The purpose of this study is to describe the character values ​​in the novel Anak-Langit by Mohd Amin MS and to foster and apply character to students of MI, because it is seen from the phenomena that occur in Indonesia today such as the occurrence of bad habits , fighting, cheating, dishonesty, and disrespect for parents. This study uses a qualitative approach, with content analysis methods. The type of research used is literature study. The technique of collecting data is documentation study, which means that the data used can be done by examining children's novels from heaven and looking for relevant documents or books and literature. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion / verification. Based on the results of this study, it shows that there are 18 characters in the novel Anak-Langit, namely religious, honest, responsibility, discipline, hard-working, creative, independent, curiosity, fond of reading, respect for achievement, democratic, social care, friendly. communicative, tolerant, spirit of nationality, love the country, love peace, and care for the environment. As for implementing these 18 characters, it is in activities or programs provided in the school environment such as extracurricular, intraculricular and other routine activities that can be used as a habit for MI. Keyword: Value of Character Education, Novel Anak-anak Langit, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter yang ada dalam novel Anak-anak Langit Karya Mohd Amin MS serta untuk membina dan menerapkan karakter kepada siswa MI, karena dilihat dari fenomena yang terjadi di Indonesia saat ini seperti terjadinya kebiasaan-kebiasaan buruk, perkelahian, menyontek, tidak jujur, dna tidak menghormati orangtua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode analisis isi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi dokumentasi yang artinya data-data yang digunakan dapat dilakukan dengan menelaah novel anak-anak langit dan mencari dokumen atau buku yang relevan dan studi pustaka. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada 18 karakter yang ada didalam novel Anak-anak Langit yaitu religius, jujur, tanggung jawab, disiplin, bekerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, gemar membaca, menghargai prestasi, demokratis, peduli sosial, bersahabat/komunikatif, toleransi, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, cinta damai, dan peduli lingkungan. Adapun dalam menerapkan ke-18 karakter ini adalah dalam kegiatan-kegiatan atau program-program yang disediakan di lingkungan sekolah seperti ekstrakulikuler, intrakulikuler serta kegiatan-kegiatan rutin lainnya yang dapat dijadikan kebiasaan untuk siswa MI. This study aim to explain phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria and describing the triggering factors of conflict Syria and the analysis of Alawie group in Syria. The type of this study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, because the data collection techniques used make books and documents related to the Arab spring in Syria as a reference frame, as well as some data from a valid website. Data analysis techniques through three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions in which data verification is also accompanied by triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria converged on inter-ethnic conflict that occurred between the Sunni-Alawie, then triggered by the phenomenon of Arab spring that spread in the Middle East.

The research aims to analyze and describe exocentric phrase that include the form, stucture, and semantics (the relation between grammatical elements) that contained in the novel Kembang Kembang Petingan by Holisoh M.E. In this study used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Technique used in collecting data is a literature study. The data analysis technique used in this study is direct elemental analysis techniques. The data source used in this study is Novel Kembang Kembang Petingan by Holisoh M.E. The results of this research have 1133 phrase with 1658 frekuesi and describe three things, (1) exocentric phrase divided into two types of phrase, direktif phrase and relative phrase, (2) stucture of exocentric phrase have four general stucture and eleven substucture, and (3) semantics (the  relation between grammatical elements) have twelve relation gramatical of direktif phrase and two relation gramatical of relative phrase in the Kembang novel Kembang Petingan by Holisoh ME. Based on research can be concluded phrase exocentric in Kembang Kembang Petingan novel by Holisoh M.E can be examined in aspects form, stucture, and relation grammatical elements. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan frasa eksosentrik yang meliputi bentuk, struktur, dan semantik (hubungan antarunsur gramatikal) yang terdapat dalam novel Kembang Kembang Petingan karya Holisoh M.E. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah tehnik studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis unsur langsung. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Kembang Kembang Petingan karya Holisoh M.E. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 1133 frasa eksosentrik dengan frekuensi 1658 kali, lalu mendeskripsikan tiga hal yaitu (1) bentuk frasa eksosentik yang terdiri atas data 2 jenis frasa yaitu frasa direktif dan relatif, (2) struktur frasa eksosentrik yang memiliki 4 pola utama dan 11 subpola, dan (3) semantik (hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal) yang terdiri atas 12 hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal frasa direktif dan 2 hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal frasa relatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa frasa eksosentrik mempunyai bentuk, struktur, dan hubungan gramatikal antarunsurnya yang berkaitan dengan kajian struktur dan semantik.

