Green open space (RTH) is one of the most important elements in urban areas that can function to balance the ecological conditions in an area so that there is a balance between ecosystems and development developments in the modern era. But the pace of urban development often does not consider the existence of green space. Other than that, many people do not know the existence and function of green space, so it often looks like being ignored and not maintained. In this case, researchers are interested in identifying the potential presence of green open space in the Seberang Ulu II sub-district of Palembang. This study will collect data on the location of each green space in the Seberang Ulu II sub-district, identification of existing vegetation types, estimation of carbon storage, and the level of understanding of the Seberang Ulu II community on the existence and function of green space. The method used is to use plot sampling to determine the level of diversity of green space and the distribution of questionnaires to determine the level of community understanding. The results showed that the area of green open space in the Seberang Ulu II sub-district was only 1.88% of the total area. From the open green space location in Seberang Ulu II Subdistrict, there are 33 species of green open vegetation plants. Where Angsana plants (Pterocarpus indicus), trembesi (Albizia saman), palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.), Glodogantiang (Polyathea longifolia) and palm (Mascarena sp) become a plant that dominates and has the highest INP value.

AbstractBackgroundAnxiety and fear of labor pain has led to elevated cesarean section rate in some countries. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of yoga in pregnancy on anxiety, labor pain and length of labor stages.MethodsThis clinical trial study was performed on 84 nulliparous women who were at least 18 years old and were randomly divided into two groups of yoga and control groups. Pregnancy Yoga Program consisting of 6 60-min training sessions was started every 2 weeks from week 26 of pregnancy and continued until 37 weeks of gestation. Anxiety severity at maternal admission to labor was measured by the Spielbergers State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, and labor pain was measured by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) at dilatation (4–5 cm) and 2 h after the first measurement. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square and t-test.ResultsIntervention group reported less pain at dilatation (4–5 cm) (p=0.001) and 2 h after the first measurement (p=0.001) than the control group. Stat anxiety was also lower in intervention group than the control group (p=0.003) at the entrance to labor room. Subjects in the control group required more induction compared to intervention group (p=0.003). Women in intervention group experienced shorter duration of the first phase of the labor than the control group (p=0.002). Also, the total duration of two stages of labor was shorter in intervention group than the control group (p=0.003).ConclusionsPracticing yoga during pregnancy may reduce women’s anxiety during labor; shorten labor stages, and lower labor pain.

SUMMARY Leishmaniae are obligatory intracellular protozoa in mononuclear phagocytes. They cause a spectrum of diseases, ranging in severity from spontaneously healing skin lesions to fatal visceral disease. Worldwide, there are 2 million new cases each year and 1/10 of the world's population is at risk of infection. To date, there are no vaccines against leishmaniasis and control measures rely on chemotherapy to alleviate disease and on vector control to reduce transmission. However, a major vaccine development program aimed initially at cutaneous leishmaniasis is under way. Studies in animal models and humans are evaluating the potential of genetically modified live attenuated vaccines, as well as a variety of recombinant antigens or the DNA encoding them. The program also focuses on new adjuvants, including cytokines, and delivery systems to target the T helper type 1 immune responses required for the elimination of this intracellular organism. The availability, in the near future, of the DNA sequences of the human and Leishmania genomes will extend the vaccine program. New vaccine candidates such as parasite virulence factors will be identified. Host susceptibility genes will be mapped to allow the vaccine to be targeted to the population most in need of protection.
