This study aims to analyze the challenges of print media journalism in the digital era. The development of online media has now become a threat to newspapers and print media. The rapid development of the internet has encouraged people to access online media easily through mobile phones, or gadgets. Print media are in danger of being threatened, and loyal readers of print media are likely to turn to online media. The results shows that the biggest challenge of journalists in the digital information era is synonymous with the competition between media mainstream and new media in this case online media. The party who felt a significant impact with the presence of online media was journalism which of course already had a new channel to spread information and news.

In this digital era, young people are very vulnerable to negative things, therefore Islam as a religion which is rahmatan lil alamin, must take appropriate and fast actions to save young generations of Islam from getting lost in the darkness of cyberspace life. This article is prepared with a library research approach by conducting a literature review and collecting data from various sources and subsequently, the data is analyzed descriptively by presenting facts or findings which are then theoretically reviewed. Therefore da’wah of digital era really must use the media, especially new media. The development of communication technology has changed the way people communicate and interact. Nowadays, almost everyone uses the internet to send, search, and read information. Therefore, the Qur’an Surah An-Nahl: 125 offering da'wah methods of digital era have to be able to attract sympathetic Millennials, presenting representative, interactive and innovative da'wah methods through social media is the best way to save the young generations of Islam in the future.

Aturan mengenai pers di Indonesia diatur oleh Undang-undang No.40 tahun 1999 tentang pers. Segala bentuk aktivitas jurnalisme, baik yang menggunakan media cetak, media penyiaran, dan media baru dilindungi dan dijamin oleh Undang-undang Pers. Pada perkembangannya, praktik jurnalistik pada media online tidak sesederhana formulasi pada undang-undang Pers. Ruang lingkup media baru yang menghadirkan sedemikian banyak kebaruan menghadirkan persoalan dilematis karena karakter media yang berbeda. Karakter media yang berbeda membuat aktivitas jurnalistik pada media baru juga mengalami pergeseran dan dinamika yang luar biasa. Hal ini pula yang kemudian menghadirkan persoalan dilematis di wilayah normatif dan etis. Berangkat dari asumsi tersebut, penelitian ini bermaksud ingin melihat bagaimana posisi Undang-undang Pers dalam ekosistem media baru. Penelitian ini berusaha menjawab posisi tersebut dalam dua aras. Pertama, penelitian ini hendak mengelaborasi bagaimana posisi Undang-undang Pers dalam konteks hukum media di Indonesia, baik dalam perspektif lex spesialis maupun perspektif lex generalis. Kedua, posisi Undang-undang Pers dalam penelitian ini dilihat dalam konteks empirik pada berbagai kasus jurnalisme media online di Indonesia. Konteks empirik ini lebih melihat pada bagaimana fakta yang terjadi di wilayah hukum dalam menanggapi berbagai persoalan terkait pers di media online.  Indonesian Law No. 40 in 1999 on Press regulate Indonesia press activity in print media, electronic media, and online media. This law not only regulate press activity in collecting and reporting information but also guarantee freedom of the press in all Indonesian platform media. However, online journalism practice not as simple as the law. New media ecosystem challenge journalism practice, ethics, and regulation to the new level. New media character change journalism in many aspect, such as commentary, accuracy, and media management. These changes brought new perspective to discuss about regulation for online journalism. This research want to answer, how Indonesian Press Law taking position in new media ecosystem. First, we can discuss this position by elaborate Indonesian Press Law in lex specialist or in lec generalis condition. Second, we can compare Indonesian online journalism case which use Indonesian Press Law to justice.

This chapter contains findings related to social aspects of digital activities of youth. Computers, mobile devices, and the internet are increasingly used in everyday social practices of youth, requiring competencies that are largely still not being taught in schools. To thrive in the digital era, youth need to competently use digital tools and define, access, understand, evaluate, create, and communicate digital information. Being able to develop perceptions of, and respect for, social norms and values for functioning in the digital world, without compromising one's own privacy, safety, or integrity is also important. After addressing the social prospects of information and communication technology (ICT) use among youth, this chapter describes their online behavior through the paradoxical nature of the internet (i.e., providing opportunities for social development vs. introducing risks). Educators and youth services are advised to consider these factors in designing flexible, innovative, and inclusive programs for young people that use ICT.

The digitalization of youth signifies their complete immersion, active participation and involvement in the production, consumption and sharing of digital content using various interconnected/interfaced digital devices in their social network interactions. A prerequisite to successful commercial communication with young people is having a good understanding of new media, along with their social and psychological framework. The behaviour, motivation and emotions of youth in general and in relation to digital technologies, especially the meaning attached to mobile phones, the Internet (mainly social network sites) and games (computer-based and portable) should also be addressed if advertisers aim to reach this target group.

Graphic communications industry has a tradition of more than one thousand years. Not since the invention of movable metal type by Gutenberg in 1450 has the communication landscape been shaken at its foundation as today, when print media face competition from new and novel forms of visual communication. In this paper, the critical analysis and study is made as to why printing has weathered the onslaught of new forms of communication in the past and if, in fact, print media will yet again be able to prevail over radically different methods of dissemi¬nating information. Although printing jobs are still in much need today and printing presses everywhere are keeping busy with a steady influx of orders everyday, people in the graphic communications industry should adapt to the new changes of the internet ages and make fully use of print communications to prevail over different kinds of new media. Printed Electronics and postpress finishing also play key roles in creating new functional print products and adding more value to print media.

