The world moves and advances very quickly. Production systems and jobs evolve with the world. Occupational risks change as jobs change: The occupational risks of jobs we found two hundred years ago are different from the risks inherent to today’s jobs. The influence of technology is evident in many of today’s companies and, as a consequence, in the work that takes place in them. The recent COVID-19 pandemic, which has so upset the world, has made possible the acceleration in the massive use of certain communication tools that has been linked to the home confinement of a significant part of the population. Lots of workers and companies have been forced to telecommute. In a lot of countries, legislation and regulations were not prepared for these new ways of working: the laws have had to adapt to this new operation. In this area techno-stress has emerged, a new variety of stress derived from the use of new technologies at work, with the consequent negative psychosocial effects for the worker and the people around him, which can, at the same time, be the prelude to many others pathological processes of various nature.

The world of working is changing and the technological transformations are playing a relevant role in this change. In particular, new technologies are making the physical boundaries of traditional offices increasingly permeable, allowing the diffusion of New Ways of Working (Demerouti et al., 2014; Koops and Helms, 2014), such as smart working. This paper, based on a qualitative research and discursive interviews, intends to reflect on the introduction and top-down management of smart working within a banking institution. At the same time, it aims to grasp the role attributed to and played by technology in its implementation. Starting from the two reconstructed stories, I shall show if and how the innovations introduced whereby technologies enable us to work remotely, are changing existing power relations and what control dynamics emerge from the field.

Purpose Many investigations are going on in monitoring, contact tracing, predicting and diagnosing the COVID-19 disease and many virologists are urgently seeking to create a vaccine as early as possible. Even though there is no specific treatment for the pandemic disease, the world is now struggling to control the spread by implementing the lockdown worldwide and giving awareness to the people to wear masks and use sanitizers. The new technologies, including the Internet of things (IoT), are gaining global attention towards the increasing technical support in health-care systems, particularly in predicting, detecting, preventing and monitoring of most of the infectious diseases. Similarly, it also helps in fighting against COVID-19 by monitoring, contract tracing and detecting the COVID-19 pandemic by connection with the IoT-based smart solutions. IoT is the interconnected Web of smart devices, sensors, actuators and data, which are collected in the raw form and transmitted through the internet. The purpose of this paper is to propose the concept to detect and monitor the asymptotic patients using IoT-based sensors. Design/methodology/approach In recent days, the surge of the COVID-19 contagion has infected all over the world and it has ruined our day-to-day life. The extraordinary eruption of this pandemic virus placed the World Health Organization (WHO) in a hazardous position. The impact of this contagious virus and scarcity among the people has forced the world to get into complete lockdown, as the number of laboratory-confirmed cases is increasing in millions all over the world as per the records of the government. Findings COVID-19 patients are either symptomatic or asymptotic. Symptomatic patients have symptoms such as fever, cough and difficulty in breathing. But patients are also asymptotic, which is very difficult to detect and monitor by isolating them. Originality/value Asymptotic patients are very hazardous because without knowing that they are infected, they might spread the infection to others, also asymptotic patients might be having very serious lung damage. So, earlier prediction and monitoring of asymptotic patients are mandatory to save their life and prevent them from spreading.


This article considers modern approaches to the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) of TNCs (transnational corporations) on innovative development, examines the cumulative effect of technology transfer, and highlights the main factors stimulating economic growth. The technological effect has been studied on the example of creating branches of foreign companies, intensifying competition with national companies, which stimulates productivity, as well as promotes the transfer of new forms and methods of management, skills in production, and business culture by national producers.Based on the analysis of innovative projects, statistical data from UNCTAD and other international organizations, the trend of declining FDI inflows in the world as a whole and individual countries, reducing the number of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of TNCs in the COVID-19 pandemic investigated. Research and new technologies are considered as the basis for the success of the Top 50 – the most innovative companies that give impetus to the development of knowledge-intensive industries. The application of a comprehensive integration strategy of TNCs through the transformation of a fragmented production system in the production and distribution network is determined. The strategy is implemented at the global or regional levels. The tendencies of development of innovative TNCs at the expense of increase of knowledge-intensive technologies creation, an increase of their efficiency because of the use of advantages of the international movement of the capital, and placement of new innovative branches are defined. The importance of development research and development work (R&D) is the main factor in the progress of radical innovations that underlie the success of innovative companies around the world. The advantages of using knowledge-intensive technologies to increase the efficiency of TNC production and taking advantages of global value chains are noted. Cross-border mergers and acquisitions applied in the strategy of TNCs to develop international markets and achieve technological leadership through the effective use of global production systems are considered.

All companies in the world are facing global competition. In order to keep up with the competition and meet the increasing demands of the market, it is essential that they use new technologies in the production processes (i.e., to implement Industry 4.0). The chapter presents smart sensors that automatically detect errors during the production process. Smart sensors communicate via IO-Link in stable communication, whereas the technology itself offers numerous practical benefits in everyday industrial work. Sensors are excellent data collectors and highly intelligent analysts that share their knowledge with their environment through an integrated real-time IO-Link interface. With the implementation of smart sensors in production systems, they become flexible production systems, contribute to the rapid start-up of the process, are automatically adjusted, enable digital data transmission, and can verify the device and the records.

