This article aims to examine the thoughts of Muḥammad Sa'īd Ramāḍan al-Būṭi in his book Tafsir Al-Mar'āh Bayn al-Ṭugyān al-Niḍām. The focus of this study is emphasized on how al-Būṭi interprets the verses about the division of inheritance between men and women which have been the subject of debate among experts. By using qualitative methods and content analysis, it can be concluded that in resolving the distribution of inheritance between sons and daughters, al-Būṭi offers the concept of al-tasāwī (equality) in the distribution of inheritance between men and women, so that there is no marginalization and subordination. addressed to one party, in this case women. With this concept, it is expected that men and women can inherit a balanced inheritance. According to him, the superiority or superiority of men (ar-rijàl) over women (an-nisa') is not based on natural advantages or factors of creation, but is based on the quality of management, wisdom and the level of culture and awareness that differs among humans. According to him, Islamic inheritance law is not measured by the level of equality between heirs, but is determined based on the size of the burden or responsibility that is developed for them, in terms of the general condition of their lives.

The study is devoted to the analysis of the efficiency of use and the effectiveness of disclosing the intellectual capital (IC) of a trading company operating in the market of the Russian Federation. The subject of the research is an assessment of the quality of disclosure of information about the IC company involved in the creation of financial results of activities and the growth of the company’s value. The study examines the assessment of IC and the search for links between the involvement of IC in the formation of the financial result of a trading company and the degree of its reflection in the company’s annual reports. Methods of using intellectual value-added coefficients (VAIC) such as the trademark logo (written as ™), Calculated Intangible Value (CIV) and content analysis of the company’s annual reports are used to assess the IC and its elements. The influence of IC and its components, on the financial results of a trading company are also investigated and calculated using various methods. It is shown that there are no statistically significant relationships between the assessments of IC and its elements obtained using financial ratios, and those obtained using content analysis. This indicates that the opinions and assessments of the heads of a trading company regarding IC are formed regardless of the size of IC involved in the formation of economic results and testifies to the absence of an effective investment management policy in the studied company. Some of the results obtained confirm the trends in IC structures previously observed for companies in other industries. The results also indicate that the existing system for preparing annual reports does not sufficiently consider the size, dynamics and efficiency of using the intangible assets of a trading company. The results of this study are likely to be useful to management and academics.

Abstract : Concern for the quality of life (quality of life) is the center of attention in the current state of the pandemic. Changes in the environment cause attention to be focused on the quality of life. In this study, the researcher will use qualitative methods so that this event can be understood without any theoretical limitations that separate the reader from the subject, but the reader can also feel, appreciate, and seem to be in the life of the subject. Through qualitative methods, events can be seen from the perspective of the author and the research subject. In this study, the research results were grouped into three main categories of responses as employees working during Covid-19. The first category is employees who feel dissatisfied with their situation since Covid-19, the second category is employees who feel dissatisfied with their situation but are still trying to accept it since Covid-19, while the last category is the category of employees who feel fine and supportive. the course of company policies during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study has answered the research question that EWB is very important for working employees, because EWB affects work engagement and motivation. Decreased work motivation will affect the way employees work as well. Income is thought to be one of the factors that affect welfare because everything does require money. However, EWB can still be fulfilled during this Covid-19 pandemic even though there is a decrease in income.

