Hypertension is a condition that is often experienced by the elderly. By increasing age resulting in increased blood pressure, the arterial wall in the elderly will experience thickening which results in the accumulation of collagen in the muscle layer. So that the blood vessels will gradually narrow and become stiff . To avoid or reduce the risk of collagen and atherosclerosis accumulation which is one of the causes of hypertension, regular exercise is needed. Elderly gymnastics is a series of regular and directed and planned tones of movement that are followed by the elderly in the form of physical exercises that affect the physical abilities of the elderly which will help the body stay fit and stay fresh. It keeps bones strong and helps eliminate free radicals wandering in the body and can flex blood vessels. This research is a kind of quasi-experimental research with a pre and post test without control design. This research was conducted in Darussalam, Aceh Besar. Blood pressure is measured using a sphygmomanometer, a statistical test used by Non-parametric. To see blood pressure before and after elderly exercise using the t-test. After doing elderly gymnastics for six times in 2 weeks, there are differences in the value of blood pressure in the elderly before and after elderly gymnastics with a p-value of 0.000. Thus, it is expected that elderly gymnastics can be used as an alternative nursing action in handling hypertension, especially in the elderly. Stress is an individual's adaptive response to various external pressures or demands and produces a variety of disorders including physical, emotional and behavioral disorders. Final year students often experience feelings of stress so that it can interfere with concentration to attend lectures and can even hamper completing education in a timely manner. There are several ways of managing stress, one of which is using aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is a non-pharmacological therapy, which is a type of therapy that applies direct body contact and has a therapeutic effect that combines physiological effects, caused by massage on the body, with psychological effects, which are derived from essential oils. The general purpose of the study is to analyze the effect of aromatherapy on blood pressure and stress levels by using the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale in final semester students. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design approach, in 28 intervention groups, namely respondents who were given lavender aromatherapy massage and 28 respondents in the control group. The univariate analysis was conducted to show frequency distribution and bivariate analysis was conducted by independent sample T-test and dependent sample T-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in systolic blood pressure before and after the intervention in the intervention and the control group with a p-value of 0.01 < 0.05. Whereas the stress level variable found that there is no difference in stress levels in the intervention and the control group before and after the intervention with p-value 0.169> 0.05.

Pregnancy is a period of both hormonal and non-hormonal overall change in the body. Emotional instability is commonly experienced by women during this period. However, this somewhat complex issue is often not addressed optimally. Pharmacological therapies using CPZ and lithium are often administered, but they have effects for the body. Therefore, there is a need to administer non-pharmacological therapy that has minimum side effects. This research aims to increase the healthy energy within the body using Pranic Healing, which is measured by the Bio-Well GDV camera. This research employed the pretest-posttest method on two groups (treatment and control) using the Randomized Controlled Trial design. Pranic Healing therapy was performed for 30 minutes once a week for 3 weeks, while GDV measurement was performed once a week for 4 weeks. Paired t-test results for Pranic Healing on emotional pressure showed p-value of 0.0001 (<0.05) for posttest2 and p-value of 0.005 (<0.05) for posttest3. Meanwhile, the control group did not indicate any changes in emotional stress both before and after treatment. It is found that Pranic Healing as measured using a bio-well GDV camera is capable of improving health energy within the body by relieving emotional stress experienced in trimester III primigravida.

Long as the elderly are getting older, the cardiovascular system will experience changes such as arteries losing their elasticity, leading to an increase in pulse and systolic blood pressure. Acupressure is a development of acupuncture therapy that can lower blood pressure; stimulation at the acupressure point causes the release of endorphin hormones which reduce lactic acid production to provide a relaxed and comfortable condition. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pre-posttest design with simple random sampling, which involved 34 elderly with hypertension. According to the standard operational procedure (SOP), blood pressure was measured with a sphygmomanometer, and acupressure therapy was the standard operational procedure (SOP). Data analysis was carried out using a paired t-test because the data were normally distributed. The results showed that the mean blood pressure before the intervention was 152.35/97.65 mmHg, while after the intervention, the average blood pressure was 140.74/90.59 mmHg. Analysis with paired sample t-test obtained p-value = 0.001 in systolic and diastolic pressures. There were differences in blood pressure before and after acupressure therapy intervention in the elderly at Kediri I Public Health Center, Tabanan Regency. It is hoped that nurses can independently provide acupressure therapy to older adults with hypertension to lower blood pressure.

