This research is based on the frequent learning of mathematics which is generally centered on the teacher, which is often considered able to make the students can understand the material given. While, students should participate actively in learning, to be able to build ideas through the ability and thought in accordance with their understanding. This research is quantitative descriptive. The techniques used in this study are observation, questionnaires, and tests. Learning model in this research is using mind mapping method, because mind mapping method can help students to not always record writing as a whole. Students can present words, ideas,  made on their own thoughts, understanding and creativity, and can understand the material for a longer period of time. Based on the background, the purpose of this research is to describe the student activity during the application of mind mapping method, to describe the student's response and the learning result after applying the mind mapping method on persamaan garis lurus. The conclusion that can be drawn from the application of mind mapping method on the equation of persamaan garis lurus of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 48 Surabaya is that with mind mapping method can make the students more active role in the class. And for learning outcomes also experience mastery at equation of equation.. Keywords: mind mapping, activity, response, learning outcomes

This is a True Experiment study by using Posttest Only Control Group Design with the title "The Influence of Mind Mapping Method Implementation on the learning outcomes of Social Science Class in State Junior High School 6 Purwokerto Grade VIII".  This study aims to determine the effect of applying the mind mapping method to the learning outcomes of Social Science Class. Population used in this research is grade VIII in SMP N 6 Purwokerto. The sample taken in this research is class VIII D as experimental class with 35 students and class VIII E as control class with 34 students. Besides, the sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. This research shows that there is influence of the application of mind mapping method in the learning outcomes of Social Science Class in grade VII in State Junior High School 6 Purwokerto. The student's achiement using the mind mapping method is higher than using the lecturing method. The results of data analysis using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 16 for windows software shows the average value obtained by the experimental class is 80,2 while the control class is 72,4. Mind mapping learning is proved effective to improve student learning achievement. The influence of mind mapping learning method to learning result is marked by t count > t table that is 3,958 > 1,980 and mean of experiment class value is higher than control class that is 80,2 > 72,4. The implication of this research is to improve the learning result of social science class, the teacher is expected to apply the mind mapping method in IPS learning to improve the learning outcomes and hopefully can provide enough tools and materials for making mind map.

he purpose of this study was to improve science learning outcomes on the structure and function of plant networks in class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar in the 2017/2018 academic year. The learning model used in this study is the Mind Mapping Learning Model. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII MTsN 2 Aceh Besar with a total of 33 students consisting of 13 male students and 20 fe-male students. This research was conducted in the 2017/2018 Academic Year within a period of 3 months, namely from August 2017 to October 2017 in Odd Semester. The research methodology is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research procedure con-sisted of pre-research, planning cycle one, implementing action cycle one, observing cycle one, reflect-ing cycle one, planning cycle two, implementing action cycle two, observing cycle two and reflecting cycle two. The data collection technique is to collect test scores that are carried out at the end of each lesson in each cycle using a question instrument (written test). Observation data was carried out by look-ing at the activeness of teachers and students during the learning process. The learning outcome data were analyzed by means of percentage statistics, while the observation data were analyzed by means of a Likert scale. The results showed that there was an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes from 39.39% in the pre-cycle increased to 60.60% in Cycle I and increased to 87.87% in Cy-cle II. Observation of teacher activity during PBM has increased from a total score of 88 good categories in Cycle I, increasing to a total score of 93 good categories in Cycle II. The application of the Mind Mapping learning model can improve science learning outcomes on the structure and function of plant tissue for class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar for the 2017/2018 academic year.

This Classroom Action Research was conducted at MI Muhammadiyah 02 Mariyai with the aim of improving student moral learning outcomes through the mind mapping method. The research subjects were grade IV students, amounting to 26 people. Researchers used two cycles, each of which consisted of three meetings. Data retrieval is done using learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. The collected data were analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is calculated using data analysis on Microsoft Excel. The results obtained showed an increase in moral learning outcomes ie from the average score of the initial ability of students 63.85 in the low category, then in the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes increased to 76.35 in the medium category, and in the cycle, II increased to 86.15 which is in the high category. Increasing the score of student learning outcomes is also directly proportional to mastery learning. In the initial ability score, the number of students who finished learning was 8 people (30.77%), then in the first cycle increased to 16 people (61.54%), and in the second cycle increased again to 24 people (92.31%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that an increase in the learning outcomes of the Moral Law in Class IV MI Muhammadiyah 02 Mariyai Students after using the mind mapping method.

This study seeks to find information related to the methods used in an effort to improve student achievement outcomes in online learning for civic education subjects at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah or Elementary Schools. In finding the information needed, researchers use a type of literature study research. Researchers reviewed several previous studies based on theories that were relevant to the problems found. The information obtained is then analyzed by referring to Miles and Hubberman where the information obtained is collected, processed and summarized. From the results of the analysis, it was found that using the mind mapping method and the STAD type cooperative model could improve learning outcomes as well as student creativity in Citizenship Education learning. Mind mapping can make it easier for students to understand a lesson that is recorded creatively, effectively, and efficiently in mapping their thoughts. This method really helps the learning process for Civics subjects, especially the Civics learning model is closely related to increasing children's creativity. Meanwhile, STAD should be grouped not randomly but according to the zoning of their respective houses. So that the presence or absence of a pandemic does not really affect learning with these methods.   [Penelitian ini berupaya mencari informasi terkait metode yang digunakan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil prestasi siswa pembelajaran daring untuk mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah atau Sekolah Dasar. Dalam mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan. Peneliti mengkaji dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu berdasarkan teori yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang ditemukan. Informasi didapat tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan mengacu kepada Miles dan Hubberman dimana infomasi yang didapat dikumpulkan, diolah, dan disimpulkan. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa dengan menggunakan metode mind mapping dan model kooperatif tipe STAD bisa meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran sekaligus kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Dengan mind mapping dapat mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik dalam suatu pembelajaran yang dicatat dengan kreatif, efektif, dan efisien dalam memetakan pikiran-pikirannya. Metode ini sangat membantu proses pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran PKn, apalagi model pembelajaran PKn erat kaitannya dengan peningkatan kreativitas anak. Sementara untuk STAD hendaknya dikelompokan tidak secara acak namun sesuai zonasi rumahnya masing-masing. Sehingga ada ataupun tidak adanya pandemi, tidak terlalu mempengaruhi pembelajaran yang dilakukan]

