Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat menjadi sinyal era automasi/digitalisasi. Artinya, peran teknologi mulai menggeser kendali pekerjaan yang biasa dilakukan manusia. Potensi teknologi menggantikan peran profesi akuntan hanya menunggu waktu. Peran akuntan akan bersifat strategis dan konsultatif. Maka dari itu akuntan perlu memiliki sertifikasi misalnya fasih berteknologi, supaya mampu bertahan dalam bersaing. Seorang akuntan juga harus memiliki strategi, diantaranya penguasaan soft skill baik interpersonal skills maupun intra-personal skills, business understanding skills dan technical skills agar mampu menjawab tantangan diera digital ini. Seorang akuntan harus aware terhadap perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0 dengan melihat kesempatan yang ada. Perubahan era memang tidak bisa dihindari, maka dari itu harus selalu bisa mengontrol reaksi dan sikap terhadap perubahan tersebut agar bisa ikut maju mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Dalam sektor akuntansi, berbagai tantangan yang hadir seiring datangnya era digital tak bisa dibiarkan begitu saja, harus dipelajari dengan baik agar dapat menentukan sikap untuk mengatasinya. Fasih berteknologi merupakan salah satu kunci menghadapi tantangan di era ini. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Program Studi Akuntansi S1 Universitas Pamulang telah melakukan penyuluhan secara daring via aplikasi zoom bagi murid-murid SMKS Daru Roja Cinere-Depok sebagai kepedulian akan pentingnya memahami tantangan dan peluang profesi akuntan di era milenial.Kata Kunci: Tantangan Profesi Akuntan, Peluang Profesi Akuntan The rapid development of technology signals the era of automation/ digitization. That is, the role of technology began to shift the control of the work commonly done by humans. The potential of technology to replace the role of the accounting profession is just a matter of time. The role of accountant will be strategic and consultative. Therefore accountants need to have certifications such as eloquent technology, in order to be able to survive in competition. An accountant must also have strategies, including mastery of soft skills both interpersonal skills and intra-personal skills, business understanding skills and technical skills in order to be able to answer the challenges of this digital age. An accountant should be aware of the development of industrial revolution 4.0 by looking at the opportunities that exist. Era change is inevitable, therefore must always be able to control the reaction and attitude to the change in order to be able to move forward with the times. In the accounting sector, various challenges that come with the coming digital era can the attitude to overcome it. Eloquence in technology is one of the key challenges in this era. Based on this phenomenon, the community service team of Accounting Study Program S1 Pamulang University has conducted online counseling via zoom application for students of SMKS Daru Roja Cinere-Depok as a concern for the importance of understanding the challenges and opportunities of the accountant profession in the millennial era.Keywords: Challenges Of The Accountant Profession, Accountant Professional The Opportunities

This paper discusses the role of the kiai's leadership in pesantren education in an effort to strengthen the Industrial Revolution 4.0 industry. Pesantren is an ideal education system that attempts to provide education to the community to develop the existing potential, because pesantren santri in pesantren are not only given religious knowledge, santri are also taught to live independently, have character and innovate through pesantren activities. The pesantren is one of the institutions of Islamic education that will produce a generation of Indonesians into 'ulama', Muslim scholars and generations who have national character and morality. In the current era of information technology development, learning approaches have experienced rapid development that can change people's mindsets. The availability of information technology that is connected to the internet makes it easy for everyone to access science. So that pesantren must also be able to actualize these developments by developing pesantren curricula that are in accordance with the needs of the times. Then what is the role of pesantren in facing the development of globalization, what strategies are suitable in dealing with generations of the millennial era.

This chapter describes how Tourism 4.0 is a concept that combines tourism and the fourth industrial revolution, and although the literature in this field is very scarce, this concept has been explored in some research projects, such as the government-sponsored research project in Slovenian tourism. People with various kinds of access requirements represent a combination of challenges and opportunities for the tourism industry. Tourism 4.0 set up the main goals of making tourism accessible to everyone at any time. Therefore, this new phenomenon may have an essential role in the development of accessible tourism. The adoption of technological components in accessible tourism enables the development of a new technological solution that can facilitate access to tourism products for disabled people, contributing to the development of accessible tourism. The new term Accessible@Tourism 4.0 is the answer to the role of the fourth industrial revolution in accessible tourism, emphasizing the effect of Industry 4.0 components in the tourism sector.

