Gerindra is one of the leading political parties in Indonesia. Edhy Prabowo is known as an influential figure in the Gerindra Party who currently serves as Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party. Communication is very important in human life, communication is in every human activity. The form can be in the form of writing, oral, image, gesture, printed words. The style of communication comes in part of communication activities in general. Communication style can influence the smoothness of the communication process in an organization. Job performance is greatly influenced by the motivation of employees who are high in doing their jobs. Motivation for each person or individual is different. Depending on the impulse that is basis of someone doing something or working. This study aims to determine the communication style of Edhy Prabowoin motivating Prabowo Subianto’s guards. The concepts used in this study include the style communication, organizational communication, and work motivation. The research paradigm use constructivists with a descriptive qualitative  reaserch approach. The subjects of the study were Deputy General of Gerindra Party and Guard Prabowo Subianto. The results of the study revealed that the communication style used by Edhy Prabowo as Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party was a combination of the equalitarian style and the structuring style. In leading the organization Edhy Prabowo also uses a democratic leadership style and implements two way communication.Keyword          : Communication Style and Motivation.

The research aims to obtain data on (1) the principal's leadership style in improving work discipline, (2) the principal's leadership style in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) the principal's leadership style in increasing responsibility and (4) constraints that faced by principals in improving expected teacher performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the technique of data collection is done through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This study shows that (1) principals apply democratic leadership styles in improving discipline, (2) principals apply developer leadership styles (builders) in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) principals apply executive leadership styles in increasing teacher responsibilities, and (4) constraints faced by the principal, namely the decline in teacher discipline, lack of teacher performance motivation, and a low sense of teacher responsibility in learning. It is recommended that the principal can apply a better or varied leadership style so that the desired goals can be achieved well and maximally.

Organizations cannot exist without effective communication because the changing in social and economic atmosphere bring changes in the work settings of any organization. The study determined impact of organizational communication on job performance in Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA) Ogun State, Nigeria. Proportionate stratified random sampling technique was use to select 114 respondents which represented 35% of the total population.  The study  showed that majority (53.3%) of employees were male , 60.9% of the employees fall within the age categories of 20-40 years, majority (77.2%) were married, more than half  (58.7%) had higher degrees. Also, the mean age of the respondents was 38.5 years. The findings also revealed that the most preferred communication channel was Face to face (x̅=3.46), Memo ((x̅=3.42) and Letter (x̅=3.30, while the least preferred communication channels were, Facebook (x̅=2.42), WhatsApp (x̅=2.27 and Intranet (x̅=2.0). Furthermore, the study revealed that majority of the respondents (75.2%) indicated that leaders at OORBDA deployed the use of Assertive/dominant communication styles while very few (8.3%) indicated that aggressive communication style in the organization. The inferential statistics show that significant relationship was existed between marital status (χ2=12.795, p<0.00), education (χ2=11.762, p<0.00) and employee’s job performance. Study’s analysis showed that organization communication styles do not have significant effect on job performance. The study concluded that the employees who are better educated perform well on their job also, majority of leader at OORBDA deployed the use of assertive/dominant communication style in the organization. Management of the organization should ensure motivation incentives such as access to training and promotion as at when due to deserving employees are ensured to boost employees’ job performance.

This study investigated the relationship between principals’ leadership styles and secondary school teachers’ job performance in Edo Central Senatorial District, Nigeria. A correlational design was adopted for the study. Two adapted questionnaires titled “Principals’ Leadership Style Questionnaire” (PLESQUE) and “Teachers’ Job Performance Questionnaire” (TEJOPAQ) were administered to teachers and principals drawn from a population of 397 senior secondary school teachers and 69 principals in the Senatorial District respectively. The Cronbach alphas for the three sub-scales in PLESQUE were .710, .883 and .848 for democratic, autocratic and laissez-faire leadership styles respectively, while the Cronbach alpha for TEJOPAQ was .882 for teachers’ job performance. Percentages, multiple regression and Pearson product-moment correlation were used to test the hypotheses at the .05 level of significance. Results showed that democratic, autocratic and laissez-faire leadership styles jointly contributed about 68.3% variations in the job performance of teachers, while democratic and laissez-faire leadership styles had the most prominent positive influence on teachers’ job performance in the area of study. It was recommended, amongst other things, that the use of a democratic leadership style should be encouraged among the principals of senior secondary schools in the district.

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and factors that influence the leadership style of the Duampanua Urban Village chief in carrying out Government development and management.The research method used is descriptive qualitative by examining the influence of the implementation of the leadership of the village chief with in-depth interviews through questionnaires.The results of the study showed that the leadership style adopted by the chief of Duampanua village, Baranti District, Sidrap Regency was democratic leadership style and followed by patenalistic style. The main supporting factors are the level of education, followed by personality and work motivation   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan factor-factor yang mempengaruhi gaya kemimpiminan kepala Kelurahan Duampanua dalam melaksanakan Pembangunan dan manajemen pemerintahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriftif dengan menelaah pengaruhi implementasi kepemimpinan  kepala kelurahan dengan wawancara mendalam melalui kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menanujukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh kepala kelurahan Duampanua Kecamatan Baranti Kabupaten Sidrap yaitu gaya kepemimpinan demokratif dan disusul dengan gaya patenalistik. Factor pendukung utama yaitu tingkat pendidikan, disusul kepribadian dan motovasi kerja