What is the future for livestock agriculture in the world? Consumers have concerns about sustainability but many widely used livestock production methods do not satisfy consumers' requirements for a sustainable system. However, production can be sustainable, occurring in environments that: supply the needs of the animals resulting in good welfare, allow coexistence with a wide diversity of organisms native to the area, minimize carbon footprint and provide a fair lifestyle for the people working there. Conservation need not just involve tiny islands of natural vegetation in a barren world of agriculture, as there can be great increases in biodiversity in farmed areas. Herbivores, especially ruminants that consume materials inedible by humans, are important for human food in the future. However, their diet should not be just ground-level plants. Silvopastoral systems, pastures with shrubs and trees as well as herbage, are described which are normally more productive than pasture alone. When compared with widely used livestock production systems, silvopastoral systems can provide efficient feed conversion, higher biodiversity, enhanced connectivity between habitat patches and better animal welfare, so they can replace existing systems in many parts of the world and should be further developed.

Sound is a neglected subject of today’s products and services. The new technologies changed the way we interact with the people, objects and the world around us, thus, designers should aim at all senses, contemplating a multi sensorial experience. In this scenario sound becomes an important aspect to be considered during the project phase in a design process. Sound becomes part of the product identity and expression, the way the product talks to us. To foster this scenario designers should be aware of the possibilities and attributes of sound and how to explore them in a creative way. In this short paper we investigated published articles, workshops and publications to collect sound methods and techniques to be used into a design process. As a result, we proposed twenty essential sound methods that could be applied in a design thinking context. This is an ongoing research, part of a thesis experiment, since further methods and refinement could be added in the future.

Formulation of the problem . The article reveals the role and features of the digitalization of the economy, which is an objective prerequisite for the innovative development of the state economic system, as well as explores the results and determines the prospects for the introduction of the digital economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The aim of the study is to characterize the forms and methods of modern digitalization of the economy. The object of research is the process of spreading the digitalization of the economy of Uzbekistan, as well as ways to improve the efficiency of economic processes in general. Research methods - logical, comparative, analytical, scientific and methodological. The research hypothesis is that the methods and forms of digitalization of the economy depend on the qualifications of managerial personnel and feedback from the local population. Statement of basic materials. The great possibilities of digital presentation of information lead to the fact that digitalization forms already integral technological environments of “habitat” (ecosystems, platforms), within which the user can create for himself the friendly environment he needs (technological, instrumental, methodological, documentary, partnership, etc.) n.) in order to solve already entire classes of problems. The implementation of the requirements of digitalization as a modern trend in the development of the economy and society, and thereby increase the efficiency of their development, is to some extent met by the prerequisites for digitalization at the state and industry levels, as well as at the levels of individual households and citizens. Therefore, the task of the state to take into account the prerequisites of the digital economy as favorable conditions conducive to digitalization is to create opportunities for their implementation. Originality and practical significance of the study. With the advent of the digital economy, truly revolutionary changes are taking place in the world today, associated with new technologies that transform industries and production systems, increase productivity and give rise to new business models. In this regard, the acceleration of economic development, international competitiveness and the integration of Uzbekistan into the world economy are largely dependent on the development of the digital economy. Conclusions of the study. The main role in the digital economy of Uzbekistan will be played by private business with a strong entrepreneurial and innovative approach, and the state should create the infrastructure and conditions for private initiative.

The happiest moment for parents in their life is to have a child whom they love, guide, protect and care for. Children are the blessing from the God and their protection is core responsibility. A child is recognized soon after their birth on sexual appearances, whether he is a boy or a girl. The term sexuality came into existence since life has evolved on earth. Although the world understands how sexual harassment poses a threat but, it is shrouded in secrecy either in the name of false piety or for intended personal revenge. Resultantly, the victim rarely files a complaint against the perpetrators of sexual exploitation. Many children face various issues throughout their way to maturity and the most prominent issue is sexual exploitation

This study deals with Universal Values and Muslim Democracy. This essay draws upon speeches that he gave at the New York Democ- racy Forum in December 2005 and the Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy in Istanbul in April 2006. The emergence of Muslim democracies is something significant and worthy of our attention. Yet with the clear exceptions of Indonesia and Turkey, the Muslim world today is a place where autocracies and dictatorships of various shades and degrees continue their parasitic hold on the people, gnawing away at their newfound freedoms. It concludes that the human desire to be free and to lead a dignified life is universal. So is the abhorrence of despotism and oppression. These are passions that motivate not only Muslims but people from all civilizations.

In the world auto market, top three companies are VW(Volkswagen), Runault-Nissan-Mistubishi, and Toyota. About some selected countries and areas, China, England, Italy, Australia, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Sweden, USA, Brazil, UAE, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand are more competitive. However, the situation is different. Seeing monopolistic market countries and areas, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, France, India, and Pakistan, in particular, the influence of Japan to Taiwan, India, and Pakistan is very big. But in Korea and France, their own companies’ brands occupy the market. In Japan domestic market, the overall situation is competitive. Almost all vehicles made in Japan are Japanese brand. From now on, we have to note the development of electric vehicle (EV) and other new technologies such as automatic driving and connected car. That is because they will give a great impact on the auto industry and market of Japan. Now Japan’s auto industry is going to be consolidated into three groups, Honda, Toyota group, and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi group for seeking the scale merit of economy. Therefore, I will pay attention to the worldwide development of EV and other new technologies and the reorganization of auto companies groups.
