<p>Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo investigar a influência do uso da calculadora científica no processo de resolução de problemas matemáticos com alunos de uma turma do 3º ano do Ensino Médio. Foi utilizada entrevista semiestruturada e realizadas seis sessões de resolução de problemas matemáticos em sala de aula. Os resultados apontam para a não utilização da calculadora na sala de aula, pela professora de Matemática da turma pesquisada. Os alunos consideram que usar a calculadora faz com que desaprendam a fazer cálculos manuscritos e os tornem dependentes da máquina. Esperamos que este trabalho contribua para a discussão em torno do assunto e possa, dessa forma, melhorar a qualidade do ensino e da aprendizagem em Matemática.</p><p><strong>Palavras-chave: </strong>Calculadora Cientifica. Ensino Médio.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>The use of the scientific calculator in High School Mathematics classes: exploring problem solving</strong></p><p align="center"> </p><p><strong>Abstract: </strong>The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of the use of scientific calculators in the process of mathematical solving problems with students in a High School class. It was carried out in a class of students in the 3rd year, through the use of a semistructured interview and six sessions of mathematical classroom problem resolution. The results point to the non-use of the calculator in the classroom, by the mathematics teacher in the class under study. Students found that using the calculator causes them to unlearn their handwritten calculations and become dependent on the calculator. We hope that this work contributes to the discussion around the subject and can, in this way, improve the quality of teaching / learning in Mathematics.<strong></strong></p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> Scientific calculator. This study aims to determine the effect of students' mathematical dispositions on mathematical problem solving abilities of students in class VII of SMP. The type of research used is quantitative. The sample in this study was class VII A, amounting to 30 people who were selected using simple random sampling from 6 existing classes. The type of data in this research is primary data with data collection used using a disposition questionnaire consisting of 28 items and tests consisting of 5 items of description. Testing the hypothesis in this study using a simple regression test. After the data is analyzed the regression equation is obtained as follows: Y = 16,312 + 0.523X. before testing the hypothesis, the data normality test and linearity test were carried out. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the t-test = 3.296 with significance = 0.003 and table = 2.048. then t count = 3.296> 2.048 = t table means that data is normally distributed. To see the achievement of the disposition indicators of junior high school students in the junior high school class, the average of each indicator is calculated and the achievement of the mathematical disposition indicator is 50.08%. Whereas for grouping mathematical dispositions, problem solving abilities obtained the highest dispositions having an average of 63.04, moderate dispositions having an average of 43.56, and low dispositions having an average of 40.51. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of mathematical disposition on mathematical problem solving abilities of students of junior high school class.

Abstrak: Kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah suatu kecakapan atau potensi yang dimiliki dalam diri individu untuk menyelesaiakan suatu masalah dari permasalahan yang berbeda-beda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada tingkatan sangat baik dan kurang. Kemampuan ini diteliti terkait dengan materi bangun ruang dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan sampel 4 siswa SMPN 1 Papar kelas VIII-I. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel berkemampuan: (1) Pada tingkat sangat baik, mengalami kesulitan dalam menstranfer pengetahuan (2) Pada tingkat baik, mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan memvisualisasikan konsep matematika karena terbiasa dengan soal-soal rutin (3) Pada tingkat cukup baik, mengalami kesulitan yaitu lemah dalam perhitungan (4) Pada tingkat sangat kurang, mengalami kesulitan yaitu  lemah dalam melakukan perhitungan dan membuat koneksi. Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kesulitan, bangun ruang  Abstract: The ability to solve problems is a skill or potential possessed in an individual to solve a problem from different problems. The purpose of this study is to describe problem-solving abilities at very good and poor levels. This ability was examined in relation to space building material using a qualitative approach, with a sample of 4 students of Papar 1 Junior High School class VIII-I. Data collection techniques used in this study are tests and interviews. The results showed that the sample was capable of: (1) at a very good level, having difficulty in transferring knowledge (2) At a good level, having difficulty understanding and visualizing mathematical concepts because they are familiar with routine questions (3) At a fairly good level, experiencing difficulties that is weak in calculation (4) At a very low level, having difficulties is weak in performing calculations and making connections. <p><em><strong>Abstract: </strong>This research aims to design a quality of alophysics web as a source of independent learning for Senior High School Class X based on expert judgment and student responses. The research belongs to Research and Development (R&amp;D). This development is done using Plomp research model which includes 5 steps, namely (1) Prelimenary Investigation (2) Design (3) Realization/Construction (4) Evaluation and Revision (5) Implementation. These research instruments are validation sheet, Alophysics web quality assessment sheet, student response sheet. The quality of Alophysics web used 4 Likert scale and student response used Guttman scale, both are in checklist forms. The final result of this study is the web of Alophysics as a source of independent learning for Senior High School Class X on the subject of momentum and impulses. The quality of the web of Alophysics based on expert material assessment obtained a mean score of 3.2 with good category (B), media expert judgment obtained an average score of 2.9 with good category (B), and the physics teacher assessment obtained a mean score of 3.83 with the very good category (SB). At the implementation stage produces the responses of students agree (S) with a mean score of 1.00 in limited trials and 0.95 in broad trials.<strong></strong></em></p><p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain web alofisika yang berkualitas sebagai sumber belajar mandiri untuk SMA/MA Kelas X berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian <em>Research and Development (R&amp;D). </em>Pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model penelitian Plomp yang meliputi 5 langkah yaitu (1) <em>Prelimenary Investigation </em>(2) <em>Design </em>(3) <em>Realization/Construction </em>(4) <em>Evaluation and Revision </em>(5) <em>Implementation</em>. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi, lembar penilaian kualitas web alofisika, dan lembar respon peserta didik. Penilaian kualitas web alofisika menggunakan skala <em>Likert </em>dengan skala 4 dan respon peserta didik menggunakan <em>Guttman </em>yang dibuat dalam bentuk <em>checklist.</em> Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah web alofisika sebagai sumber belajar mandiri untuk SMA/MA Kelas X pada pokok bahasan momentum dan impuls. Kualitas web alofisika berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi diperoleh rerata skor 3,2 dengan kategori baik (B), penilaian ahli media diperoleh rerata skor 2,9 dengan kategori baik (B), dan penilaian guru fisika diperoleh rerata skor 3,83 dengan kategori sangat baik (SB). Pada tahap implementasi menghasilkan respon peserta didik setuju (S) dengan rerata skor 1,00 pada uji coba terbatas dan 0,95 pada uji coba luas.</p>

The objective of this study is to find out how biology teacher paedogogical competency of senior high schools in Aceh Tamiang regency. This study involved all of the high schools in Aceh Tamiang  regency. The population in this studyconsist of 54 biology teachers in Aceh Tamiang regency. The sample of this study consist of 34 biology teachers. In this study, observation in high school class was done by using the instrument called Penilaian Kinerja Guru (PK Guru) which has been modified by researcher. This sutdy uses descriptif quantitatif research methode by using numbering and then the number is explained by using the sentences. The result of this study shows the paedogogical competency of biology teacher is  verygood including some aspect : 1)recognize the student’s characteristic is  very good (80,40%), 2) having the ability the theory of teaching learning process and technique is very good (78,36%) 3). curiculum developing  is very good (77,33%) 4) teaching learning process  is very good  (80,31% ), 5)knowing and developing student ability is very good (80,02%),6) communicating with the student’s is very good (83,09% )7) assessment and evaluation is very good(80,15%). There are some obstacles that biology teachers should face regarding teaching, teachers have not been able to developing syllabus from BSNP based on students characteristics and condition of local region. In addition the result of study on curiculum developing to design worksheets and module obtained are very low 63%, then in the aspects having the ability the theory of teaching learning process and technique the ability of teachers to invite students learn to recognize enviroment and provide oppurtunities for students to make observation and experiments were also obtained  a low value 74%.