Pesantren as one of the religious education institutions that are the womb of the prospective Muslim scholars, they also have a mandate to carry out educational missions based on Article 1 (1) of Law No. 20 of 2003 namely developing the potential of students to have religious spiritual power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and skills needed by him, society, nation, and state. Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (here in after: Era 4.0) has an unimportant impact. It affects all aspects of human life. Included in this case is education. This era is characterized by the increasingly central role of cyber technology in human life. So do not be surprised if in the world of education the term "Education 4.0" appears. Availability of various information is born from the 4.0 digital revolution makes everyone able to access knowledge without being limited by space and time, therefore the pesantren curriculum continues to be encouraged to be contextual to the needs of the times, but on the other hand the pesantren is still able to maintain its identity as guardian of tradition. Efforts that can be developed in Islamic boarding schools in the era of 4.0 include building digital literacy in Islamic boarding schools and creating Islamic study channels.

In the event of industrial revolution 4.0, commonly known as the "Age of Disruption", several challenges and opportunities arise and affect various aspects of human life. With no exception in the field of science which gave birth to a new paradigm in the realm of philosophy of science. The Faculty of Ushuluddin as the core of the University of Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo is also in need of evaluation and improvement in order to answer the challenges and to take advantage of these opportunities. A firm construction of the Faculty’s epistemology requires a massive revitalization in many aspects. In this paper, the author describes the aspects that need special attention by using Gavin Moodie's perspective to produce a comprehensive map for the aspects that support the continuity of higher education in the age of disruption. Revitalization by the Faculty of Ushuluddin would include the aspects of learning system, educational components, students, human resources, and literacy. The learning system needs to utilize a wide range of supporting digital media that the students are familiar with. The educational components which comprise the facility and infrastructure to support learning activities from classrooms, classrooms’ layouts, dormitories, equipment, and management in the faculty also receives very intense attention in accordance with the times. Students need to be equipped with 10 basic skills needed by the world and society today, these skills include the ability of metacognition, which is the ability of advance thinking. To achieve the previous profile, it is necessary to provide, guide and develop educators (HR) and to be supported by a new literacy movement that includes digital, technological, and human literacy. All of these revitalization efforts are still based on the philosophy of life of the Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School, it is “the preservation of good traditions and adoption of a better innovation.


The process of industrialization, modernization and the rapid development of industrial revolution 4.0 are creating new development opportunities for the Southeast in general and Binh Duong in particular, but also setting many challenges. In order to take advantage of opportunities and overcome challenges, the role of the contingent of intellectuals in Binh Duong province is huge. Through the assessment of the current status of the development of the intellectual contingent of Binh Duong province, the article proposes basic views and major solutions to continue developing this team in the future to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country.


The aim of writing this chapter is to describe the nexus between emerging technology in terms of fourth industrial revolution and corporate social responsibility in the presence of driven challenges and opportunities. This chapter also explains the current implications of the fourth industrial revolution to understand the current challenges, to address and find out opportunities. Similarly, this chapter also analyses that role of information technology overall as a factor of globalization. Furthermore, in term of the emerging issues, which are significant challenges of the world, such sustainable development consists of economic, social, and environmental factors. The discussion reveals that, to achieve sustainable development in the presence of fourth industrial revolution, it is the responsibility of the corporate sector to use all technologies in a socially and economically friendly manner; therefore, the maximum advantages could be derived from its use.

  The role of Islamic education is a very strong foundation and becomes a reference of developing students’ character to face the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era, and Islam is a source of truth and strength that can deliver ways on daily lives to achieve human character formation. Therefore, Islamic education is an important part of preparing the quality students. In other words, Islamic Education has a major contribution in the process of building students who have good character, have the ability to compete in the industrial revolution 4.0 era, have the ability to use global technology, and have the ability to adapt to the rapid development of technology. Islamic education is also expected to facilitate students to study hard consistently in order to face this era and students are expected to master sophisticated global technology without limits.    This study aims to describe and analyze the role of Islamic Education in building students’ character in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. To achieve the purposes of the study, this study used a qualitative method with a qualitative-naturalistic approach. Various data collection techniques used in this study are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results shows that the role of Islamic Education in building students' character was carried out through the following activities; 1) Intra-curricular activities: in this activity, the teacher inserts characters in the teaching and learning process of all subjects namely Qu'ran hadith, Fiqh, History of Islamic Culture, Arabic, and Aqeedah Akhlak. The teacher connects directly with material of akhlaq or character 2) Extra-curricular activities include: Tilawatil Qur'an (reading the Qur'an) using digital literacy methods, Tahfidzul Qur'an (memorizing the Qur'an), Qitobha, Hadroh (Islamic Music) and Calligraphy. Through these two types of activities built several characters: religious, honest, fond of reading, responsible, independent, appreciating achievements, caring socially and hard work. By having the character, the students are ready to face the industrial era 4.0.

