The problems faced by teenagers in recent times have focused more on various delinquency committed by teenagers ranging from drug problems, brawls, bullying cases and other problems. The increasing number of problems faced by adolescents indicates the lack of attention from parents and society to the development of adolescent character. Facing this problem, one solution that can be used is to strengthen the character of youth through character education. Character education is considered the best choice in preparing future generations because it can be both preventive and curative. In this community service program, the training method is used to convey the basics of character education. This Character Personality Training Program aims to invite teenagers to recognize their potential and be able to interact well with their social environment. This training program was given to 30 teenagers who are members of the Padang Japang Mosque Youth Association (IRMPJ). The results of the training show that there is an understanding of adolescents about the importance of understanding themselves and having good character in socializing. Besides that, a continuous program is also needed so that the stages of the material provided can be carried out perfectly.

Galur Subdistrict is an area that has abundant art and tradition potential and is in great demandby its people. Unfortunately, the art performances and traditions that are carried out only aim merelyto continue what have been done through generations. On the other hand, the influx of modernarts has become a threat to preserving traditional culture, especially among young people who aresupposed to be the guardians of the traditions. Tis encourages Javanese Literature Study Programto carry out a community service program consisting of a series of training program as the StudyProgram’s concern and real action for cultural preservation.The training program is carried out through mentoring in motivating, counseling, education,discussion, and consultation. By using such mentoring techniques, it is expected that the result of theprogram will be optimum, namely raising public awareness to increase language literacy, knowledgeof literature, and the knowledge of the art performances they have. In turn, they will be able tomanage the performances as a professional art performance organizer in the region.The outcomes of the community service program comprise the increasing ability of participants inreading and writing simple texts using Javanese alphabet, participants’ ability to compose macapatsongs and sing them, the participants’ ability to write Javanese poems with the rinengga language,the participants’ ability create a series of dances and nursery rhymes to be performed, and theparticipants’ ability to become masters of ceremonies. The development of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter is no longer a stranger to the ears of Indonesian people, especially in Jakarta, including citizens who live in the Kalibaru area, Cilincing, North Jakarta. Even though the area is considered to be a slum and underdeveloped area, the fact is that almostall residents there have known and tried to follow the development of communication technology and social media. However, education especially for teenagers about using good and wise social media still needs to be improved. This Community Service Program aims to equip young people in the Kalibaru area, Cilincing, North Jakarta how to use good social media to improve their self-image and the image of the region through social media Instagram. Changing people's views about the slums of the Kalibaru area into a beautiful area as a tourist attraction. The training method (workshop) applies an interactive discussion technique that involves all participants to actively participate in the activity. The training results illustrate that teenagers in the Kalibaru area understand about the meaning of selfimage and the image of the region and also understand about the hope for self-image and the image of the Kalibaru area going forward. They gained newknowledge about the use of Instagram, the importance of caption, hash tag, the use of good and interesting grammar and mastery of photography techniques to build memorable information so that they can develop their self-image and the Kalibaru area as one of the tourist destinations in North Jakarta.

The Strengthening Character Education and Character through Story Telling Method with Darunnadwah Islamic Boarding School partners located at Jln. Gatot Subroto No. 55, Karangasih, North Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java is a community service program with the aim of strengthening the character education and character of students in partner locations due to the lack of understanding of the use of story telling methods in teaching and learning activities in schools. The method used is the lecture and discussion method. Pondok teachers are provided with structured material and the provision of several videos containing examples of story telling. This gives a positive influence in the form of new knowledge and skills, storytelling skills that are useful in teaching in the classroom. The results of this activity are, the enthusiasm or learning motivation of trainees should be appreciated and the teachers already have basic knowledge in applying story telling methods in strengthening character education and students' character and some techniques in reading stories in English. Character education has an important role in individual development. Every individual who has good character starts early. In Indonesia, character education in recent years has become part of formal education. It starts with character-based PAUD, followed by SD to SMA/MK/MAN which uses a curriculum known as the 2013 curriculum (kurtilas or K13). At universities such as Semarang State University (UNNES) since March 12, 2010 Unnes declared itself to be a Conservation University. As a Conservation University, since then UNNES has a vision of "becoming an international-standard conservation university that is healthy, superior and prosperous in 2020". To support the program, community service is carried out by realizing character education through origami. The method of implementation in this service program is teaching and evaluation. The servant is an observer who observes the process of directing the activities directly to the community from the beginning to the end. On the implementation of the participants were 32 people. Based on the activities that have been carried out it can be concluded that through origami can realize the character of conservation of UNNES which is humanistic, creative and honest by 100%, inspirational, caring, sporty and fair at 80%. While innovative is 70%.