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes in social studies learning between mind mapping learning methods classes and group discussion method classes. This research uses a quasi-experiment. The results showed that student learning outcomes in social studies learning were taught using the higher mind mapping method while those taught using the group discussion method were lower. T-test results obtained ttest = 3.7026 and ttable = 1.992. From the t-test, it can be concluded that ttest> ttable, meaning that there are differences in social studies learning outcomes between the mind mapping method class and the group discussion method class. Based on the results of the t-test, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method is more influential than the group discussion method on social studies learning outcomes.

<p><em>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the mind mapping method to increase student learning interest in integrated Social Sciences subjects class VIII A MTsN Jambewangi Selopuro Blitar. The research method uses a qualitative approach, while the type of research used is qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data, namely the influence of student learning interest during the learning process takes place using the mind mapping method. The data sources in this study were class VIII</em><em> A MTsN</em><em> Jambewangi which numbered 36 students. The results showed that the mind mapping method can increase the learning interest of class VIII</em><em> A</em><em> students of MTsN Jambewangi, proven to increase the first cycle by 72.3 while in the second cycle to 82.9 while in the third cycle it became 94.7. While the influence of interest in learning can be seen that the average value in the first cycle is 2.1, in the second cycle becomes 2.9 while in the third cycle is 3.8.</em></p><p class="CPKeyword">Keywords: mind mapping method; ability to increase learning interest</p>

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping learning method on student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Siberut Tengah on hydrocarbon material. The research sample amounted to 28 students, who were selected using the Purpose Sampling technique. The instrument used was a test instrument for chemistry learning outcomes, in the form of pretest and posttest which were analyzed using SPSS 22 for window to determine the results of the T-test on the Independent Sample Test. Normality test using Shapiro-Wilk test on sig. > 0.05 that is equal to 0.034. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample Test which shows that the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted. Thus, it is concluded that there is an effect of using Mind Mapping to improve student chemistry learning outcomes.

The background of this research that the fifth grade students of SDN Senden Jombang have difficulty in mastering the concept of a material social studies. The cause of these problems is the teacher who is still using the traditional teacher-centered, material presented only in the handbook without the latest learning resources, and is also thought to have only limited use of the media as a medium whiteboard notes. Therefore, researchers endeavor to solve these problems by applying the method of mind mapping. By purposing to find out how the enhancement in students' mastery of concepts, teacher activity, student activities, and student responses after applying mind mapping method. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), which uses data analysis techniques of qualitative and quantitative descriptive. Subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Senden Jombang Peterongan totaling 33 students. Having conducted through three cycles and each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. Data collection techniques being used is observation, tests, and questionnaires. The instrument used is a sheet of teacher activity, student activity sheets, sheet of test and sheet of questionnaire. Teacher activity has increased during the three cycles, the first cycle is 67.86%, the second cycle increased by 85.71% and the third cycle becomes 89.29%. The enhancement also gets occurred in the student activity of cycle one to cycle three, namely 69.64%, 79.69%, 87.5%. The results of students' mastery of concepts learned in the first cycle increased only to 12.1% in the second cycle reaches 66.67%, and increased in the third cycle to 84.85%. The response being provided by students of the first cycle is 71.51%, the second cycle is 79.09% and the third cycle to 83.3%. It can be concluded that the application of the mind mapping method can improve students' mastery of the concept of class V material appearance SDN Senden Jombang.

This study aims to: (1) find out the activity of the teacher and eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Widasari Indramayu in learning writing of news item text by using mind mapping, (2) know the ability profile of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Widasari in writing news item text before and after using mind mapping, (3) know  the effectivity of mind mapping method toward writing news item text ability of the eighth grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Widasari. To achieve that goal, quasi-experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest is conducted. The results showed: (1) the teacher activity in learning writing of news item text by using mind mapping is in good categories with the score 82.5. Student activity in learning writing of news item text by using mind mapping is in good categories with the percentage of 53.33, (2) the students ability profile in learning writing of news item text before using the mind mapping is in sufficient category with an average score 65.2. While the profile of students ability in learning writing of news item text after using mind mapping is in good categories with an average score 83.53, (3) mind mapping method effective the ability to write news item text because tcount (3.233) is higher than ttable (1.701). This study aims to determine the increase of students learning outcomes through learning activities using Mind Mapping method in class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in July to September 2019. The subject was students of class XII MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, totaling 36 students consist of 17 men and 19 women. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles for six meetings. Each meeting using the Mind Mapping method with consists of identifying the topic, planning the tasks to be studied, carrying out investigations, preparing final reports, presenting final reports, conclusions and evaluations. The research found that the usage of mind mapping method can improve the learning outcomes of class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The increasing was seen in the results of the first cycle with an average value of 84.13 and 92.66 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who pass the passing grade increase from 77.77% to 100%. Classroom action research with optimal usage of mind mapping method can improve learning outcomes in economic subject.
