The digital economy requires the digital transformation of firms. There is no single solution to the digital transformation process. For each company, the process is carried out according to an individual plan. You can use world experience, but in certain segments of the digital economy, the Russian Federation has gone further than other countries. The authors proposed to consider the problems of digital transformation of energy companies separately. Then combine it into a single approach. Digital transformation is much broader than the digitization of the workflow. Often, digitizing documents does not provide the synergistic effect of digital transformation. Digital transformation requires a change in the entire management system. All strategic documents should be reengineered. Digital transformation requires new models and methods that can use the information technologies and artificial intelligence systems that appear in the future. The introduction of blockchain technologies as part of digital transformation will allow changing the centralized management system. This will lead to significant cost savings. Digital transformation has highlighted a problem related to the lack of basic competencies of the digital economy among the leaders of energy firms. It is necessary to solve the identified problem in the shortest possible lines. The article reveals the problems associated with the use of information technologies by energy companies supplied from other countries with the possibility of remote change.

In modern conditions, the problems of structural transformations of regional economies in the context of digital transformation are one of the current problems. This lies on the fact that managing structural transformations, ensuring the economic component, informatization and introducing the requirements of professional competence into practice is also an important condition for improving the competitiveness of regional socio-economic systems (RSESs). It is shown that it is necessary to achieve a certain information competence at the level of regional socio-economic systems to ensure the training of qualified personnel for the needs of the regional economy and ensure the economic security of the region. The work formulates a list of requirements for the transition of regions to the digital economy. It is clarified that the basic version of the methodology for structural transformations of the region's economy should be supplemented by a list of elements. It is shown that it is necessary to adjust the content of structural transformations of the regional and national economy in the context of digital transformation, taking into account the requirements of the digital economy. The principles of structural transformation are highlighted. The main barriers that hinder structural transformations at the regional level are identified, taking into account the specifics of the structure of the economy of specific regions of Ukraine, and taking into account the requirements of the digital transformation process. The model of ensuring economic and information security of the economic complex of the region in conditions of digital transformation is presented. A variant of ranking of regions by the value of the general index of development of the regional digital innovation subsystem is proposed. A concept model for the formation of a regional innovation and information subsystem for adaptation to the requirements of the digital transformation of RSES is developed. A comprehensive logical model of the functioning of the digital platform of the RSES economic complex is also presented. The main directions of future research in solving the problem of structural transformations of the region's economy in the digital economy are highlighted.

The article examines the process of digitization in two contexts: first, as the transition of technical and economic systems from analog to digital methods of recording information; secondly, as a phase transition to a new model of organization of economic systems, which can be conditionally called the "digital economy". The economic effects of digitalization (in the first sense) are analyzed: the advantages of digital storage of information (in particular, the effects of quality and cost); savings on technological simplification; effects of using digital clones; communication effects from the universality of digital language; effects of dematerialization of technological and transport operations; effects of virtualization of production systems. Characterizing the digital economy, which is aimed at the transformation of economic systems, the authors identify the following key components: alternative energy, additive technologies (3D-printing); digital communication channels; horizontal distributed networks, information technologies in production and consumption; digital business models and platforms; globalization of society, new social relations and solidarity economy, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, cloud technologies, digitalization of public life. Depending on the links between the three types of entities (consumers, business structures of business and government organizations), different business models of economic activity are characterized. Factors of increase of efficiency of economic subjects in the conditions of digital economy are allocated, in particular, at the expense of: economy of expenses, increase in production volumes, growth of labor productivity, optimization of processes of pricing. Emphasis is placed on the growing role of man in the processes of digitalization of the economy. The components of digital human competencies are characterized. The importance of human free access to information is emphasized.

