This paper develops the theme of youth education and training by following at least three fields of analysis, which are mutually interrelated. The training process, the role of educational agencies, and pedagogy will be investigated in light of a new interpretation of the image of young people and of the one of youth that is free from rhetoric and clichés. A close look will be taken to the characteristics of current anthropology trends, focusing on the impact that such categories as "fear" and "risk" exert on training processes. The ultimate aim of this investigation will be to outline the main traits of youth crisis from a pedagogical perspective in terms of a crisis of personal development and human fulfilment, which is even more important than professional fulfilment, and of the transformations affecting rational and non-rational dimensions of the person. By referring to the social condition and to the range of interpretive paradigms inherent in current epistemologies, the paper is aimedto findthe source of the demand that young people directly and indirectly express today also through non-verbal languages, alternative "signs" and "images" that do not fall within the traditional pedagogical canon. The function of pedagogy will therefore be redefined both in theory and in practice on the basis of the need to understand the real human reality, thus interpreting its needs. At the same time, the educational operariwill be re-thought, so as to ensure that in today's reflective democracies the purpose regarded by Raffaele Laporta as the "educational absolute" is achieved. This coincides with authentic freedom, with the most accomplished form of humanization and with the highest level of personal existence, identified as essential conditions for the freedom of learning that corresponds to the freedom of life.

Although sport is widely utilised as a tool for personal development, capacity building, and fostering peace, there are still numerous theoretical gaps in our knowledge about how sport influences individuals’ identities, and how this translates into their everyday lives. Within the academic literature there has been seemingly little focus placed upon participants’ emotional and embodied accounts of their sport-for-development (SfD) experiences. This paper uses phenomenologically-inspired theory to explore individuals’ lived experiences of a SfD course, and their descriptions of the social interactions and feelings of confidence they encountered, in order to address this lack of experiential data. An ethnographic methodology was used to collect data through four sports leadership course observations, and cyclical interviews over 4–10 months with eleven course attendees, plus individual interviews with five tutors. Participants’ understandings of their course experiences and the subsequent influence these understandings had on their lives were described through their use of the term confidence. A further phenomenological and sociological interrogation of this term enabled confidence to be seen as being experienced as a ‘frame’ and ‘through the body’ by participants. This study provides original conceptualisations of confidence in relation to participants’ SfD experiences, as well as important discussions regarding the role of emotions and embodiment in understanding the impact of SfD on participants’ everyday lives.

In Italy, as in many countries, it is difficult to measure the phenomenon of youthful deviance and associate it with the role of educational institutions in growth and training. It is a silent, hidden, overbearing bond, which is not measurable by the indicators represented in the social, psychological and economic systems and which often hides one or many truths (misunderstandings, personal, family and socio-economic distress, baby crime, gang initiation). We will try to highlight the elements of this link.What can be done to reduce the discomfort of young people that very often results in aggressive behavior towards themselves and towards others?

Social networks are considered an ontological attribute of the existence of a modern person. The modern ideas describe an important role of the system of social networks in socialization and adaptation of a person, motivation to the social activity, assistance and support in difficult life situations. The studies of criminals’ social networks show their significance in motivation to crime, formation of criminal ideology. Besides, it is proved that the quality of social networks impacts the prevention and suppression of crimes among teenagers and young people. However, the attitudes of young people towards the social environment and their relationship to it are still not properly studied. Understanding it will allow explaining the impact of the social environment on the criminalization and social rehabilitation of young people. Objective of the research: to study the parameters of social networks of delinquent young people including the comparison with the similar parameters of law-abiding young people. Methods. The data collection method is a questionnaire that describes the parameters of social networks, i.e. volume, stability, homogeneity, subordination, and referentiality. The method of results processing is descriptive statistics and also a non-parametric analogue of the one-way ANOVA test (Kruskal-Wallis test). The research sample was made up of 220 people of 18-27 years old, 73.5% of respondents were men; among the participants in the research, 115 people have been convicted of committing a crime, 105 people are law-abiding and do not have any criminal record. Results and novelty: New data were obtained about the specific character of social networks of delinquent young people with regard to the small volume of relations, homogeneity of participants, low refenetiality of the social environment; the perspectives of the study of the social networks in the conditions of the social regulation of interaction were determined taking into account the sex and social and cultural specific character.

