The objective of this research was to prove that the administration of radish tuber extract (Rhapanus sativus L) to female mice (Mus musculus) might increase blood prolactin level. This was an experimental research using complete randomized design by involving three treatment groups and three control group, each with five replications. Materials consisted of radish tuber extract and 30 female mice of 8 weeks old divided into 6 groups, i.e., control groups of C1, C2, and C3, and treatment groups of T1, T2, and T3. C1, C2, and C3 groups were given water of 1x 0.5 cc/day per oral, 2x0.5 cc/day, and 3x0.5 cc/day respectively. Treatment groups of T1, T2, and T3 were given radish tuber extract of respectively 1x0.5 cc/day per oral, 2x0.5 cc/day, and 1x0.5 cc/day. Treatment was carried out for 21 days. Blood was subsequently taken from those rats for blood prolactin level. Data were analyzed using Anove test. If the results indicated significant difference of 95 percent (p = 0.05), the analysis was continued with LSD. The conclusions of this experiment is the administration of radish tuber extract per oral may result in the increase of blood prolactin level.

This study aims to determine the effect of the water boiled leaves of Clidemia hirta on blood sugar levels in Swiss Webster mice (Mus musculus). This research using a completely randomized design research design (CRD) with 5 treatment groups namely; Aquades control group (P0), 3 g sucrose treatment (P1), 3 g sucrose treatment + boiled bristle leaves boiled water at a dose of 0.13 ml/KgBB (P2), 3 g sucrose treatment + boiled bristle leaves boiled water at a dose of 0.26 ml/KgBB (P3), 3 g treatment of sucrose + boiled bristle leaves boiled water at a dose of 0.39 ml/KgBB (P4). Before administration of the extract, mice in the treatment groups P1, P2, P3 & P4 were induced using 3 g of sucrose for 5 days. Then after 5 days for groups P2, P3, and P4 followed by giving boiled water leaves for 7 days. The analysis result of One Way Anova Test shows that Fcount > Ftable (18.86 > 2.51). This shows the boiled water affects the blood sugar levels of male Swiss Webster mice. The concentration of extract at P4 (0.39 ml/KgBB) was more effective in reducing blood sugar levels.

<em>The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of polysaccharide krestin</em> (<em>PSK) </em><em>on the testicular protein profiles and testosterone levels of Mus musculus with variety of dosages. This research used a completely randomized design. It were devide into four treatment group i.e. control group, PSK treatment at a dose of  15, 30, 60 mg/kgBW. Each group had six replications. Testicular proteins were isolated by flushing technique and analized by SDS-PAGE. Testosterone levels were analized using ELISA technique at wavelength 450 nm. Protein bands analysis showed that there were no diversification between four treatments. Molecular weight of protein bands were 87, 63, 57, 35, and 30 kDa. The results of research showed that the testosterone levels at dosage 60 mg/kgBW had significanly different with control, PSK treatment of 15 and 30 mg/kgBW. PSK treatment of  60 mg/kgBW had lowest level at dosage, i.e. 25946.8 ρg/mL. It can be concluded that giving variety of dosages of polysaccharide krestin did not affect to testicular protein profiles but giving effect to testosterone levels of Mus musculus.</em>

The sap of ambonese banana (Musa paradisiaca var sapientum) contain flavonoids, saponins, tannins which have beenwidely used by people in Trunyan Bali as traditional medicine on wound healing, and it has been reported as apotential wound healing after tooth extraction. The aim of this research was to determine the level of safety of usingherbal medicine, ambonese banana stem extract on histopatology liver of mice with LDparameters. This experimentalstudy was performed bythe post test only controlled group design. The sample were 28 mice (Mus musculus) randomlydivided into 4 groups. K group as control group was given aquadest. P1, P2, and P3, as treatment groups were givenambonese banana stem extract with dose 0.42g/20gbw, 2.1g/20gbw, 4.2g/20gbw. The extract was given per-oral withsonde on the first day. On day 3, the mice were terminated, and the livers were microscopically histopathological observed. The observed at 3th50 day, there were no deaths in every groups of mice (K, P1, P2, and P3) on the third day observation. Kruskal Wallis test showed there was not significant difference in histopathological appearance on liverof mice (p=0.771). It wasconcluded that the maximumsafety dose that can still be administered is 0.42g/20gbw followingthe LDparameter. Theacute toxicity test of ambonese banana stem extract did not show necrosis on liver but it showedthe highest simple degeneration than all groups which were given 0.42g/20gbw dose.
