The diversity of beliefs in Javanese dynamism is the object of cultural reflection in postcolonial societies in the novel Entrok by Okky Madasari. The beliefs of the postcolonial Javanese community were dominant with Javanese traditions handed down by ancestors and the results of acculturation that formed the compilation of the colonial period. The purpose of this article is the conversion of Javanese post-colonial beliefs in Entrok's novel that reflects Javanese traditions handed down by ancestors or the results of acculturation that formed the compilation of the colonial period. This article uses descriptive methods using qualitative methods, using literature study techniques, and data analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusions. This article contains the dynamism beliefs about belief in Kawi Mount, sacred trees, tuyul, and witchcraft.

The Arab Spring

This study aim to explain phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria and describing the triggering factors of conflict Syria and the analysis of Alawie group in Syria. The type of this study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, because the data collection techniques used make books and documents related to the Arab spring in Syria as a reference frame, as well as some data from a valid website. Data analysis techniques through three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions in which data verification is also accompanied by triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria converged on inter-ethnic conflict that occurred between the Sunni-Alawie, then triggered by the phenomenon of Arab spring that spread in the Middle East.

This research aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in improving the quality of education in Zulhijjah Muara Bulian boarding school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed kiai has four roles, in improving the quality of education, namely educators, administrators, managers, and supervisors. Improving the quality of education is done by pursuing the welfare of teachers and contributing thought to the progress of the region and able to become cadres of scholars who will lead the ummah in the future by maintaining educational inputs, processes, and outputs.

This research aims to describe the types and meanings that appear in lexical cohesion in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The benefits of this research are theoretical and practical benefits. This research uses descriptive qualitative recearch. The data of this research are in the form of words and phrases contained in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye, the source of data in this study is a collection of texts in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. In this research, the writer uses descriptive method, using documentation technique, namely reading and taking notes. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of this research data uses triangulation theory. based on the results of the research found, there are as many as 97 lexical cohesion data in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The results of the lexical cohesion research data contained in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye include the types of repetitions as many as 55 data, which consists of 12 data epizeukis repetitions, 3 data repetition of tautotes, 14 data of anaphora repetitions, 11 data of epistropha repetition, simploke repetition of 3 data, 9 data for mesodiplosis repetition, 2 data for epanalepsis repetition, and 1 data for anadiplosis repetition. Then the type of synonymous lexical cohesion is 6 data, antonym is 18 data, collocation is 6 data, hyponym is 5 data, and finally equivalence 7 data.Key words: lexical cohesion, novel Pergi, Tere Liye

The recent research is related to the cultural hegemony which is contained within the novel Merpati Kembar di Lombok written by Nuriadi. The problems to be studied are the form of cultural hegemony which is contained within the novel Merpati Kembar di Lombok written by Nuriadi. Then the objectives of this research are describing the form of cultural hegemony. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Documentary method and note-taking technique are applied during data collection. Meanwhile, data analysis is conducted by applying the theory of hegemony proposed by Antonio Gramsci with several steps to follow such as data identification, data reduction, data analysis, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Then, the results of data analysis are: the form of cultural hegemony committed by the noble group/society within the novel Merpati Kembar di Lombok is categorized into two levels namely declining hegemony and minimum hegemony.

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Cluster Learning System during the Covid-19 pandemic in 3T schools. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Budong-budong, geographically this school is located in Mamuju Tengah District, West Sulawesi Province. Central Mamuju Regency is one of the underdeveloped districts in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative approach to describe the implementation of the Cluster Learning System during the Covid-19 pandemic in 3T schools. Data obtained through observation, interview, and documentation study techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis process used data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Hubermen which consisted of three activity lines, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. From the research results, it was found that in implementing the Cluster Learning System there were 3 stages carried out by the SMP Negeri 7 Budong-budong, namely the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. In addition, in the application of the Cluster Learning System at SMP Negeri 7 Budong, there are several advantages and disadvantages.