O artigo analisa dimensões de um projeto desenvolvido no Brasil nos anos 2000 para atender aos jovens pobres e em situação de exclusão escolar, aqueles que por um elenco de fatores não conseguiram terminar o ensino fundamental, ou seja, os nove anos de escolaridade que abrangem esse nível de ensino. Abordamos aqui alguns aspectos do Programa Nacional de Inclusão de Jovens – ProJovem. A análise focaliza as seguintes questões: Em que consistiu esse programa? Qual a repercussão do Projovem na produção acadêmica brasileira? Quais os limites e os avanços desse Programa para a superação dos problemas enfrentados pelos jovens com baixa escolaridade? Assim, o texto tem o objetivo de refletir sobre a função de uma política pública com importância histórica, voltada para atender a uma parcela significativa da população brasileira, e, nesse contexto, como a pesquisa acadêmica contribui para a compreensão dos desafios da juventude, que ainda vive em condição abstrata de cidadania, para efetivamente se constituir, como preconiza a legislação, protagonista e formada por sujeitos de direitos.Palavras-chave: Projovem; Juventude; Produção acadêmica.ABSTRACT: The article analyzes the dimensions of a project developed in Brazil in 2000 to serve poor young people who are excluded from school, those who, due to a list of factors, could not finish elementary school, that is, the nine years of schooling that cover this level. education. Here we address some aspects of the National Youth Inclusion Program - ProJovem. The analysis focused on the following questions: What did this program consist of? What is the impact of Projovem on Brazilian academic production? What are the limits and advances of this program to overcome the problems faced by young people with low education? Our goal is to reflect on the role of a public policy with historical importance aimed at serving a significant portion of the Brazilian population, and in this context, how academic research can contribute to the understanding of youth challenges, which still live an abstract condition. Dystopian fiction is evolving in one of the most interesting literary genres for youth. Education in “Divergent” constitutes a domain of the society which affects directly the citizens and turns to be a catalyst for the establishment of the regime. This article focuses on the role and aspects of education and portrays some representations of the educational system in force in “Divergent”, making possible associations with our social and educational worlds. Using the method of quantitative content analysis, we found that “ranking” and “training” have the most powerful presence in the novel. In this dystopian society, the concept and institution of education has a very different role of the one we would imagine in another more friendly and warless society. Based on our findings, we propose ways in which students can actually learn from dystopian fiction and make steps towards the change of their own educational system and society.

This article analyzes representations of modern youth about social success, the factors of social success and the role of socio-pedagogical support in the development of the social success of young people; on the correlation of age and success, success and support; about the impact of social success on the level of human life; about the readiness of youth to accompany other people. The sample size was one hundred and twenty young people between the ages of fourteen and thirty who are studying in General education organizations, professional educational organizations, and educational organizations of higher education in the Yaroslavl region. To study the social perceptions of modern young people, the author's questionnaire was used, and to control the results, individual conversations and the method of focus groups were used. The survey was conducted in writing on an individual basis, indirectly, using the Internet service "Google forms". The link to the survey was posted on the public pages of educational and public organizations in the social network "in contact". Differences are shown in the content of social representations of success as a socio-psychological phenomenon, and in their interpretation by the study participants. It is established that socially successful young people tend to perceive success not only as a result of their own actions, but also as a result of support by family members or teachers, while their peers who consider themselves unsuccessful tend to exaggerate the role of circumstances, including support, in the development of their own social success. Indicators of the presence of socio-pedagogical support in the life of people who are socially successful are higher in percentage than those who are unsuccessful. Most of the study participants note that the most effective development of social success of young people occurs in the conditions of accompanying this process.

The study deals with the subject of threats to the Saudis youth thinking and the good ways to overcome them. The study used the analytical descriptive method, which is the most appropriate one for the nature of this study. The study showed the importance of young people to the nations, and explained that intellectual guidance influences youth thinking. It also mentioned that Westernization was a prime objective of the Western intellectual invasion, where he seeks to distract youth and others from their Islamic beliefs, and impose western values and convictions, which not serve their religion or their homelands, and mentioned that the most threatening is technical threat at this time. It also explains the most important social threats that affect the upbringing of young people such as family, friends and media. The study concluded to show how to face these threats, and what is the appropriate mechanism to overcome them and reduce the impact, and even used positively to young people from harm. And that social media is a double-weapon. It can play a positive role in influencing young people's thinking on the one hand, and it can have a negative impact on young people's thinking on the other hand. We must concentrate on the role of institutions of socialization in forming the personality of the individual from their childhood until their youth, so the institutions of socialization should play effective positive role.

AbstractYoung people in rural areas are gradually convinced that they have to leave their homes for education. They move, and hereby amplify the problem of local economic and demographic decline. The article explores the role of education as well as the social dynamics behind this process in a minor community in Denmark. Drawing on children and young people’s perspectives, the article examines how children gradually come to doubt on the local opportunities and become alienated to local lifeforms. Based on an anthropological fieldwork, the authors show how day-care institutions, schools and youth education play an important role in this process.

The relevance of the problem of youth education in modern conditions is due to changes in the social environment. The educational process at the university is currently focused on personal development, which implies an individual approach to each student, taking into account their needs, aspirations, desires, and abilities.