The article presents the results of an empirical study including an expert survey conducted in July-August, 2021 with the purpose of identifying opinions on the subject of formation of the regional identity and the historical memory policy in the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic. In total, 50 experts were interviewed representing scientific circles of various specialties (history, political science, sociology, philosophy, economics, and medicine). It is noted that the majority of respondents principally identify the following as the objective factors influencing the identity of residents: «natural potential», «national and cultural heritage», and «historical events». Experts mention the following main accents of the regional authorities in the policy of memory: «honoring» the «symbolic» figures», «establishment of local holidays and memorable dates», «formation and preservation of sites of commemoration». Using the method of content analysis, the key historical events, personalities and symbols of the regions have been determined, which are the most important according to experts. Thus, for the Altai Territory, such a role is assigned to the V.M. Shukshin, and the Big Kolyvan Vase has become the symbol of the region. According to the survey, the painter G.I. Gurkin is considered a «symbolic figure» of the Altai Republic, and the Belukha Mountain is mentioned as the key «site of commemoration». As the main recommendations of the respondents, the following is noted: «improvement of the quality of school education (regional history) », «designing an information space concerning the memorable events», and «making the strategies and practices aimed at solving the socio-economic problems of the regions». The results obtained are correlated with the existing research on this topic.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to review the variation in methods used to analyse lessons in order to improve teaching and learning. Design/methodology/approach It addresses the question of how observations of lessons can be analysed, and what approaches and methods are applicable in the analysis of collected data in lesson and learning studies. Findings In lesson studies, the focus of research varies, the content and context of lessons vary and a variety of qualitative methods are applied in the analysis of lessons. Lesson study is proving to be a versatile research approach to the development of the quality of teaching and learning. Originality/value This review provides an overview of some qualitative methods of content analysis used as analytic tools in the studies presented in this issue of the journal.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the opinion of hospital nurses on the use of quality indicators for nursing care. METHOD: Research based on the qualitative approach, conducted with 41 nurses from two charity hospitals in Minas Gerais, from September to October 2013. Interviews with a semi-structured script were used to collect data. The empirical data were organized by means of content analysis. RESULTS: Indicators are important for assessing the provided care, for improving the quality of care, and for defining strategies to achieve goals. CONCLUSIONS: The difficulties encountered when using these indicators revealed the following constituent elements: lack of time, inadequate number of professionals and lack of knowledge on the subject. It was concluded that nurses understand that indicators are instruments that enable evaluations and improvements, but their understanding of how to use these instruments is incomplete and fragmented.

The mass media is a means for searching information that is credible enough for the community. This study was actually motivated by a number of teachers of PPKn (Pancasila and Citizenship Education) who are currently assigning students to use the mass media as a source of learning. This use of media is a consequence of the implementation of Curriculum 2013, which requires students to collect information from outside the textbook. However, something has been overlooked by the teachers, namely how to explore the values from the text to be read. This study aims, firstly, to help the learning process by examining the contents of newspaper headlines, which contain messages of spiritual and social values; and, secondly, produce a model for teachers in using the mass media as a source of learning. The method used is content analysis. The results showed that in terms of textual analysis, the spiritual values most commonly found are "responsibility", followed by "justice"; and the highest social value is "social responsibility", followed by value of "caring". This study examines the types of arguments and supporting reasons of science teachers on socioscientific issues. The case study was used in this study conducted with seven science teachers. Data were collected through three scenarios developed about vaccination, curfew and distance education in the context of COVID-19. Within the context of the data obtained, the argument types of the teachers were evaluated through the deductive content analysis, and the supporting reasons they presented for their arguments were evaluated through the inductive content analysis. Study results showed that the science teachers offered more arguments, including a claim and the reasons supporting this claim and that the arguments where the pros and cons analysis was performed and the reasons for the different aspects of an issue are presented in detail could be presented less. In addition, although there were differences in the supporting reasons of the teachers according to the content of the scenario, these reasons were concentrated on the subject areas of health, social, value and personal experience. The findings can contribute to improving the science teachers’ argumentation qualifications and increasing the quality of in-class argumentation practices.

The research is focused on the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Croatia – March 2020. The subject of the research are humorous messages related to the pandemic. By combining quantitative and qualitative methods, this research showed how the interviewed respondents experienced the received humorous content related to the coronavirus and what content characteristics of the humorous messages were detected through the content analysis.

The purpose of this current research was to examine studies discussing Indonesian students’ kinesthetic intelligence in physical education. This study was conducted through a library research. Data was collected by sorting and selecting articles published in some reputable journals in the national scopes. From the result of the search, five articles were designated as the research data. For analyzing the data, a content analysis was used. Researchers used Campbell, Campbell Dickinson’s (1996) concept of multiple intelligence, more precisely kinesthetic intelligence to analyze the obtained data. The findings of the study reveal that the Indonesian physical education teachers still utilized traditional methods and strategies in teaching the subject to improve students’ kinesthetic intelligence. Moreover, the objectives of this subject were to equip students with competences to be physically active for lifetime. The implication of the studies mainly discussed the importance of uplifting the quality of physical education teachers to facilitate students’ kinesthetic intelligence development better. The present study also informs the possibility for future researchers to develop the findings of this article.
