Masons are regularly exposed to air pollution in the workplace The pollution exposure received by them is a risk factor for respiratory problems. Most of the masons had insufficient knowledge that is very important for the management of a person's illness. The purpose of this study was to determine relationship of knowledge on respiratory disorders with lung function in masons in east surabaya. This research was an observational study with a cross-sectional design with a purposive method. The research was conducted from April to July 2019 in the East Surabaya area. The variables that will be observed in this study are the level of knowledge of risk factors, symptoms, and treatment and therapy regarding respiratory disorders. In this study, there were 158 respondents consisting of 79 groups with impaired lung function and 79 groups without lung function disorders. Most of the level of knowledge of both groups was good in risk factors and treatment of respiratory disease, but instead on the symptoms regarding respiratory disease. The research showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge about risk factors for respiratory disease (p(0.223)<0.05) and lung function, but there was no difference in knowledge about symptoms (p(0.745)<0.05) and treatment (p(0.741)<0.05) respiratory disease with pulmonary function. Therefore, it was necessary to plan further educational programs in increasing masons' knowledge of respiratory symptoms so that they could catch respiratory diseases earlier.

Abstract Objective: To systematically audit the extent of unhealthy sponsorship within junior community sporting clubs and ascertain whether differences exist across geographical areas and sports types. Design: Club sponsorship data were assessed to determine the extent of unhealthy food/beverage, alcohol, and gambling sponsorship using a cross-sectional design. Differences across geographical areas were assessed using logistic regressions. Setting: A stratified random sampling procedure was used to select 30 communities across the state of Victoria, Australia. Within each community, local clubs across the top eight participating junior sports were selected for audit. Participants: Sponsorship data was collected from 191 club websites and Facebook pages in September-November 2019. Results: Unhealthy sponsorships represented 8.9% of all identified sponsorship arrangements. A quarter of all clubs accepted alcohol (25.6%) and unhealthy food sponsors (25.9%), and one-fifth of all clubs accepted high-risk food (unhealthy brands with large market share) (18.1%) and gambling sponsors (20.4%). Acceptance of unhealthy sponsorship differed across sport types with football, netball, cricket, and soccer clubs having the greatest number. Compared to metro areas, a significantly greater proportion of sporting clubs in regional areas were affiliated with unhealthy food (32.7% vs 19.6%) and high-risk food sponsors (26.9% vs 9.8%). A higher proportion of clubs in low SES, compared to high SES areas, were affiliated with alcohol (33.9 % vs 16.5%) and gambling sponsors (27.4% vs 12.6%). Conclusion: Victorian children participating in community junior sport are being exposed to marketing of unhealthy brands and products. Public health intervention is necessary to protect children from this exposure.

Prisoners in the correctional area are faced with unexpected situations and conditions. Prisoners ability to solve problems will affect the level of quality of life (QOL). However, research that focused on QOL levels based on age and education is not yet available, so this research is essential. This study applied a cross-sectional design with systemic random sampling and purposive sampling techniques. QoL measurements were carried out at 120 male prisoners using WHOQOL BREF instruments that have been tested as valid and reliable. The study was conducted in one of the Prisons in Central Java Province in September 2019. Inclusion criteria were no family visits, occupation of prisons for less than 18 months, general crime, and no cognitive impairment. The results showed that male prisoners with late adulthood and high school education had higher QOL mean rates of 88.5 and 87.6. The conclusion is the level of QOL related to age and high education.

There are three hypotheses regarding the relationship between Self-Concept Clarity (SCC) and Internet use. It was argued that Internet use: 1) decreases SCC, 2) increases SCC, 3) does not relate with SCC. The present study, in the form of a systematic and meta-analytic synthesis, aimed to explore: a) the extent empirical evidence can support each hypothesis; b) how Internet use-SCC relationship was addressed across studies; c) the intensity of the Internet use –SCC relationship; d) potential moderators. Twenty-one studies (N = 8,910) met the inclusion criteria for the systematic review (i.e., being quantitative, written in English, concerned with Internet use -SCC relationship) and 11 studies (N = 3,298) met the additional criteria for meta-analysis (i.e., being correlational, using self-evaluation instruments, quantifying general Internet use and including the information needed to calculate the meta-analysis specific indicators). Results emphasized that all three hypotheses are plausible, as distinct dimensions of Internet use related differently with SCC. However, the conclusions were limited by the extensive use of cross-sectional design. For general Internet use and SCC relationship the overall effect was -0.350, p < .01. Some moderators were significant: cultural background, Internet operationalization, age homogeneity, participants rewarding. This paper outlines the complexity of SCC – Internet relationship and underlines some of the gaps that should be further addressed. Implications and limits of the study (e.g., publication bias, excluded outcomes in the meta-analysis or possible omission of moderators) are discussed.

Abstract: Hemoglobin (Hb) is a parameter used to determine anemia prevalence. The average level of normal Hb at the end of pregnancy is around 12.5 g/dL, meanwhile, aproximately 5% of pregnant women have Hb level less than 11.0 g/dL. To date, Hb level below 11.0 g/dL especially at the end of pregnancy should be considered as an abnormal phenomenon and is usually caused by iron deficiency and not by hypervolemia which is commonly found in pregnancy. This study was aimed to determine the hemoglobin level of third semester pregnant women in Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital Manado. This was a descriptive study with a cross sectional design. Subjects were 39 third semester pregnant women who visited the Obstetric Department of Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital and fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The results showed that 25 subjects (64.1%) had low hemoglobin levels and 14 subjects (35.9%) had normal level of hemoglobin. In conclusion, most third semester pregnant women had low hemoglobin levels. Organic fertilizer industry in Nganjuk uses manure as basic materials of production. Its process produced particulate matter 2,5 (PM2,5) in the form of dust and smoke. PM2,5 can be inhaled and be retained until alveoli, so it is potentially caused lung function impairment to the workers. The objective of this research was to analyzed the level of PM2,5 and lung function of organic fertilizer industry workers in Nganjuk. The type of this research was observasional descriptive quantitative with cross sectional design. The research sample was using total population of 10 production workers. The result of this research showed that the level of PM2,5 inhaled which exceeded Threshold Limit Value (TLV) or > 3 mg/m3 were on 2 workers who worked on drying and packing process. The average of PM2,5  environment level which exceeded TLV were on manufacturing of granuls, heating and packing process area. Workers who had lung function impairment were 4 workers (40%). Lung function impairment more likely found in workers with exposure of PM2,5 inhaled≤ 3 mg/m3, has age 41 – 60 years, worked period < 5 years, always using cloth as respiratory protective equipment, and had worked in the other places either direct or indirect exposure of dust. The conclusion of this research is production workers of organic fertilizer industry in Nganjuk has risk of lung function impairment. Suggestions for the owner of organic fertilizer industry in Nganjuk are to install natural and unnatural ventilations and to provide air purifying respirators.
