Saivism is one of the world’s ancient religions. It is believed that the Tamils of ancient India who embraced Saivism have been worshipping Sivaperuman as their Supreme Being for a good 10,000 years. However, this religion is facing many challenges to expand due to the influences of other theological ideologies especially the Vedic Religion, Jainism and Buddhism. Three consequential Scholars namely Thirunyanasambanthar, Thirunavukkarasar and Suntharar have played a pivotal role in the efforts to revive Saivism from the brink of extinction. Thirunyanasambanthar and Thirunavukkarasar have performed miraculous wonders to prove the majestic divinity of Saivism to the world. Their fruitful efforts were proven when some of the atheistic kings and people of the Tamil kingdoms reverted to Saivisim. With an ardent belief, tenacious virtue and grace of Sivaperuman, the Scholars have successfully thwarted the propagation of other ideologies by benedictory actions. Those Scholars have also been established as exemplary role-models in the daily lives of all Saivites.

In the presented study, the authors raise the question of the need to include in the educational process of a preschool institution to familiarize children with some philosophical categories. The educational system in which the child is included, starting from preschool childhood, provides him with the opportunity to gradually and continuously enter the knowledge of the world around him. It is in preschool childhood that the child is exposed to various relationships, values of culture and health, diverse patterns in the field of different knowledge. This contributes to a broader interaction of the preschooler with the world around him, which, in turn, ensures the assimilation not of disparate ideas about objects and phenomena, but their natural integration and interpenetration, which means understanding the integrity of the picture of the world. The authors prove the idea that the assimilation of philosophical categories by children contributes to the understanding of the structure of the surrounding world. The analysis of research is presented, proving that children's fiction in an understandable and accessible language, life examples and vivid images is able to explain to children the laws of the functioning of nature and society, as well as to reveal the world of human relations and feelings. Fiction surrounds the child from the first years of his life. It is she who contributes to the development of thinking and imagination, enriches the sensory world, provides role models and teaches you to find a way out in different situations. Philosophical categories such as "love and friendship", "beautiful and ugly", "good and evil" are represented in children's literature very widely, and the efficiency of mastering philosophical categories depends on the skill of an adult in conveying the content of a work, on correctly placed accents.

AbstractIn 2019, the world celebrated the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (IYPT2019) and the IUPAC centenary. This happy coincidence offered a unique opportunity to reflect on the value and work that is carried out by IUPAC in a range of activities, including chemistry awareness, appreciation, and education. Although IUPAC curates the Periodic Table and oversees regular additions and changes, this icon of science belongs to the world. With this in mind, we wanted to create an opportunity for students and the general public to participate in this global celebration. The objective was to create an online global competition centered on the Periodic Table and IUPAC to raise awareness of the importance of chemistry in our daily lives, the richness of the chemical elements, and the key role of IUPAC in promoting chemistry worldwide. The Periodic Table Challenge was the result of this effort.

Background and Purpose The aim of this study was to clarify patients’ experiences of breathing during therapeutic processes in Norwegian psychomotor physical therapy (NPMP). Subjects and Methods A qualitative approach was used based on interviews with 9 women and 1 man aged between 41 and 65 years. The data were analyzed with the aid of grounded theory. Results Three categories were identified from the participants’ experiences: (1) “Breathing: An Incomprehensible and Disparate Phenomenon,” (2) “Breathing: Access to Meaning and Understanding,” and (3) “Breathing: Enhancing Feelings of Mastery.” Initially, breathing difficulties and bodily pains were described as physical reactions that seemed utterly incomprehensible to the participants. Communication, both verbal and nonverbal, between the patient and the physical therapist was described as vitally important, as was conscious attention to occurrences during the treatment sessions. The participants learned to recognize changes in their breathing patterns, and they became familiar with new bodily sensations. Consequently, they acquired new understanding of these sensations. The feeling and understanding of being an entity (ie, “body and soul”) emerged during therapy. The participants increased their understanding of the interaction between breathing and internal and external influences on their well-being. Their feelings of mastery over their daily lives were enhanced. The therapeutic dialogues gave them the chance to explore, reflect, and become empowered. Discussion and Conclusion In experiencing their own breathing, the participants were able to access and identify the muscular and emotional patterns that, linked to particular thoughts and beliefs, had become their characteristic styles of relating to themselves and the world.

