Work and social life with family and friends are conceptualized as factors of personal happiness. Thus, work and social life have to share time resources. Time limitation can put strains on the relationship in work-related life and social life. Intense commitment at work has the potential to interfere one’s social life. Therefore, this study aimed to figure out the effects of the social factors on staff happiness.The research design for this study was a quantitative method using survey and focus group discussion (FGD). The simple random sampling technique was executed as a methodology for this research paper. This study involved 535 respondents from the population of academic and administrative staff in UTHM. All the data is analyzed descriptively using SPSS version 2.0. The result has shown that the elements of a relationship, either with friends or family are found to be the main contributors in determining staff happiness

The study examined the relationship between organizational culture and employee efficiency among commercial banks in Nigeria. Primary data was gathered by means of a self administered questionnaire. to select 223 respondents using simple random sampling technique, and out of which 218 were retrieved. the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSSS) was adopted to analyze collected data. The findings revealed that organizational processes and structures were significant predictors of employee efficiency. As a result, the staff’s familiarity with the organizational processes and structure, their efficiency levels. Arising from these findings, it is recommended that all bank employees should become familiar with and committed to the corporate culture. Appropriate incentives should be offered to employees. These should not be restricted to monetary rewards, but should include recognition of their performance and present opportunities to achieve individual goals and aspirations. Finally, both managers and employees should receive training to enhance efficiency.

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior in  staff. Subjects in this study amounted to 170 administrative employees in Palembang  Hospital. The sample technique used in this study is simple random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the scale of self-control and Cyberloafing behavior. The analysis technique used is simple regression using SPSS version 20.0 The results of the analysis show that the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.515 with the score obtained is (R-square) = 0.265 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05 and p <0.01) which means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. These results indicate that there is a very significant relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior in administrative staff in Palembang  Hospital. The variable contribution of self-control with cyberloafing behavior variable is 26.5%.

<p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> It is a known fact that different occupations are occupied with different forms of hazard. Regardless to the nature, size and the enterprise scope of operation, the occupations available in the enterprise are no doubt associated with one form of hazard or the other. The purpose of this study was to critically assess the occupational hazard in hospitality industry in Kano state.</p><p class="abstract"><strong>Methods:</strong> A total of 384 people from the selected hotels were recruited to form the sample of the study using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection in the study was self-administered semi-structured questionnaire. Data collected were analysed using statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) version 20.  </p><p class="abstract"><strong>Results:</strong> In this study 50.0% of the respondents were ≤25 years and 54.9% of the respondents were male. More than three-fifths (64.0%) were civil servants, and most of the respondents (63.0%) were single. About 53.4% of them had tertiary level of education and above. Slightly below four-fifths (79.9%) of the respondents knew about physical work hazard and 75.0% of them were aware that physical work hazard can cause ailment and subsequently ill-health to employees and customers. Close to seven-tenths (69.8%) of the respondents understood what is meant by biological factors when issue relating to work hazard is being addressed. Little above half (53.4%) of the respondents knew what chemical hazard is all about and 75.8% of the respondents mentioned that if workable measures are implemented, this will reduce the occurrence of work related hazards.</p><strong>Conclusions:</strong> There is lack of proper knowledge regarding the physical, chemical and biological hazards among the study participants. Government must provide suitable and enforcement laws that will enforce laws towards sustainable organizational safety.

Workaholism, in recent years, has become a regular behaviour pattern among professionals. While self-negligence is assumed as a hallmark of workaholism, empirical data in this case stands to be both narrow and paradoxical. Modern developments like high-speed data connections add more to this belief, as this makes it possible for employees who would like to work at any place and at any given point of time to work. Workaholism is found to affect several important domains of life. With regards to work domain, workaholics commonly seem to have poor associations with their peer/colleagues, most likely on the grounds that they often feel the need to control them and experience issues with delegating work. Given that the amount of time they invested in their work leaves little energy for them for other activities, also the social life outside work gets hampered. This chapter explores the relationship between workaholism, perceived work-related stress, different job conditions, and intensifying anxiety among IT professionals in Delhi/NCR.

