Aims: Most people in the community believe that substance abuse is masculine, while women are progressing alongside men in this area, with statistics indicating an increasing number of infected women. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of enriching couples relationships on tolerance of distressed women who were drug abusers Methods & Materials: This is a quasi-experimental study with pre-test, post-test and follow-up test with control group. Initially, 40 women were selected from the study and 20 were randomly assigned to the experimental group and 20 to the control group. Subjects were then assessed using a distress tolerance test (Simmons & Gahr, 2005). Experimental group participants participated in enrichment sessions based on Doba, Graham, Britz and Minatra (2009) choice theory and control group subjects remained on the waiting list. A follow-up test was taken after three months. Multivariate analysis of variance with repeated measures was used to analyze the data. The above analyzes were performed with SPSS V. 24 software Findings: The results indicated that there was a significant difference between the mean of pre-test, posttest and follow-up scores of distress tolerance scales in the experimental and control groups. (P<0.05). The mean distress tolerance in the experimental group increased from 34.533 to 42.80 in the pre-test phase and reached 42.533 in the follow-up phase. Also, the significant interaction between the stages with the experimental group in the mentioned variable indicates that in the post-test and follow-up stages, the mean of the experimental groups was significantly higher than the control group. Conclusion: Due to the increasing trend of addiction in women, proper education is one of the essentials. Therefore, it is recommended to take effective steps to improve couple distress tolerance training by enriching couple relationships

In the research, an experimental model with pretest, posttest, follow-up test control group was used. Children in the experimental group were applied with Scamper Education Program two days a week for a period of eight weeks. The children in the control group continued their own training programs. As the data collection tool in the study, “Personal Information Form” and “Creative Behavior and Personality Traits Scale were used.  Single factor covariance analysis (ANCOVA) and t test were used for data analysis. As a result of the research, it has been determined that there is a significant difference between creativity score averages of children in the experiment and control group (p<0.001), there is no significant differences between post-test and follow-up test score averages of children in the experiment group (p>0.05). This result shows that Scamper Education Program provided to the experimental group is effective in creativity of children.

The subject of the reseach was 8 patients who will be divided into experimental group and control group. The data collection was conducted using Steen Happiness Index (SHI). The Hypothesis that proposed of the research is that there is a difference of happiness  between the experimental group which was given mindfulness training treatment and controlled group which was not given the treatment of mindfulness training. The research design used was pre-test post-test control group design. The data obtained were analyzed using non- parametric Mann-Whitney to compare the differences of quality of life scores in pretest, posttest, and follow up between experimental groupand Control group. The result of this study showed that there are not a differences of happiness after the training between experimental group and control group after given, with value of Z = - 0.959, p = 0.337 (p &gt; 0.05). in the post test and follow up, the group didn’t show any differences of happiness with value of Z= -1.200, p = 0,230 (p&gt;0.05).</p>

Background: High mobile-phone dependency may cause cognitive, emotional, and academic impairments among students; hence, proper therapies should be performed to prevent the risk. Objectives: The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the nomophobia therapy package on self-esteem and nomophobia symptoms in high school students. Methods: The research method was quasi-experimental with a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up design and a control group. The statistical population included all the students showing nomophobia symptoms who were in high schools in Isfahan in the academic year of 2018 - 2019. Using purposive sampling, we selected 30 students willing to participate in the project and randomly divided them into experimental (n = 15) and control (n = 15) groups. The research instrument included Nomophobia Questionnaire and Self-Esteem Questionnaire. The experimental group underwent eight sessions (75-minute sessions per week) of nomophobia therapy. The follow-up was performed after two months. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics, such as mean, standard deviation, and repeated measures ANOVA. SPSS version 23.0 was further used to analyze the data. Results: The mean ± SD of the post-test scores of self-esteem and nomophobia symptoms were (19.26 ± 3.34) and (50.60 ± 5.07) in the experimental group and (13.46 ± 2.47) and (71.63 ± 8.47) in the control groups. The difference between the scores of the experimental and control groups in the pre-test was not significant (all P-values were > 0.05). Also, the post-test scores did not have a significant difference from the follow-up scores (all P-values were > 0.05). Nomophobia therapy effectively increased self-esteem in students with nomophobia symptoms in the experimental group (P = 0.0001). The training intervention sessions decreased the nomophobia symptoms of high school students in the experimental groups compared to the control group (P = 0.0001). Conclusions: According to research findings, nomophobia therapy was an efficient therapy for improving self-esteem and reducing nomophobia symptoms in students who suffer from the syndrome.

This research aimed at investigating the effect of infographic towards university students’ speaking competence. The research design was a quasi-experiment with a post-test-only control group design. The research population included the 2nd semester students of English Language Education of UNDIKSHA Indonesia in academic year 2019/2020. Through lottery, the samples were divided into experimental group which was taught by using infographic and control group which was taught by using conventional strategy. The data were collected through post-test in a form of speaking performance. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics analysis. The result of data analysis showed that the students in experimental group performed better than the students in control group. It was also supported by the descriptive statistics result which showed the mean score of experimental group (X̄= 82.89) was higher than the control group (X̄= 75.03). The result of the T-test showed that the value of the tobs was 5.422 meanwhile the value of tcv was 1.674 which means tobs was higher than tcv. Moreover, the significant value of the data was 0.001or less than 0.05. The result of effect size was 1.45 that belongs to the large effect category. Based on the findings, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of using infographic as a media on students’ speaking competence. Keywords: Infographic, Speaking competence, Instructional media
