This study is aimed at developing Informational Technology Based Supplementary Listening Material for ‘Bahasa Inggris Kelas XII’ and describing the effectiveness of the developed supplementary listening materials. The research belongs to an Educational Research and Development (R&D) and adopted the ten steps of Borg and Gall’s model (1983) which are simplified into three main stages. They are: (1) Preliminary Study, (2) Development and (3) Field Testing. The material development follows Nation and Macalister’s curriculum design model in which needs, environment and principles were taken into account in determining the content and sequence to achieve the goals, format and presentation of the materials and monitoring and assessment.  The developed listening materials consist of student work book and audio recording created with listening media and cool edit deluxe programs. The findings shows that (1) the developed IT based supplementary listening materials yields effective listening materials for the 12th grade students and (2) the effectiveness of the product helps students to achieve the targeted competences.

<p>Percaya diri merupakan aspek penting bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan potensinya. Percaya diri merupakan keyakinan seseorang terhadap segala aspek kelebihan yang dimilikinya dan keyakinan tersebut membuatnya merasa mampu untuk bisa mencapai berbagai tujuan di dalam hidupnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengatasi rendahnya percaya diri siswa. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian ini adalah rancangan penelitian pengembangan (<em>research and development</em>). Penelitian ini direncakan akan dilaksanakan selama satu tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan lima tahapan, yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan; (2) perencanaan penelitian; (3) pengembangan produk awal; (4) uji lapangan terbatas; dan (5) revisi hasil uji lapangan terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari studi pendahuluan awal menunjukkan bahwa 6,72% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori sangat tinggi, 23,04% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori tinggi, 33,6% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori sedang, 21,12% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori rendah, dan 7,68% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori sangat rendah. Seyogyanya hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi konselor dalam upayanya meningkatkan percaya diri siswa.</p><p align="center"> <strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p>Self confidence is an important aspect for students in developing their potential. Self-confidence is a person's belief in all aspects of the advantages it has and that belief makes it feel able to achieve the various goals in life. The purpose of this study is to overcome the low self-esteem of students. Methods This research using the design of this research is the design of research development (research and development). This study is planned to be implemented for one year. This study uses five stages, namely (1) preliminary study; (2) research planning; (3) early product development; (4) limited field testing; and (5) revision of limited field test results. The results showed that from the preliminary preliminary study showed that 6.72% of students had very high confidence category, 23.04% students had high self-confidence category, 33.6% students had moderate self-confidence category, 21.12% confident category low, and 7.68% students have very low confidence category. The results of this study should be a guide for counselors in an effort to improve students' self-confidence.

This research is focused on developing calculus 1 teaching materials for students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Islamic University, Sheikh Yusuf Tangerang. The reasons for the development of teaching materials were, among others, the low scores of national mathematics exams, and the unavailability of handbooks that could improve basic mathematics skills to support calculus courses.This research aims to produce products in the form of calculus 1 teaching materials for students of the informatics engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, Islamic University Sheikh Yusuf Tangerang. The method used in this research is the method of research and development (Research and Development). The development model chosen in this study is the Borg and Gall model. The stages in this research include: (1) studying research findings (preliminary study and needs analysis), (2) developing the product, and (3) field testing and revising. This study uses a research and development research method wherein the reporting uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of this study classify teaching materials into three subjects, namely theory, introductory questions, and stabilization questions in each chapter. The validation of the study was carried out by 3 expert judgments, namely the validator 1, 93.7%, the validator 2, 89.5%, and the validator 3, 85.4%, so that it had an average relative score of 89.5 with the category of teaching materials good / feasible to use.

In teaching English, the use of media is essential to underpin and facilitate the process. With the recent waves of Technology, some teachers also make an exercise of a digital platform to develop new Media. It is easier to attract students to follow the lesson and also increase their pursuit of learning. This research directed to how the design of digital storytelling to teach narrative for students. The researcher used Educational Research and Development cycle from Borg and Gall (2007) which adjusted into five steps, namely (1) research and information gathering, (2) planning, (3) preliminary product developing, (4) preliminary field testing, and (5) primary product revision. The result of the research shows that digital storytelling can be utilised as a medium to teach narrative. The purpose of the medium must be communicative and attractive for the students. Equally, for the students, they are interested in using digital storytelling medium to learn about narrative. Hence, digital storytelling is designed to occupy those needs and is expected to be useful to teach narrative.

This study aims to develop SCREAMBLE  media to enhance speaking skill among preschoolers in Cahaya Bangsa School Metro. A research question is formulated: is SCREAMBLE media effective to enhance speaking skill? The participants are 18 preschoolers of Kindergarten B chosen by purposive cluster sampling. This is a kind of educational research and development designed by certain procedures; setting the instructional goals, procedures, and materials, conducting performance objectives, field-testing, assessing instruments, doing formulative and summative evaluation. The result gathered by Wilcoxon test represents Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) values 0,000 which is smaller than 0,05 indicates that SCREAMBLE media is effective to enhance speaking skill. Besides, observation reveals that preschoolers are excited to speak since their fine motor and cognitive aspects are included simultaneously.

