This research is entitled "The Influence of Teaching Skills and Teacher Discipline in the Teaching and Learning Process on Student Achievement in Social Studies Subjects for the 2020/2021 Academic Year". The aim of this research is to find out how much influence teaching skills and teacher discipline in the teaching and learning process (PBM) have on student achievement in social studies subjects. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with the type of survey research. The population used as subjects in this study were all Social Studies students of class VIII consisting of three classes at MTs NW Selebung for the academic year 2020/2021. In this study, the technique used in sampling is a random sampling technique with the class as the sample unit so that all students are studied randomly by providing equal opportunities to all members of the population, the minimum sample size is 50.98 so 51 students will be taken  from class VIII MTs NW Selebung. The main data collection technique in this research is to use a closed questionnaire given to all students who are the research sample, there are two types of questionnaires used in collecting data in this study, namely a questionnaire about teaching skills and teacher discipline which will be filled out by students. For data analysis techniques used Pearson product moment analysis techniques, t-test (t-test) and multiple correlation. Based on the results of the calculations obtained coefficient t count of 5.75 with a contribution of 31.58% for teacher teaching skills, t count of 4 .42 with a contribution of 23.43% for teacher discipline, t count of 9.33 with a contribution of 27.98% for teaching skills and teacher discipline, with a significance level of 5%, dk = 51 obtained t table of 4.08 means that t count t table, thus there is a significant influence on teacher teaching skills, teacher discipline as well as teaching skills and teacher discipline together in the teaching and learning process in social studies subjects at MTs NW Selebung for the academic year 2020/2021.

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase learning motivation and mastery of E-learning by using the Zenius application in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Utara in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 32 people. This research was conducted from the beginning of April 2020 until the end of April 2020. This research is a classroom action research conducted online using several questionnaires, the link of which is sent to students through their WhatsApp group. This online research was conducted because it did not allow the writer to conduct research directly to school because at this time the teaching and learning process was carried out online. This online learning is due to the spread of the COVID-19 corona virus in almost all countries including Indonesia.

Background: One of the causes of students' lack of understanding of a concept is teacher-centered learning and a lack of motivation from students in following the learning process. Then we need an innovative learning model that can help students in the learning process. To achieve learning objectives, teachers are required to be able to choose suitable learning models to be applied at an educational level. Method: This research was conducted from January 14 to February 14, 2020 using descriptive methods, student learning outcomes are seen through the final value that is seen based on cognitive aspects (LKS), affective and psychomotor and pre-post test scores. Measurement data were analyzed using the t test formula. Results: Based on the t test, obtained the results of tcount 1.573 and ttable 2.010, tcount <ttable, the hypothesis (H1) was rejected and (H0) was accepted. Conclusion: There is no difference in the learning outcomes of students taught using the Problem Based Learning model and Group Investigation on the material of the human digestive system in class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Ambon, but there is an increase in learning outcomes after teaching and learning using the Problem Based Learning and Group Investigation models so the results of the t-test show that tcount <ttable (1.573 <2.010).

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model on ​​Student Learning Outcomes on Conventional Gasoline Fuel Systems Lesson in TBSM XI Class of SMKN 1 Palangka Raya, Academic Year 2017/2018. The method used in this study is pre-experimental design, by using one-group pretest-posttest design. In this design there is a pretest before treatment. Thus the results of the treatment can be known more accurately, because it can compare with the situation before being treated. The results of this study indicate that the calculation using the t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05 obtained a t-count value of 16.19 while the t_table value was 1.992. Because t_count > t_table, this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there are influences of student learning outcomes taught using the CTL model on conventional gasoline fuel system lesson. The type of learning model is quite effective in the process of teaching in schools especially automotive lesson.

The objectives of the study are1) To know the teaching on reading comprehension at the eight grade of SMP PGRI 01 Semarang in academic year 2016/2017, 2) To know the problems faced by the teacher in teaching learning process of reading comprehension, and 3) To know the solutions of the problem faced in teaching learning process. This research uses qualitative method. The subject of this research was three teachers of class VIII A, VIII F, and VIII G. The instruments used in this research were observation sheet and interview, so the data use was collected through observation and interview. The result of the research showed that 1) the first teacher was first participant implementing reading stage in teaching and learning process. In first participant teaching, the researcher found the problem, it was the difficulty in implementing teaching reading. The solution first participant was make strategy to make student fun. 2) the second teacher was second participant. There was only one interaction, that was the teacher explained the materials then the students kept silent, or the students read something then the teachers listened to them. 3) the third teacher was third participant. The problem it was boredom, and the solution was making question and answer for them. Teachers concluded that reading comprehension is very effective but it can not to be the key in teaching and learning process. From the data which is obtained from documentation and observation inteaching English, the objectives of English teaching can be viewed from kinds of strategy and tecnique in teaching and learning process. Suggestion are 1) for teachers, it is better for them to use Team Games Tournament to teach the students in reading comprehension, 2) for students have to study harder and try to read English more and more, and 3) for the reader to be able to get more information and experiences in the purpose of developing and improving their knowledge, especially in reading comprehensio

The study aimed at finding out the improvement of students’ writing skill in class III, Semester II SDN 1 Wanasaba, academic year 2015/2016. The subject of the study is Students of class III with a total of 23 students comprised of 10 males and 13 females. The study applies two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely are planning, application, observing/evaluating, and reflecting. The method used is observation, questioner/test, and documentation. Observation conducted to observe the execution process being conducted. Questioner/test is used to find out the result of learning and achievement. Documentation is for supplement material for teaching and learning process. The result of the study shows that the achievement of Students in class III, Semester II SDN 1 wanasaba, academic year 2015/2016 in learning bahasa Indonesia on writing a simple essay based on the serial pictures using correct words and sentences choice considering spelling, capital letters, and punctuation  before the application phase is very low. It is showed by the achievement of 26%. After the application of using serial pictures, the student’ achievement are better. It is showed in cycle 1, the result increases to 70% with good category. In cycle 2, the result increases to 100% with very good category.

