Financial management defined as behavior and perceptions about how financial is managed. For the present, student financial management refers to the behavior and perceptions of how students manage their finances and handle their money during studies. The aim of this study is to assess university students’ financial management skills. Data were collected among Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) students. The selection of this sample was students with an age between 18 years old to 25 years old. The sample was selected through the simple random sampling technique with the sample size of 114 respondents. Perceived financial management skills were measured using a Likert scale from 1 (unskilled) to 5 (skilful) on 12 management related items: daily expenses, debt, future needs, time, savings, use of education loan, purpose of education loan, social interaction, stress, decision making, problem solving and career planning. The data were analyzed by using t-tests and Analyses of Variances (ANOVA) through Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. The scores for the financial management skills were computed and the results revealed there was no gender difference in the score. However, the female students showed a higher level of financial skills than the males. Therefore, there are significant differences in the mean score among ethnic groups, with Indian students scoring the lowest compared to other ethnic groups.

Financial management is preparing, directing and managing the monetary activities of an institution and it has become necessary for the educational managers to have good financial management skills. The objectives of the study were; 1) To explore the heads financial managerial skills at secondary school level 2) To find out the effect of heads financial managerial skills in accelerating secondary school performance. The study was descriptive in nature. All the heads of secondary schools comprised the population in district Sahiwal. Researchers selected 110 headteachers from secondary schools through a simple random sampling technique. A questionnaire was used as a research tool for the study and researchers visited the respondents personally and the target of 100% data collection successfully achieved. The study concluded that due to heads teachers financial management skills the overall performance of school has been improved including students attendance, teachers attendance, results of different classes and drop out of the students.

This research is purposed to reveal scales of student’s learning motivation contribution and pedagogical competence of teachers grade for computer and information management skills subject at X class SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang. The type of this research is descriptive correlation. Populations in this research are 164 students, and samples are amount to 62 students of X class SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang, school of year 2012/2013. Samples are taken by simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique in this research is Pearson product moment and multiple-correlation. Results from data analysis claimed that there are contributions from learning motivation and pedagogical competence of teachers grade of computer and information management skills subject at X class SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang, as follow: (1) student’s learning motivation gives contribution to student’s grade by 21,34%, (2) pedagogical competence of teachers gives contribution to student’s grade by 17,89%, (3) student’s motivation to learn together with pedagogical competence of teachers give contribution to student’s grade by 27,98%. This research suggest that student’s motivation to learn and pedagogical competence of teachers give contribution to student’s grade.

This research was conducted with the aim of revealing the level of knowledge related to COVID-19 among state university students, in the NKRI-RDTL border area. This study includes a qualitative descriptive study involving the population, namely all active students of state universities, Timor University, which are located in the border area of ​​the Republic of Indonesia-RDTL. By using a simple random sampling technique, obtained 1181 students as respondents. The research instrument in the form of a knowledge questionnaire related to covid was distributed to respondents offline and also online using the google form. The results showed that 17.7% of respondents had knowledge at a low level, 62.66% of respondents had knowledge at a moderate level, while 19.64% of respondents had knowledge at a high level. Among the 4 aspects of knowledge, knowledge on the etiology and symptom aspects, as well as aspects of preventing the spread of covid-19, are at a high level with an average value of each aspect, namely 85.61 and 83.09. Meanwhile, knowledge on aspects of risk groups and aspects of the spread of COVID-19 is at a low level with an average value of 51.54 and 54.19. This needs attention because the quality of knowledge basically has a relationship with attitudes and behavior related to COVID-19

Young adults including university students are at high risk of acquiring HIV due to their risky sexual practices. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of risky sexual behaviours amongst regular undergraduate students in Jigjiga University. The researcher used a quantitative, univariate cross-sectional descriptive study. Two hundred and thirty six (236) students were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a standardised structured questionnaire. The study revealed that 70.53% of respondents were sexually experienced. Majority (54.8%) of the sexually experienced respondents were sexually active within 3 months of the study. Up to 30.14% of sexually experienced respondents have had sex with a person other than their currentpartner in the past 12 months. Only 59.6% of the sexually experienced respondents used condom in their most recent sexual engagement. The findings of this study showed that university students are involved in sexual behaviours that may increase their risk of contracting HIV infection. Based on the above results, researchers recommended the designing of interventions which are contextually relevant to Jigjiga University to mitigate risky sexual practices amongst university students.

