In the drives of high-speed devices, such as a blood centrifuge, dynamic states also play an important role in terms of the time and quality of the tests performed. The article presents the application of modified equations resulting from the mathematical model of an induction motor to model dynamic phenomena during motor start-up, both with mains supply and with frequency start-up. The applied solution considers the phenomenon of current displacement in the rotor bar and the phenomenon of saturation. The comparison of the obtained results with the experiment shows that the method is sufficiently accurate. The obtained results can also be extended to higher power machines and to modeling other dynamic states.

Based on deeply analyzing the working principles and energy-saving theory of loader secondary regulating transmission system, regenerating the transmission system’s inertial energy by controlling constant torque was put forward. Considering large changes of the parameters of the transmission system and its non-linearity, a fuzzy control was adopted to control the transmission system, and the mathematical model of the system was established, then the simulations of the performance of the transmission system has been conducted. The conclusion was made that the inertial energy can be reclaimed and reused in the system by the application of the secondary regulation technology, and braking by controlling constant torque is stable, it can ensure the security of braking at high speed and also permits changing the efficiency of recovery by changing the braking torque. The system’s power has been reduced and energy saving has been achieved.

Flutter numerical analysis of a dynamically scaled model (DSM) of a high aspect ratio wing was performed using experimentally obtained generalized parameters of eigen modes of vibrations. The DSM is made of polymer composite materials and is designed for aeroelastic studies in a high-speed wind tunnel. As a result of the analysis, safe operation conditions (flutter limits) of the DSM were determined. The input data to develop the flutter mathematical model are DSM modal test results, i.e. eigen frequencies, mode shapes, modal damping coefficients, and generalized masses obtained from the experiment. The known methods to determine generalized masses have experimental errors. In this work some of the most practical methods to get generalized masses are used: mechanical loading, quadrature component addition and the complex power method. Errors of the above methods were analyzed, and the most reliable methods were selected for flutter analysis. Comparison was made between the flutter analysis using generalized parameters and a pure theoretical one based on developing the mathematical model from the DSM design specifications. According to the design specifications, the mathematical model utilizes the beam-like schematization of the wing. The analysis was performed for Mach numbers from 0.2 to 0.8 and relative air densities of 0.5, 1, 1.5. Comparison of the two methods showed the difference in critical flutter dynamic pressure no more than 6%, which indicates good prospects of the flutter analysis based on generalized parameters of eigen modes.

It is considered the complex of operations of the technological process for the heat treatment of steel 95X18-Sh, as a result of which the material of the samples increases the hardness to 59...61 HRC, and also improves the physical and mechanical properties. A full-scale full factorial experiment of face milling of samples was carried out using the method of mathematical planning. In the experiments, a high-precision machine and a carbide cutting tool were used. To calculate the values of the roughness function, the following are taken as independent variables: cutting speed, feed per tooth and depth of cut. In order to determine the coefficients of the linear equation, a central compositional orthogonal plan of the second order for three factors was used. A matrix of levels of variation of independent variable factors and a matrix of experiment planning were compiled. A regression analysis of the obtained experimental statistical data was carried out using the Microsoft Excel, Statistica and Wolfram Alpha programs. As a result of the calculations, a mathematical model of the roughness of the machined surface and optimal cutting conditions were determined.

As part of the development of monitoring systems for the operation of technical objects, the problem of improving the quality of monitoring systems for the loaded state is considered. Based on the analysis of the mathematical model of the structure and its loading, a methodology for the selection of measuring instruments was developed. The urgency of the problem of calculating substantiation of the choice of key points of the structure is shown, at which it is possible to measure deformations for the subsequent restoration of the existing loads with maximum accuracy. An approach based on the envelope method for determining the rational composition of measuring instruments for restoring the loads acting on the structure is stated.

Now we are in the era of ubiquitous computing. Internet of things (IoT) is getting matured in various parts of the world. In coming few years' billions and trillions of things will be connected to the internet. To deal with these huge number of devices in a network we need to consider Quality of Service (QoS)parameters so that system operations can be performed in a smoother way. Mathematical modelling of these QoS parameters gives an idea about which factors are needs to consider while designing any IoT-enabled system at the same time it will give the performance analysis of the system before implementation. In this paper comprehensive literature survey is done to discuss various issues related to QoS and gap analysis is also done for IoT Enabled systems. This paper proposes general steps to build a mathematical model for a system. It also proposes the mathematical model for QoS parameters like reliability, communication complexities, latency and aggregation of data for IoT. To support proposed mathematical model proof of concept also given.

A mathematical model is created, and the algorithm is designed according to the fuzzy clustering. The main indices of the soy sauce samples are detected, and the data are analyzed using fuzzy clustering. As a result, many classes including different soy sauce sample can be obtained, and the quality within the same class is similar. The mathematical model and algorithm provide a method to identification the soy sauce. And in the others, it provides a new method to evaluate the quality of the soy sauce.

The dynamics of the tubular chemical reactor with mass recycle was examined. In such a system, temperature and concentrations may oscillate chaotically. This means that state variable values are then unpredictable. In this paper, it has been shown that despite the chaos, the behavior of such a reactor can be predictable. It has been shown that this phenomenon can occur in two cases. The first case concerns intermittent chaos. It has been shown that intermittent outbursts can occur at regular intervals. The second case concerns transient chaos, i.e. a situation when chaos occurs only for a certain period of time, e.g. only during start-up. This phenomenon makes it impossible to predict what will occur in the reactor in the nearest time, but, makes it possible to precisely determine the values of the variables even in the distant future. Both of these phenomena were tested by numerical simulation of the mathematical model of the reactor.
