From the outset, Italian education has been interested in the message of films and cinema’s power of persuasion. Prior to the advent of television, education viewed cinema with suspicion for the alleged damage it caused to the minds of young people. Later, it would view cinema as a means of fascist ideological propaganda. From the 1920s onwards, schools would use cinema as a teaching aid through the so-called “educational cinema”. Since 1960, schools have aimed to teach formal analysis and film content. On the threshold of the new millennium, the revolution in school autonomy obliged every educational institution to independently manage the financial resources allocated to them. This involved the arrival in schools of external experts who were entrusted with media education: they were supported by an internal tutor while the school coordinated the professionals who spe-cialized in cinema; meanwhile the subject teacher entered the Internet era with the innovation of the interactive whiteboard, assuming the role of multimedia author. Thus began the training of teachers within schools, who were registered on the national list of Visual Education Workers.

Improving the efficiency of inter-budgetary relations is also a problem facing the budget of regions and municipalities. Work is underway in this area, but with this in mind, the problem of strengthening financial independence remains urgent. For this purpose, it is expected to increase the stability of budget legislation, which will allow you to put on a solid basis the planning of your own budget revenues and increase the functional role of funds formed within the framework of inter-budget relations. The problem of the deficit of financing remains an acute problem of the regional budget, as a result of which the volume of needs is not covered by real financial resources for the budget. This is based on a methodologically erroneous approach to the formation of budget expenditures. In this regard, the relevance of the chosen topic is due to the fact that at present the most urgent issue is the lack of financial and economic independence of regions and the imbalance of local budgets. The purpose of the research is to suggest ways to improve the organization of inter-budgetary relations. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of the organization of inter-budgetary relations of regional budgets.

The article touches interrelated complex of problems characterizing visual communication in the digital space of modern society. The idea of forming of visual culture with a special mental constitution is being actualized. It is revealed that visual communication is a key phenomenon of the social and cultural reality of the Internet. The collision of verbal and visual that is exposed to changes in perception between the subject and the other is considered taking into account its specific qualities. If you look at the representational turn as a phenomenon of cultural consciousness opening in the space of the Internet, its quixotic duality could be noticed. The author believes that the conceptual discourse of visualization reveals new meanings and ideas, both in the thinking of some individual (as a part) and in the space of a multicode universe as a whole. It is concluded that an increasing role of visual communication in the perception of the world at all levels leads to a new type of personality.

The aim of the article is to show the sociological elements in the education process that are present in Korczak’s pedagogy, both in its scientific form as well as in his fiction aimed directly at children. Therefore, society with its educational institutions (family, school, boarding school) is recognized in this pedagogy as an important sphere of symbolic references and educational influences. The key role of society (as the most important educational institution) in shaping pupils is present in commonly known works on the sociology of upbringing (including Florian Znaniecki or Józef Chałasiński), while sociological threads in Korczak’s pedagogy have not been a popular topic of separate analysis so far, apart from one monograph devoted to the subject. Therefore, this topic requires in-depth analyses and afterthought. Janusz Korczak emphasizes the role of society in a child’s life, preparing them primarily for participation in social relations, through diverse forms of group life at school, whose most important achievement is the institution of student self-government. It is thus a bridge between student-oriented education and the traditional pedagogical message, involving the transmission of the requirements of specific social roles.

Innovative technologies and the emergence of virtual communities create new types of transactions and the accounting methods that go beyond the current state of knowledge in economics and existing legal solutions. These virtual communities create and distribute their own medium of payment for the exchange of goods and services, thereby providing a means of payment in which emissions or circulation central monetary authorities are not involved. The reasons behind  the emergence of cryptocurrencies are not only the shortcomings of the traditional currency system which was unable to face numerous crises, but also the development of the Internet for which cryptocurrencies can prove to be a better suited form of money. Unfortunately, they stir much legal controversy with the effect that their users are exposed to significant legal and economic risk. Therefore, the subject of research presented in the article is to analyze the economic substance of Bitcoin. The main objective in this area is to assess the role of Bitcoin in terms of capacity to serve as money.

AbstractThis paper offers a formal analysis of three constructions in English: locative inversion, central deictic inversion and directional inversion. These constructions constitute thetic statements with a locative intentional base which sets a scene that (re)introduces an entity in the discourse; syntactically, they display a non-canonical word order and have a number of unusual grammatical properties which make them particularly interesting to show how syntax connects, and adapts, to discourse. I propose that they all obtain from a language particular mechanism which involves a functional category LocP that adjusts the computational requirement to have a preverbal subject to the intentional need to have the subject post-verbally. As for the differences among them, they are approached in terms of the features that head LocP and the lexical properties of the verbs that head each of the structures. Ultimately, the paper also serves to discuss the role of certain informational features (the so-called core intentional features) in the syntactic derivation.

The goal of many mathematicians since the dawn of time has been to apply mathematics to practical applications and to also derive the mathematics behind many everyday things. Although we seldom have such pursuits, many everyday things have been affected by the principles of math. And things like the internet, run on fundamental mathematics principles, and hardly any credit is given to the subject. This paper aims to uncover contributions of everyday Math in the working of the internet. From encryption and decryption all the way to how search engines to index various web pages online, if one looks hard enough, concepts related to mathematics are bound to pop up. This paper also sheds light on various concepts taught in higher education that are often forgotten and only treated as something solely scholastic, but in reality, has a lot of applications in real life.

The present scene, defined as it is by the undisputed prominence of imagery and the power of social media acting as tools for political activism and public interaction, is strongly influenced by Instagram. This is a platform with a predominantly graphic format where imagery, as a means of visual communication, acquires a special significance. In the 21st century, the term cyberfeminism has become synonymous with that part of feminist philosophy focusing on new technologies, the internet and the digital world generally. The present study analyses images created by Spanish professional female illustrators for International Women’s Day (March 8th), which were published on Instagram in 2019 and 2020. It will focus primarily on three kinds of imagery: plastic, linguistic and iconic. By mainly analyzing content and a sample of 124 artworks developed during this period, this study goes on to highlight the significance of the color violet. This is the plastic resource that stands out most from a very stylistically heterogeneous set of graphics. Complementing imagery is the important role of linguistics with frequent repetition of iconic references and a preference for representation of women. This last aspect is mainly with reference to their strength and security, in addition to an inclination for concepts linked to the need for vindication, sorority and empowerment.

This concluding chapter summarizes key themes and presents some final thoughts. Examining literature and social media, activism and politics, the book identified a techno-archaic portal, breaching the narrative of modernity. The role of the Internet as “public sphere”—a utopian framework that promised an open and nonhierarchal encounter with the other—has given way to pre-Islamic raids and sophisticated hacks, trolling and attack that come from the present and a fantasized past, and jinn-like seers and narrators of akhbār. Both the Internet and the subject of modernity are leaking, unable to contain their enlightenment and liberal narratives, or to control the gushing from a dimension that lies beyond. This leaking is not a techno-salvation, but creates the possibility of change that also involves dangerous processes and openings that risk engulfing authors and activists.