ABSTRAKProgram pengabdian masyarakat  yaitu Misa dan Kotbah Yang diadakan pada Dies Natalis yang ke 41 Universitas Flores. melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan mahasiswa/I ,Pelajar dan  remaja. Maka dari hal kegiatan mahasiswa  lancar terlaksanakan mahasiswa mendapatkan respon yang positif dengan  kehadiran  kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaaan. PKM Dies Natalis Uniflor Ke 41 Penangulangan Kenakalan Remaja (Juvenile Delinquency)  Dengan Bimbingan Agama Di Perguruan Tinggi Universitas Flores Ende NTT. Tujuan dari Pengabdian Masyarakat yaitu Perguruan Tinggi Universitas Flores mensosialisaikan tentang etika/ sopan santun dalam berpakaian dan akhlak atau adab seorang pelajar terhadap guru atau pendidik. Namun, saat ini tak jarang kita menyaksikan dan terus disuguhkan dengan fenomena dan gejala – gejala degradasi moral/akhlak yang begitu dahsyat, baik di lingkungan sekitar, sekolah, perguruaan tinggi yang ditayangkan di berbagi media baik cetak maupun elektronik atau secara nyata yang sangat mengusik hati kita, seperti konflik antar agama, antar pelajar, mahasiswa, perkelahian antar remaja, pelajar,lingkungan, narkoba dan lainnya. Dengan demikian Panitia Dies Natalis Universitas Flores Ke 41.. bersama Dosen Agama dan Dosen Pendidikan Jasmani mengangkat tema “ mengelola pendidikan karakter. Baik dalam hal persepsi, kebijakan dalam revitalisasi pendidikan karakter, mulai dari tingkat dasar hingga universitas/ perguruan tinggi. Pendidikan karakter harus masuk dalam arus utama system pendidikan kita. Character education has an important role in forming a quality generation. One effort that can be made to instill character values in future generations is through reading and writing Al-Qur'an activities. This article aims to describe the habituation of character education through reading and writing Al-Quran program in Sei Ulak Canoco Village, Anjir Muara District, Barito Kuala Regency. This article was compiled from the results of community service carried out on October 13 and 25, 2020. In the results of the analysis part, researchers used literature studies from various sources and scientific journals. The results of the discussion described that reading and writing Al-Qur'an can be an activity to habituate children with applying religious teachings and forming religious characters. The Al-Qur'an reading and writing activities are carried out using a fun approach for children such as simple games and competitions. Therefore, reading and writing Al-Qur’an is a reflection that instilling a religious character can be done from childhood, until the end of his life.

Muhammadiyah Junior High School 02 of Batu city has implemented the Strengthening of Character Education (SBE) through community service program in 2017. It is analyzed that the proram has obstacles in its implementation of classroom-based (SBE), it is proved by the inability of teachers to integrate character values into subjects to match the curriculum content. Thus, it is projected that to improve classroom-based SBE can be done by integrating literacy activities. The classroom-based SBE approach can be implemented through developing instructional method, classroom management, and integrating literacy activities into lesson plan of 2013 Curriculum. This community service program aims to improve SBE through literacy movement at MJHS 02 of Batu City. The method implemented was participation-based method through training and mentoring of SBE, also mentoring to plan and practice the SBE implementation through literacy movement. This program involves school teachers and principle of SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Batu, as many of 16 personnel. Data collection was gathered through observation and document which then analyzed descriptively. Results show that there is an improvement on teachers’ competence in developing lesson plan using classroom-based SBE concept through literacy movement, and an improvement also shown on teachers’ skill in implementing class instruction which is based on 2013 Curriculum that applies SBE through literacy movement. This improvement simultaneously contributes to students’ achievement expected in the 2013 Curriculum, namely character improvement.

Community Service is one of the programs that are needed by the community today. This is done as an effort to respond to the needs of the community and is real program and realistic, especially in the fields of education, social, economic and cultural. Community Service Program is a program that is learning, studying and serving that is realized in the form of introduction and appreciation of community development through the clarity of planned change programs and problem solving methods regarding the ability to choose and use the right skills. A big nation is a nation that wants to respect its culture. Indonesia has a diversity of cultures that are characteristic and assets of the Indonesian nation. But most of the younger generation has forgotten a lot of the culture of the nation. The tendency of the younger generation now prefers outside cultures and many younger generations are less able to sort out most of which have negative impacts rather than a positive impact on themselves and others as well as the environment. There is a need for character education so that the younger generation can be relied upon in the future according to the nation's culture, such as being responsible for mutual cooperation, mutual assistance and good manners. Reog Kendhang's art proves that local culture can increase the sense of community nationalism and be able to become social controls so as not to fall into bad lifestyle. The formation of a national culture that can truly reunite all components of the nation's culture, therefore it is necessary to have a deeper introduction to history and cultural heritage in search of the identity of a pluralistic Indonesian society.

Professional teachers can be seen from the ability of teachers to produce quality Classroom Action Research (CAR). If seen not all teachers are able to produce research in accordance with CAR standards. Through Community Service Program, Unipa Surabaya PGSD Study Program with the theme of Classroom Action Research Writing (CAR) for Elementary School Teachers in Gayungan II Elementary School in Surabaya is expected to help teachers in producing quality CAR. From the results of the training that has been carried out, it seems that the enthusiasm of the SDN Gayungan 2 Surabaya teacher in following the CAR was very good. The majority of participants felt they needed to get CAR training. Participants feel the benefits after receiving CAR training.