Abstract. Hedonism means a living outlook that considers pleasure and material bliss as the main purpose of life. In general, these hedonists assume that they only live once in a lifetime. Therefore, they have the need to enjoy life as pleasurable as possible, adn free with No. limits. New media is a medium that uses the internet, technology based online media that has flexible character, it also has the potential to interactive and can funcation privately or publicly. For this research, i conducted a quantitative method with a correlational approach that aims to determine the hedonism that is in accordance with the AIO indikator (Activities, Interest dan Opinion). Also, this study implements a sampling technique namely simple random sampling.   Abstrak. Hedonisme mempunyai arti pandangan hidup yang menganggap kesenangan dan kenikmatan materi adalah tujuan utama hidup. Pada umumnya, kaum hedonis ini beranggapan bahwa hidup ini hanya satu kali. Oleh karena itu, mereka merasa ingin menikmati hidup senikmat-nikmatnya, sebebas-bebasnya tanpa batas. New media merupakan media yang menggunakan internet, media online berbasis teknologi, berkarakter fleksibel, berpotensi interaktif dan dapat berfungsi secara privat maupun secara publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hedonisme yang sesuai dengan indikator AIO (Activities, Interest dan Opinion). Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling.

 The growth of the mass media industry in recent years has shown increasingly tight competencies. At first there were only electronic media and print media such as radio, television and newspapers. But now there are online media via the Internet such as websites or web. The development of online media users in Indonesia makes print media, such as radio, should present the best breakthrough for the target audience, to survive in the future.This research is intended to examine the effect of the program quality "Halo Kaltim" to the listener's satisfaction at Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda. The research was conducted using regression analysis techniques on 88 listeners of the Interactive Dialogue Program "Halo Kaltim".The results showed that program quality had a positive and significant effect on listener satisfaction. This shows that improve the program quality "Halo Kaltim" will increase the listener's satisfaction of the program "Halo Kaltim" Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda.Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda is expected to maintain the interactive dialogue program quality "Halo Kaltim" because it has a significant effect on listeners' satisfaction Interactive Dialogue Radio Program "Halo Kaltim" Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda.

With the emergence of social networks on the Internet, the marketing of services, especially tourism services, depends on the human factor itself through the exchange and exchange of information about tourist areas, traditional products, hotels and others. The new era has begun to depend on the consumers themselves and their contribution to the promotion of services and places... With the rapid development of social networks, especially Facebook, the importance of harnessing these sites to serve the tourism industry in the countries of the world in general and Algeria in particular, where the industry depends largely on the views of consumers and the spread of information among them, which opened a wide door to identify the places of tourism and hotels and offer services from By visiting people and benefiting from their services, which positively affects other users who may one day be tourists in the same areas. Therefore, this study is an attempt to highlight the role of social networks and their contribution to the activation of tourism in general and local tourism in particular, taking the Facebook network model, through the analysis of the Facebook page beaches of Annaba, and answer the following fundamental question:To what extent does Facebook contribute to the activation of local tourism in Algeria? The beginning of the XXI century is characterized by the emergence of new media and the development of the Internet space by traditional media. A large number of sports publications have moved to an online format. This article examined the system of Russian specialized sports online media. The study analyzed the one hundred most popular specialized sports online media. We studied the following independent variables: the amount of materials per day/ per week; monthly number of visitors; official registration as a media; period of existence. The research found that the system of Russian specialized sports online media includes specialized professional online media, specialized mass online media, club Internet media, sites of sports federations, fan sites, communication and statistical platforms. Meanwhile, the overwhelming majority of Internet resources are not officially registered media, although they perform all the functions of media and have the same goal. In conclusion, it can be highlighted that specialized sports sites are divided into the most popular, relatively popular and unpopular in relation to sports.

This article examines how Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqshabandiyah (TQN) utilizes online media to strengthen its existence. As an integral part of the Islamic revival in Indonesia, Sufi orders (tarekat) are facing remarkable challenges and opportunities in maintaining their existence in the digital era. Nevertheless, previous studies observed Sufi orders as a traditional community that would be exterminated by the pace of modernization and globalization. This article argues that Sufi orders may survive in the internet of things era, contrary to preceding discourses. Based on ethnography research, both online and offline, the authors found out that the vitality of the Sufi order can adapt, develop, and innovate using online media. TQN's use of online media through various platforms proves Sufi order’s adaptive efforts to the internet-based era. TQN’s online media provide informations on Islamic  and Sufism teachings, news, schedule of activities, and fundraising. Even though TQN members’ being active in cyber-Islamic environments, they resist online asceticism thus leverage the vertical-personal obedience, conservative authorities, and sacred rituals. These practices done by TQN members illuminate its identity as an authentic online sufism. Premises shown in this paper may enrich the scope of study within the relationship of Sufi orders and Islamic-cyber environment, especially in Indonesian context.