Purpose of the study: This study will investigate how the implementation of the answer of three questions (1), the values of East Java local wisdom which suit to be integrated with material of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKN (2) how the teacher integrates East Java local wisdom in content of PPKn, (3) the citizenship attitude of the students which suit with material of PPKn based on the values of East Java local wisdom. Methodology: This research study using a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques using a method of interview, observation and research documentation. The location of this research is at SMA Negeri 1 Jombang. Data analysis techniques used consist of three threads of activity: data reduction, data presentation, withdrawal of conclusions/verification. Main Findings: The finding of results shows (1) there are so many values of East Java local wisdom which can be integrated into the material of PPKn, with the base of the philosophy concept is Character Education Strengthening (PPK). (2) there are no particular guidelines for teachers to integrate East Java local wisdom into the material of PPKn, neither in planning nor implementation. Teachers combine spontaneously, usually in apperception and reflection step. (3) The attitude of solidarity with the spirit of local wisdom must be emphasized. Applications of this study: This study is useful in assessing the teacher competencies in developing material of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) based on East Java local wisdom informing the citizenship attitude of the students. Novelty/Originality of this study: Integrating the lesson based on local wisdom.

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan ikon, indeks dan simbol yang terdapat dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma karya Boby Julian. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah teknik baca simak dan teknik catat untuk mencari kutipan yang termasuk kedalam semiotik ikon, indeks, dan simbol, lalu menjadikan data tersebut sebagai bahan analisis. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan Reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan verifikasi. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma  ialah ikon waktu, tempat, perasaan, keadaan alam, dan keadaan seseorang. Indeks yang terdapat dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma yaitu indeks  hubungan antara alam dengan kehidupan, kehidupan dengan keadaan, dan segala perbuatan manusia dengan segala balasannya. Simbol yang terdapat dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma yaitu berkaitan dengan hakikat kehidupan manusia sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: semiotik, ikon, indeks, simbol, novel Abstract: This paper aims to describe the use of icons, indexes and symbols contained in Boby Julian's novel: 121 Hari di Shimotsuma. The research method was descriptive qualitative using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were reading and note-taking techniques to find quotations that were included in semiotic icons, indexes, and symbols. The data then were used as material for analysis. Data analysis techniques were performed by data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of data analysis obtained in the novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma were icons of time, place, feelings, natural conditions, and one's condition. The index contained in the novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma was an index of the relationship between nature and life, life with conditions, and human actions with all reward and punishment. The symbols contained in the novel 121 Hari in Shimotsuma were related to the essence of everyday human life.Keywords: semiotic, icon, index, symbol, novel

