This study aims to develop a contextual mathematics learning video based on semiotics that supports learning from home. This type of research is development research using a 4-D model, which is modified into three stages, namely define, design, and develop. The research subjects were grade 6th elementary school students in Tuban, East Java. In the defined stage, a needs analysis is carried out as a reference for development. The design stage produces research instruments and instructional video designs. The development stage states that based on the results of the validation of media experts by 85% and material experts by 87%, each of which comes from 21 points of assessment indicators, it shows that it meets the valid criteria as well as positive responses of 85.3% of 28 students. The right-hand t-test obtained t-count t-table, namely 3.886 1.675. It indicates that the learning outcomes of students who use semiotic-based contextual mathematics learning videos on the perimeter of circle material are better than students who do not use them. This learning video has reached effective criteria.

AbstrakAnggapan mempelajari budaya merupakan hal yang membosankan dan tidak berguna perlu diperbaiki. Menciptakan kombinasi kebudayaan  dengan pembelajaran, khususnya pada pelajaran yang dianggap sulit serta membosankan, seperti matematika dapat menjadi solusi. Etnomatematika merupakan salah satu jembatan antara matematika dan kebudayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif berbasis etnomatematika pada materi bangun datar dan bangun ruang dengan pendekatan four-D model. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan pendekatan four-D model, terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan desseminate. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Gamel. Berdasarkan proses dan hasil penelitian pengembangan dapat diketahui proses produksi bahan ajar dilakukan dalam rangka mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika untuk siswa sekolah dasar dengan materi bangun datar dan ruang. Deskripsi hasil validasi pada tahap pengembangan dan validasi ahli isi atau materi menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi dari ahli media dalam kategori valid. Bahan ajar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.  Development Of Learning Media Interactive Multimedia Traditional Cooking Tools Based on Ethnomatematics AbstractThe notion that studying culture is boring and useless needs to be corrected. Creating a cultural combination with learning, especially in subjects that are considered difficult and boring, such as mathematics can be a solution. Ethnomatematics is one of the bridges between mathematics and culture. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning media based on ethno-mathematics on plane and solid figure using the four-D model approach. The research method used experimental with a four-D model approach, namely the stages of define, design, develop, and Desseminate. The research subjects were students in grade 5 at SD Negeri Gamel. Based on the process and the results of development research, it can be seen that the production process of teaching materials is carried out in order to develop mathematics teaching materials for elementary school students with flat and room building materials. The description of the validation results at the development stage and the content or material expert validation shows that the validation results from the media experts are in the valid category and worth it to use.

The rapid development of technology during the Covid 19 pandemic required educators to learn to use and utilize computer technology. This study aims to develop learning media for mathematics in building materials (cubes & blocks) through power point animations for fifth grade elementary school students, and to test the validity and practicality of learning media for geometric shapes through animation power points. The research method used, namely research and development (R&D) is research  the ADDIE development model which consists of the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The test subjects were fifth grade students at SDN Parung Panjang 06. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires. The result of this research is a video of learning mathematics on the material of building space (cube & block) class V. Development of learning video by using and utilizing animation on power point. The developed mathematics learning media has the criteria of "very valid" and "practical". The level of validity of the learning media can be seen from the results of the media validation assessment as much as 92.5% with the "very valid" criteria, while the results of the material validation assessment as much as 98.3% with the "very valid" criteria. The level of practicality of the learning media from the assessment of student responses scored as much as 79% with the "practical" criteria, while the results of the teacher response assessment obtained a score of 76.6% with the "practical" criteria.

This research aims to produce good mathematics learning media for Simple Interest Rate and Compound Interest Rates and find out the media's response and role towards students. This type of research is development research that begins with the development of web-based media. The development model used is a modified Four-D (4D) development model, namely the definition stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The research subjects were students of the Gorontalo State University mathematics study program. The results showed that the quality of the media based on the results of the validation by media experts was very valid. Students give a positive response. This shows that learning media can be used in the learning process, and learning media can increase student understanding.