The purpose of this research is to consider the benefit of applying GeoGebra interactive media to improve student achievement in learning derivatives. This study was experimental research using counterbalance design. The population of the study was four classes of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura academic year 2018/2019 consisting of 122 students. Purposive sampling was applied in this study to get two experimental classes with the number of students were 22 and 26 respectively. In both experimental groups received the same treatment which were learning using GeoGebra interactive media and learning without using GeoGebra interactive media which applied orderly. This process was implemented four times at both classes interchangeably. The data of the study was collected from participant’s pretest and posttest at every learning treatment. Data was analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed test with the significance level (two-tailed) of 0.05. The result of the study shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of the two types of learning. The learning process which was designed using GeoGebra interactive media obtained the superior learning outcomes.

AbstractThe suitability of character education with subjects is closely related to the learning process. Achievements are always associated with the execution of an activity or activity. Learning achievement is inseparable from learning activities, because learning is a process, while learning achievement is the output of the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know the big picture contribution of character education and student's learning motivation to student achievement on IPS subject in SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan. Method of analysis descriptive analysis with quantitative approach assisted statistical calculation. The population of this study is all students of SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan academic year 2017/2018. The sample is 71 students. Instruments using questionnaires were analyzed by multiple regression. The results showed that is a contribution of character education and learning motivation to student achievement on social studies subjects in SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan jointly contributed.Keywords: Character Education, Motivation, Learning AchievementAbstrakKecocokan pendidikan karakter dengan subjek erat kaitannya dengan proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi gambaran besar pendidikan karakter dan motivasi belajar peserta didik terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan. Metode analisis deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif membantu perhitungan statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampelnya adalah 71 peserta didik. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner dianalisis dengan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi pendidikan karakter dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan secara bersama-sama turut berkontribusi.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar

This study aims to determine whether the Pair Checks Cooperative model can improve the learning outcomes of students of class VIII in SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Java. The research model used is quantitative research. The population is all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Java by taking a purposive sampling technique, two classes were selected as the sample of this study, namely VIII IPS 1 class as an experimental class of 32 people and VIII IPS 2 as a control class of 32 people too. The instrument used was a social studies achievement test in the form of multiple choice. The data analysis technique used in this study is the t-test. In testing the hypotheses used the statistical test t test results obtained calculations tcount> t table at the level = 0.05 with dk 62 = = 32 + 32-2 = 62 ie (5.50> 1.99) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted . In other words after the experiment was carried out there was a significant influence between the use of the Effect of Cooperative Learning Model Type Pair Checks Assisted by Problem Cards to Integrated Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Java in Academic Year 2019/2020. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model Kooperatif Tipe Pair Checks dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ekonomi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Jawa. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Jawa dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposif sampling, dipilih dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian ini, yaitu kelas VIII IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 orang dan VIII IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 32 orang juga. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar IPS berbentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-t. Dalam pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji statistik uji t hasil perhitungan tersebut diperoleh thitung > ttabel pada taraf  = 0,05 dengan dk 62 =     = 32+32-2=62 yakni ( 5,50>1,99) dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan kata lain setelah eksperimen dilakukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunakan Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Pair Checks Berbantuan Kartu Soal Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Terpadu Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Jawa Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. <p>This study aims to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning of jigsaw method in social studies on student achievement of class III SD Pakualaman Bantul and SD Gandok Islamiyah in 2014/2015 school year. This research design uses quantitative research methods. Collecting data in this study uses the test method. The used test methods in this research are the pre-test and post-test given to the experimental group and the control group. While the data analysis is a statistical method t test (t-test).</p><p> The results of data analysis t test (t-test) obtained value = 3.34. At the significance level (α) = 0.05 and with db = 38 obtained value = 1.6859. So that is 3.34 ≥ 1.6859, therefore Ho is rejected H<sub>1</sub> accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect on the use of cooperative learning of jigsaw model in social studies on student achievement of class III SD Islamiyah Pakualaman at school year 2014/2015.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Keyword</strong>s: Cooperative Model Jigsaw Type, Learning Achievement</p>

The research aims to find out: (1) the activeness of student learning during the learning process of Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Gambuh using the CIRC method; (2) student learning outcomes in learning the text of Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Gambuh using CIRC method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out on students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Ambal Kebumen in 2019/2020 Academic Year. Data collection techniques using: observation, interviews, and assignments. The data validity technique uses source triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques using interactive and qualitative descriptive model analysis. The results of the study concluded: (1) CIRC learning methods are able to increase student learning activities during the teaching-learning process takes place. This is because students are divided into groups and given assignments in groups. This learning method encourages students to learn to work together that are constructive, respect each other, and avoid egoism that tends to show themselves. In cycle I students who showed high activity were 78% and in cycle II it reached 100%; (2) The CIRC learning method makes it easy for students to understand the contents of the Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Gambuh.