This study discusses the analysis of deixis eksofora and endofora in the Jawa Pos Opinion column, March 29, 2017 edition. Researcher used qualitative methods with the object of research entitled Surrender or Cheating Type by Azrul Ananda. This study uses data documentation collection techniques in the network accessed on April 19, 2017 through Jawa Pos Online page. Data analysis technique used consists of four stages, including data collection phase, data reduction phase, data presentation phase, and conclusion withdrawal phase. The results show that Azrul Ananda in March 29, 2017 edition Opini column exploits the ecotoxid deixis persona, time, and space. The author Azrul Ananda also used the deoption of anaphoric endofora persona or not persona, but did not use the deoption endofora katafora persona or not persona. Discriminative treatment and zainichi identity crisis have often focused on zainichi-themed literary and media works. In terminology, zainichi is a term for ethnic Koreans living in Japan. Koreans are victims because of their minority, and Japanese are portrayed as perpetrators who discriminate against them. This study focuses on the representation of Japanese people through the main characters in the film Zainichi, Hotaru (2001) and For Those We Love (2007), which are the objects of this research. This study uses the representation theory by Stuart Hall to propose how Japanese people are represented in the zainichi film media. This research uses documentation and literature study techniques for data collection and descriptive qualitative methods for data analysis The results showed that the representation of the Japanese through the main characters in the two films emphasized more the positive or humanist Japanese characters: 1) people who respect other nations; 2) people who are compassionate and appreciate human values; 3) people who are considerate; 4) trustworthy people; 5) people who are loyal and committed to their friends and lovers.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the morphology of folklore based on Vladimir Propp's theory and method of researching Narratology structure including the structure of the actor's action function, the function in the action environment, and the scheme. This research method is descriptive qualitative and the method developed by Vladimir Propp. The object of research is the Batu Naga Lampung folklore. The technique of data collection is done by the documentation technique through a literature study. Data analysis techniques use the flow method that is data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study found there are 26 functions of the perpetrators' actions that are distributed into 6 action environments.

Ethnomatematics is mathematics that is contained in culture. The purpose of this research is to examine the material of the sadulur batik lebak banten motif through aspects of halal products. The research method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques used are literature study, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity checks were carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, using reference materials. The result of this research is that in the batik sadulur motif of lebak banten, there is a halal aspect of the material used in the form of batik cloth, the equipment used such as cloth, chanting and coloring.

The purpose of this study is to describe the character values ​​in the novel Anak-Langit by Mohd Amin MS and to foster and apply character to students of MI, because it is seen from the phenomena that occur in Indonesia today such as the occurrence of bad habits , fighting, cheating, dishonesty, and disrespect for parents. This study uses a qualitative approach, with content analysis methods. The type of research used is literature study. The technique of collecting data is documentation study, which means that the data used can be done by examining children's novels from heaven and looking for relevant documents or books and literature. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion / verification. Based on the results of this study, it shows that there are 18 characters in the novel Anak-Langit, namely religious, honest, responsibility, discipline, hard-working, creative, independent, curiosity, fond of reading, respect for achievement, democratic, social care, friendly. communicative, tolerant, spirit of nationality, love the country, love peace, and care for the environment. As for implementing these 18 characters, it is in activities or programs provided in the school environment such as extracurricular, intraculricular and other routine activities that can be used as a habit for MI. Keyword: Value of Character Education, Novel Anak-anak Langit, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter yang ada dalam novel Anak-anak Langit Karya Mohd Amin MS serta untuk membina dan menerapkan karakter kepada siswa MI, karena dilihat dari fenomena yang terjadi di Indonesia saat ini seperti terjadinya kebiasaan-kebiasaan buruk, perkelahian, menyontek, tidak jujur, dna tidak menghormati orangtua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode analisis isi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi dokumentasi yang artinya data-data yang digunakan dapat dilakukan dengan menelaah novel anak-anak langit dan mencari dokumen atau buku yang relevan dan studi pustaka. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada 18 karakter yang ada didalam novel Anak-anak Langit yaitu religius, jujur, tanggung jawab, disiplin, bekerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, gemar membaca, menghargai prestasi, demokratis, peduli sosial, bersahabat/komunikatif, toleransi, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, cinta damai, dan peduli lingkungan. Adapun dalam menerapkan ke-18 karakter ini adalah dalam kegiatan-kegiatan atau program-program yang disediakan di lingkungan sekolah seperti ekstrakulikuler, intrakulikuler serta kegiatan-kegiatan rutin lainnya yang dapat dijadikan kebiasaan untuk siswa MI.