This research has intended to develop Student Work Sheet for lab activities in XI senior high school of reaction rate subject by green chemistry applied. This research was done on February until June 2012 at JHS 31 Jakarta and Chemistry Department, Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  This research used by Research and Development (R n D) method with qualitative description approach. The method consists by three parts, there are: Preliminary Study is (literature study and observed) Next, Development Phase has for evaluated and revised about trial product w Last, Experiment Phase is for knowing judgment’s student about product . Based on the final testing, it has a conclusion that Student Work Sheet has acceptable for guiding students in lab activities by contained a few of aspects , there are: content, language, presented, and green chemistry concept. Interdisciplinary working is often understood as involving individuals or teams from different disciplines to engage with common problems, but this has proved to be an enduring challenge. An alternative framing of interdisciplinary working is Hall's ‘culture of inquiry’, in which it is conceptualised as narrative creation in an environment of formative critique. This paper explores the relevance and applicability of this idea to educational research and development, specifically in the context of purportedly interdisciplinary TEL projects. It draws on the author's experience in projects in which multiple narratives — pedagogical, technological and social — have the potential to contribute to both to individual and collective understanding and the development of new practice.

<p>The role of knowledge on English Morphology for the students of English Language Education (henceforth ELE) cannot be neglected. However, the preliminary observations done by the researcher during the instructional process of English Morphology at the State College for Islamic Studies (STAIN) Kediri Indonesia, for three academic years shows that most of the students still get difficulty in understanding the course content.  The researcher, therefore, is of the opinion that the instructional materials used in the classes need to be developed. The adaptation version of Borg &amp; Gall (1983) model of R &amp; D  covering preliminary observation, designing preliminary product, expert validation, product revision, field testing or try out, and revision to produce final product is used to develop an instructional material on English Morphology. The products mostly concern on 1) the course content, 2) the exercises, and 3) the level of language difficulty or word choice. The researcher expects that the final product of this study could be used as a handbook for the students in studying English Morphology.</p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> <em>instructional materials, material development, English morphology</em></p>

Salah satu keterampilan abad-21 adalah information media and technology skills. Dalam penerapankurikulum 2013 ini mengacu pada Permendikbud nomor 22 tahun 2016 tentang standar proses pendidikandasar dan menengah. Salah satu prinsipnya adalah menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasiuntuk meningkatkan efisiensi serta efektivitas pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran berbasis androidmerupakan salah satu penerapan gaya belajar abad ke-21. Implementasi mobile phone di sekolah dapatmenguntungkan sebab perangkat tersebut telah dikenal secara umum oleh peserta didik. Permainan terdiridari sekumpulan peraturan yang membangun situasi bersaing dari dua hingga beberapa orang maupunkelompok dengan memilih strategi yang dibangun untuk memaksimalkan kemenangan. Pembelajaranmenggunakan permainan pasti memiliki manfaat juga. Kepraktisan suatu media memililiki kualitaskepraktisan yang tinggi jika pengguna mempertimbangkan media tersebut dapat digunakan dan realitanyamudah untuk menggunakannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model R&D (Research and Development)Borg dan Gall hanya sampai tahap uji coba awal (preliminary field testing. Sasaran penelitian iniadalah peserta didik SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo sebanyak 33 orang dengan jenjang kelas XI MIPA. Mediapermainan zuper abase dapat dikatakan praktis yang ditunjukkan dengan perolehan skor respon pesertadidik yang telah menggunakan media permainan yakni sebesar 78,3670%.Kata kunci: kepraktisan, permainan zuper abase, android, respon peserta didik.

This study aims to develop teaching materials in Production Ecrite Intermediare course to improve the writing ability the student of french departement at Faculty of Languages and Arts at One of State Universities in Northen Island of Indonesia by using SIPDA. This research was conducted to response the condition of covid pandemic situation that uses distance learning courses where students learn from their own homes. This research followed the R & D model proposed by Borg & Gall with the procedure analysing the student’s need, collecting the ressource of development, design the material, evaluatingexisting the materials based on the validation of experts judgement, field testing, revising, and finishing the final product. This research was carried out in the French Language Education Study Program FBS UNIMED by developing SIPDA-based teaching materials in lectures, to find out that these teaching materials can improve the writing skills of students of French Language Education Study Program at FBS Unimed. The results of this study show that SIPDA is very effective in helping students to improve the writing ability of French texts. This research recommends to the lecturers of French courses in general to using SIPDA in the teaching and learning process of writing in the classroom of Production Ecrite Intermediaire.

Hasil uji preliminary field testing menunjukkan bahwa 56,2% responden memiliki tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap aplikasi.The results of the preliminary field testing showed that 56.2% of respondents performed high level of satisfaction about the application-based model.Pada main product revision , dilakukan perbaikan dengan penambahan informasi dan gambar tentang metode kontrasepsi. In main product revision, improvements were made by adding information and images about contraceptive methods.