<p><strong><em>Background: </em></strong>Economy is the main factor related to the implementation of PHBS in Tesa <em>village, Malaka Regency. </em></p><p><strong><em>Objectives</em></strong><em> : This study aims to determine the relationship between Social economic Status and Clean and Healthy Family Behavior (PHBS) in Tesa Village, Malaka Regency in 2020. </em><strong><em>Methods: </em></strong><em>The research design is a correlational analytic study. </em><em>The design of the study is correlational analytic study. The population is all family in Tesa village N = 124 respondents with a simple random sampling technique obtained 94 samples of respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet </em><em>about </em><em>social economic status and PHBS.The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet </em><em>about </em><em>social economic status and PHBS. The </em><em>r</em><em>esults were analyzed by using the proportional cluster. </em></p><p><strong><em>Results: </em></strong><em>The result</em><em>s</em><em> of the research </em><em>show </em><em>that almost all (76.6%) </em><em>had</em><em> good Clean</em><em> and</em><em> Healthy </em><em>Behavior </em><em>(PHBS) and nearly half 47 (50.0%) </em><em>had </em><em>the </em><em>P</em><em>rosperous Social-Economic II</em><em> status. T</em><em>he results from cross tabulation shows the relationship between Social Economic status </em><em>and </em><em>PHBS</em><em> which is</em><em> found that </em><em>there were </em><em>33 respondents (34.0%) with </em><em>moderate </em><em>PHBS. The result of statistical test using Spearman rank test </em><em>shows </em><em>p</em><em>=</em><em>0.000 </em><em>is </em><em>smaller than the value of α=0.05 (0.000&lt; 0.05) so that H0 is rejected and H1 </em><em>is </em><em>accepted. This means that there is a relationship between the social economic status of the family and PHBS in 2020.</em></p><p><strong><em>Conclusions:</em></strong><em> It can be concluded that the higher the social economic status of the family between education, work and overall economic conditions, the better the behavior of a clean and healthy life is expected and the family will protect it more by seeking health-related information</em> </p>

The aim of this research is; 1) investigating the level of online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 2) analyzing the influence of differences in gender, years of study, major in determining online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 3) to analyze the relationship between online learning satisfaction and student academic achievement during COVID 19. The population was 656 students at STKIP Singkawang, and then a sample of 357 students (87 males and 270 females) was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was adapted from Aman's Satisfaction instrument, which was then used to collect research data. Data analysis using SPSS with descriptive statistical techniques, MANOVA, and correlation. The results showed that online learning satisfaction was at a high level, meaning that students were satisfied with the online learning that had been implemented. The major differences have a significant effect on determining online learning satisfaction. Intercorrelation shows that there is a significant relationship on each indicator of online learning satisfaction with academic achievement, meaning that the higher the satisfaction felt by students in online learning, the student's academic achievement will increase.

Head of a village election with e-voting system is a new thing for community The success level of e-voting system can be reached by fulfil several principles in order to the implementation going effective and the result of the election can be accepted by all. The objectives of this research is to analyze the relation between the success level of e-voting system with social capital of the community. This research is carried out with the quantitative approach and supported by qualitative data. This research takes 60 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the success level of e-voting has a correlation with the level of social capital of the community. Based on the field study, the social capital of the community is classified as high. The high social capital makes the implementation of e-voting successful and the success level is also high, because in the election ten years ago occurred a conflict. The community considers e-voting easier and more practical, cost effective and time-saving, and the results of e-voting are also reliable. A practical and fast of e-voting system can be a solution especially for “rural-urban” community who are busy or work outside the village.Keywords: E-voting, the success level of the system, social capital Pemilihan kepala desa dengan sistem e-voting merupakan hal yang baru bagi masyarakat. Keberhasilan penerapan sistem e-voting dilihat dari terpenuhinya beberapa prinsip agar penerapannya berlangsung efektif dan hasilnya dapat diterima oleh seluruh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan tingkat keberhasilan sistem e-voting dalam pemilihan kepala desa dengan tingkat modal sosial masyarakat. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang didukung oleh analisis data kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil enam puluh responden dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberhasilan e-voting memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat modal sosial masyarakat. Berdasarkan kajian di lapang, modal sosial masyarakat tergolong tinggi. Tingginya modal sosial tersebut membuat pelaksanaan e-voting berhasil dan tingkat keberhasilannya juga tergolong tinggi karena pada pemilihan sepuluh tahun silam sempat terjadi konflik. Masyarakat menganggap sistem evoting lebih mudah dan praktis, hemat dalam segi biaya dan waktu, serta hasil dari pemilihan juga dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Sistem e-voting yang praktis dan cepat dapat menjadi solusi khususnya bagi masyarakat daerah “desa-kota” yang memiliki kesibukan atau pekerjaan di luar desa.Kata Kunci: E-voting, keberhasilan sistem, modal sosial.

The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the relationship between the free variable that organizational climate (X1) and competence (X2) with the dependent variable is employee performance (Y), either partially or simultaneously, This study used survey research methods with the correlational approach and predictive, which aims for the relationship and influence between independent and dependent variables. The sampling technique can be done randomly (simple random sampling) of 852 employees, which is considered to resprentatif is 89 people. And to solve problems, to analyze and examine the relationship and influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable used models kausalistik through regression analysis with SPSS 14.0

AbstractAlthough Max Weber does not specifically analyze the topic of esteem, his investigation of the Protestant ethic offers interesting insights into it. The change in mentality it engendered essentially contributed to enhancing the meaning and importance of esteem in modern society. In his analysis, Weber ascertains that esteem was fundamental to being accepted and integrated into the social life of congregations. Nevertheless, he also highlights that esteem was supported by a form of self-esteem which was not simply derived from a good social reputation, but also achieved through a deep and continual self-analysis as well as a strict discipline in the ethical conduct of life. The present analysis reconstructs the different aspects of the relationship between social and self-esteem and analyzes the consequences of that relationship by focusing on the exemplary case of the politician’s personality and ethic.