In an age of social transformation characterized by globalization, wireless communication, and ease of travel and migration, more and more people around the world are marrying across national boundaries. This has occurred worldwide with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as no exception to this trend. As with the rest of the GCC, Qatar has witnessed remarkable social changes because of the discovery of petroleum resources that have affected the daily lives of people within Qatar in myriad ways. This includes marriage patterns, whereby cross-national marriages (marriages with non-Qataris) have shown a marked increase during the past few years, reaching 21% of total Qatari marriages in 2015 compared with only 16.5% in 1985.

Context: The transmission of COVID-19 was reported to have started at a Seafood Market in Wuhan, China predominantly through droplets from coughing and sneezing. Gatherings like schools, religious and worship centers as well as market places are usually densely populated and congested thereby facilitating the spread of the virus via droplets. This research aims to explore the transmission of COVID-19 in schools, religious gatherings and markets. Evidence Acquisition: Literature search of available evidences was conducted on biomedical databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar using keywords, and articles that met inclusion criteria were selected. Results: Results show that transmission of SARS-CoV-2 has been recorded in schools, religious centres and market places in different countries and regions. Transmission was found to be less prevalent among school children unlike in influenza outbreaks due to some notable factors highlighted in the articles. Numerous evidences stated cases of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 linked to intimacy and close contacts in religious gatherings. Transmission in market place marked the genesis of the pandemic at Huanan Seafood Wholesales Market, Wuhan although only limited evidences are available about transmission in other market places in the world. Conclusions: Although these gatherings are seen to be vital to our daily lives, they are risk settings for SARS-CoV-2 transmission. It is important for government to ensure strict compliance to the COVID-19 protocols in order mitigate the spread of the virus causing the current pandemic.

Leaders are very important for organizations and businesses. The various characters of leaders can determine the success of an organization due to their role and responsibility for planning, organizing, and decision-making of organizational strategies to achieve their goals. One of the leaders whose characteristic is quite interesting and possibly become our role models is Larry Page, a co-founder of Google Inc. The researchers used qualitative research methods by descriptive research in explaining Larry Page style of leadership in leading Google Inc. Result of this study shows that Larry Page has a very open and equal way of leading, making him a democratic and transformational leader for an instance Larry believe in crazy ideas of their employees since he believes that insane ideas could change the world whereas not all the leaders can trust their subordinate. To hear the ideas, Larry always encourages his subordinate to speak up at every opportunity and instantly give them constructive feedback.

ZusammenfassungWie Rudolf Stichweh im Anschluss an Niklas Luhmann ausgeführt hat, sind Selbstbeschreibungen ein basaler Bestandteil aller sozialen Systeme und insbesondere für die Analyse der emergierenden Weltgesellschaft grundlegend. Die Diskussion hat bislang jedoch zumeist nur westliche Quellen berücksichtigt. Ausgehend von den Säulenedikten des indischen Königs Ashoka wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob frühe Formen einer Selbstbeschreibung der Weltgesellschaft auch in nichteuropäischen Kontexten gefunden werden können. Mit der Analyse dieser 2200 Jahre alten Edikte kann die These gestützt werden, dass bestimmte Formen solcher Selbstbeschreibungen der Weltgesellschaft auch für den indischen Kontext nachgewiesen werden können. Der Blick kann so global geweitet werden, und es wird in Zweifel gezogen, dass es sich um rein europäische semantische Erfindungen handelt. Zudem kann durch die Einbeziehung anderer als menschlicher Adressaten in der vorgefundenen Semantik der Fokus von einer im Westen vorherrschenden anthropologischen auf eine ›biozentrische‹ Perspektive verschoben werden.