The study focused on the influence of democratic leadership style on job performance of subordinates in academic libraries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The research design adopted for the study was a survey, while the 74 professional and para-professional staff working in the libraries studied were the respondents. Data collection was through questionnaire instrument titled “Democratic Leadership Style on Job Performance of Subordinates in Academic Libraries (DLSJPSAL)” made up of of five (5) item statements. Research question was answered using frequency counts, total score and means. Findings of the study revealed that democratic leadership style in academic libraries studied has positive influence on subordinates’ job performance because it results in high employees’ productivity. This style of leadership tends to have work groups that were very productive and subordinates showed a high degree of satisfaction on the job. Among others, the researchers recommended that heads of academic libraries should be encouraged to adopt democratic leadership style since it yields higher result in job performance of subordinates and consequently to users’ satisfaction with library services.

ABSTRACT: RELATIONSHIP OF ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION, LEADERSHIP STYLE, MOTIVATION AND ATTITUDE WITH NURSE PERFORMANCE IN RSUD Dr.A.DADI TJOKRODIPO BANDAR LAMPUNG  Introduction: Performance is termed as job performance, in a broader sense, namely the results of work in quality, quantity, and timeliness achieved by an employee in carrying out their duties according to the responsibilities given. Almost all employee performance measurements consider the quantity, quality, and timeliness of work. Factors that affect performance include leadership, motivation, discipline and skills, and situational or work environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between organizational communication, leadership style, motivation, and attitude with the performance of nurses at RSUD Dr.A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung in 2020.Research Methods: The type of research used in this study is quantitative and the design in this study uses descriptive-analytic by using a cross-sectional approach, namely the researcher visits the respondents directly to collect data at that time. The population in this study were all nurses at RSUD Dr.A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung in 2020, totaling 98 respondents, the sample obtained was 78 people. In this study, the sampling technique used is the total population. Results: Based on the results of the Chi-Square test, there is a relationship between organizational communication (0.006), leadership (0.001), motivation (0.000), and attitude (0.002) with the performance of nurses at RSUD Dr.A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung in 2020. Conclusion: It is hoped that the results of this study will become input so that RSUD Dr.A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung can provide training facilities and motivational seminars to improve the performance of nurses, as well as provide rewards to nurses who excel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat Di RSUD Dr.A.Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung Tahun 2020 yang berjumlah 98 responden, sampel yang didapatkan berjumlah 78 orang. This research aims at finding the answer to the research ‘To what extent does Amazon.com, Inc's success be accredited to its's organizational culture and ND Jeff Bezos's leadership style?  This research question is answered by using the concepts of Business management for identifying the organisational culture of Amazon and leadership style od Jeff Bezzo and later identify the role of the corporate culture and leadersip style in the success of Amazon. The secondary research shows that Amazon has an extremenly positive and welcoming organizational culture along with effective leadership style of Jeff bezzo which has led to the success of the company. Organisational culture motivate the human resources of the company to give their best efforts towards excellent customer services and customer satisfaction. The CEO jeff has inculcated a warn culture by injecting his values and used a mix of Authoratirian and democratic leadership style which has led to the success of the company. Human resources are the most important asset of every organisation and the positive organisational culture has contributed to the optimum utilization of the human resource capabilities in Amazon. The research essay end with the finding that the visonary leadership style of Jeff has inducted the long term values in the employees of Amazon. Amazon’s organisational culture can be depicted in the rituals, stories, behavior, communication, style, workplace practices, celebrations and dress code of the employees and management

This study aims to find out how big the influence of Leadership Style on Employee Performance; and How big influence of Work Motivation to Employee Work Achievement; The population in this study is all employees of Regional Office of Directorate General of Treasury in Kupang city. The sample in this research is 52 employees. Data collection techniques used in this study are questionnaires, observations and documentation. The results of the study showed that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of Leadership Style on Employee Performance, and There is a positive and significant influence Motivation Work on Job Performance Employees. In addition There are positive and significant influence of Leadership Style and Work Motivation collectively towards Employee Work Achievement.

This study looks into the impact of the principal's democratic leadership style on teacher performance in junior high schools in Palopo City's Bara District. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research is ex-post facto. The population is all junior high school teachers in the Bara sub-district of Palopo city, totaling 134 people. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. The sample used was 39 teachers—data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Furthermore, the research data were analyzed statistically using data processing, namely: Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. This study found that the democratic leadership style displayed by the principal has a strong influence and significance on the performance of teachers in SMP/MTs in Bara District, Palopo City. This is because the leadership style displayed by the principal through several indicators can provide a significant enough stimulant to the teacher so that teachers' work motivation can increase adequately, which impacts the achievement of educational and learning goals in schools. This study implies the importance of the leadership style displayed by the principal in building teacher motivation and commitment in schools to generate optimal teacher performance in schools.

Significant research has focused on e-mail, face-to-face (FTF), and other asynchronous mediated communication as the communication media of choice within organizations. Modern organizations, however, have other unconventional tools at their disposal. While the economy of scale has made videoconferencing an affordable medium of choice because it precludes travel and is accessible on demand, the suitability of the videoconferencing for organizational meetings is scarce in the literature. As such, this paper explores and presents an account of videoconferencing use in a governmental organization and address implications for meetings and general communication process.
