For determining the total income amount and load precisely in the same period, there are two available choices which are able to be the recording basis by accountants which are the cash basis and accrual basis. A study result implemented by the IFAC Public Sector Committee (2002) stated that accrual based reporting is useful in evaluating government performance related with costs of service, efficiency, and reaching goals. With accrual based reporting, users are able to identify the government’s financial position and its change, how the government funds its activities corresponding with the funding ability, so the real government capacity is able to be measured, In 2010, the accrual based Government Accounting Standard has finished being arranged by the Government Accounting Standard Committee and determined as a Government Regulation in Government Regulation Number 71 Year 2010. The implementations of the regulation are, Financial Reports of Central and Regional Governments are gradually motivated for applying accrual based accounting. The Open University as a Public University is not excluded from the Government Regulation Number 71 Year 2010. The transition of the recording method from the cash basis to the accrual basis of course will impact several matters. Because of that the researcher is interested for observing the acceptance attitude of treasurers in the Open University environment, in the Central Open University and the Long Distance Learning Program Unit-Open University which disperse in 39 Long Distance Learning Program Units-Open University, as a cause of the accounting basis transition. This acceptance attitude will observe the following aspects: Personal Comfort, Change as a Challenge, Employment Uncertainty, Job Results, Control of Employment, Freedom in Employment, and Satisfaction.
Keywords: Acceptance Attitude, Change as Challenge, Control of Employment, Job Results, Personal Comfort, Satisfaction

The evolution of software is necessary for the success of software systems. Studying the evolution of software and understanding it is a vocal topic of study in software engineering. One of the primary concepts of software evolution is that the internal quality of a software system declines when it evolves. In this paper, the method of evolution of the internal quality of object-oriented open-source software systems has been examined by applying a software metric approach. More specifically, we analyze how software systems evolve over versions regarding size and the relationship between size and different internal quality metrics. The results and observations of this research include: (i) there is a significant difference between different systems concerning the LOC variable (ii) there is a significant correlation between all pairwise comparisons of internal quality metrics, and (iii) the effect of complexity and inheritance on the LOC was positive and significant, while the effect of Coupling and Cohesion was not significant.

As customers’ consumption is increasingly dominated by technology-driven systems, online self-verification becomes an important aspect of customers’ online purchasing behavior and plays a significant role in shaping social interactions in the online community. Across two studies, we examine whether online self-verification with an identity versus without an identity will lead to the different quality of online reviews. Study 1 used topic modeling with actual data stripped from Facebook and TripAdvisor customer online review sites and showed no difference between customer reviews underpinned with an identity or without. Likewise, Study 2 used an experimental design and found no significant difference between customer reviews with or without an identity. However, significant mediation effects of social ties and social capital were found when measuring the relationship between online self-verification and customer reviews. The findings build on the literature of user-generated online reviews and have important implications for academics and hospitality practitioners.

Purpose The purpose of this paper aims to examine differences in measures of and relationships between visitation and quality of life (QOL) among older and younger jailed adults. The authors also explored the contribution of visitation to QOL among adults in this setting. The authors anticipated fewer visits and lower QOL among older adults. Framed by psychosocial developmental theory, the authors also anticipated a larger effect in the relationship between visitation and QOL among older rather than younger adults and that visitation would contribute most readily to psychological QOL. Design/methodology/approach Cross-sectional data from a large US jail were used (n = 264). The authors described the sample regarding visitation and QOL measures among older (≥45) and younger adults (≤44) and examined differences in measures of and relationships between visitation and QOL using independent sample t-tests and bivariate analyses. The authors explored the contribution of visitation to psychological, social relationships, physical and environmental QOL among jailed adults using hierarchical multiple linear regression. Findings Older adults had fewer family visits and lower physical QOL than younger adults, disparities were moderate in effect (d range = 0.33–0.35). A significant difference also emerged between groups regarding the visitation and environmental QOL relationship (z = 1.66, p <0.05). Visitation contributed to variation in physical and social relationships QOL among jailed adults (Beta range = 0.19–0.24). Originality/value Limited research exists among jailed older adults and scholars have yet to examine the relationship between visitation and QOL among persons in these settings.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between psychosocial distress and quality of life (QOL) in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) after radiotherapy. Fifty-three patients with an initial diagnosis of NPC were enrolled in this study. The psychological Distress Thermometer (DT) and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Head & Neck (FACT-H&N) were conducted before and after radiotherapy in NPC patients. We compared the differences in psychological distress and QOL before and after radiotherapy and analyzed the correlation between psychological distress and QOL after radiotherapy. The performance on the DT was 6.60 ± 1.42 and 2.81 ± 1.43 before and after chemotherapy, respectively, with a significant difference between the time points (t = -13.73,P< 0.01). The performance on the FACT-H&N was 68.30 ± 6.14 and 39.84 ± 6.14 before and after chemotherapy, respectively, with a significant difference between the time points (t = -19.9,P< 0.01). There was a significant negative correlation between the DT score and the FACT-H&N score (r = -3.64,P< 0.01). Patients with NPC experience different degrees of psychological distress, an important factor that affects quality of life, after radiotherapy.