Wonder that is India. India is wonderful because of its abundant and affluent cultural heritage. The cultural heritage of India is prudential of its spiritual richness and classical creativity. Vedic literature is the most wonderful and unparallel literary creation of Ancient India. Vedic literature has made this country worthy of worship. Vedas are without beginning and without end. Veda is author-less. It is Apauruseya. They are considered to be the direct word of the Divine.  Vedic knowledge appeared in the dawn of the cosmos within the heart of Brahma. Brahma imparted this knowledge in the form of sound (Sabda) to his sons who are great sages. They transmitted the Vedic sound heard from Brahma to their disciples all over universe. There are four Vedas. They are the Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda and Atharva Veda.  Four Vedas contain four types of texts such as The Samhitas, The Arankayas, The Brahmanas and The Upanishads. Veda is accepted as a code of conduct to Sanatan Dharma. The teaching of Veda is the concept that the individual is not an independent entity, but, rather, a part of the Universal Consciousness.  Upanishads is the manifestation of Vedantic thought. Sada Darshan (Six Systems of Vedanta) is a very important part of Vedic philosophy.  Swami Nigamananda a great Master of Vedic Literature achieved Nirbikalpa Sidhi of Vedanta in the year 1904.  The philosophy of Vedanta is reflected in the creation of Swami Nigamananda. In his writings (Yogi Guru, Jnani Guru, Tantrik Guru, Premik Guru, Brahmacharya Sadhana and Vedanta Viveka) he has explained the main scriptures of Vedas such as The Upanishads, The Bramha Sutras and The Bhagavad Gita. His philosophy teaches us to love and live in a state of eternal freedom. The Philosophy of Swami Nigamananda is a synthesis of Sankar and Gouranga i.e. knowledge and love. Knowledge envisages the path of analysis and Love, the path of synthesis. In this way Nigamananda convincingly reconciled the two apparently contradictory creeds of Adi Shankaracharya and Gauranga Mohapravu. “He advised his disciples to combine Shankara’s view and Gournaga’s way and walk on this path of synthesis. In fact attainment of Jnana through Bhakti is the nucleus of his philosophy. Through his teachings and works, he proclaimed to the world the fundamental harmony of all religions that there are many paths which lead to the same goal”.

O discurso publicitário está presente no cotidiano das pessoas por meio de diversos tipos de mídia: anúncios na TV, impressos, outdoors ou nas redes sociais. Entre os recursos utilizados pela publicidade para convencer as pessoas sobre os produtos, serviços ou ideias que se deseja vender nos interessa estudar o uso da linguagem verbal, mais especificamente a maneira com que a publicidade constrói sentido por meio da linguagem. Assim, este artigo pretende analisar alguns enunciados de uma campanha publicitária realizada pela instituição financeira Citibank sob o olhar da teoria enunciativa desenvolvida por Oswald Ducrot. A campanha serve como  exemplo do jogo argumentativo que pode ser criado por meio da linguagem verbal, enredado em si mesmo, onde o locutor não fala sobre o mundo, mas fala para construir o mundo e explicitar a sua verdade por meio de argumentação linguística e não, necessariamente, retórica. Abstract: Advertising speech is present in people's daily lives through various types of media: TV ads, print ads, billboards, or social networks. Among the resources used by advertising to convince people about the products, services or ideas they want to sell we are interested in studying the use of verbal language, more specifically the way in which advertising builds meaning through language. Thus, this article intends to analyze some statements of an advertising campaign carried out by the financial institution Citibank under the view of the enunciative theory developed by Oswald Ducrot. The campaign is a great example of the game of argumentation that can be created through verbal language, entangled in itself, in which the speaker does not speak about the world, but speaks to build the world and to explain its truth through linguistic argumentation and not , necessarily, rhetoric.