This study aims to find out the strategies implemented by the principal in order to improve the quality of tahfizh education in SD PTQ Annida Salatiga. This study is a field study with a qualitative approach. The location of this study is in SD PTQ Annida Salatiga, Central Java. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. There are 3 aspects that are targeted from improving the quality of tahfizh education. First, the improvement of the quality of human resources in this case is reserved for teachers who support the tahfizh program. This improvement in the quality of human resources is implemented through teacher self-training, learning supervision, lesson study and peer assessment, as well as the construction of recitations. Second, the implementation of standard operating procedures (POS) implemented by tahfizh teachers in teaching. Third, improve communication and good cooperation with parents.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami secara komprehensif nilai-nilai humaniora dalam antologi puisi "Blues untuk Bonnie" karya WS Rendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis isi melalui kajian struktural semiotik. Hasil penelitian yakni antologi puisi Blues untuk Bonnie karya WS Rendra mengandung nilai-nilai humaniora yang terlihat melalui tanda-tanda semiotik berupa moralitas, simpati, empati, kasih sayang, kepedulian, kerjasama, dan toleransi. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa masih banyak jenis-jenis karya sastra yang dapat dijadikan objek kajian dengan menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan yang berbeda untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan terutama pendidikan karakter bagi siswa dan mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi terhadap pengajaran sastra di sekolah lanjutan sampai perguruan tinggi dalam bentuk penyusunan bahan ajar atau pengembangan model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah pendidikan karater bangsa. Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai humaniora, antologi puisi, kajian struktural semiotik Abstract The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the humanities values in antology of poetry "Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra. The research used content analysis method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are used library study and data analysis techniques with content analysis through the study of structuralism semiotic. The result was the antology of poetry 'Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra contains humanities values seen through semiotic signs are morality, symphaty, empbaty, love, care, togetherness, and tolerant. The findings lead to the recomendation that there are still many kinds of literary works which can be the object of research by using different approaches for investigating education characters! values for students. This finding implicates to literary instruction in schools to universities in forms of teaching materials or literary appreciation instruction as one of the alternative problem solving of the nation character education. <em>This article is based on research that aims to align Hindu education with industrial development 4.0, which is an era of disruption in order to make it able to answer challenges also able to overcome the massive obstacles of Hindu education implementation without losing the essence of it.</em><em> The research has been conducted by a qualitative approach; data were collected by the technique of observation, interview, documentation, and literature study; the data analysis utilized descriptive technique. The result of the research showed there are three important things that Hindu education needs to attempt, those are (1) switching the old mindset which is chained by the bureaucratic become the disruptive mindset that put cooperative ways forward, (2) applying self-driving in order to create reforms as the demand of 4.0 era, (3) has to be able to develop a digital basis new service system. Finally, it can be concluded that science and technology development in the global age delivers challenges and obstacles to Hindu education which also continues to develop and change. Therefore, Hindu education in this disruption revolution era 4.0 has been demanded to be sensitive to community social changing phenomenons, willing to do self-disruption through character education because if it persistence to stay on the old method and management also being sealed from the dynamic world, its existence will be slumped and underdeveloped.</em>

Character education is closely related to moral education, which is to shape and train individual abilities continuously for self-improvement towards a better life. Novel is a literary work that can convey the values of character education. The research aims to analyzing the values of character education in the novel 5 cm by Donny dhirgantoro. This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive design method. the data analysis technique by reading the entire data, analyzing the data in more detail and restating the data by described and interpreting the data. The result of this study are the value of character education  contained in the novel “ 5 cm” by Donny Dhirgantoro, namely, religious, hard work, love to read, friendly and communicative, social care,  and love  the homeland.

This study aims to determine the intrinsic elements and the value of character education in the Pawang Ternalem drama script, as well as to determine the benefits of the analysis of drama scripts as teaching materials for Indonesian in Grade VIII. This study uses qualitative methods with data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data processing, the research results show that in the Pawang Ternalem drama script there are intrinsic elements including themes, characters and characterizations, plot, setting, language style in dialogue, and mandate. In addition to the intrinsic elements of the drama script, 10 character education values were found, namely the values of religious character education, honesty, tolerance, hard work, creative, independent, respect for achievement, friendly / communicative, social care, and responsibility.

The purpose of this study was to find out the value of religious character in the school environment in class IV SDN NO 20 / I Jembatan Mas. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The implementation of this research was in SD Negeri 20 / I Jembatan Mas. Administratively it entered the Pemayung District of Batanghari Regency. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The conclusion of this study is the role of the teacher in planting religious character in the school environment for fourth grade students SDN No.20 / I Jembatan Mas has sought to maximize using the role as an educator while acting as a teacher, both inside and outside the class and has been categorized well. By means of spending time to pray in congregation with discipline and discipline in the mosque, good manners to speak between students, students and teachers, dressing close to genitals, cultivating smiles, greetings and greetings, pairing the work of students in the form of photos and motto containing messages religious values. but it is expected that the need for participation is not only from the implementation but also the support of the role of the family and the community around the students need to be considered. In religious values ​​can also be contained in the form of; the spirit of sacrifice, caring for others, helping each other, the behavior of the tradition of prayer in congregation, love to pray, diligent study and other noble behavior.