The existence of educational institutions plays a very large role in educating human resources in Indonesia. Because in essence education has two main objectives, namely to help educate humans and make intelligent humans become good. Not only intellectually intelligent but also have a strong character, especially to face the times and globalization. Therefore the role of educational institutions must also pay attention to the development of students in the scope of soft skills by equipping them with practical skills. Photography is an important part of visual communication which is now an integral part of people's lives. Coupled with the trend of social media, human life is centered in it. So that this PKM activity aims to be a form of education for students regarding the function of photography in today's digital era. The method used in PKM activities is to conduct training for partners with student and female participants. PKM activities are carried out online using the Zoom application. The results of PKM activities indicate an increase in participants' understanding of photography, which can be seen through the pre and post PKM activity questionnaires. In addition, participants also have an interest in photography in the scope of social media, including photography techniques and recommendations for editing applications using smartphones. Suggestions from the team regarding this activity are to carry out further activities that focus on photography using smartphones for upload needs on social media.ABSTRAK:Keberadaan lembaga pendidikan sangat besar peranannya dalam mencerdaskan sumber daya manusia di Indonesia. Sebab pada hakikatnya pendidikan memiliki dua tujuan utama yaitu membantu mencerdaskan manusia dan menjadikan manusia cerdas tersebut menjadi baik. Tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual tetapi juga memiliki karakter yang kuat, terutama untuk menghadapi perkembangan zaman dan globalisasi. Oleh karenanya peran lembaga pendidikan juga harus memperhatikan pengembangan peserta didik dalam ruang lingkup soft skill dengan membekali mereka keterampilan yang bersifat praktis. Fotografi menjadi bagian penting dalam komunikasi visual yang sekarang ini menjadi salah satu bagian integral dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Ditambah juga dengan adanya tren media sosial yang menjadikan kehidupan manusia berpusat di dalamnya. Sehingga kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menjadi bentuk edukasi bagi para siswa terkait fungsi fotografi di era digital saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan kepada pihak mitra dengan peserta siswa dan siswi. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai fotografi, yang dapat dilihat melalui kuesioner pra dan paska kegiatan PKM. Selain itu, peserta juga memiliki ketertarikan terhadap fotografi dalam lingkup media sosial, termasuk didalamnya teknik fotografi dan juga rekomendasi aplikasi editing dengan menggunakan smartphones. Saran dari tim terkait kegiatan ini adalah dilaksanakannya kegiatan lanjutan yang berfokus pada fotografi dengan menggunakan smartphones untuk kebutuhan unggah di media sosial.

This study aims to determine the views of physics and non-physics teachers on the challenges and opportunities of education now and in the future, namely the entry of Indonesia in industry 4.0. Education is not a simple thing that we can ignore because basically education is the basis of the formation of a character. Countries are said to be developed if the quality of human resources possessed is high quality. In this study we used a participatory qualitative research method. The instrument used was a questionnaire response to the challenges and educational opportunities which amounted to 25 statements and was given to 10 educators in West Java. The results of this study indicate the profile of respondents' responses to educational challenges and opportunities is varied and the indicator profile of educational challenges and opportunities is at 70%. This study concludes that the level of educator response to the nature of education is quite low at 70%. The most dominant aspects of challenges and opportunities include the role of globalization and technological development. This study recommends that teachers improve the individual quality of each student and the placement of learning systems that are compatible with the education system in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Implementation of the 2013 curriculum has generally used recommended models, but the role of the work-sheets used in the learning process still does not facilitate students' critical thinking skills. The research aims to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the development worksheets on the microbial concepts based on urban wetlands to improve students' critical thinking skills. The development of work-sheets was carried out in 2 phases; preliminary research phase and prototype phase using the Tessmer design. Content validation uses a validation assessment sheet instrument. The practicality data of the contents was using an assessment sheet instrument on the worksheet structure. Practicality data (expectations and actual) were collected using a practicality sheet instrument obtained from students' responses to the contents of the worksheet. Effectiveness data (expectations and actual) are obtained based on the results of critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills (cooperation), and intra-personal skills (responsible). Data analysis techniques by calculating the percentage of validation refer to Akbar (2017), practicality test, and effectiveness test with criteria referring to Purwanto (2012). The results showed that worksheets for students were valid and were practical for users with the practicality of contents and practicality of expectations is good. Work-sheets was declared to be effectively used based on the results of the critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills (collaboration), and intra-personal skills (meticulous), and the value of the effectiveness of expectations is good categories too.