This article describes the development of handep cooperative learning model consist of 3-4 members become pair handep cooperative learning model in the form of module and validated by experts and students who used it. The model of development used R2D2, that focused on the design and development stage. The draft of the model at the single-path prototype level validated by the learning expert and small group validation in context the of mathematics learning in secondary school, to get the model at alpha version level. The instrument is rubric and questionnaire for small group testing. The result of the research (1) the model has fulflled the principle of quantum teaching that is context orchestrations include an exciting learning atmosphere and solid foundation; (2) junior high school students rated the model interesting and fun; (3) learning steps that to be challenging on individual work steps and mutually assisting in solved the difcult problems for students individually; (4) the model has reached the alpha version level. Abstrak Artikel ini menjelaskan pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep beranggotakan 3-4 orang menjadi model kooperatif handep berpasangan dalam bentuk modul dan dinilai oleh pakar dan siswa yang menggunakannya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah R2D2 (Recursive, Reflective, Design and Development), difokuskan pada tahap design and development. Draf model pada level single path prototype divalidasi oleh pakar pembelajaran dan uji kelompok kecil dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP, untuk mendapatkan model pada level alpha version. Instrumen berupa koesioner dengan pertanyaan terbuka untuk validasi ahli, dan angket respon siswa untuk uji kelompok kecil. Hasil penelitian (1) model telah memenuhi kaidah Quantum teaching yaitu orkestrasi konteks meliputi suasana belajar yang menggairahkan dan landasan yang kokoh, (2) siswa SMP menilai model tersebut menarik dan menyenangkan, (3) langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dirasakan menantang pada langkah bekerja secara individual dan saling membantu secara bergiliran dalam memecahkan masalah sulit bagi siswa secara individual, dan (4) model telah mencapai level alpha version. This article explores the skills and difficulties in critical thinking of junior Indonesian high school students in mathematics learning. Fifty students of grade IX who were purposive randomly selected from state junior secondary schools in Yogyakarta City were involved as the research subjects. The data were obtained from the test of mathematical critical thinking on the material of geometry. The test consisted of four items that describe each aspect of critical thinking skills, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The analysis was done by showing the steps of the students ‘answers. The result indicated that the average of the aspects of mathematical critical thinking of students were on the high criteria with students’ greatest difficulties being in the analysis standard. Meanwhile,the average student success in the interpretation standard was 82%, the standard of the analysis was 46.25%, the evaluation standard was 78.25%, and the inference standard was 77%. Furthermore, from the results of the sample students’ exploration answers, it is expected that future teaching should not only focus on fluency in calculation but also on training the students in how to explain the solution steps of the problem solving process as this is important part in critical thinking.

The research objective was to develop thematic teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning in the two sub-theme of the diversity of living things in grade IV elementary schools. The development of teaching materials is motivated by the need for learning that can improve students' ability in problem solving, the ability to think critically, and foster curiosity. This type of research is development research (research and development). The development model used is the 4-D model which consists of the stages of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The define stage will carry out an analysis of the curriculum, student analysis and needs analysis. The design stage is carried out by designing the lesson plans and teaching materials. The development stage is carried out by testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness test. The disseminate stage cannot be carried out because of the covid pandemic 19. The results of the research at the design stage obtained RPP and teaching materials designed by following PBL steps. The development stage based on the validity test of teaching materials is categorized as valid. At the effectiveness stage, the results showed that the teaching materials were effective so that they were easy to use by fourth grade students of SDN 03 Muaro. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the thematic learning tools based on Problem Based Learning on the sub-theme of the Diversity of Living Things for grade IV SD that have been produced can be declared valid, practical and effective.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan instrumen tes tematik terpadu yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model R&D Borg & Gall. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportionate stratified random sampling dengan strata akreditasi sekolah dan status sekolah. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Malang sebanyak 267 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, angket, observasi, dan tes. Data hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan konversi skor skala 4, sedangkan validitas empiris dan reliabilitas dianalisis dengan menggunakan software Ministep (Winsteps) Rasch Model  dan software SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian ini adalah paket instrumen tes tematik terpadu berbasis Kurikulum 2013 dan PISA’ literacy yang valid dan reliabel terdiri dari 36 soal dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, sedangkan 4 soal lainnya tidak valid.   Integrated Thematic Test Instruments Based on PISA’s Literacy And 2013 Curriculum For Elementary Student Abstract The aims of this study was to produce a valid and reliable integrated thematic test instrument to measure student learning outcomes. This study adapted the R & D model Borg & Gall. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling with school accreditation strata and school status. The research subjects were 267 grade IV elementary school students in Malang Regency. Data collection techniques were interview, questionnaire, observation, and test techniques. Validation data were analyzed using 4 score conversion scale, while empirical and reliability validity was analyzed using Ministep (Winsteps) Rasch Model software and SPSS 16 software. The results of this study were packages of integrated thematic test instruments based on 2013 curriculum and PISA 'literacy that were valid and reliable consists of 36 items declared valid and reliable, while 4 other items are invalid.