Results from data analysis claimed that there are contributions from learning motivation and learning environment for student’s grade of computer and information management skills subject at X class SMKN 5 Padang, as follow: (1) student’s creativity gives contribution to student’s grade by 14,13%, (2) laboratorium of facility gives contribution to student’s grade by 20.09%, (3) student’s creativity together with laboratorium of facility give contribution to student’s grade by 27,98%. Unemployment has become a household name among graduates in Nigeria. It is more worrisome when business education graduates are conspicuously found among the unemployed graduates roaming around the streets. This study therefore evaluated the extent of possession of communication, financial management and failure management skills for self-reliance among business education undergraduate students in south-western states. The survey research design was adopted. The population of the study consisted of 630 final year Business Education students in all the four public universities offering Business Education programme. The sample of the study consisted of 150 respondents, representing 24%, which was selected through proportionate sampling technique. A self-designed questionnaire titled “Questionnaire on Evaluating Entrepreneurial Skills for Self-Reliance “(QEESSR) with 35 items was developed to elicit responses on the three research questions raised for the study. The instrument was validated by two Business Education experts and one Test expert. The split half method was used to determine the reliability of the instrument and the data collected were subjected to Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula and yielded a coefficient of 0.72. The study concludes that Business Education students highly possessed communication, financial management and failure management skills that could make them become successful entrepreneurs. The study therefore recommends that Business Education students should make judicious use of the failure management skills possessed to establish their own entrepreneurial outfits and nurture them to maturity after graduation, among others.

This research was aimed to examine the moderating role of gender on the impact of sexual jealousy on partner infidelity among university students. For the purpose, a sample of 352 students were recruited through simple random sampling technique from four cities (Bahawalpur, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi) of Punjab, Pakistan. Respondents were given two questionnaires; Interpersonal Jealousy Scale and Infidelity Questionnaire. After data collection, results were analysed through SmartPLS (3.0) for moderation model.  The results showed that sexual jealousy had significant positive impact showing 59% variance on partner infidelity, whereas, gender was found to be a significant moderator between sexual jealousy and partner infidelity (R2= 0.594, t= 2.403, p<.01). The results of this research are discussed in detail with limitations and future suggestions for the future researches related to impact of sexual jealousy on partner infidelity.

Abstract To produce good performance, UMKM entrepreneurs must know how to manage their business finances. UMKM with good performance will have high competitiveness. To realize this, quality human resources are needed. In addition, in order to be able to develop SMEs, they are required to be creative and innovative in developing effective marketing strategies in order to produce good business performance. A UMKM will be difficult to develop if its business actors do not know how to market an effective product. This research aims to explore the effects of financial management, human resource competencies and marketing strategies on UMKM performance. This research uses 99 samples, namely the trade sector UMKMs that are included in the Denpasar Cooperative SMEs. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula and the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to the survey method. To answer the research hypothesis using analytical tools, namely multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial management, human resource competencies and marketing strategies had a positive effect on MSME performance. UMKM dengan kinerja yang baik akan memiliki daya saing yang tinggi. Untuk mewujudkan hal itu dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Selain itu, agar mampu berkembang pelaku UMKM dituntut untuk kreatif dan inovatif dalam menyusun strategi pemasaran yang efektif agar menghasilkan kinerja usaha yang bagus. Sebuah UMKM akan sulit berkembang jika pelaku usahanya tidak mengetahui bagaimana cara memasarkan suatu produk yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengaruh pengelolaan keuangan, kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan strategi pemasaran pada kinerja UMKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan 99 sampel yaitu UMKM sektor perdagangan yang termasuk dalam UMKM binaan Koperasi Kota Denpasar. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner dengan metode survei. Untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian menggunakan alat analisis yaitu regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan, kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan strategi pemasaran berpengaruh positif pada kinerja UMKM. This research is motivated by the low motivation of entrepreneurship that is owned by graduates of life skills education in the field of fashion skills in learning activities in the District of Lima Puluh Kota, seen from 30 graduates who only a few people who are entrepreneurs. Researchers suspect that the cause of the low motivation for entrepreneurship in graduates of Life Skills education is due to the lack of adversity intelligence possessed by graduates. This study aims to describe the relationship between adversity intelligence and entrepreneurial motivation for life skills education graduates in fashion management skills. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational type. The population in this study were 30 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, a sample of 65% as many as 19 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data collection tools using a list of statements (questionnaires). The results of the study showed that the description of adversity intelligence graduates of life skills education in nursing skills was categorized as low.Keywords: Adversity Intelligence, Entrepreneurial Motivation

Planning a career in high school students can be developed with the implementation of services appropriate to their talents, interests and personal circumstances. This study aims to describe the contribution of information about career services and career placement services to the distribution of students' career planning is. This study includes a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach. Population were students of SMA Negeri 16 Padang class XI Academic Year 2012/2013 (243), with a total sample of 151 people, selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire enclosed with the model using a Likert scale. The findings of the study is information about career services and placement services distribution contribute to the achievement levels of students are planning careers in the high category, it can be seen from the attitude toward career planning, career exploration attitudes, career decision making and understanding of information about the world of work.
