Abstract                This study aims to determine the correlation between social support and emotional intelligence with resilience to flood victims. Retrieval of data in this study uses a scale of resilience, scale of support, and emotional intelligence distributed to 100 research subjects, namely flood victims in Dalpenang Sampang village using purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis of research data using multiple regression analysis shows that there is a positive relationship between social support and emotional intelligence with resilience which is shown by the F number regression = 103.783 with p = 0.000 (p <0.001). Variables of social support and emotional intelligence simultaneously and very significantly correlate with resilience. Partially found the value of t regression between social support and resilience = 10.410, and partial r = 0.726, p = 0.00 (p <0.05), this means there is a positive and significant relationship between social support and resilience. The partial test also found t regression between emotional intelligence and resilience = 3.675 and r partial = 0.350 (p <0.05), this means there is a positive and very significant relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience. These results indicate that the three proposed hypotheses are accepted.                Keywords: social support, emotional intelligence, resilience

Personality in this case is OCEAN consists of five type, those are openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness dan neuroticism.  Humor consist of three types, those are cognitive humor, neutral humor, and violence humor. Likewise, emotional intelligence possessed by individuals will determine how each of them use humor in everyday life. Youth research subjects from several schools and universities. The sampling method uses convenience sampling technique. Respondent in this research is 1000, consist of male 425 subject (42,5%) and female 575 subject (57.5%). This research produces findings that show a significant relationship between variables and the greatest value in agreeableness personality with emotional intelligence in r = 0.265, p = 0.000 <0.05. The next significant relationship is cognitive humor with emotional intelligence in r = 0.083, p = 0.009 <0.05. The purpose of this paper is to examine the extent to which emotional intelligence moderates the relationship between social capital and small and medium-scaled enterprises’ (SMEs’) performance. Design/methodology/approach A total of 1,532 SMEs were selected through simple random sampling technique from a population of 5,009 SMEs. Structural equation modelling using AMOS was used to analyse the relationship between the variables. Findings The results revealed that social capital has a positive and significant relationship with emotional intelligence. Moreover, the study also showed that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with SME performance. Finally, the study found that emotional intelligence enhances the relationship between social capital and SME performance.