Digital transformation is a new trend in the industrial era 4.0. It leads to a new business pattern known as the digital economy. Indonesian MSME players face obstacles in carrying out the business transformation process which is based on fact that 90% of Indonesian MSMEs are still run conventionally. The problem of resource unpreparedness becomes the background of this research. The purpose of this research is to find out on how (1) digital transformation carried out by MSME players in developing their business? Digitalization with methods of artificial intellect, computer technologies and digital platforms in Russian business and organization management today is becoming a reality. The article studies key components of the organization management system and their digital transformation. Transformation of management systems in digital economy implies their implementation on the digital platform. The authors underline such key elements of the management system as the object and subject of management. Such notions as vision, mission, goals, values of the organization, its managerial decisions, management processes, organizational structures management, mechanisms and technologies of management, strategy, activity regulations, indicators of activity estimation, risks were defined. The authors analyzed and presented different definitions of the notion ‘digital platform’, which were formulated by experts of MIT company, ‘Rostelecom’ and in the program ‘Digital Economy of the Russian Federation’. Digital transformation of the management system was described in detail, it includes introduction of digital doubles, designing digital strategy of organization development, digital risk management, making managerial decisions on-line. Company owners and managers can get information about business on-line by mobile devices and employees can see goals, indicators and objectives, their deadlines and final result. The article shows the efficiency of using the common digital platform ensuring implementation of the development strategy of the selected business-model and carrying out digital transformation of business.

The analysis of modern publications on the stated problem suggests a great interest of the scientific community about the digital development of economic systems at various levels. However, the Russian experience of developing and implementing digital technologies has not been studied well. As a result, Russian features of digital economy development and systematization of existing approaches provide a great scientific and practical interest. It is noted that the digital economy, which generates a continuous stream of innovations, involves the development of human capital, which, in turn, requires a systematic approach to knowledge management. The development of the digital economy in Russia is declared as one of the most important directions of state policy and is considered as a prerequisite for competitiveness in the modern global market and a strategic component of the state's economic sovereignty. An organization that embarks on a digital transformation strategy needs a vision of its final achievement, and that vision should be more than a statement on the website. For the transformation to be successful, the organization must adapt its vision every day, and employees must know the way of their contribution. To make digital transformation real, you need a vision and ability to do it. Digital solutions, meanwhile, represent digital products or services – for example, a medical platform that connected to Phillips or GE's offerings on the industrial Internet. The results of the study: The analysis of the digital economy of the Russian Federation was carried out. The main directions in solving the identified problems of digitalization in Russia were Proposed. The methodological basis of the research is the scientific works of Russian and foreign scientists in the field of the digital economy, the results of various applied research on the formation of the knowledge economy.

In the article, we will share the experience of implementing PBL at the Master program on Business Management in the Digital Economy held in Saint Petersburg University. Specific conditions for the PBL organization are highlighted. First, digital transformation process is quite difficult to realize in companies, as no clear methodology for its implementation exist yet. Second, pandemic left the only opportunity for online communication, and all usual administration and education processes had to be changed. The experience is structured and presented with recommendations for similar projects.

The publication is aimed at examining the influence of risk management on the formation of a strategy for the development of enterprise in the digital economy. At this, the instrumental part of the research is based on the integrated theory of IT risk management and the global risk management practice both at the national and international levels. Intensification of the pace of digital transformation at all levels of the economic system, increased competition in the domestic and foreign markets, limited traditional growth resources determine relevance of the problem of ensuring the sustainable development of the production-economic systems. Determining the factors of advancing development, scientists are unanimous in the opinion that the key to economic growth of enterprise is the introduction of digital technologies. That is why the key condition for the development of the production-economic systems is the management of investment in the digitalization. The systematization and generalization of scientific developments of leading domestic and foreign scholars made it possible to distinguish the directions of digital technologies development, the advantages of their incorporation into the production-commercial activities of enterprise, and present the theoretical-instrumental basis for the research on the problems of investing in the digitalization process. The theoretical basis for managing the investment of digital transformations at the enterprise in the context of an integrated approach were the systemic economic theory and the integrated IT risk management theory. The problematics of digital transformation investment management at the enterprise is studied, whereby the instrumental basis is distinguished, which on his part is based on the systemic economic theory and the integrated IT risk management theory, as well as on the complex-system and the spatial-vector approaches. The model of development of recursive-convergence methodology of formation of the strategy of enterprise development on the basis of digital economy is presented. The model of formation of the development strategy of enterprises taking into account the digital economy is proposed, where the concepts of digitalization management and options for financing digital transformations are systematized within the terms of the implementation of four strategies: innovative, investment, market and functional.

