Stakeholder ideas and ideas in their reactualization never stop contributing discourse to change in the field of education. The leaders of educational institutions have full responsibility in carrying out improving the quality of education. This study aims to introduce leadership typologies in improving the quality of Islamic education in madrasas, ranging from the type of leadership, the leadership process of madrasa heads to the implementation of leadership in madrassas in improving quality. This research uses a literature study method. As for the results of this study indicate the role of leadership in carrying out its duties to members include: (a) Making decisions. (b) Developing the imagination; (c) Developing the loyalty of followers; (d) Control of the plan; (e) Utilizing human resources and other resources. (f) Carry out controls and corrections for errors; (g) Give a token of appreciation; (h) Delegating authority to subordinates; (i) Implement decisions by giving encouragement to followers.

Ali Bin Abi Talib once said that children should be educated in accordance with the  development of the times. The Ali bin Abi Talib’s statement could be considered as his attention more to the development of human civilization. For that reason, there should be studies focused on the role of educational institutions in facing the challenges of the times. On this stand, the writer raises the existence of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) for being considered to have been able to survive amid the onslaught of civilization increasingly obscuring cultural identity. In addition, this study also aims to identify and discuss the role of pesantren in the modern era. This is a literature study using a descriptive and exploratory approach. It can be concluded that pesantren are non-formal Islamic educational institutions. Pesantren have permanent and distictive methods and learning models. The purpose of pesantren education is the same as Islamic education in general, instilling a sense of virtue, familiarizing themselves with courtesy, preparing for a holy, sincere and honest life entirely. Pesantren could be seen from three aspects: (a) pesantren that are seen from facilities and infrastructures, (b) pesantren that are seen from disciplines taught, and (c) pesantren that are seen from the fields of knowledge.

This study examines the role of human resource management in improving the quality of educators. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. This research site is in MTs Nu Ma'arif Kemiri, Purworejo Regency. The data collection technique used by researchers is interview observation. In this study, the object of research is the Role of Human Resources to Achieve Workforce Quality in MTs Nu Ma'arif Kemiri. Research data collection using descriptive observation, interview or qualitative methods. This interview observation study was conducted by lecturers and students of Islamic Education Management Study Program with student WK in MTs Nu Ma'arifKemiri. This activity aims to observe the Quality of Human Resources Workers conducted by MTs Nu Ma'arif Kemiri.

It is necessary for Islamic educational institutions to have the power of changing themselves to be able to take part in determining the ideal and success of national education. Precisely, today, Islamic educational sys­tem is perceived weak and powerless in the dynamic of social changes have been occurring in the society. Even, this situation, it is frequently assumed as the burden of national education. Why can it be so? Aren't Islamic educational providers are also referring to the only one Law, that is, Law Number 20 year 2003 regarding National Educational System? What is wrong with Islamic education ? How is the quality of human resources of these providers? This article tries to answer those questions. This article also deals with analogue of Islamic Education as a subsystem of national education with family system in Islam. Fam­ily is a system. Child is a subsystem of the family. The more the child is matured and independent the better his/her family is.

Abstract This study intends to explain the portrait of educational institutions fostered by Muslimat Education Foundation (YPM) NU in Kediri Regency, and try to describe the effectiveness of Muslimat NU in Kediri Regency in improving quality. This study seeks to describe in depth the problems in accordance with the data obtained in the field and on the interpretation of researchers. Muslimat NU is one of the organizations of many organizations in the community. Muslimat NU is a community organization and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama whose task is helping to implement policies on women members. Among YPM's work programs in order to improve the quality of education in the district of Kediri are improving the quality of Al-Qur'an Kindergarten and play group, including on managerial aspects, facilities and infrastructure, administration, curriculum and Human Resources (teachers, managers and employees). Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut sesuai dengan data yang diperoleh di lapangan dan atas penafsiran peneliti. Muslimat NU merupakan salah satu organisasi dari sekian banyak organisasi yang ada di masyarakat. Muslimat NU adalah organisasi masyarakat dan merupakan badan otonom Nahdlatul Ulama yang bertugas membantu melaksankan kebijakan pada anggota perempuan. Diantara program kerja YPM dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang ada di kabupaten Kediri adalah; Peningkatan kualitas Taman Kanak-Kanak dan Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an, di antaranya pada aspek manajerial, sarana dan prasarana, administrasi, kurikulum dan Sumber Daya Manusia (guru, pengelola dan karyawan). This study is inspired by the limited educational resources in sports education, especially those that discuss the role of leadership in improving the quality of education and training of athletes in achieving the quality of human resources in the form of improving performance in sport. Through this research, it is hoped that a pedagogical resource can be used as a model, that improving the achievements of the young generation in the field of sport is not enough with the education and training of athletes, but strong leadership is needed by the Regional Head of Kediri, East Java, Indonesia, and the Indonesian National Sports Committee of Kediri City is the parent of the research. This method of research is qualitative. Data was collected using in-depth interviewing and participatory observation techniques. The results showed that the role of leadership in the education and training of athletes plays a very important role in improving the performance of sport in the area. Its form may be in the form of a leader's decision on the allocation of funds, monitoring, motivation and maximum moral support.