Hypertension is the main cause of stroke which brings high mortality. The cause of hypertension consists of genetic and environmental factors, Along with the changing lifestyle of hypertension cases continues to increase. According to the WHO International Hypertension Society there are currently 600 million sufferers worldwide, and 3 million of them die each year. Based on the results of interviews with hypertension patients who visited the Tanjung Paku Puskesmas among the elderly, said if their high blood pressure always went to the Puskesmas and took hypertension medication, but still rarely did non-pharmacological treatment, so far it was more likely if there were complaints such as headaches, shoulders feels heavy then go straight to the health center. This type of research in this study is a pre-experimental design "One Pre-Test-Post Test Design" in this study the group of subjects was measured blood pressure before deep breathing techniques (pre-test), then carried out deep breating (intervention) and measured again pressure blood after deep breating technique (post test). From the statistical test there was a significant difference between systole blood pressure before and after the deep breathing technique with a p value of 0,000 ˃ 0.05. It is expected that health workers can provide more optimal information, especially for patients with hypertension both mild, mild, moderate and severe to help hypertension sufferers in lowering blood pressure in a non-pharmacological manner.

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg in two measurements with an interval of five minutes in moderate rest. Hypertensive disease can attack at any age, including the elderly. The sweet carambola (Averrhoa Carambola linn) is one of the traditional antihypertensive drugs, because it contains high potassium which is useful as a diuretic, maintaining the stability of the body electrolyte through the sodium potassium pump, reducing the amount of water and salt in the body and loosening the blood vessels, this condition helps the pressure drop blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving sweet starfruit juice to blood pressure in the elderly in the village of Lemah Putih Kec. Brati Kab. Grobogan. This research design is quasi experiment design with the randomized pre-test post-test control group design. The sample size is 30 respondents. The results showed that based on statistic t dependent test showed p value of intervention group at blood pressure of systole sebebsar 0.03, and diastole was 0.014 (p <0,05) hence Ho was rejected which mean in intervention group there was influence of sweet starfruit juice to elderly blood pressure with hypertension. While p value of control group at systole blood pressure was 0.786, and diastole was 0.953 (p> 0,05) so Ho was received which mean in the control group there was no effect of star fruit juice to blood pressure lansia with hypertension.

Blood pressure is pressure or force which is pumped from the heart to arterial walls so that blood can flow in blood vessels and reach tissues throughout the body. Blood pressure problems in the elderly include hypertension or hypotension. Hypertension and hypotension can be treated pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is heart exercise. This research was to identify the effect of heart exercise on blood pressure in the elderly at Sanggrahan Hamlet, Wedomartani Village, Ngemplak Subdistrict, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. This research is a quasi-experiment with a pre-post test nonequivalent control group. Samples were taken using consecutive sampling with a sample size of 15 respondents/group. Data were analyzed using paired T-Test. In the control group, mean of systolic and diastolic pretest were 137,34 mmHg and 85,63 mmHg.Mean of systolic and diastolic pretest were 137,21 mmHg and 85,48 mmHg. In the experimental group, mean of systolic and diastolic pretest were 135,27 mmHg and 81,73 mmHg.Mean of systolic and diastolic pretest were 133,00 mmHg and 83,53 mmHg. In the control group, p-value pre-posttest systolic and diastolic were 0,592 and 0,543. In experimental group, p-value pre-posttest systolic and diastolic were  0,028 dan 0,344. There was an effect of heart exercise in lowering systolic blood pressure in the elderly at Sanggrahan Hamlet, Wedomartani Village, Ngemplak Subdistrict, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. Respondents should maintain their blood pressure by doing heart exercise and other physical activities and taking regular blood pressure measurements.
