This study aims to analyze students' interest in foreign languages such as German or Japanese. Descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique used descriptive qualitative and gave some reading texts to the children. The results of the study showed that the relationship between students to foreign languages other than the language that was introduced was very high, and they increasingly wanted to learn the foreign language even though they could not pronounce foreign vocabulary correctly, the foreign language contained in the Indonesian text did not make them stop reading or reading.

Reading is an important language skill whose main purpose is comprehension. In the reading process, visible symbols must be perceived and interpreted in the brain. Once the reading skill has been acquired, it can become a tool for having access to information, analyzing and interpreting it. All of these depend on the reading comprehension skill. Thus, evaluation of reading comprehension is one of the subjects to which great importance is attached. Particularly the evaluation of the level of students’ reading comprehension is a subject of great interest for many researchers. In this regard, the current study aimed to investigate the relationship between the Turkish elementary school students’ reading comprehension and reading motivation. At the end of the study, it was found that there is a positive, medium and significant correlation between the students’ levels of reading comprehension determined with cloze tests made up of both narrative and informative texts and reading motivation. In addition, a positive, medium and significant correlation was found between the students’ levels of reading comprehension determined with open-ended questions made up of both narrative and informative texts and reading motivation. Increase in the students’ reading motivation affects their reading comprehension positively and significantly. Furthermore, reading motivation explains 12-13% of the total variance in their reading comprehension.

In making a poem, elementary school children write metaphors in the scale of their understanding. In other words, the metaphors they wrote were natural, not exaggerated, and not too exaggerated. This study aims to analyze and describe the metaphorical imagery in Covid-19 poetry by elementary school children. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source used was in the form of five poems written by elementary school students in grade 6F which were obtained from the website of the Darussalam Batam Foundation. The results shows that the metaphor widely used in a Covid-19 poetry is anthropomorphic metaphor because children tend to compare things with similarities in their personal experiences.

<em>Students are more proficient in foreign languages and Indonesian, this can be seen from everyday conversations that rarely use Javanese. This study aims to determine the vocabulary mastery of Javanese language in elementary school students. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research method. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of Kutosari 7 State Elementary School and Pekunden Elementary School. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire instruments and tests in the form of student worksheets. The results of this study indicate that elementary school students lack mastery of Javanese language.</em>

The method of dialog (conversational Method) is one method of teaching foreign languages ​​such as Arabic, English, or other languages ​​by directly inviting students to dialogue / speak with the foreign language being taught. Playing drama is one way to make it easier for students to remember Arabic vocab. The conversational method intended here is a way of teaching by dramatizing behavior in the form of social relations. As for the problems that researchers get at the modern Babun Najah boarding school, some students at the Modern Pesantren Babun Najah are less able to understand the language when dialoguing with Arabic with their friends well and it is also difficult to pronounce the Arabic language. From these problems the researcher wants to discuss research entitled "Muhadatsah learning through the dramatization method to improve students' ability to engage in dialogue using Arabic."  The research method used by researchers in writing this thesis is an quasi experiment, this method which launches the design of a study, which aims to examine the relationship of cause and effect to the cause of the phenomenon. The mujtama 'in this study were students of class 1 Aliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School Babun Najah Ulee Kareng where students numbered 151 people, and the sample was class 1 MIA 4 students, amounting to 32 people, viewed from the learning aspects and the results of research has been done on that class is increasing. The Muhadatsah learning through the method of dramatization can improve students' ability in dialogue by using Arabic language because it can be seen through the value of to and it is clear that the value of 22.03% is higher than the percentage value of 5% = 2.04 and 1% 2.75. While the motivation of students in dialogue by using drama achieves excellent value categories.

This study aimed to analyze students misconception seen from the relationship between the results of the three tier test and interviews about chemical equilibrium material on the concept of determining the formula Kc, Kp, and the concept of Kc calculation. The research method was descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique in this study was a test. The research instrument was in the form of three tier test questions consisted of four concepts. The misconceptions were analyzed based on the result of tests given to 30 students were further clarified by interviewing as matching answers. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Wonosari in Gunungkidul Regency with five interviewed research subjects. The result showed that students experienced misconceptions about the concept of determining the Kc formula by 23.33%, determining the Kp formula by 13,33%, and concept of Kc calculation by 16,67%.

This research method is a 4-D model that has stages which include: 1) defining, 2) design, 3) development and 4) dissemination. Respondents tested a limited instrument involving 21 fourth grade students in elementary school. The results of this study obtained an assessment from experts in the validation of linguistic intelligence instruments with an average of 3.5 with worthiness of 86.75 in the very feasible category. The next activity is the stage of developing instruments to assess linguistic intelligence and then a limited trial of 21 students with the results of linguistic intelligence obtained by students 1 (4.8%) female students who have very high linguistic intelligence, 7 (33.33%) students who linguistic intelligence with a high category, 11 (52.4%) students who have linguistic intelligence with a high enough category and 2 (9.5%) students who have linguistic intelligence with a low category. It can be concluded that the instrument for assessing linguistic intelligence in elementary school students can be used on a broad scale

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the ider-ider learning model based on Javanese local wisdom on humanistic literacy. The research method in this research is quantitative method, while the research design uses Quasi Experimental Design. The data collection technique in this study is to use a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis in this study used a comparative test. the results of the comparison test with the Wilcoxon formula obtained a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05). These results indicate that there is a difference between humanistic literacy before and after the application of the Ider-Ider Learning Model Based on Local Wisdom. This model will be able to provide understanding to students about the value of togetherness or humanism. Based on the results of the study showed that the ider-ider learning model based on Javanese local wisdom was effective in improving the humanistic literacy of elementary school students.