As an effort to improve the quality of human resources, the development of human resources was important for the goverment to focus on improving the quality of education by provision learning processes with quality education personnel. This article aimed to discussed the principle management of educational staff of the Al-Qur'an perspective. This research was literature studies, namely by examining journals, books, research reports. The result showed that : (1) the Principle of Tawheed, covering the principle of unity of direction and unity of command; (2) Principles of justice and prosperity; (3) The principle of deliberation; (4) Principles of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity; (5) Disilpin principle, integrity and loyalty; (6) The principle of division of authority and responsibility; (7) Principle of Ukhuwah. An understanding of the management principle of the Al-Qur'an perspective in the management of Islamic education institutions will be able to contribute positively, including planning of education personnel, the process of recruitment, selection and placement, and the development of education personnel. This paper is aimed at discussing the strategic role of school (madrasah) in the country. Madrasah is one of the Islamic educational institutions that have an important role for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Madrasah is a place to galvanize the mental, moral, and spiritual of the young generation to educate students to be useful beings for the religion, state, and nation. Private Madrasahs as one of the Islamic Education Institutions in Indonesia have a strategic role in the participation of the nation's intellectuals. In the next developments, private madrasahs face complex issues. In one hand, there is a demand to improve the quality in order to compete with state Islamic education institutions and public schools, but on the other hand, the attention of the government, both central and local, to Islamic educational institutions is still low, even they are still placed not as the main class, but the second class of education institutions. The Ministry of Religious Affairs, which became the central policy, began to formulate serious efforts to improve the quality of madrasahs, such as through the Ministry's Strategic Plan.

Improving the quality of education is a problem that is still experienced by many educational institutions. To improve the quality of education, institutions need a system to help achieve quality education quality. So this study aims to analyze the application of Total Quality Management in the school accreditation program as an effort to improve the quality of education. This research is a literature study by taking data from several books and literature. This data collection technique uses documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using critical analysis which is interesting from several research documents. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of education is carried out by implementing Total Quality Management. Total Quality Management is carried out by continuous improvement, determining quality standards, changing culture, changing organizations, maintaining relationships with customers and focusing on customer satisfaction. and have a commitment to change.

This study aims to describe the implementation of integrated quality strategic management of Islamic education perspective. The method used in this research is a literature study by collecting (material materials) sourced from various books, journals, and other sources. The results of the study indicate that the application of strategic management of integrated quality of Islamic education perspective is that the existence of Islamic educational institutions will be advanced and qualified if the management system implements TQM which in its operation is full of the concept of ihsan as a whole. The implementation of TQM must of course be preceded by quality planning or ihsan planning. The planning is actually an application of intentions or something to be realized and desired. Then this quality planning is broken down in benchmarking. Benchmarking is an activity to set standards, both processes and results to be achieved within a certain period. For practical purposes, the standard is reflected from the existing reality.

The purpose of this study is the first objective of this study to find out how leadirship in the education world (principals) discusses to understanding leadership styles in education, to study the leadership role of principals to improve coordination in carrying out tasks related to coordinating goods their item. The reearch method used is the collection of literacy in the form of papers books, articles and other reading. This paper complements the discussion about leadership. The existence of leaders is needed in an organization, in this case the outhor focuses on the field of education. In addition, leadership is needed in supporting the process of improving the quality of education, because the style or characteristics associated with leadership can improev and move individuals or grops within the organization they learning. The current leadirship style in school management is no longer a force of coercion but uses a commintment based on togetherness so that all parties under educational leadership can contribute to achieving the educational goals to be achieved. While the quality of educational outcomes is issued by educational institutions at certain periods of time. A leader from an educational instution will be a support for other educational institutions, community institutions where educational institutions can get quality educational instutions.
