halal income from 14 Islamic Commercial Banks have been disclosed in accordance with PSAK 101, namely the Report on the Sources and Use of Virtue Funds. However, not all banks disclose in detail the reasons for the occurrence and use of non-halal income in the Notes to Financial Statements.</p>

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of musyarakah financing on profitability in Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the 2015-2017 period and to find out how much influence musyarakah financing had on profitability in sharia commercial banks for the period 2015-2017. The limitation of the problem of this research is on the profitability of financial ratios ROA (Return On Assets) and ROE (Return On Equity). To disclose these issues in depth and thoroughly, researchers used a quantitative approach with secondary data collection techniques in the form of financial statements of each sharia bank for three consecutive years and provided quarterly financial reports, obtained by 5 Islamic banks to obtain 60 data. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression using the SPSS version 16. Then the data is described, analyzed and discussed to answer the problems raised. From the results of the study it was found that musyarakah financing had a significant effect on ROA at alpha 5%. This is evidenced by the significance value (Sig.) (0.002) <(α) 0.05. While musyarakah financing has no significant effect on ROE at alpha 5%. This is evidenced by the significance value (Sig.) (0.669)> (α) 0.05.

Several studies have emphasized the importance of accounting information systems all over the world with different views. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of accuracy and speed of accounting information systems towards financial content among Jordanian commercial banks. A descriptive approach was employed to achieve the objectives of the study. Survey questionnaire was used to collect data from a selected sample of 13 banks. the sample was selected from top and middle Management levels as these levels represents the perfect group for making decision&rsquo;s related to quality of financial reports and its Relationship with accounting information systems, 130 questioners were distributed with average 10 questioners for each bank and 126 questioners were got response. The results reveal that there is significant effect of accuracy and speed of accounting information systems in financial content among Jordanian commercial banks.

his study aims to (1) examine and analyze the influence of Human Resource (SDM) competence and the role of internal audit on the successful implementation of the Local Financial Information System (SKID) partially and simultaneously, (2) examine and analyze the competence of SDM and the role of internal audit on the quality of financial report partially and simultaneously,(3) examine and analyze the influence of SDM competence and the role of internal audit on the quality of financial reports on the successful implementation of the SKID. The object of this study is all provincials and district / city governments throughout North Sumatera. The sample of this study was 34 (thirty four). The data was collected by questionnaire, documentation, and interview methods. The analysis method used was path analysis using SPSS Program. The results of this study indicate that (1) SDM competence and the role of internal audit have no partial effect on the successful implementation of SKID (2) SDM competence, the role of internal audit doesn’t simultaneously affect the successful implementation of SKID (3) SDM competence and the role of internal audit have a significant effect partially to the quality of financial reports (4) the successful implementation of SKID has no effect on the quality of financial reports (5) SDM competence, the role of internal audit, the successful implementation of SKID simultaneously affects the quality of financial reports (6) SDM competence and the role of internal audit have no effect on quality financial reports through the successful implementation of the local financial information system.

This study aims to examine the effect of human resource competence, government internal control system and the use of information technology on the quality of financial statements of Central Bureau of Statistics in the Maluku Region.The population in this study are employees who handle accounting / financial reports on all accounting entities within the Central Bureau of Statistics in the Maluku Region.The research sample is the financial statements stylist includes PPK , PPSPM, financial staff, equipment, program development (planning) or administration as well as employees in the technical field who make financial reports. The data analyzed are primary data obtained through questionnaires. Total questionnaires distributed amounted to 57 and processed as many as 50 questionnaires (87.72%). The analytical method used is the multiple regression analysis method.Hypothesis testing results indicate that the competence of human resources and government internal control systems has a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial statements while the use of information technology has no effect on the quality of financial statements.

The purposes of this research were to determine the effect of the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia on financing, both individually and simultaneously. The performance was measured through Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). These four independent variables to be tested influence on the dependent variable. This research used census method that includes all of the Islamic banks in Indonesia for observational data. Research data observation period from 2009 until 2013 a total of 11 banks. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data.The results of this study found that the Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) affect the financing, both individually and simultaneously. Fluctuations in either an increase or decrease of financing that occurred in Islamic banking in Indonesia is determined by the four independent variables. That is to say, the four independent variables that have an important role in the financing of Islamic banking in Indonesia. =========================================== Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kinerja keuangan bank umum syariah di Indonesia terhadap pembiayaan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Kinerja keuangan diukur melalui Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), dan Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) Keempat variabel bebas tersebut akan diuji pengaruhnya terhadap satu variabel tidak bebas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian sensus, yakni memasukan semua bank umum syariah yang ada di Indonesia ke dalam data pengamatan. Periode pengamatan data penelitian dari tahun 2009 s.d 2013 yang berjumlah 11 perbankan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), dan Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) berpengaruh terhadap pembiayaan pada perbankan syariah di Indonesia, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Fluktuasi baik itu peningkatan atau penurunan pembiayaan yang terjadi pada perbankan syariah di Indonesia ditentukan oleh keempat variabel bebas tersebut. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa, keempat variabel bebas tersebut mempunyai peranan penting atas pembiayaan pada perbankan syariah di Indonesia.

ABSTRACTThe phenomenon of government financial reports that have not received an unqualified opinion because they have not presented financial information that is following applicable standards and is not transparent and accountable for the management of regional finances, makes the level of trust of users of financial statements doubt the various information presented. The demand for clean governance is also a strong foundation so that the bureaucratic apparatus is able to present quality financial statements. This study aims to understand the effectiveness of the application of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) and the Regional Management Information System (SIMDA) currently being applied and its impact on the quality of financial statements. The research method used was a survey method. Then the data is collected from the results of questionnaires, interviews and literature studies. Data analysis is descriptive and verification. The results showed that SPIP and SIMDA had a significant impact on the quality of financial statements in Cireunghas District, Sukabumi District.    Keywords: financial statements, quality, SIMDA, SPIP

This research aims to examine the relationship between KAP size, institutional ownership, and the audit committee on the quality of financial reports. 616 Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) companies in 2018 became the population in this study. Purposive sampling as a sampling technique resulted in 547companies. Using inferential logistic regression analysis and using descriptive statistical analysis hypothesis testing methods with IBM SPSS version 25 tools. This study found that the KAP size and the audit committee has a positive effect on the quality of financial reports. Institutional ownership does not affect the quality of financial reports. Simultaneously, KAP size, institutional ownership, and audit committee influence the quality of financial reports. This study concludes that partially, KAP size and audit committee has a positive effect on the quality of financial reports. Simultaneously, KAP size, institutional ownership, and audit committee affect the quality of financial reports. Further research suggests using other proxies, other periods, and other variables.
