The output of the DBS FM Radio program should be based on a vision and mission that is generally required to fulfill the trilogy rules of the broadcast radio function, which is to inform, educate and entertain. The three do not stand alone because they are a unitary target. The vision and mission of DBS FM Radio broadcast cannot be separated from the vision and mission of the Da'wah Faculty of Ibrahimy University as a logical consequence in its position as campus radio, student practicum radio. The flow that must be understood by DBS FM Radio broadcasting organizers should be different from commercial radio broadcasting. The communication pattern and broadcast material must be able to meet the target audience of the audience, namely students, students and the community around the Salafiyah Syafiiyah Islamic Boarding School Sukorejo Situbondo. Efforts must be made to obtain a goal setting with the SMART formula that is expected to be able to create changes from existing conditions to better conditions with HR qualifications that have the ability to announce skills, operating skills and attitude skills, namely by assisting the development model as a replicable alternative effort to achieve competitive advantage.

At present, it is very important to carry out an analysis of the productivity of the organization, because it is necessary to know where it is and where it is going, this in order to have a clear idea of the present, as well as future plans . In this work, a comprehensive and reliable scenario will be designed through formal context measurement tools that allow us to develop a proposal for a development model. The research will work under a quantitative approach because the observed phenomena are measured and quantified by giving a statistical analysis, in addition to the types of research used; documentary, since documents and statistics will be used to perform the analysis in addition to applying surveys and evaluations to pharmacies belonging to said area and the correlational, since the context variables, their interrelation, will be analyzed to determine their impact on the research . This work will increase the benefits for the organization, including having current data and statistics about productivity, as well as a proposal for improvement that will allow us to reduce the deficiencies in the organization in order to achieve a competitive advantage over its competitors.

This article discussed radio broadcasting technology in general and how the industry is relatively resilient amid the development of other media technologies today, such as the Internet. Internet technology is able to present number of social networks through social media that are interactive, direct, and user generated. In addition, the Internet forces conventional broadcasting industries such as radio to penetrate digital mechanisms by practicing radio streaming. Radio broadcasting also add this type of interaction to their listeners, for example through websites, blogs, vlogs (video blogs), Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook accounts. This integrated conventional media technology and new media is often called media convergence. By using qualitative approach and descriptive method, this paper explained a case of media convergence by one of the radio broadcast station in Indonesia that is Delta FM. As a result, Delta FM presents its broadcasts with the help of new media in order to survive in the broadcasting industry amid the current widespread use of new media.

Among 11 Cittaslow in Turkey, 7 Cittaslow destinations (Gökçeada, Halfeti, Perşembe, Seferihisar, Şavşat, Vize, Yalvaç) that have an official municipality Facebook page were included to the research. This destinations’ posts between January 2016 and June 2016 were analysed in terms of content, frequency and interactivity by utilising the categories Hays et al. (2013) created in their study. The findings of this study show that, Seferihisar Municipality uses social media more effectively in terms of content and post frequency but they also reveal that interactivity which is one of the most important features of social media is not adequately heeded by all Cittaslow destinations in Turkey.

AbstractThe paper set out a platform to investigate the impact of FM radio broadcast in local dialects on rural community development in the Tamale Metropolis of Northern Ghana. The study adopts survey design and also employs probability proportional techniques to select communities for the study. The main thrust of this paper is on the impact of local dialect on rural community development, preferences of development programmes and the community’s participation in the production of radio programmes. Out of 400 questionnaires distributed, 392 was retrieved and analysed. From the results, it is established that local dialect broadcast on radio have an impact on development of rural communities. The radio frequency spectrum constitutes a limited and strategic natural resource with high economic value, so it must be managed effectively and efficiently to obtain optimal benefits by observing national and international legal principles. Radio Community Broadcasting Institution uses limited frequency allocation in three channels, namely, in the frequency channels 202 (107.7 MHz), 203 (107.8 MHz), and 204 (107.9 MHz), with limited transmit power and area coverage. The problem in this research is the frequency overlap with other community radios in an area. The issue raised is whether it is possible to establish a new community radio in the Batang Regency area by paying attention to existing radios that have licenses in districts/cities that are in the area directly adjacent to Batang Regency by considering the limited allocation of radio frequency channels community, without the occurrence of radio frequency interference with other community radios. The purpose of this research is to solve these problems. It is necessary to have a policy in determining radio frequency users to get good quality radio broadcast reception. The method used is to analyze the frequency determination technique based on the interference analysis on other community broadcasters. By using the Radio Mobile Software for frequency repetition simulation, in this research, the results show that Batang FM Community Radio does not allow to get frequency channels for community radio operations. After all, it interferes with the Service Area of Soneta FM Radio in Pekalongan City because it does not meet the requirements for determining the frequency channel = Eu> NF, namely the Nuisance Field (NF) value of 109.7 dB is greater than the Minimum Usable Field strength (Eu) of 66 dB. In comparison, Limpung FM Radio gets radio frequency on channel 203 (frequency 107.8 MHz) because it meets the requirements for determining the frequency channel = Eu> NF, namely the Minimum Usable Field strength (Eu) 66 dB greater than the Nuisance Field (NF) of 55.7 dB.
