Training programmes are evaluated to verify their effectiveness, assess their ability to achieve their goals and identify the areas that require improvement. Therefore, the target of evaluators is to develop an appropriate framework for evaluating training programmes. This study adapted Kirkpatrick’s four-level model of training criteria published in 1959 to evaluate training programmes for head teachers according to their own perceptions and those of their supervisors. The adapted model may help evaluators to conceptualise the assessment of learning outcomes of training programmes with metrics and instruments. The model also helps to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the training process. The adaptation includes concrete metrics and instruments for each of the four levels in the model: reaction criteria, learning criteria, behaviour criteria and results criteria. The adapted model was applied to evaluate 12 training programmes for female head teachers in Saudi Arabia. The study sample comprised 250 trainee head teachers and 12 supervisors. The results indicated that the adapted Kirkpatrick evaluation model was very effective in evaluating educational training for head teachers.

To realize the success of improving education, efforts must be made from various sides, namely paying attention to all components that play an important role such as improving the quality of lecturers, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, management and community participation. E-module with the sigil application really helps students in lectures because the tutorial content facility supports both descriptions in text, images, and videos so that students have an interest, are able to understand and review learning materials properly and motivate them to study independently. The objectives of this study are: 1) to produce problem solving-based e-modules that are suitable for use in learning, 2) to determine the effectiveness of e-modules developed in improving learning outcomes. Introduction to accounting I. This type of development research uses the Borg & Gahl model with the Dick n Carey development model. The results showed; (1) The instructional media expert test is at very feasible criteria (80.26%), (2) the learning design expert test is in the appropriate criteria (75%), (3) the material expert test is at very feasible criteria (92.5 %), (4) small group trials are in very feasible criteria (84.16%) (5) Limited field trials are in very feasible criteria (81.79%). Based on the results of the feasibility assessment of the developed problem solving-based e-module with the percentage of the average score of the overall variable score of 82.74%, it is included in the “very feasible” category, meaning that the developed e-module is proven to be feasible for use.

The quality of education in Indonesia was in the worst position in Asian from 12 countries surveyed in 2010 by PERC, so more efforts by teachers are needed to improve the quality of education. One of the efforts is through the application of good and appropriate learning models to the characteristics of subjects. This study aimed to determine the achievement of learning outcomes of heat transfer subject of students of class VII6 SMP Negeri 2 Ambon through application of a contextual approach in Jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This research was a quantitative descriptive, with 40 students. This study found that the average score of initial achievement was 29.22 (failed qualification). While during the learning process with Jigsaw cooperative learning model, the average cognitive achievement was 83.34 (good qualification), affective was 82.66 (good qualification), and psychomotor was 88.75 (good qualification). While there were formative test results obtained the average achievement score was 74.77 (sufficient qualification), and the average of the final score was 81.71 (good qualification). It can be concluded that the learning process by applying a contextual approach in Jigsaw type cooperative learning model was proven to help students in achieving the learning outcomes of heat transfer subject.

The purpose of this study was to develop student work ethics-oriented student worksheets based on guided discoveries on the material of flat side space and to find out the quality of worksheets developed in terms of validity, practicality and potential effects. The method, this research is Research and Dependency (R&D), that is development research that refers to a modified 4-D development model. The instruments used to measure the quality of worksheets developed include validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, walkthroughs and tests. Worksheets that are developed are valid based on validation sheets by experts and are practical based on a practical questionnaire. The potential effects of worksheets developed can be seen from the activities and understanding of students in working on the problems given to the worksheets. The results showed that: (1) the quality of worksheets seen from the aspect of validity included in the valid category with an average score of 3.18; (2) the quality of worksheets seen from the practical aspect is categorized practically with an average score of 3.24; and (3) worksheets have a potential effect on student learning outcomes where 20 students (76.9%) are included in the category of completion while there are 6 students (23.1%) have not been completed with the Minimum Learning Completion (KBM) specified. Conclusion, ethnomatematics-oriented worksheet based on guided discovery developed is declared valid, practical and potential in improving student learning outcomes in the material of flat side spaces. The focus of the problem in this research is the application of the method of word guessing and improvement of science learning outcomes in the human digestive organ material in grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 43 Batulotong. Furthermore, this study aims to improve students' understanding in teaching subjects IPA Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 43 Batulotong so that the quality of learning can be achieved optimally. This research uses qualitative approach and quantitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is designed through three cycles. The research data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistic formula (percentage) to express descriptively the research result. Furthermore, to discuss and explain the results of research that is qualitative descriptive techniques used data reduction analysis, data presentation, and conclusion. From the research results showed that in the pre cycle stage, the average value of student learning outcomes is 50.70. With a classical thoroughness of 7.69%. After implemented by applying the method of guessing words, in the first cycle, the average score of student learning outcomes is 63.92 with 39% complete classical learning. Furthermore, in cycle II with the average value of student learning outcomes is 88.62 with 79.16% classical learning completeness. Then, continued in cycle III with the average value of student learning outcomes is 90.42 with classical learning completeness 88.46%. Thus, students' learning outcomes on science lessons in grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah by applying the word guess method can increase in each cycle. Therefore, the method of word guessing should be used as a reference by teachers in science learning activities in SD / MI, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 43 Batulotong.

This study is aimed to investigate students’ perceptions towards the mDPBL approach as a multimedia-based learning approach. mDPBL approach is a combination of two different teaching approaches (i.e. DIA and PBL) with multimedia. Two departments were selected in this study (i.e. Informatics Engineering and Information System). The survey was divided into two phases, pre-survey and post-survey. 276 students participated in this study. The quasi-experiment method was used with two different ways teaching strategies (i.e. traditional and mDPBL approach). The study revealed that the majority of students have a positive impact on positive learning outcomes in the mDPBL approach. A significant increase in students' perceptions of the effectiveness of the mDPBL approach is proven by an increase in the average score of students' perceptions and perceived effectiveness of 2.67 points or 8.71%, respectively. Keyword- Multimedia, Traditional approach, mDPBL approach
