Geopathic stress and electrosmog affect on the human health in different ways. The list of symptoms is varied and very impressive, but the real problems posed for the study require a specialized approach to diagnosing the main causes of its occurrence and determines the presence of a new type of disease which described by the WHO in 2002 as "Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity Syndrome - EHS". Our attention as researchers focuses on the capabilities of geopathology (geobiology) to identify the causes of geopathic stress and to describe solutions for its neutralization. The aim of presented study was to create specialized tourism destination in pure nature for wellbeing and prevention of geopathic stress and electrosmog impact. The goal is to test the geomedical tourism as a special approach and problem solving. Objects of research: 16 famous Wellness and SPA destinations from 4 countries: Bansko, Sunny Beach, Pomorie (Bulgaria), Sulzberg- Bregenz (Austria), Ochrid (N Macedonia), Bad Griesbach (Germany) which were examined in 2010-2017. Methods: Test of differentiated self-assessment of the functional state (SAN), Applied Kinesiology Test, Geopathic stress Sequences (GSAS) and geomedical assessment of environment. Results: the core of Geomedical tourism destination management is a geomedical environment assessment of Climate recreation potential, Forest recreation potential- herbs, woods, lichens, Landscape recreation assessment, Environment assessment, Geopathic stress evaluation, Geological places assessment, Biomedical assessment of natural resources and Wellbeing effect. Some outlined benefits of outdoor recreation including post treatment geopathic stress analysis and Applied Kinesiology test-AK. Their positive results we can apply as an additional key for Geomedical tourism destination’s modelling. Our results from SAN test before and after treatment are very motivated to go over it. Conslusion. Geomedical tourism as a live style coaching including outdoor physical exercises, anti-stress massages, special nutrition menu, breathing treatment, forest meditation and geotherapy. Obviously, all forms of proactive and reactive healthcare including geomedical practices are part of health prevention tourism. Outcomes of Geomedical tourism: Creation and promotion of Individual Well Fare Guidelines for sustainability ecological and social life.

This study explores the role of John Dewey’s educational philosophy before and after World War I. Before World War I, Dewey’s educational philosophy emphasized individualized and socialized development for learners, importance of children’s education, and encouragement of diverse and creative educational measures. Although these views did not change significantly after World War I, Dewey reflected on the connection between education and social life to allow teachers to fulfill their social responsibilities and to integrate various social issues into teaching regimes to inspire children and create a habit of exploring experience. This study concludes that a democratic education allows children to participate in the problem–solving process, that continuous use of real social issues enhances democratic literacy for children, and that the quality of children’s education depends on teachers’ commitment to social responsibility.

Abstract Introduction Pectus excavatum (PE) is the most common chest wall deformity. Patients with PE may have cosmetic complaints, restricted physical capabilities, or both and may seek surgical correction. One method to assess satisfaction after surgery is the single step questionnaire (SSQ). Although the developers state that the SSQ produces a stabile score and only needs to be used once, we hypothesized that the score may depend on point in time after surgery. Materials and Methods One hundred and eight patients from a longitudinal cohort of patients undergoing a Nuss bar placement for PE were selected. Mean age was 16.0 years (range: 12–29). SSQ was completed at 6 weeks, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years postoperatively. Mean and median scores per question and total scores were calculated on each measurement moment. Overall scores were tested using the Friedman test. Results There were significant differences in overall SSQ scores (p < 0.009) throughout the postoperative period, especially between 6 weeks and 6 months (p = 0.006). Scores on general health, exercise capacity, impact on social life, pain during hospital stay, and after discharge changed also significant in the first 2 years after Nuss bar placement. Conclusion There were significant differences in total SSQ score depending on the time of application postoperatively. However, the most clinical relevant difference was between 6 weeks and 6 months. Assessment of the overall satisfaction postoperative with the SSQ questionnaire should not be done with a single measurement but rather at different postoperative time intervals before and after 6 months postoperatively.

Twenty -two continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients, mean age 48 years, at 3 U.K. renal units were assessed with the Nottingham Health Profile (N HP) before and after treatment with recombinant human erythropoietin (r-HuEPO). Mean (SD) hemoglobin (Hb) at baseline was 7.5 (1.0) gIn/dl and 10.8 (1.5) gIn/dl at retest. There were significant improvements in energy (p<0.0001), social life (p<0.005), relationships at home (p<0.05) and leisure pursuits (p<0.05). Twelve patients, mean age 51 years, who had already completed more than 9 months on r-HuEPO treatment were reassessed to determine the changes sustained. Mean (SD) Hb at second retest was 12.8 (1.3) gm/dl. Improvement in energy continued to be significant, and emotional wellbeing showed further improvement. Problems with household tasks, which had not shown significant improvement at Test B, were now considerably reduced (p=0.016). The study showed far-reaching benefits similar to those reported in hemodialysis patients, in a population with a higher mean age and higher potential coexisting illness or disability than most reported hemodialysis studies.

