Natural disaster happened around the world causing destruction to the environment and mankind. All of these natural disasters also happened during the time of Prophet and his Companions. Natural disasters that often experienced in our country is flood. This phenomenon that happened previously has causing chaos to many people. The floods began with heavy rain, spilled into the river and cause it to overflow. This article will analyse the views of Prophet in regards to the issue of the floods. It commenced with the situation before, during and after of the rain and the effects of continuous rain. Some hadith of Prophet will be collected and analysed guided with the view of contemporary scholars. This research is expected to expose the actions of Prophet to the phenomenon of rain and floods. It also shall become a guideline and a starting point for Muslim to deal about completion of the rain and flood disasters. Generally, the views of Prophet about the flood are very minimising. It corresponds to the times, places and circumstances in Mecca and Medina during that time, when the rain is simply related to the range by way of the Prophet faced and through its. Keywords: rain, flood, damages, natural disaster, hadith of Prophet Abstrak Dewasa ini kita melihat banyak berlaku bencana alam di merata tempat di dunia. This study explores twitter data about insurance and natural disasters to gain business insights using text analytics. The program R was used to obtain tweets that included the word ‘insurance' in combination with other natural disaster words (e.g., snow, ice, flood, etc.). Tweets related to six top Canadian insurance companies as well as the top five insurance companies from the rest of the world, including the new entrant Google Insurance, was collected for this study. A total of 11,495 natural disaster tweets and 19,318 insurance company tweets were analyzed using association rule mining. The authors' analysis identified several strong rules that have implications for insurance products and services. These findings show the potential text mining applications offer for insurance companies in designing their products and services.

Natural disaster that contributes to the economic crisis all over the world has a crucial role in emergency management. The assessment of regional risk to natural disasters is normally studied as a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem in the literature. However little effort was devoted into the comparison of temporary disaster risk of regions. In this paper, a hybrid approach is proposed integrating MCDM and clustering for evaluating and comparing the regional risk to natural disasters. Our two-stage method is applied to thirty-one Chinese regions over the past two consecutive years. In the first stage MCDM is used to prioritize the regions yearly yielding a set of risk vectors over the given period. In the second stage, K-means clustering is applied to divide the regions into a number of clusters characterized by different risk variation patterns. The derived patterns reveal the variation of regions in perspective of natural disaster risk and therefore offer valuable suggestions for disaster risk reduction.

On some days teachers need to just “get by.” It’s self- preservation. But when we let this minimalist effort become our habit, we are giving up on our dreams. We didn’t become teachers just to get a job. We became teachers to shape young minds, to make the world a better place, to offer support and guidance to young people, to share our passion for learning, to bring life to our classes and our students. We aspire to educate. A teacher who “aspires to excel is almost by default a visionary . . . a leader”. Schools can breed challenges and spirit- breaking experiences. Yet becoming dispirited about mandates, regulations, procedures, testing, and standards is no reason to give up on our dreams for students. If anything, those are the times to buckle down and work harder. Bolster determination. Ignite students’ interest. Ballast emotions with resolve to be our best and do our best. These are the aspirations that revitalize us. When we aspire to excel we can reconfigure our attitudes and behaviors. We can aim to bring out the best in ourselves and others. Nine Ways to Excel in Schools 1. Start the day with intention. Be clear and simple about your resolve. 2. Hold on to the best of you. Use that as a starting point to recover your aspirations. 3. Ignite your energy in the classroom. Stimulate engagement and interactions. 4. Subdue your energy in the classroom. Stimulate quietness. Let students take the lead. 5. Prompt learning. Use unique, clever, and challenging ways to hook students’ interest. 6. Show yourself. Let others see your interest and verve for learning. 7. Shift your classroom persona. Be the teacher you most admire. 8. Treat your students the way you would want your own children to be treated. Show respect, curiosity, compassion, and loving expectation. 9. Read, study, and query others. Find best practices to energize your classroom.

Natural disaster managements in Indonesia carried out by the government seemed centralized, slow and is not well prepared. Even the government seems to ignore the management of natural disasters that has long been entrenched in the pulse of local community knowledge systems. Considerations in decision-making mitigation of natural disasters is too scientific-positivistic and ignores the philosophical aspect of the work. This paper attempts to offer a perspective of natural disaster management with support of Indonesian local wisdom and Heidegger hermeneutics. Most of the ethnic groups in Indonesia have already had a set or system of knowledge in the management of natural disasters. This knowledge system exists since the long experience of Indonesian society in dealing with natural disasters. This system is then passed on and transformed from many generations through oral hystory. Some studies indicate that local knowledge systems on the management of natural disasters so far   are very effective in minimizing the number of dissaster victims. In addition, Martin Heidegger hermeneutics offeres a concept of natural disaster management with the starting point of the idea of being-in-the-world.The idea is one of the basic principles of hermeneutics-facticity Martin Heidegger who supposes that a real human living being has awareness of this universe. In the 'living earth', man does not necessarily accept the fate thrown into the earth, but he has the ability to exercise the creativity for survival. As a result of the awareness of the throwness into the universe, in turn, human beings have awareness that they have a relation to one another, empathy and sensitivity as human beings.

Abstract Social networking sites (SNS) became an indispensable part of people’s everyday life, but also a powerful tool of communication during urgent situations, such as during natural disasters. This is evidenced by a large number of research papers showing the use of SNS in difficult circumstances. Some of the ways of using are the dissemination of information about missing persons, warning on further possible consequences, safety checks during natural disasters, communication about places where the population can find help or a safe refuge. At the same time, SNS could increase awareness among the population about natural hazards. Unfortunately, most parts of the world have at least once been hit by a major natural disaster. People who manage such events have a big task in front of them, as they need to exploit the potential of SNS, but also to reduce the negative side, such as spreading inaccurate information in difficult moments. The paper presents ways of using SNS, and the positive and negative effects of these, before, during and after natural disasters.

Flood disasters have become one of the most threatening natural disasters in the world, in which waterlogging is the most common form in the context of highly urbanized megacities. The formation of flood disaster is related to many factors and involves information from multiple sources, making it difficult be predicted. This paper integrates multi-source information data, classifies the study area into different categories according to hydrological analysis results, and combines hydrodynamic theory and ArcGIS to get the quantitative prediction of the range and depth of waterlogging under different rainfall inputs. The evaluation results provide the government with accurate and timely information of waterlogging risks and locations in order to improve promptness of emergency management such as evacuation and managing traffics.
