Feminism is suspected of being a women’s rebellious movement to deny the nature of being a woman and as a driving force to obtain women rights. Feminist ideology demands gender injustice. In preaching, men dominate the spread of Islam than women. Although the implementation of da’wah is predominantly male, there are also many da'iyah in Indonesia, one of which is Ainun. Gender differences do not make Ainun despair in achieving her dream as a doctor. So that this becomes unique to examine. This research uses qualitative methods with a feminist approach. The result of this study was the determine Ainun da’wah massage in the movie Habibie & Ainun 3, as well as the problems of Ainun as a da’iyah in Indonesia. Ainun can be used as an aspiration and role model for Indonesian people in education, concern, and desire to realize their dreams.

Hollywood has experiences in shaping the lifestyle of the world. This research aims to figure out sustainable values represented on American remakes of Korean popular movies. It also has purpose to find out the reason behind the sustainability. The study applied semiotic theories from Christian Metz. Representation approach was also applied to reveal the values beneath the transnational remakes supported by qualitative methods. The results revealed that there were several Korean values remain in the remake version of Korean American movies. It also revealed that the audience demands and taste mainly influence sustainability of values as well as universality of the values believed by the audience becomes the driving force of the sustainability represented in the remake movies.

In this article we describe a research project where the objective was to analyze attitudes toward gender equality among male and female university students in Quito, Ecuador. The study methods included both quantitative and qualitative phases, and the results were then integrated. In the first stage of the research, we used inferential statistics to analyze differences in attitudes towards gender equality among 75 men and 75 women. In a next phase, we used constructivist qualitative methods to analyze the narratives of 22 subjects participating in three focus groups. In the quantitative phase, we found a statistically significant difference when comparing attitudes toward gender equality between the two groups of participants, where women were more favorable toward gender equality. In the qualitative phase we identified a common narrative theme in which women felt that they were in an unfavorable situation in terms of gender relations. In addition, a category emerged that described an awareness and a desire on the part of women to change this situation. Finally, we discuss the findings from previous research as well as theoretical aspects of gender equality.

This paper proposes to draw on René Girard’s “mimetic theory” to understand the phenomenon of violence and its escalation to extremes, from a non-instrumental perspective. This theory locates the origin of violence in the mimetic nature of acquisitive desires and it reveals, as its main historical antidote, the sacrifice of scapegoats. Accordingly, it suggests that violence and its various manifestations are a prime driving force in human history. Mainly, this paper addresses the possibility of dismantling this violence through Girard’s reading of the Apocalypse as the face of the current crisis and a call for hope. Both strands originate from the same episode: Christian Revelation, after dismantling the sacrificial apparatus and leaving men without sacred protection, presented the innocent victim par excellence —Christ— as the only role model able to stop the machinery of death.

Spiritual intelligence is someone's intelligence in giving meaning. Spiritual intelligence is more important than emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence. Because spiritual intelligence is a driving force for other intelligences. Therefore, this intelligence must be increased so that it can develop and can be a driving force for other intelligences. To improve spiritual intelligence, it should start as early as possible even since the child is still in the womb, this intelligence has begun to be planted. In this case, of course, the roles and skills of parents determine the process of improving children's spiritual intelligence. Because parents are the first educators for children. This study uses the library research method. The purpose of this study was to find out how the roles and steps of parents in improving children's spiritual intelligence and what factors are supporting in increasing children's spiritual intelligence. The results of this study indicate that in an effort to improve children's spiritual intelligence, parents are the main role. Both his role as an educator, as a role model, as a motivator and as a giver of love. Because in the process there are many obstacles and factors that affect children's spiritual intelligence.

Nanometer period Ru/C multilayers are one of the prime candidates for normal incident reflecting mirrors at wavelengths < 10 nm. Superior performance, which requires uniform layers and smooth interfaces, and high stability of the layered structure under thermal loadings are some of the demands in practical applications. Previous studies however show that the Ru layers in the 2 nm period Ru/C multilayer agglomerate upon moderate annealing, and the layered structure is no longer retained. This agglomeration and crystallization of the Ru layers upon annealing to form almost spherical crystallites is a result of the reduction of surface or interfacial energy from die amorphous high energy non-equilibrium state of the as-prepared sample dirough diffusive arrangements of the atoms. Proposed models for mechanism of thin film agglomeration include one analogous to Rayleigh instability, and grain boundary grooving in polycrystalline films. These models however are not necessarily appropriate to explain for the agglomeration in the sub-nanometer amorphous Ru layers in Ru/C multilayers. The Ru-C phase diagram shows a wide miscible gap, which indicates the preference of phase separation between these two materials and provides an additional driving force for agglomeration. In this paper, we study the evolution of the microstructures and layered structure via in-situ Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), and attempt to determine the order of occurence of agglomeration and crystallization in the Ru layers by observing the diffraction patterns.