<p>The communication ability possessed by humans, especially Christians, is used to realize God's will. One of them is in carrying out the real Great Commission in the field of education, especially in the learning process. Learning in the classroom must take place effectively so that learning objectives are achieved through the realization of effective communication. Often, teachers have not been able to build effective communication because teachers are not able to manage the class properly through the delivery of appropriate information and according to the characteristics of student development, so that many students are less serious and disciplined in learning. Therefore, this article aims to discuss the importance of delivering the right information in building effective communication to third grade elementary school students as research subjects in this paper. Based on the results of the study, it was found that teachers experienced problems in managing the class, especially in attracting students' attention, giving instructions, conveying and applying class rules and procedures so that effective communication in classroom management had not been achieved, while in delivering subject matter, effective communication was quite built because students actively involved. Submission of appropriate information is very important for teachers to do, especially in building effective communication because it really determines the success or failure of learning activities by considering the characteristics of student development. Christian teachers also act as facilitators who reflect Christian values in every teaching they do.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Kemampuan berkomunikasi yang dimiliki oleh manusia terutama orang Kristen digunakan untuk mewujudkan kehendak Tuhan. Salah satunya dalam menjalankan Amanat Agung yang nyata dalam bidang pendidikan khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran di dalam kelas harus berlangsung dengan efektif agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai melalui terwujudnya komunikasi efektif. Sering kali, guru belum dapat membangun komunikasi efektif tersebut karena guru tidak mampu mengelola kelas dengan baik melalui penyampaian informasi yang tepat dan sesuai karakteristik perkembangan siswa, sehingga banyak siswa yang kurang serius dan disiplin dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai pentingnya penyampaian informasi yang tepat dalam membangun komunikasi efektif kepada siswa kelas III SD sebagai subjek penelitian dalam makalah ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ditemukan bahwa guru mengalami kendala dalam mengelola kelas khususnya dalam menarik perhatian siswa, memberi instruksi, menyampaikan dan menerapkan peraturan<em> </em>dan prosedur kelas sehingga komunikasi efektif dalam pengelolaan kelas belum tercapai, sedangkan dalam penyampaian materi pelajaran, komunikasi efektif cukup terbangun karena siswa terlibat aktif. Penyampaian informasi yang tepat sangatlah penting untuk guru lakukan khususnya dalam membangun komunikasi efektif karena sangat menentukan berhasil atau tidaknya kegiatan pembelajaran dengan mempertimbangakan karakteristik perkembangan siswa. Guru Kristen juga berperan sebagai fasilitator yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam setiap pengajaran yang dilakukannya.</p><div><hr align="left" size="1" width="33%" /></div>

The research aims at producing a valid biology module with local wisdom-based to senior high school students of Lubuklinggau. The research used research and development design with local wisdom-based. The development of the module refered to four D model which was developed by Thiagarajan. The model consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, the research was limited on the development stage, particularly on validation stage. The validity test on this stage was a theoretic validity, which is executed by the three experts. The validation included material validation, construction/media validation, and language validation. The result showed that the development met the validity criteria with material validity score 4,165; construction/media validity score 4,259; and language validity  score 4,338 categorised to be 'very valid'. In conclusion, the biology module developed with local wisdom-based to senior high school students of Lubuklinggau was valid. Keywords: validity, biology module, local wisdom

The purpose of this study was to develop a culture-based mathematics learning model through traditional Javanese games and find out the feasibility so that it could be used for elementary school students. This development research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Through these stages of development, it  produce culture-based mathematics learning model through traditional Javanese games products with the main products in the form of model books, student books, teacher books, syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets. The research subjects were 19 fourth grade students at Klegenwonosari Elementary School. The data collection techniques in this study were carried out test and non-test. The data analysis technique in this study was in scores and percentages. Starting from the needs analysis of learning models, culture-based needs analysis, and curriculum analysis it is known that the use of mathematical learning models through traditional games has been done but outside learning, students were lack of knowledge about the traditional Javanese culture games that were Gobag Sodor and Engklek. Based on the results of the study, the mathematical learning model through traditional Javanese games fulfills the valid criteria with an average score of 3.79 from the model expert's assessment. Fulfill the effective criteria by obtaining the results of completeness of students 84.21% and get very positive students responses with a percentage of 90.90%. Therefore, Culture-based Mathmatics learning model through traditional Javanese games is suitable for elementary students. Keywords: traditional Javanes games, mathematics models, ethnomatematics