This writing is result from research that have go to to to study the leveling of problem solving-ability mathematics and self confident student   mediating school first with strategy think talk write to be compared ordinary studying. This research to design experiment that use it experiment group method and control group pretes-postes. Population in research this is entire student in a Yunior High School in Kabupaten Subang with class student sample VII E and VII F SMP mentioned. the test Type that to be used is the written test in form decomposing. Postes's quantitative data to be based to through test t to normal data and test Mann Whitney to data not normal levely significant     α = 0,05 be obtained that the archievment of problem solving-ability mathematics and self confident student   mediating school first groups experiment better than control group. Gain second groups be analyzed to through test-t to normal data and test Mann Whitney to data not normal be obtained that the leveling of problem solving-ability mathematics and self confident student   mediating school first groups experiment better than control group. To be concluded that studying with strategy think talk write influency better to problem solving ability mathematics and self confident   student VII Yunior High School class than problem solving ability mathematics and self confident   student   who use it ordinary studying .

ABSTRACT   Free sex is a relationship that is done by men and women without matrimony. Various forms of sexual behavior, such as intimate dating, courtship, to have sexual contact. Factors associated with sex behavior among others, is the lack of knowledge about free sex, free sex impact, forms of promiscuity, perversion LGBT, and disease-free sex. This study design is the technique of sampling using quantitative indirectly using a questionnaire tools shaped questionnaires. Be knew overview of students' knowledge about sex in high school / vocational Lubuk Linggau Year 2016. The study population was high school class XII students in schools in the city Lubuklingga 2016. The sample in this study is the high school class XII students in 9 schools there in Lubuklinggau of 167 people. Results of univariate analysis showed respondent knowledge about free sex amounted to 48 people (28,74%), students with sufficient knowledge of 54 people (32,33%), and students with less knowledge of 65 people (38, 93%). Students with a good knowledge about the impact of free sex amounted to 57 (34,13%), students with sufficient knowledge of 69 people (41,31%), and students with less knowledge 41 (24,56%). Students with a good knowledge about the form of free sex amounted to 58 students (34,73%), students with sufficient knowledge totaled 49 peoples (29,34%), and students with less knowledge of 60 people (35,93%). Students with a good knowledge about LGBT amounted to 54 (32,34%), students with sufficient knowledge amounted to 68 peoples (40.71%), and students with less knowledge amounted 45 peoples (26,95%). Students with a good knowledge about the disease free sex amounted to 22 peoples (13,17%), students with sufficient knowledge of 39 peoples (23,35%), and students with less knowledge amounted to 106 peoples (63,48%).     ABSTRAK   Seks bebas merupakan hubungan yang dilakukan oleh laki-laki dan perempuan tanpa adanya ikatan perkawinan. Berbagai bentuk tingkah laku seksual, seperti berkencan intim, bercumbu, sampai melakukan kontak seksual. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku seks bebas antara lain adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang seks bebas, dampak seks bebas, bentuk-bentuk seks bebas, penyimpangan LGBT, dan penyakit seks bebas. Desain penelitian ini adalah teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik kuantitatif yaitu secara tidak langsung menggunakan alat bantu angket berbentuk kuisener. Di ketahuinya gambaran pengetahuan siswa tentang seks bebas di SMA/SMK Kota Lubuk Linggau Tahun 2016. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMA di sekolah yang ada di Kota Lubuklingga tahun 2016. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMA di 9 sekolah yang ada di Kota Lubuklinggau yang berjumlah 167 orang. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukan respondent pengetahuan tentang seks bebas berjumlah 48 orang (28,74%), siswa dengan pengetahuan cukup 54 orang (32,33%), dan siswa dengan pengetahuan kurang 65 orang (38,93%). Siswa dengan  pengetahuan baik tentang LGBT berjumlah 54 orang (32,34%), siswa dengan pengetahuan cukup berjumlah 68 orang (40,71%), dan siswa dengan  pengetahuan kurang berjumlah 45orang (26,95%). Abstract Background Brazil have a huge free health care system. Inspired on UK National Health System (NHS), the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS, that means Unified Health System) was consolidate as a right for all citizens after 1988's Brazilian Federal Constitution. Despite your spread, part of Brazilian citizens have an opposite opinions about SUS. So, the main question is: How to teach the relevance of a universal free health care system as a human right. Objectives The main aim of this work is teaching the recognize of SUS as a human right and ratified by Brazilian Federal Constitution in a High School class. In this sense, we used the cinema and debate for stimulate an effective comprehension of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and health promotion as a human right in a high school class. We used the movie Elysium (Neill Blomkamp, 2013) that show a dystopian world with two social class: citizen and non-citizen of Elysium (an artificial satellite of the Earth with high technology of cure for your citizens). Results The class has three Lessons: in first lesson we teaching about different notions about rights and the UDHR. In the second lesson we teaching about free health care systems in the world and a historical perspective about SUS. The third lesson we show the movie Elysium and proceed a debate. In debate we discuss about citizenship and rights, how the movie show two societies with different rights about work, transport and health, and how this aspects impact the quality of life of human being. Conclusions What options we have? The notion of free health care as a human right isn't an easy concept. So, efforts are needed for this comprehension and cinema can be used, followed by discussion, as a significant teaching tool for achieving humanistic educational objectives about free health care system as a human right in the high school curriculum. Key messages Health care is a human right and free health care system is a concretization of this right. Cinema can be used for stimulate a critical evaluation and effective understanding of rights in a high school classroom.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan bahan ajar pengayaan trigonometri SMA menggunakan teknik faded examples yang berkualitas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Kualitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan mencakup aspek kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Plomp yang mencakup tiga tahapan. (1) penelitian awal mencakup analisis kebutuhan dan analisis konteks, (2) pengembangan yang mencakup desain produk dan pembuatan produk, dan (3) evaluasi yang meliputi proses validasi dan proses implementasi. Proses pengembangan melibatkan dua ahli, satu orang guru dan 50 siswa (siswa kelas X pengayaan 1 dan X pengayaan 2) SMA IPA di Mataram. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar pengayaan berupa buku guru dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan dengan menerapkan teknik faded examples. Pada buku pengayaan terdapat paket faded examples dengan jenis backward dan forward fading dimana pada akhir paket, siswa diminta untuk membuat sendiri soal sesuai dengan materi yang sedang dipelajari. Teknik ini dikembangkan oleh teori desain pembelajaran bernama Cognitive Load Theory (CLT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini layak digunakan karena dinilai sangat baik secara isi dan penyajian oleh dosen validator, praktis oleh guru matematika dan praktis digunakan oleh siswa. Hasil ketuntasan belajar adalah sebanyak  100% siswa mencapai nilai minimal kemampuan pemecahan masalah. The application of faded examples techniques to improve student’s problem solving ability on trigonometry at high school level AbstractThis study was aimed to produce and describe the quality of the developed Trigonometric Senior High School Science Program Enrichment’s Instructional Materials using Faded-Examples Techniques to Improve Problem Solving Ability. The quality of the developed teaching materials include all aspects of validity, effectiveness, and practicality. This was a developmental research used three phases Plomp’s model which consists of: (1) preliminary studies which involved the needs and context analysis, (2) product design development, and (3) the evaluation process of product validation and implementation. The development process involves two experts as validator, one teacher, and 50 students (X pengayaan 1 and X pengayaan 2). The study results the trigonometric enrichment’s teaching materials which consists of the teacher’s textbook and the student’s textbook that was developed using the faded-examples technique. This technique based on The Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) instructional design. The results of the study showed that the quality of the developed trigonometric enrichment’s teaching materials is “very good” according to lecturer validation and “practical” according to the evaluation from the teachers and students. The results of the learning showed that 100% of the students passed the minimum grade criteria of problem solving skills.