The aim of this study is pursue the effect of herbal point-patch treatment on allergic rhinitis patients by investigation of the changes of serum total IgE (T-IgE) and eosinophile cationic protein (ECP) levels and through assessment of the results of SF-36 and rhinitis severity questionnaires. A prospective, randomized, single-blind, parallel, controlled study was used. Forty- three eligible participants were selected from outpatients of the Dept. of Ear, Nose, and Throat and Chinese medicine clinic, and 33 eligible participants completed the treatment satisfactorily. Participants used a Chinese herbal point-patch or a placebo patch once a week, for three hours at a time, after being randomly assigned to a control or an experimental group. Each treatment course was three weeks in duration, and each participant underwent two courses of treatment. Before and after each course, participants evaluated the effectiveness of the treatment by completing a questionnaire, and blood samples were collected for T-IgE and ECP analysis. The data revealed that the acupoint herbal patch is a valuable treatment for allergic rhinitis, especially in the symptoms of sneezing, running and itchy nose. The results of the SF-36 indicate a distinct improvement in GH (general health) and VT (vitality) in patients treated with acupoint herbal patches. This study supports the belief that the acupoint herbal patch is an effective treatment for allergic rhinitis and can significantly improve general health, social life and vitality in quality of life.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a network of satellites, whose original purpose was to provide accurate navigation, guidance, and time transfer to military users. The past decade has also seen rapid concurrent growth in civilian GPS applications, including farming, mining, surveying, marine, and outdoor recreation. One of the most significant of these civilian applications is commercial aviation. A stand-alone civilian user enjoys an accuracy of 100 meters and 300 nanoseconds, 25 meters and 200 nanoseconds, before and after Selective Availability (SA) was turned off. In some applications, high accuracy is required. In this paper, five Neural Networks (NNs) are proposed for acceptable noise reduction of GPS receivers timing data. The paper uses from an actual data collection for evaluating the performance of the methods. An experimental test setup is designed and implemented for this purpose. The obtained experimental results from a Coarse Acquisition (C/A)-code single-frequency GPS receiver strongly support the potential of methods to give high accurate timing. Quality of the obtained results is very good, so that GPS timing RMS error reduce to less than 120 and 40 nanoseconds, with and without SA.

Abstract ObjectiveProper social participation and involvement in the daily activities of life increases the feeling of attachment, and increases a person's sense of worth, belonging, and dependence on society. Lack of social communication leads to anxiety, loneliness, depression, panic, mental. While COVID-19 has become a pandemic, public health measures to cut off human-to-human transmission may include quarantine and social isolation. Due to social distancing and quarantine practices, people's participation in many areas of social life and daily activities has been disrupted. The purpose of this study is to provide insight into the effects of the Covid 19 epidemic on integration into home activities, integration into the community and integration into productive activities, and overall determination of social participation during this epidemic.MethodsIn June 2020, the Social Integration Questionnaire (CIQ), which measures integration at home, integration in the community, and integration into purposeful and productive activities, was transcribed with the required demographic information in a web-based format. A total of 461 people (mean age 36.86±5.8 years) completed the social integration questionnaire in a cross-sectional study. The effects of Covid-19 on social interaction were then calculated by analyzing CIQ scores before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 and the data were analyzed using SPSS software version 22.ResultsComparing the participants score in the Community Integration Questionnaire before and after the COVID-19 pandemic showed that COVID-19 reduced home integration (from 4.6909±2.84 to 3.5938±2.80 , t= 11.151 p <0.000), social integration (from 8.6529±1.98 to 6.1150±2.10, t= 25.440, p <0.000), integration into productive and purposeful activities (from 5.3145±1.70 to 3.5098±2.02, t= 23.226, p <0.000) and total CIQ test score (from 18.6584±4.02 to 13.2185±4.56 , t= 29.022, p <0.000). These findings show how all three CIQ domains and their total scores decreased significantly after the outbreak of COVID-19.ConclusionAfter the COVID-19 epidemic, people's social life is severely disrupted. The direct and indirect psychological and social effects of COVID- 19 are widespread and can affect mental health. Trial Registration: This study was registered and approved by the Ethic Committee of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran (IR.USWR.REC.1399.228).
