The paper presents a theoretical framework for the phenomenon of the price war in the context of general equilibrium, with special attention to the production system. The natural question that arises is whether Nash-optimal production plans being the reactions to the changing prices can finally approximate a Nash-optimal production plan at the end of this war. To provide an answer, the production system is described as a parametric-multicriteria game. Referring to some results on the lower semicontinuty of the parametric weak-multicriteria Nash equilibria, we provide a positive answer for the stated problem.

The article focuses on the study of requirements for communication in the social sphere and justification of their specificity in comparison with other types of verbal interaction. The relevance of the stated problem is determined by the significant influence of social communications on society and the dependence of public safety on the effectiveness of social interaction. The study aimed at identifying the types of violations of commonly known maxims in the social sphere and substantiating the specificity of requirements for social communicative interaction. Two main methods were used in the research: projecting and modeling. The well-known communication maxims were divided into two groups. The first group contains those that define the requirements for organizing the content of the message and are aimed at ensuring the fullness of its perception by the addressees. The second group includes maxims, which establish requirements for the moral climate of communication and the implementation of the principle of politeness. The data of interviews given by representatives of governmental bodies to journalists of certain TV channels and blogs, as well as the analysis of Internet news videos revealed the types of violations of the well-known maxims of communication in the social domain. The main ones are:  ignoring the maxims of the second group in interviews and non-compliance with the maxims of the first group in news programs. It has been proved that the well-known maxims of communication need to be revised taking into account the conditions of social contact discourse. The specificity of maxims in social communicative interaction was substantiated.

The article is devoted to the problem of teaching academic writing as a concept of academic literacy of students, undergraduates, graduate students in higher education. Violation of the norms of academic writing is a common practice among both foreign language and domestic authors. This results from the fact of poor acquired and often lack of possession of formal stylistic competencies that affect the quality of writing a clear, concise and convincing scientific text. As the title implies, the aim of the article is to present the technology that avoids traditional errors when working on a scientific text. The need to follow the specific tone of the genres of academic writing, dictating the choice of words and phrasing, is especially noted. The technology of teaching hedging is proposed as a system of sequential operations (algorithm) for solving the stated problem. The algorithm for the formation of hedging competencies acquaints students of all levels in higher education with the genres and style of formal writing, teaches them to construct their own knowledge in academic discourse. In addition, the goal was to develop hedging competencies and to use foreign language lexical phenomena in academic writing genres, which may help to warn authors against typical stylistic errors. This work may be of interest both for students of all levels in higher education and for researchers-beginners, since the article discusses the international requirements for the writing of academic scientific documents that may be useful while preparing a foreign publication. The recommendations made as a result of the research may also arouse the interest of teachers of foreign languages, draw attention to the problem of academic writing and integrate them into the course of the profile discipline. This, in its turn, may help to meet the requirements to the quality of specialists training at universities, including scientific work support of students of all levels.

It is imperative to find new places other than Earth for the survival of human beings. Mars could be the alternative to Earth in the future for us to live. In this context, many missions have been performed to examine the planet Mars. For such missions, planetary precision landing is a major challenge for the precise landing on Mars. Mars landing consists of different phases (hypersonic entry, parachute descent, terminal descent comprising gravity turn, and powered descent). However, the focus of this work is the powered descent phase of landing. Firstly, the main objective of this study is to minimize the landing error during the powered descend landing phase. The second objective involves constrained optimization in a predictive control framework for landing at non-cooperative sites. Different control algorithms like PID and LQR have been developed for the stated problem; however, the predictive control algorithm with constraint handling’s ability has not been explored much. This research discusses the Model Predictive Control algorithm for the powered descent phase of landing. Model Predictive Control (MPC) considers input/output constraints in the calculation of the control law and thus it is very useful for the stated problem as shown in the results. The main novelty of this work is the implementation of Explicit MPC, which gives comparatively less computational time than MPC. A comparison is done among MPC variants in terms of feasibility, constraints handling, and computational time. Moreover, other conventional control algorithms like PID and LQR are compared with the proposed predictive algorithm. These control algorithms are implemented on quadrotor UAV (which emulates the dynamics of a planetary lander) to verify the feasibility through simulations in MATLAB.

Human dignity is a criterion of appreciation among people, because each of us wants dignity, it comes from our own nature, but it can be achieved in the community of which we are part. Throughout the existence and development of mankind, there have been various situations in which, however, human dignity has been violated. These situations, in turn, in addition to making the problem visible, served as a pillar for inventing new areas of protection of human dignity, such as: from the perspective of unbearable social conditions and the marginalization of poor social classes; unequal treatment of women and men at work; discrimination against foreigners and cultural, linguistic, religious and racial minorities; brutal expulsion of illegal immigrants and applicants today, disability, medicine, etc. In light of such specific challenges, various aspects of the significance of human dignity arise from the multitude of experiences of what it means to be humiliated and deeply hurt. All these have taken to a new level the perception of human dignity and have generated, depending on the stated problem, different legal, international instruments meant to protect the dignity of human being.

The COVID-19 pandemic has asserted major baseline facts from disaster anthropology during the last three decades. Resilience could be based on the solution to the question: "What is the maximum amount of destruction, if any, that the graph (a network) can sustain while ensuring that at least one of each technology type remains and that the remaining induced subgraph is properly colored?" The concept of a graph's Chromatic Core Subgraph is a solution to the stated problem. In this paper, the pandemic graphs and certain sequential graphs are developed. For these graphs, the Chromatic core subgraph is obtained. The results of the pandemic graphs' Chromatic core subgraph are used to develop a disaster recovery strategy for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The basic idea of this paper is to investigate the approximate solution to a well-known Fornberg–Whitham equation of arbitrary order. We consider the stated problem under ABC fractional order derivative. The proposed derivative is non-local and contains non-singular kernel of Mittag-Leffler type. With the help of Modified Homotopy Perturbation Method (MHPM), we find approximate solution to the aforesaid equations. The required solution is computed in the form of infinite series. The method needs no discretization or collocation and easy to implement to compute the approximate solution that we intend. We also compare our results with that of the exact solution for the initial four terms approximate solution as well as with that computed by the Laplace decomposition method. We also plot the approximate solution of considered model through surface plots. For numerical illustration, we use Matlab throughout this work.