The experiments investigated the reproductive performance of the domesticated broodstock of the silver perch and the relationship between various degrees of oil globule fragmentation and egg quality. Six years old of second generation broodstock (n=3) were evaluated based on the fecundity, fertilisation rate, hatching rate, the degree of oil fragmentation of egg, and the quality of embryos and larvae produced. The fragmentation were grouped into three categories: un-fragmented (cat-1), moderately fragmented (cat-2), and highly fragmented (cat-3). The results showed that the broodstock had a relatively high fecundity (132,400 ± 7,22), fertilization rate (94.27 ± 1.28%), and hatching rates (87.94 ± 1.23%). The survival rate of larvae at 12 days post hatching (dph) in cat-1 (71.3 ± 0.9%) was higher than cat-2 (66.7 ± 0.9%) whereas cat-2 was higher than cat-3 (61.3 ± 0.3%). The eggs was dominated by cat-1 (78.11 ± 2.44%) which was significantly higher than cat-2 (21.26 ± 2.45%) and cat-3 ones (0.40 ± 0.21%). The survival rate of embryo at 20 hours post spawning (hps) and hatching rate of cat-1 (95.33 ± 0.00% and 93.33 ± 0.00%) and cat-2 (90.00 ± 0.00% and 85.00 ± 0.00%) were significantly higher than cat-3 (72.33 ± 1.76% and 60.33 ± 0.00%). The total length (TL) of the larvae of cat-1 and cat-2 (8.44 ± 0.21 mm and 8.35 ± 0.23 mm respectively) were significantly higher than larvae of cat-3 (7.09 ± 0.14 mm). No significant difference was found in the larval deformities among any categories. In conclusion, the reproductive performance of six year-old broodstock silver perch showing acceptable performance and egg categorisation based on oil globule fragmentation can be used as a useful tool to indicate eggs quality of silver perch.

Introduction: Uterine prolapse is a gynecological problem that women often experience with a prevalence of 50% and is predicted that the next 30 years will increase by 45% as life expectancy increases. Increased degrees of uterine prolapse have an impact on the deterioration of women's quality of life. The uterine prolapse is influenced by several mutually supportive factors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between these factors to the degree of uterine prolapse. Methods: This research is an observational analytic research with cross sectional approach. The number of samples were 65 patients with uterine prolapse at Policlinic Gynecology RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya from 2015-2017. Sampling was done by consecutive sampling. To find out the significant level, the collected data will be tested with Fisher Exact Test statistic at significance level α = 0,05.Results: The result showed that there was significant difference between degree of uterine prolapse with age factor (p = 0,016) and obesity (p = 0,041). As for the parity factor (p = 0.508) there was no significant difference between the parity factor and the degree of uterine prolapse.Discussion: Age is a major factor affecting the degree of uterine prolapse, weakening of pelvic floor tissue and muscle in elderly women is the main cause. While on the obesity factor, there is no data to support that obesity is related to the degree of uterine prolapse because the trend indicates that the majority of patients are not obese. In contrast the parity factor, although according to the statistical test there is no difference to the degree of uterine prolapse, the trend shows that parity leads to increased incidence of uterine prolapse itself. Conclusion: Age is a factor that affects the degree of uterine prolapse.
