he purpose of this study was to increase the activities and results of Indonesian language learning in the exposition text material of class X IS 3 SMAN 4 Banda Aceh. The learning model used in this study is the CTL learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class X IS 3 SMAN 4 Banda Aceh. The number of students is 35 students with 16 male students and 19 female students. This research was conducted in the 2019/2020 school year for a period of 3 months, from August 2019 to October 2019 in the odd semester. The research methodology is Classroom Action Research (PTK) consisting of two cy-cles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observ-ing and reflecting. The data collection technique is to collect test scores that are carried out at the end of each lesson in each cycle using a question instrument (written test). Observation data was carried out by looking at the activeness of students in the learning process. Data were analyzed by means of percentage statistics. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activities in both cycles, from good enough to good categories and to very good categories. Completeness of student learning outcomes has increased from 48.57% in the pre cycle increased to 68.57% in cycle I and increased to 88.57% in cycle II. The use of the CTL learning model can increase the activities and results of Indone-sian language learning in the exposition text material of class X IS 3 SMAN 4 Banda Aceh Academic Year 2019/2020

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di Kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-post test control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen 47 dan standar deviasi 17,04 sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas kontrol 40 dan standar deviasi 13,40. Data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknis statistik parametris yaitu uji t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai ????tabel = 1,67 dan ????hitung = 2,96 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. The hypothesis is that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model. The type of research is a quasi experiment. Design of research is pre-post control design. The population of this research is all students of class IX  MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu with samples taken by cluster random sampling technique. The average score of the experiment class students is 47 and standard deviation is 17.04 and the average score of the control class students is 40 and standard deviation is 13.40. The data is normal distribution and homogen, hypothesis test using t test. Results of hypothesis test obtained value ????table = 1.67 and ????count = 2.96 it means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This indicated that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model have better than mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on the ability to understand the concepts of class VII students of SMP 16 Kota Bengkulu. The research carried out was quasi-experimental with a population of all students in class VII of SMP 16 Kota Bengkulu totaling 218 students. Samples were taken by random sampling technique and a sample of 60 students was obtained, 30 students in the VIIA class as the experimental class, 30 students in the VIIE class as the control class. Data collection using Instrument concept understanding ability test. Data analysis techniques using Ancova. The results showed that there was the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on the conceptual comprehension ability of seventh grade students in Bengkulu City 16 Junior High School at 80.50% with an average of 82.75 and there was an effect of an initial ability of 60.50% with an average average of 82.80. It can be concluded that the ability to understand students' concepts is better by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model.

This research aims to know: (1) the effect of Mind Mapping learning model to the concept understanding students (2) the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning model to concept understanding students (3) which is better between of Mind Mapping Learning Model and Contextual Teaching and LearningModel to concept understanding students.This research a quasi-experimental research with population covering all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pulung that is consisted of five classes. From five classes, classes VIIC and VIIE were randomly choosen as the sample. Then two classes were taken randomly to determine the type of treatment to be given. Class VIIC was taught by using the Mind Mapping Learning Model and class VIIE was taught by Contextual Teaching and Learning Model. The data collection techniques were a test while the instrument used to collect understanding concept test.The data collection techniques to know is there any understanding concept students is given of treatment Mind Mapping Learning Model betterthan understanding concept students is given of treatment Contextual Teaching and Learning Model  by t-test.The result show that at the significance level of 0.05, concept understanding students more taught by using the Mind Mapping Learning Model was better  than Contextual Teaching and Learning Model.

<p><em>The study, entitled Efforts to Improve Understanding the Concept of the Benefits of Energy Sources through the Guided Discovery Learning Model of Elementary School Students in Class IV Semester 1 SD Negeri Sidasari 03 which aims to improve students' understanding of the concept of the benefits of energy sources with 11 research subjects consisting of 7 male students. male and 4 female students. This research was conducted because the students' conceptual understanding of the benefits of energy was still low. In cycle I, it shows that 3 students (60%) have completed, 2 students (40%) have not completed, and 6 students have not been able to take part in online evaluation activities. The research was continued in Cycle II with the results in cycle II showing 4 students (36%) who did not complete, 7 students (64%) of 11 students who did not complete. The use of the Guided Discovery Learning model can improve understanding of the concept of energy sources.</em></p>

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui angket dan data pemahaman konsep matematika dikumpulkan melalui tes.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik infrensial. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent samplet T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan model reciprocal teaching motivasi belajar siswa yang sebelumnya 35% berada pada kategori tinggi kemudian meningkat menjadi 95%, dapat pula dilihat peningkatannya dari rata-rata motivasi belajar awal siswa yaitu 68,35 kemudian meningkat menjadi 84,00. Pemahaman konsep matematika siswa juga meningkat setelah diterapkannya model reciprocal teaching yang sebelumnya 15% berada pada kategori tinggi meningkat menjadi 55%, dengan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman konsep awal yaitu 46,50 meningkat menjadi 80,05. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching efektif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa.AbstractThe aims of this study were to improve the students' learning motivation and understanding mathematical concept by applying reciprocal teaching learning model. Data of learning motivation was collected through questionnaire and data of understanding mathematical concept was collected through tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive and infrential statistics. Hypothesis testing used was Independent Samplet Test. The findings showed that after the implementation of reciprocal teaching model, the students' motivation in learning improve from 35% to 95%. It could also be seen that the average of the students' initial learning motivation increased from 68.35 to 84.00. The understanding of the students' mathematical concept also improve after the implementation of reciprocal teaching model which previously was 15% in the high category increased to 55%, with an increase in the average of initial concept understanding from 46.50 to 80.05.  Thus, the application of reciprocal teaching learning model is effective to improve the students' learning motivation and understanding mathematical concept.

This research aims to find out students' responses toward guided inquiry learning model. The method used is pre-experimental design. The population of this research were 165 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. The research subjects were 24 students of class VIII-4. The data were collected by using questionnaires and then analyzed descriptively by calculating the average of each aspect. Likert Scale questionnaire was converted into a quantitative scale. The statements in the questionnaires were consisted of positive and negative statements. The questionnaires were given to the students after implementing guided inquiry model. The results showed that students responded positively to the model developed, indicated that guided inquiry learning model is very helpful and train students to work independently. It contributed to the process of critical thinking and help students to understand the photosynthesis concept.

The aims of this research to gain the result of effect TANDUR model to mathematical concept understanding and student’s mathematical reasoning. This research was quasi experiment with pretest-postest control group design. The population in this research was students of seventh grade SMP N 2 Natar academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique used random sampling technique and divided onto two groups, experiment group and control group. The results of this research were: 1) there was influence of TANDUR learning model to mathematical concept understanding. 2) there were influence of TANDUR learning model to mathematical reasoning. 3) TANDUR model learning can affect simultaneously of mathematical concept understanding and mathematical reasoning.