The bases of economy digitalization in modern society are analyzed; problems of managing the documentary and professional activity in the economic sphere and the opportunities of information technologies application are indicated. The aim of the research is to optimize the fundamental ideas in the structure of digitalization processes in modern society. The article substantiates the development of digital modification in the economic sphere of the society which forms a single concept of competitiveness and scientific and technical independence of modern economy. The signs that distinguish a digital company are identified and industries are determined by the complexity of transition to the digital economy. The relevance of the topic is determined by an inevitable transition to the digital economy, which causes complex changes both at the state level and at the level of companies. Using general scientific and comparative methods, the authors analyzed the world experience of transition to digital environment, and drew analogies between digitalization of the Russian and world economic systems. The result of economic activity is the systematic, reasoned aspect of digitalization – creation of bases of economic reality abstract models, as well as affirmation of the significance of Big Data economy, which directly affects the transformation and modification of industries.

The authors considered anti-evolutionary, institutional, entrepreneurial and integration models of management systems in the context of studying the transformational cycle of economic processes development. This made it possible to prove that the effectiveness of the application of a specific approach to the organization of the structure of the management system depends on the degree of its implementation at a specific economic asset, and the transition to another structure is necessary in the case of the limitations of the existing one. It has been proven that one of the most promising mechanisms is the reengineering of business processes, which provides process orientation and an inductive approach to the use of modern information technologies, allowing flexible adaptation of the management system to changes in external and internal environments. The use of an object-oriented approach to the analysis, design and synthesis of applied software is proposed.  It will allow the use of an iterative method of project development, which increases the efficiency, quality and speed of performing all types of work, as well as the possibility of forming multi-option solutions for the development of production and economic systems.

The problem of distance between the processes of world transition to a new technological platform, information technologies, to the digital economy and digitalization of various spheres of activity, including education, on the one hand, and not sufficiently deep studies of the phenomenon of digital transformation, including the digital transformation of education, on the other hand, is studied. Lack of elaboration of the essence of digital transformation provokes the free and often marketing use of the concepts of digitalization, digital technologies, and digital transformation of education, and in practice leads to low efficiency of actions taken to implement projects and programs of digital transformation. The lack of strict assumptions leads to a lack of meanings, a multiple increase in the managerial and organizational complexity of implementing the actual practice of digital transformation in education, and as a result, there is an imitation or formal implementation of promising projects. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the General model of digital transformation and to specify it in relation to the digital transformation of education, demonstrating all the elements of the structure of the transformed object and the nature of the cardinal transformations. The hypothesis being tested — the transformation process covers not only the means of educational activity, in particular, digital technologies, but also other elements of it — the goal, object, subject, changing the essence of the educational activity itself, contrasting it with the processes of training and preparation. The system-based research methodology is used. Research methods: main — theoretical analysis and synthesis of existing scientific positions, observation of practical artifacts of digital transformation of education; accompanying — experimental method for testing the results of research. The main results were: distinguishing digital transformation projects, highlighting their unique properties and characteristics that differ from projects of optimization, improvement, development; substantiating the model of digital transformation of education, including proof that in the process of transformation, not only the means (digital technologies), but also the content of the educational process, its goals, subjects and methods of communication between them change dramatically. This suggests a new approach to changing the education process under the influence of digital transformation, its distance from the processes of education and training, which will become a starting point in the self-organization of teams of projects of digital transformation of education. The results will be useful to heads of education authorities at all levels, managers and development teams of educational organizations of basic and additional education, who are planning or implementing digital transformation projects.
